type="html">They say that time heals all wounds. Talking about feelings of loss and grief is supposed to make the pain go away. I am here to tell you that they are wrong. I recently lost my Garmin 60csx. I don't know where I lost him. I suppose he might have fallen out of my truck somewhere between Indiana and North Carolina. He was a trooper who never let me down. It's hard to keep up with because there is so  much else I have to do. My wife and I now have a 6 month old daughter and she takes up most of my free time. I will try and post more though.I have a geocaching trip planned with my dad this summer. We plan on hitting Soth Dakota, Wyoming, and Eastern Montana. She hit the casino while I spent the weekend fly-fishing and geocaching. Saturday, I spent most of the day on the water and it was cold. I had on waders, but the water temperature was such that it went right through the waders. Now, I was not wet, it was just cold. I enjoy colder weather because I can wear jeans and a big carhartt jacket. Wearing those clothes gives me most of the protection I need to go barreling through the woods and thorns and briars without much repercussion. It is remarkable how much things change with perspective. With my explorist 100, all the geocaches I would do seemed like an uphill battle from the beginning. Trying to get a signal with the accuracy usually being no better then 30 feet. It has been really busy at work and I just don’t have a lot of free time. Anyway, I think I convinced my wife, who happens to be 2.5 months pregnant, that upgrading my GPS is a good thing. Both geocaches are located in Kelly Road Park near Apex, in North Carolina. The first one I did was Did The Beaver Do It?. It was in a wooded area near a tennis court. I guess that would explain the 14 or so tennis balls in various states of decay that I saw as I made my way to the cache. It was ok, a nice break in the middle of the week. However, today I was told that I would need to change my day off to a different day. My options were Monday and Thursday. I already have two hidden on the trail but for my next one im going to make it a themed cache. What sort of theme? I just do not have the sensation anymore as if I need to get out there and go. I think part of it is just the fact that I am tired of living in North Carolina and want to go elsewhere and geocache there. North Carolina to me is uninteresting. It is a dirty, run down, crime and gang infested shitball of a city. Sure, that is the nuts and bolts of it, but to me it encompasses much more then that. I love seeing natures artwork, rocky landscapes, leaves covering a trail, a quiet stream meandering nowhere particular.
