Visible Love

The Untold Story

2017-02-28T18:30:00.000-08:00

The ink that prints on my papers gentles heart

Stroking and filling the page with question marks

Waiting for me to tell it what to write

Can we connect? It asked

Are you ready to pick up the mat and walk?

When is your true story going to start?

It needs something that grabs the reader’s heart

It wants to inspire and be inspired, but I can't.

The ink wants to know, the ink asks

Question marks after question marks

It wants stories that are untold

Filled with action that is bold.

Why do you ask me to write about a dream that hasn't been lived?

An action that turned to an illusion

Faith without work

Work without faith

A disconnected life that is hard to write in cursive

A life that is illusive

Too many periods and gaps between letters

Too many dots....and comas, , , in between words

They all end with question marks???

Though you have the answer

You refused to give

Though you have the passion you refused to live

The cries of your heart you ignore

The pages you kept filling with meaningless words.

Instead I want to write...

How you find meaning to your life

How you picked up the mat

How you inspired and walk the talk

How you stopped being crippled

How you stayed still and listened

How you served others without limits

How you lived your life with no regrets.

"Now there is in Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool, which in Aramaic is called Bethesdaand which is surrounded by five covered colonnades. Here a great number of disabled people used to lie—the blind, the lame, the paralyzed. One who was there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?”

“Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.”

Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up the mat and walk" At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked. " John 5:1-9

If The Soul Speaks

2017-02-21T21:12:00.000-08:00

I nagged

Because I loved

I fret

Because I hurt

I cried because I cared

I didn't want to let you go

Without trying

I didn't want to watch you live a life that ends in regretting

Don't worry my love I am done trying

My part is done
I won't ask you to try again
I won't ask you when?
I won't ask you where or how long

You said enough

You just want to gratify yourself

I just didn't want to listen

I wanted to believe and convince my self

You loved and cared as much as I did

I will keep on living

At least knowing

Once I loved without limits

Once I cared as deep as I could

Once I tried to save and guide

What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?

Matthew 16:26

The Purpose Driven Women

2017-02-07T20:06:00.001-08:00

She made her bed next to the soft hearted,

gave up her comfort so they can be comforted.

The meek, the humble, the poor in spirit,

All became her friends whom she called blessed.

She said good bye to vanity and fine clothes,

Wrapped her body with love and kindness;

Wore the gloves of helping hands,

While putting the High heels of awesomeness,

She walked each day with a purpose,

To make this world a better place.

You can smell her scent from far away,

She wears a perfume called save one soul a day.

Though her body still craves the old ways,

Her soul desires to fulfill her purpose;

Where she finds warmth and happiness,

A heavenly peace that is endless.

"The purposes of a person's heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out"

After The Rain Drops

2017-01-31T19:26:00.000-08:00

After the rain drops you will remember me,

Because you've seen my tears;

Covering the ground with shiny droplets,

Steamy asphalt and grassy sweetness.

You will look up and see the clouds

Hung above you like washed out mirrors;

Reflecting back my sorrow with white patches

You will remember me when the sun disappears.

When you see the pain you have caused,

Through lack of kindness and painful words

One day you will say;

“If I only get one more chance

Instead of war I would declare peace.

Oh how I wish

To Touch your face and wipe your tears

To embrace you with open arms

I would make your rainy eyes sparkle

Lift the clouds make your heart shine.”

What would happen? I wonder

If your confession came a bit sooner;

Before the rain poured

Before the tears dropped

Before it is too late to mend my broken heart.

All I can say now is remember me

When you see the rain drops

Tell the story of the clouds

How they gathered

How they turned dark

How they promise to never look back.

When you cause pain to your loved ones and take them for granted you may not see the pain they go through passed their tears. Don't wait until it is too late to patch things up. Sometimes all it takes is a

Sincere apology and a warm hug to push back the rain and bring the sun back.

If you are the one who is hurting… May you find hope through him who will always love you no matter what as he promised to wipe your tears and give you everlasting peace.
"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4

Win The War

2017-01-24T18:10:00.000-08:00

The whole world clapped,

All the stars cheered;

The big moon shouted,

You healed my wounded heart

Right from the start!

Here comes the beauty shining like a star;

She looked around to see who is near who is far.

Love controlled the stage, turning left turing right;

With the kindest eyes, caring the biggest heart

No judgment inside, a smile so bright.

Good evening all equal!

Colors put aside, judgment moved to the back;

Let's carry the light, let's say no to the dark.

Caring is your sword, Love could be your arrow;

Forgiveness at your sight, win the war on sorrow.

Be a brave soldier overcome your ego;

Show your love to others, until you see it glow.

If you act in fury it will ignite fire;

With deep kindness you could go much further.

Overcome hate with love, transcend in utter peace;

Benevolence Witness, be a shield for the weak.

"But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you"

The gift I carry with me

2017-01-16T17:53:00.000-08:00

Once I was given a gift I wasn't supposed to keep.

It was to spread my wings, and bring hope to the eyes that weep
Fly around the world, carry the broken hearted;
Free the prisoners of the head, Wipe the tears of the dead
Flood the earth with hope, cover the wounded souls
March around and shout how love really heals.

I kept the gift buried deep inside my heart;
I lived my own life, ignored the voice inside
The gift that wasn't mine wanted to run away;
It woke me up each day pointing toward the sky,
And whispered try, try you must at least try.

You see those hands stretched
Hearts wide open
Eyes that wants to see beneath a shaded soul
Ears that hopes to hear words that last a while
They are all waiting for you to spread your wings and fly
Try! Please try, you must at least try.

We all have a gift that is given to us by the most high that is unique and personal in its own way; however this gift is not for us to keep. It is given to us to share with others, to stay connected, to exchange, and to enrich other people’s life. By sharing this gift we could really make a difference in some one’s life. Your gift could inspire, give hope, wakeup someone who is a sleep, free someone who is imprisoned or simply bring a smile to another soul. We are like the sun that gives warmth to others, the moon that gives light, and the rivers that quenches thirst. What would the moon be if it kept its own light all to its self, what if the sun hides its heat, and the river stops being a river? The point is when we keep our God's given gift all to ourselves we lose our identity, we lose a sense of who we are, and most of all we lose the chance to show others our visible love.

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace:1 Peter 4:10

Inside the Cemetry

2013-09-03T23:54:00.001-07:00

Buried inside the rocks

Shut inside the heavy box,

Starring at darkness through the soil,

Listening to the quietness of my soul;

I was left alone to look back at my past,

To be my own judge and to cast.

Have you been feeding only your own flesh?

Were you buried under your own selfishness?

Were you the person you were supposed to be?

Lived a life that is worth to see

Did you do anything to change this world?

Or did you walk around uninterrupted

Taking the time God gave you for granted

Feeding your own ego as you wanted.

What were these hands up to?

Did they feed the hungry and give to the needy?

Or were they hard to reach and very greedy

Did they hold the hands of a broken spirit?

Or were they too busy rubbing a pocket

How much money did they give away?

How many people did they feed and carry?

What were these lips up to?

Did they speak the truth of hope to the hopeless?

Were they filled with wisdom and thankfulness?

How many people did they bless?

Or were they spitting poison and curse

Did they make others laugh or cry?

Did they tell lies and deny?

Faced with questions I couldn't answer,

I could only wish I have done better.

Laying down and starring at the dark,

I wanted to have my life back.

If I could only have a new start,

I would have made every day count;

I wouldn't be here haunted by my past.

It is now too late for me to do all that,

Regret is what I carry and depart…

“Earthly people are like the earthly man, and heavenly people are like the heavenly man. Just as we are now like the earthly man, we will someday be like the heavenly man. What I am saying, dear brothers and sisters, is that our physical bodies cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. These dying bodies cannot inherit what will last forever.”

Corinthians 15: 49-50

The Soul

2013-08-22T11:36:00.000-07:00

They say the eyes are the window to the soul,

I wonder what people see when they look through mine.

Do they see a soul that is troubled?

Broken in pieces and crippled

Or do they see a soul that is in peace?

Who enjoys each day with ease.

When I see through so many people eyes,

This is what I see from the inside;

A young soul that feels trapped,

Who is desperate to be heard.

“Let me out!” She screams

“I am trapped!” She shouts

“Please help” She whispers

The body ruling over her,

Ignoring her voice and hunger.

Day after day she prays,

Kneeling on her knees and wiping her tears.

Sometimes though it is rare,

I run in to an old soul that is in ease

It gives my heart a sense of peace.

When I look through this person eyes

I cannot move but stare,

I sink through them and glare.

It is as if my own soul knows

The peace inside them it shows.

They pull me in as if there is gravity,

There is so much energy and clarity

I dread to depart their company;

Each second with them is a journey.

Then I walk away and wonder

What their soul thought of mine

What if my own soul is trapped?

What if my own soul is asking for help?

Only God could set my soul free

Only God could create the peace inside me,

But it is all up to me to surrender

So my soul could live in peace forever.

The Eagel

2013-02-20T13:39:00.000-08:00

I the eagle a symbol of Strength and beauty,

I the eagle a symbol of freedom and authority;

I fly toward light; the sun can’t harm my eyes,

My enemies are behind me blinded by the sight.

Deep in to the clouds I glide and soar,

I can fly and rise I am not afraid of the storm.

I get really excited when clouds start to gather,

I mount up and ride on the air current farther.

When you see trial and temptation,

You too must fly directly to the sun;

The light of God will blind your enemy,

You will get rid of sadness and worry.

Don’t be content to live with mediocrity,

Soar in the heaven far above the winds of adversity.

Fly the storm of life with great faith,

Don’t rely on human Support or consciousness;

Act like a child of God with great confidence,
everyhing is possible when you are in his hands.

You are not made to be with chickens in barns,

But you are made to fly like me in heavens above.

Don’t feed yourself anything that is dead,

What enters in you determines your strength;

With Prayers and praise develop your wings,

Sharpen your vision understand his words;

Fine-tune your ear to obey God’s voice,

Destroy evil and fly high from your sins.

"They that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31 KJV

My Flower

2013-02-14T06:25:00.002-08:00

I don't know if it was an accident, Or if it is a destiny

I don't know if it was a dream or reality

I don't know how I found you, or is it you who found me?

May be you walked through a flame of fire and you cut through the forest,

I might have crossed the river and flew from a different content;

Somehow and some way,

You came in to my life one day.

You walked in to my heart unexpected,

It was very calm and uninterrupted;

When I looked up I saw us holding hands,

I turned around and I was under your arms.

I didn't have to ask who you are,

Or did I need to know where you were.

My soul felt at home when I looked through your eyes,

I was in peace when you whispered through my ears.

The warmth of your hands reminded me of my favorite season,

When you hugged me I felt protected beyond reason;

I longed for days I see you face to face.

When I finally saw you I wished the hours would never end,

I hope there will be many more days to come my beloved.

I want us to grow like two flowers next to each other,

Blooming each day feeding their cents to one another;

I will be your water and you will be my sun,

We will cry together when we need the rain.

I will take out any weeds that is keeping you from growing,

And I hope you return my love by taking out mine.

"Come my beloved let us go forth to the field; let us lodge in the villages. Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine has budded, whether the grape blossoms are open, and the pomegranates are in bloom. There I will give you my love. The mandrakes give of fragrance and at our gates are pleasant fruits, all manner, new and old which I have laid up for you, my beloved." Song of Solomon 7: 11-13

Waiting for you to notice me

2013-02-13T00:49:00.002-08:00

Why do you keep asking and praying?

When I am the one who is waiting,

Waiting for you to notice me

Just for a moment to look at me.

Why do you look at me?

But you can’t see me

You stretch your arms,

But you can’t touch me

You keep asking one question

Over and over and you wonder.

I am not sure what you are asking,

I found you and you found me;

You are the one who kept hiding

You pass by me you pass through me,

But never took the time to notice me.

May be one day you realize

How much I loved

How much I cared

How I tried and how I suffered

How I wanted to be notice.

Which one are you? Are you the one who is doing the ignoring or are your the one who is waiting to be noticed? While you don't want to force love, you also don't want to ignore it when it comes on your way.

If you are the one who has been doing the ignoring it is time for you to look around and find out who that person is and try to give that person a chance. (Obviously this doesn't apply to people who are already in a relationship) If not be honest and let them know not to waste their time on you...tell them to move on.

If you are the one who has been waiting to be noticed, maybe it is time for you to let go of that person; because if they never take the time to notice you, they may never will and life is too short to be wasting your time on someone who doesn't care about you. In some cases that someone may not even know you exist. Invest that energy on someone who would appreciate your value. Remember you are more than a shadow, you are created in the image of God, you are worthy of Love.

"God's will is for each of us is to experience the joy of Love. He did not created us to be alone but to find fulfillment and joy in relationship with one another."

"Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm: For love is as strong as death, jealousy as cruel as the grave; its flames are flames of fire, a most vehement flame. Many waters can not quench love, nor can the floods drown it." Song of Solomon 8: 6-7

May your song of love be as sweet as the Songs of Solomon . Happy Valentines!

The Ladder

2013-02-07T21:00:00.001-08:00

In my dream I dreamed of a ladder,

Excited I asked myself and pondered

Is this the famous Jacob ladder? I doubted.

Wishing and hoping to repeat history

Wondering if God chose me to see his Glory

I looked up to see the gate of haven

But, God was not on top of the ladder

There were no angels to encounter;

It was Just a simple stepladder I climb up every day,

It was my own life I lived day by day.

So, I had a simple talk with the ladder

Though I knew it would not give me any answer.

“Every day I am trying to climb you up

Every day I hold on to you so tight

Afraid to let go and enjoy the scenery

I want to get to the top, I worry.

Sometimes I am afraid of falling,

Sometimes I am afraid of dying;

Why can’t I enjoy each step?

Why I am I focused only to get to the top?"

I should know each step is a journey,

Each step is a way to my destiny,

Each step makes me who I am today;

Each is step I passed is my history.

If I rush and get to the top,

I might miss what is really important.

I may not see the angels going up and down,

Or worse, I may fall off and never see God on the crown.

I may never know how you are attached to the ground,

And how you reach the haven by the power of the unknown;

From now on I will enjoy your every step and blessing,

My life will be filled with singing, and rejoicing.

" Then he dreamed, and behold a ladder was setup on earth and its top reach to heaven; and there the angels of God were acending and decending on it... Genesis 28:12

Adam and Eve

2013-02-06T07:27:00.001-08:00

When Adam awake from a deep sleep,
Eve was standing on the cliff
Admiring the heaven and taking a deep breath.
He didn't know who she was, but he felt his heart skip,

His first instinct was to give her a big kiss,

Not wanting to scare her, he decides to speak.

Still laying on the ground he said hello to her,

When she smiled and said hello, heaven starts to spin.

Overwhelmed by his feelings and the beauty of God’s gift,

He got up and walk toward her hiding his heartbeat.

He asked for her name, she said her name was Eve;

Her voice was like music, he couldn't speak but weep.

Then he looked through her eyes to tell her how he felt,

But she run away and hid playing hard to get.

After looking for her for so many days and nights

Excited by the chase and his animal instincts;

Adam declared his love, unable to wait.

“I think of you by day, I think of you by night,

Every minute I have every second I got.

The moment I laid my eyes on you, you took my heart and hide

what else can you call this except love at first sight.

I don’t know what to do should I just let you go?

How can I know for sure unless you tell me so.

Sometimes I am so sure we share the same feeling

Sometimes I am afraid I am just imagining.

I wish you would tell me I wish I know your heart,

I can’t go anywhere I feel really stuck “

Eve finally came out and also confessed her love

She never loved no one, he is the only Man.

She told him the story, the part of her dream

From the day they met to the reason she is here.

They kissed, and hugged and laughed, they both looked at the stars;

They shared each other tears, they shared each other hearts.

Valentine’s Day is around the corner and whenever we discuss the subject of Romantic Love the first love story that comes in our mind is Shakespeare’s "Romeo and Juliet". We often forget the very first love story that was written is actually in the bible, which is the Love between Adam and Eve. If only it was written in details of how they fall in love and what they really said to each other, it would have been the most romantic story ever written. After all Adam loved Eve so much he was willing to eat the forbidden fruit that got him in so much trouble...This poem is my version of their love story, please share if you have one…Happy Valentine’s.

“The Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and he took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man he made it in to a woman and brought her to the man.” Genesis 2: 21-22

Dreaming of Heaven

2013-01-31T23:53:00.000-08:00

I was dreaming of heaven here on earth,

The Garden of Eden that took away my breath.

The river flowing, the wave glistening

Trees were clapping, watching the leaves dancing;

The wind whispering, branches swaying

Sunflower and lilies, Roses and daisies;
Filling all of heaven with the most amazing cents.

The colorful air, the sparkling sunshine

The smiling stars posing to take pictures

The sun and the moon, holding each other hands

Butterflies and birds playing seek and hide;

Lions and kangaroos standing side by side

Beautiful angels singing and praising God.

The sky was colorful there was no more clouds

Love was on the air, hate was hard to find.

No Man was starving, nobody was homeless;

No child crying, no women were weeping.

There was no more thirst, there was no more hunger;

There was no more sickness there was no more Anger.

It was very peaceful, there was only laughter;

Everyone was happy enjoying each other

Singing and praising God, the heavenly father.

Then I looked and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures and the elders and the number of them was ten thousand and ten thousands of thousands saying with a loud voice: “worthy is the lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing. Revelation 5: 11

The Artist

2013-01-28T12:13:00.000-08:00

I must tell you my deepest secret,

I am an artist who likes to paint;

Using love as my brush,

What you call life as my canvas.

What colors I mix? It does not matter,

As long as it have a good texture;

To add some to it a good character.

I create something that is in my heart,

Making it warm and somewhat bright;

Sometimes I like some shading,

Other times I add some lighting;

Stroking love erasing pain,

Using colors like happiness,

Avoiding hatred and selfishness.

Where ever my mind goes, my hand follows,

My heart is in charge it knows.

I touch, I feel, and I smell the paint,

Using my senses to create;

Getting lost at the moment,

Not knowing what will happen next.

Color theory? Sometimes I use,

But other times I skip all the rules.

So go ahead and give me the empty canvas,

That will take my talent Just the way I am.

I am a great artist, but I am not perfect,

I am creative and very passionate;

I am not common, I am different.

Don’t try to change the way I paint,

Just accept and take me with all my talent.

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge and if I have faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I am nothing. 1 Corinthians 13: 1-3

The answer to my "why?"

2013-01-21T09:41:00.000-08:00

I asked God …

Why there is so much human suffering?

Why children go through so much grieving?

Why people get away with murder?

Why innocent people suffer?

When is this going to stop?

How are the helpless supposed to cope?

Why is this world so filthy?

So much sadness, so much misery,

Contaminated by people;

People who care only about themselves

Who cause pain to others,

Especially to children

The helpless of the helpless.

How can this people sleep at night?

How can they face the day light?

When pain looks at them in the eyes,

When suffering screams in their ears;

When fingers point at them on the face,

And say "Look how you ruined my life!"

Then he answered…

Your Job is not to ask that question,

Because you may never know the answer,

And I will handle this so much better.

Your job is to do what you can,

To help the helpless one by one;

To do your part to care for others,

To show everyone kindness,

To hug to comfort, to reach for their hands;

To be there for them when times are bad.

Your Job is to love others my child,

Let me do the judgment, let me be God.

" And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. Then who he sat on the throne said, "Behold I make all things new." And he said to me write for these words are true and faithful. And he said to me " It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be my son. But the cowardly unbelieving abominable , murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their parts in the lake which burns with fire brimstone, which is the second death." Tell them

2013-01-17T10:09:00.000-08:00

Tell them how I wanted a house
A place I can call home,
It is not only a shelter;
But a human heart I can go under.
A hug I can count on,
A touch that would say I care;
A shoulder I can cry on,
Just someone my friend;
Just someone I would feel at home.

Tell them the sleepless nights,
The days the sun never comes out;
The weeks that drugged too slow,
The hours that dreads to go;
The darkness I feel inside,
How many times I said to myself;
Can someone show me a little light?
A little love my friend, a little hope.

Tell them how I looked brave on the outside,
But deep inside I am still a frightened child;
Who longed to have a real mother,
Or somewhat a mother figure
Who tells me I am safe and loved,
Who tucks me in bed and holds me tight;
And tells me; sleep tight, sleep well my child.

Tell them how many times I wash my self
to get rid of the dirt in my head,
How I am forced to have shower after shower;
In order to mask the stench in my mind,
How I feel dirty deep inside,
Covering myself in creams
Drowning my body in perfumes,
But the smell exists only in my imagination
It is the burden of memory that weighs me down.

You may say why should I tell them
Can’t you just tell them yourself?
Here is the reason why my friend...
I have no voice so I can't speak,
I may look alive but I am dead;
From years of suffering and pain,
From loss of love and loneliness;
From anger and human cruelness,
I am not alive, my voice is shut;
But I want the world to know about my past.
And so they could do something to change the fate,
The fate of others who suffers like me before it is too late...

I was inspired to write this poem after reading a book called " The road to lost innocence" by Somaly Mam A true story of a Cambodian women who became a prostitute against her will and millions of women and children like her as young as a 5 and 6 years old who suffered unspeakable acts of brutality and witnessed horror that would hunt them for the rest of their lives...there must be something each of us can do to change the fate of this children and women...please go to www.somaly.org to find out how you can help or to purchase her book I mentioned above.

Tears, prayers and love to this beautiful souls...

All year long I waited,

Month by month I counted.

Hoping and wishing praying to God,

To bring a better year to everyone.

Coming up with names that would fit you,

Asking my self what to name you.

Hope? Love? Faith? Or Joy?

You are many but you are one,

There is no one name I can give you.

All I know deep in my heart,
You are different and very special.

Bringing good news to everyone,

Sitting inside me like an unborn child,

Kicking, turning, waiting and hoping;

Counting the days sleeping and waiting,

Growing better, growing bigger,

the big day is coming it is getting closer.

Sweet New Year I cannot wait,

Yes I admit I am impatient.

To see your face, to see your eyes,

To say welcome my new child,

To hold you and caress you with my warm hands;

To kneel on my knees and thank my God.

The world is waiting,

The world is hoping;

The world named you 2013.

Some want love, some want hope,

Some want God, some want change,

But you are everything to everyone.

Go on my child, go on and be born,

Bring good news to everyone.

"This is what the Lord Says-Your redeemer, who formed you in the Womb: I am the Lord, who has made all things, Who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself..." Isaiah 44:24 May the Lord be a head of you, on your side, behind you, through your heart and Soul this Coming New Year and forever...Amen. Happy New Year!

Nothing is Impossible to God

2012-12-20T21:28:00.000-08:00

“With God Nothing will be impossible ” Said the Angel to Mary the virgin who was about to conceive a child by the power of the Holly Spirit. Yes it is true nothing is impossible to God. The Christmas season, more than any other season is a reminder of the fact that God is capable of anything. When the Angel said “Nothing is Impossible to God” he meant “nothing”. He didn’t say except solving your problems, except healing your sickness, except opening the closed door you have been waiting for to open...we can go on and on. But, why do we doubt? Why do we think our problem is so special and God can’t fix it?

If a Virgin Can conceive a child and still stay a virgin by the power of God, If God Can send his only son to come as a human to earth, If the king of king’s could make himself so low and be born in a Manger because he loved us, If God can send the star to lead the Shepherds, so they can go see the new born king. If Mary’s Cousin Elizabeth could conceive a child by the power of God in her old age after every one thought it was impossible for her to have a child…If God can do all of these and more, why do we doubt when it comes to our own problems?

Let’s not doubt my brothers and sisters…Instead let’s remember Christmas the birth of our lord is also the birth of hope, It is the birth of Joy, the birth of salvation, the birth of peace and yes of course the birth of “Love” Which is the greatest of all, and no one ever showed greater love more than Christ himself.

This Christmas season let's make it a point to renew our faith in God who makes the impossible possible. Let's also bring the good news of Love, peace, hope and Joy to everyone we come in contact with, for there is no better present ever given than those. And when we receive those presents, may our song of praise be as beautiful as Mary when she received the good news.

The Song of Mary

My soul magnifies the Lord,

And my Spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.

For he has regarded the lowly state of his maidservant;

For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed.

For he who is mighty have done great things for me,

And holy is his name.

And his mercy is on those who fear him.

From generation to generation he has shown strength with his arm:

He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.

He has put down the mighty from their thrones and exalted the lowly.

He has filled the hungry with good things.

And the rich he has sent away empty.

He has helped his servant Israel,

In remembrance of his mercy,

And he spoke to our fathers

To Abraham and his seeds forever”

Luke 1: 47-54

Season of Hope

2012-12-11T00:04:00.000-08:00

Season hope season of love,

Christmas the birth of our lord.

He had come to mend the broken hearted,

Let us celebrate and be glad in it.

He had come to preach the good tidings to the poor,

To set liberty to those who are bound.

He had come to remove the problem called sin,

And to show us what love really means.

Season of hope, the plan of our lord,

This child is born in Bethlehem;

He had come to proclaim liberty to the captive,

This is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation;

In his death he will purchase our redemption.

Joyful people the good tiding has sent his only son,

Not to condemn, but to set us free from our sin.

Let’s invite the poor to our heart,

Let‘s bring good news to everyone we meet;

Let’s tell them what this season is all about.

The birth of our Lord Jesus Christ,

The greatest gift of all we can receive.

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, the everlasting Father, the prince of peace." Issaiah 9:6

The 5 steps of prayer

2012-12-05T00:01:00.000-08:00

I am to enter your gate in thanks giving,

This makes me so happy there is no more grieving.

Either I am happy or I feel blue and sad,

Specifically thanking you one by one;

For what you have done for me makes some so glad.

I thank you for what you have done throughout the day,

For my health, love, and peace; friends and family.

I thank you for the peace in my mind and body,

Even the little things you give me day by day.

I also praise you lord, for what you are every day,

For your undying love, glory and mercy;

For creating the world, and creating the sea,

For not lacking any thing because you are holly.

After thanks giving I confess all my sins,

Because of your mercy you gave me salvation.

When I confess my sin I know I am wrong,

I become so clean, sin can hold me no more.

I bow down and ask for what I need every day,

Though you know what I want, you like to hear me say.

I ask for my daily bread, and everything else I dreamed,

Expecting the best to give me what I need.

I pray for others even my enemies,

Once I pray for them they no longer will be.

I pray for the poor and I pray for the rich ,

My family and neighbors and my closest friends;

Every one in my mind that needs a prayer,

I give you one by one to god my savior.

I spent some time reading the bible,

To hear you speak to me so it is not one way done.

I meditate and think and try to understand,

Your wonderful wisdom my soul needs so bad.

Starting every prayer with thankfulness makes our prayer life so much more enjoyable. Not only God is delighted when we open our prayer with thanksgiving, it will also make it easier for us to see our blessings and we become so much more appreciative of what we have. Daily prayer is as important to our soul as food is to our body. The best way to encurage our selves to pray daily and make our prayer time more effective is to have an organized prayer. I found the 5 steps of prayer listed below very helpful. Which is why I wanted to share them with you.

1. Thanking God for what he has done for us and who he is

2. Confessing our sins

3. Asking for our needs

4. Praying for others

5. Meditating on his word

Wsley L. Duewel said it best when he wrote about the importance of prayer "Time waiting on God in prayer is never lost. From your prespective there may be much waiting and apparent delay. From God's prespective your waiting in extended prayer is an investment." so lets pray and encourage others to do so as well.

" Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, belive that you have recived it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your father in heaven my forgive you your sins." Mark 11:24-15

"For if you give, you will get! Your gift will return to you in full and overflowing measure, pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, and running over. Whatever measure you use to give — large or small — will be used to measure what is given back to you." Luke 6:38

The Beauty of Love

2012-11-28T05:12:00.000-08:00

Love feels the soul with happiness,

Brings everyone to togetherness;

It fills the heart with delight,

Sweeps darkness and brings light;

Welcomes kindness, and declares peace,

Wipes envy and replaced by grace.

If we can get together and say “No” to hate,

If we all would welcome love to our heart;

Denying the worst bringing the best,

We can make this world a better place.

No matter what they say and what other do to us,

Let’s fight them with a sword of love.

Let's draw a picture let’s paint together,

Let's sing a song of love bring a smile to sadness;

Giving, caring, and not expecting,

Singing like a bird flying and walking;

Field with love ready to serve.

Yes we can fill the earth with beautiful hymns

No matter where you are in heaven or earth,

Make sure you love others show them kindness;

So they see only mercy never ever meanness,

Treasures of love that comes deep from the heart.

"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God." 1 John 4:7

Falling Gracefully

2012-11-26T11:01:00.001-08:00

I was walking alone and I stumbled on rock,

I fell gracefully in the hands of god.

I relaxed my muscle and I rolled up my head,

I was bruised a little but it didn’t feel that bad.

His hands felt so soft and yet very strong,

Everything was ok there was nothing wrong.

I felt so safe and secure and continued to walk,

Protected by him around the clock.

From the outside it may look really bad,

But I wish you could all see, the peace I feel inside.

My faith was strong and my fall was all planned,

I was protected by the almighty God.

Don’t try desperately to avoid your fall,

Unless you want to have a painful run.

Plan your fall a head have faith in your heart,

He will wait for you so you can land on his hands.

"One often observes a fear of falling in people. Yet even the best of competitive figure skaters can fall. We also meet with falls in everyday life. One has to learn how to fall painlessly. What does a painless fall consist? It is a directed fall, which is to say after losing balance we direct the body so that it lands on the side where the least damage will be done. As we fall, we relax our muscles and roll up, protecting the head. A fall that follows in accordance with this principle is not dangerous. On the other hand trying desperately to avoid a fall often causes a painful spill at the last moment, when there is no chance to prepare for it." (Z. Osi’nski, W.. Satarosta, speed –and Figure-skating.

One way to prepare for a fall is getting to know God personally. If we already have a relationship with him it will become natural for us to fall gracefully, and it will keep us from panicking when things go wrong. We will not be afraid because we know for sure the almighty god is there stretching his hand to catch as. Daily prayer and reading the scripture will make our fall as easy us a butterfly landing on a beautiful flower.

"Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him." James 1:12
