Justin Bieber Slams Weak A$$ Club, Denies Breaking Age Rules

2013-03-13T14:01:00.000-07:00

Whatever the heck went down on Friday night at a club in London, it's safe to say Justin Bieber had a memorable 19th birthday.

But with reports stating the singer and his entourage were asked to leave an establishment because two members of their party were underage - Jaden Smith, 14, and Justin's rumored new girlfriend, Ella-Page Roberts Clark, 17 - Bieber has released the following statement via Instagram:

"The funny moment when people believe I brought underage people to a club," Bieber wrote. "You think Will [Smith] is letting his 14 year old in a club, I don't think so."

Justin continued:

"I love how the club wanted to give the press another reason to why we didn't stay at their weak a-- club so they wouldn't look bad for me walking in and right back out.

"I said 'worst bday' (on Twitter) but that was due to dummies pushing over my fans and being overly aggressive... it wasn't the worst bday (birthday) cuz (because) all my friends from back home flew in... I was just mad in the moment."

So at least Bieber has acknowledged how spoiled that initial reaction seemed. Let's just hope he can move on and let's all really hope he has many, many birthdays still ahead of him.

Olivia Wilde to Justin Bieber: Wear a Shirt!

2013-03-13T13:59:00.006-07:00

Allow us to speak for millions of young ladies around the planet as we deliver the following message to Olivia Wilde:

SHUT UP!

In a Twitter message Friday, the actress addressed a certain young singer - following the latest Justin Bieber shirtless stroll, this one around London - and commanded him to don some clothing.

Wrote Wilde:

"Bieber, put your f--king shirt on. (unless you lost all your shirts in a fire in which case my condolences and please purchase a new shirt)."

It's unclear exactly what Wilde is thinking here, considering:

Bieber was also suffering through the worst birthday ever.
Who would ever ask Justin Bieber to wear a shirt?

Justin Bieber Cancels Concert in Portugal

Jada Pinkett Smith Defends Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift, Calls Out Haters

2013-03-13T13:55:00.005-07:00

Jada Pinkett Smith has come to the defense of a couple young A-listers.

With Justin Bieber hearing it these days - following a pot smoking controversy, a blow up at a photographer and more - Smith penned a Facebook post that didn't mention any star by name.

But whose subject matter was obvious to any celebrity gossip follower.

"It is as if we have forgotten what it means to be young or even how to behave like good ol' grown folk," the actress wrote on Sunday.

"Do we feel as though we can say and do what we please without demonstrating any responsibility simply because they are famous?

"Is it okay to continually attack and criticize a famous 19 year old who is simply trying to build a life, exercise his talents while figuring out what manhood and fame is all about as he carries the weight of supporting his family as well as providing the paychecks to others who depend on him to work so they can feed their families as well?

"Does that render being called a c*** by an adult male photographer as you try to return to your hotel after leaving the the hospital?"

Smith, whose son Jaden is close to Bieber, then turned her attention to Taylor Swift, who has also under fire for her dating life and recently snapping at Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

"What about being a young woman in her early twenties, exploring the intracacies [sic] of love and power on the world stage?

"Should we shame a young woman for displaying a sense of innocence as she navigates through the murky waters of love, heartbreak, and fame? Are these young people not allowed to be young, make mistakes, grow, and eventually transform a million times before our eyes?"

Overall, Jada asks: Are we bullying our young artists?

What do you think, THGers? Does the actress raise a few good points here? Or is this just all part of playing the fame game?

Justin Bieber is doing just fine, thanks.

So says the man who may know the singer best.

"There's nothing wrong with him. He's in a great place."

Braun, who was approached by the outlet at SXSW, said the Lisbon event had been axed awhile ago due to technical issues and "ut has nothing to do with anything other than that"

"Tell everyone Justin is good," Braun said. "Really good."

Bieware! Biebermania is taking over Boston today, as famously toss-coiffed Justin Bieber blows into town for his sold-out concert at the TD Garden.

“The girls go nuts! They scream, they faint, they cry,” said five-time Bieber concert goer Jenna Isaacson, 15, of Beacon Hill. She won’t do any of that, though. “I want him to notice me for who I am, in a good way.”

Bieber crowds have gotten so out of hand that his appearances have been canceled at least twice over safety concerns.

TD Garden spokeswoman Tricia McCorkle declined to comment about special security measures for the throngs of eager Biebers, only saying security would be “typical.” But she acknowledged, “This is one of our loudest shows. It’s those teeny-bopper screams when he comes out.”

Bieber was living in a small town in Canada when an Atlanta-based agent discovered him on YouTube. This March, less than three years later and now 16, he skyrocketed to the top of Billboard with his first full album—the youngest solo male artist to do so since Stevie Wonder.

Sabrena Messier is being driven in from Connecticut to turn 14 at the concert tonight.

“Most of my friends think that I’m a little too obsessed because that’s what I talk about, and I wear ‘Sabrena Bieber’ shirts,” Messier said. She has a “Sabrena is Bieber’s bride” sweatshirt and bridal veil for tonight. “I’m kind of proud of it, because I really do love Justin Bieber. I think he’s great.”

She got a close-up glimpse of her Biebthrob last year in Providence, where the shoving got so bad, she said, some fans went home injured.

“We were waiting in line for a long time in the cold and his car pulled up and we heard screaming and then we looked over and he got out of his car with his mom,” she said. “I haven’t been the same since.”

“I saw him and realized he was real and it wasn’t computers making his voice sound like that. It really made me a believer,” she added.

“I Tweet at him every day. .... If he wrote back, I would cry. I would freak out.”
