After spending hours researching about this camera, I bought it because I decided it was the best. Now that I have used it for several months, I know for myself. Why? Several reasons.

1. The image quality was my #1 concern and this camera doesn't disappoint. Indoors, the quality is definitely more than acceptable, but outdoors is where it really jumps out at you. Color was amazing and there was absolutely no blurriness, fuzziness or grain. It's really as good as it can get.

2. The photo mode is very useful and more than just an added feature. In 8.9 mp, the quality was better than expected (outdoors at least).

3. The touchscreen interface is easy to understand and people with steep learning curves will adjust without trouble. Also, the physical buttons on the camera are few in number, with only the most used and most logical functions being present; everything else is handled one step at a time on the touchscreen.

Recently while preparing for a trip to Africa, I purchased an entry level Samsung camcorder. I was extremely disappointed in both image quality and overall functionality. In fact, I did not even take it to Africa, as it offered no advantage over the camcorder functionality built into my Canon Elf digital camera.

So, I was very excited about the chance to get this higher end Sony Camcorder. After my experience with the Samsung, I came into the deal somewhat skeptical. After spending some time with this Sony, I have become a true believer. In this review, I will focus on the things I liked about this camera, as compared to the entry level cameras I have used in the past.

While I've yet to use this product sufficiently to review all its features, I felt compelled to warn potential buyers about the fact that Amazon misleadingly aggregates reviews for at least two different models--the HDR-CX260V and HDR-PJ260V. While the two are almost identical, the PJ260V contains an additional built-in projector for watching your movies without needing to hook up the camcorder to a TV or laptop. Amazon uses the same product description for both, however, and applies the same reviews to both models. Therefore, unless you have a sharper eye than I, it's entirely possible to search for the CX260V, then read a number of reviews describing the product's projector; and end up mistakenly buying the CX260V instead of the PJ260V. As I see from at least one of the other comments to comments, moreover, I'm not alone in doing so. For anyone on the fence, and especially for those frustrated by the performance slowdown issues with the original Nexus 7 tablet, don't let that scare you off from buying the second generation model.

Google made all of the right improvements to the product, and the result is a significantly improved product for a marginally higher cost. Only time will tell if this unit suffers the same performance fate as the original model (for those not familiar, over time, the first generation tablets tended to quickly slow down and struggle to perform even basic tasks like browsing the internet). However, Android 4.3 feels ultra-smooth so far, and I am hoping that Google and Asus learned from their original mistakes.

Being an IT professional, I've used a variety of Android and Apple devices, probably dozens at this point. I'm well versed in Apple, Android and Microsoft world, and have a MCSE/MCSA and half a dozen other MS/IT certs, so I know what I'm talking about.

I suspect it will take a month or two before I'm fully versed in the eccentricities of this tablet, but here is my 3 hours of use review:

Let me preface this by saying that I am by no means a casual tablet user; I'm a tech geek. I got the original Nexus 7 on the release date and I have been lucky to get the new Nexus 7 before its official release. I will be reviewing this tablet as it suits me, and my needs from a tablet are most likely going to be different from those of the typical user. However, I'll do my best to shed some light on this tablet even if I've only had it for a couple of days. I'm going to be dividing my review into several sections.

Design: The new Nexus 7 definitely is lighter than its predecessor; that's apparent right away. While it isn't quite as thin as the iPad Mini, I am not one to get into the hype on thinness. I purchased the RX100 last year, which has since been my favourite compact camera to use, and so far I haven't come across a camera that betters it, that is of course until this upgrade that brings some much welcomed extras.

Here are some of the upgraded features:

☑ An improved sensor (Exmor R CMOS Sensor); it's still the same size and has the same effective mega-pixels, but is now backlit which means it's able to pick up light by a further 40%.
☑ Hot-shoe; no idea why they didn't include this on the previous version, but at least it's here now.
☑ Tilt-able screen; one of the things I was longing for on the old RX100, this is one of my favourite upgrades by far!
☑ NFC (Near-field communications); I love this extra feature, by tapping the bottom of this camera onto your phone that has NFC enabled, it will connect them both together straight away.

As a professional photographer who mostly carries a 36 megapixel Nikon D800 SLR, I also needed a strong ultra-compact camera for those times when the big camera is just too much or I need to be inconspicuous in my shooting, and also for convenient personal/family use. For both uses, I find that the RX-100, Model 2 really exceeds all of my expectations.

Shortly after receiving it, I set up lab tests shooting the same objects at a range of ISO settings using 4 different cameras. I expected the Sony to surpass my older Canon compact, which it did easily. The surprise came when I compared the Sony images with my Nikon D7000 SLR, itself a very fine camera. The Sony RX100 M2 matched that fine camera at low ISO settings and surpassed it at ISO 1600 and above.

My primary camera is a Sony A65 with a G Series 70-300mm zoom, a macro prime, a wide angle prime and a 18-135mm kit lens. I shoot wild life, ultra marathons, sunsets, friend's weddings, events and anything else that takes my fancy. I keep buying point and shoot cameras because I love the idea of a pocket sized camera that is always ready. But the image quality is never good enough and I end up selling them. I read the reviews of the RX100 and decided to go all in on the RX100 II. Maybe this time I'd find a worthy compact camera to supplement my A65.

I got the Sony RX100 II on the day it was released (thanks Amazon). I had bought the Wasabi external charger and spare batteries from Amazon in anticipation, so I could start shooting immediately I got the RX100.

User experience is better than all other android phones because it is not loaded with crapware. It is easier to navigate and access the apps on the phone. However the phone seems to get hotter than other phones and I am unsure why? In addition the lack of extra storage and a headset is a untenable.

I have had many smartphones and this one is great, the best I had. Screen size and resolution (pixel density) are great. Much better than the old iPhone. And everything is flexible and unlocked. This is a real unleashed Android device.

Not depending on ANY operator is the best thing. I have 2 GB of music and there is still plenty of space in my phone. The product finishing is very high quality and this is the way to go. I can change SIMs when I travel and change operators without depending on their obscure tactics and terrible customer service. I don't care anymore. No more stupid plans.

As there appears to be mixed reviews of the 8.9' Fires - ones with 4G access and those without - to clarify, this review is for the 8.9" tablet with the 4G connectivity option.

To get the iPad comparison out of the way, I put this tablet side-by-side to my iPad 2 I use for work. Downloads were slightly faster and the video screen resolution and the colors were more vibrant on the Fire vs. the iPad 2.

I wasn't really in the market for another tablet, but my girlfriend ended up getting one for me so she got me on this one. I would like to say that this tablet reminds me of the first Motorola Droid smartphone that came out several years back. The phone jam packed a ton of bells & whistles into its hardware and software to give a lot of bang for your buck. This is what it feels like amazon has done with the Kindle Fire 8.9. They have put a lot of advanced hardware and innovative software, so for the average user, specially someone who absorbs a lot of media, you get a lot for the price. But just because you get a lot for the price, doesn't mean it is without its flaws. These shoes are by far my favorite I have run in. I run typically 35 to 45 miles a week and annually participate in half marathons and marathons. I had run for the past 4 years in the Mizuno Wave Creations and had been very satisfied. When the Prophecy 1 came out I thought they looked really cool but didn't see the need to stay away from something that had been working for so many years. WELL LET ME TELL YOU! STRAY AWAY FROM WHATEVER IS ON YOUR FEET AND INVEST IN YOURSELF! These shoes provide the most lightweight and supportive shoe I have ever ran in. On top of those great features the way the full wave technology works compared to the Wave creation is night and day. I recently began running again a few months back. Starting at a mile a day, quickly progressing to 4-5 miles every other day. During my rise in distance, i began feeling pain in different areas of my body, so i went out and bought a pair of Newton Distance S shoes, (great shoes) and the pains went away, but shortly after the pains left and i increased my speed, i started getting a very dull/deep horrible pain in my right shin/calf muscle. It would not go away, and running was becoming a chore. After much research, i purchased the Mizuno Prophecy 2, they are hands down, the most amazing shoe i have ever worn. I have only run in them 3 times, since i just bought them, and the shin/calf pain is not gone, but it does go away while i run, and even lessens when i do my daily job, etc... while i'm wearing them. I highly recommend them, for comfort, running and style.

This is my third pair of the wave prophecy and I've been incredibly happy with them. They run a little small, I have bought each pair about 1/2 size larger than I usually wear and they are perfect. I have found these to be great running shoes. I run about 15-20 miles / week and have worn these to train for several runs. They are lightweight but very durable, they hold up to a lot. I wore my last pair for almost 11 months, well over 500 miles with very little wear and are in fine shape for everyday wear, I just wanted a new pair for training runs. I'd highly recommend them.
Great service from this seller. Right on time and well packaged.

This pair of GEL-Noosa Tri 8's is my sixth pair of Noosas. While the Tri 6's will probably always be my favorites, I still like these shoes and prefer them to my two pairs of Tri 7's. These shoes are fairly light yet are supportive, which is important for me as I weigh around 220 pounds, and typically run about 40 minutes to an hour a day (I am a slow, noncompetitive runner, averaging 9-10 minute miles.) I like the mesh upper carried over from the Tri 7, and I do think the cushioning absorbs shock very well; there are two pairs of laces provided, the conventional pair of many hues, and a yellow pair of elastic laces. I don't care how long they take to don or doff and won't comment on that, but I can say that I find them comfortable to run in, though I find the position of the tongue a bit uncomfortable as it is sewn to the sidewall of the shoe. As with my other Noosas, I have cut the tongue loose which allows it to better center on my foot.

I've owned the Gel-Noosa Tri 7s and now own the Gel-Noosa Tri 8s. First the shoe is slightly lighter without being a minimalist shoe, which hasn't worked for me before. Coming out of T2, I found the only issue I had with the tongue was that it pulled slightly to the outside when I slipped it on. A quick tug to the center and it was perfect. After the race, I noticed that the way I had laced it caused to pull to the outside. I made an adjust before the next race and didn't experience the issue again. Great shoe and I get lots of compliments on the shoe.

This is an early review of these shoes, but so far I've really enjoyed them over the past 2-3 weeks. I previously owned two pairs of the Tri-7s. I'm about 6'2, 170-175 lbs and usually run about 7:30/miles.

I run pretty frequently, having competed in 4 half-marathons in my old Tri-7s, but I don't compete in triathlons, so I can't comment on their quality for such events. What I can say is that the shoe is very noticeably lighter. Although the ounces shaved off might not seemed significant from last year's shoes, you'll notice it quickly. Even though I owned a pair of the orange shoes and a pair of the green shoes, I actually prefer the appearance of these more. They're still colorful and glow-in the dark while not clashing with everything you wear quite as much.

I gave these shoes 5 stars simply because they really are the best shoes I have ever purchased. Not only are they stylish and go well with my scrubs and exercise clothes, they are sooooo comfy! I am an ASICS girl to begin with and have had many pairs in the past but these just feel better than all of the others.... Maybe because of the gel soles? I stand on my feet for long hours during the day and usually come home with an achy back and legs. However, after only one day of wearing these, I felt great after working all day-- no pain!

For reference: I wear a women's size 10 in other types of shoes besides sneakers. I have narrow feet, freakishly long toes, bony ankles and exaggerated arches. Because of the long second toe, I usually get a 10.5 in sneakers since sneakers dont have the same amount of room in the toe area as pumps, peep toes, or sandals.
