Kandi Burress and Todd Tucker Make It Official! They's Married Now!

2014-04-05T21:15:00.000-05:00

Kandi Burress can officially say, "I's married now!"

[caption id="attachment_1179" align="aligncenter" width="609"] Via Instagram.com/KandiBurress[/caption]

The singer and Real Housewives of Atlanta star tied the knot with her beau, Todd Tucker yesterday evening. The two were introduced by co-star Phaedra Parks during the fourth season of the show after she was told that she would meet her husband during the ladies' infamous trip to Africa.

The ceremony took place in Atlanta and guest were expected to wear purple. Some of the ~~BRIDEmaids~~ bridesmaids included fellow Xscape member Tameka "Tiny" Harris, rapper and Love and Hip Hop star Rasheeda Frost, singer Fantasia, and of course lady cupid Phaedra Parks.

I'm so proud of Mama Joyce! She let Kandi and Todd get married in peace!

At least that's what I am hoping.

[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="500"] Via StraightFromTheA.com[/caption]

According to Straight From the A, the may have been some drama a few days before the wedding:

Mama Joyce was there and actually walked Kandi down the aisle. While I’ve heard Mama Joyce threw up her hands in disgust when asked ‘who gives this bride,’ at least she walked away without a confrontation and allowed the wedding to proceed...

A few things I’ve ‘heard’ along the way… Todd’s mom got into it with Mama Joyce a few days before the wedding and reportedly called her a messy b*tch. I’m not sure if the in-laws cleared the air before Kandi finally walked down the aisle, but I do know that Kandi and Todd did finally say ‘I do’ and it’s a done deal.

I mean...there's always going to be drama at a wedding. Trust me, there was plenty at mine. All that matters is the two people making the commitment to each other.

Not too much was revealed due to the wedding being recorded for another spin-off for Kandi on Bravo. It is expected to air later this year.

Congrats to the couple. I hope you two have many years together!

Cast of Lion King Treats Virgin Australia Passengers to 'Circle of Life' Performance!

2014-04-02T12:34:00.000-05:00

Here is something you don't get to experience everyday.

Passengers on a Virgin Australia were in for a special treat when the cast of The Lion King performed the Circle of Life as the plane was boarding for lift off.

Luckily someone recorded the video and this was posted to the Disney on Broadway Youtube page:

After an amazing day at THE LION KING Brisbane season launch announcement, members of our Australian cast felt so elated they decided to sing the 'Circle of Life' prior to take off on their flight back to Sydney!

Check it out below:

For some reason there seemed to be a few grumpy faces as the performance went on (But why? That is an epic song!), but after the flight attendant announced that those singing were the actual cast I saw a few frowns turn upside down.

I told my husband that we have to go see this one day with our daughter. This definitely a once in a lifetime experience that everyone should have!

Did this bring a smile to your face like it did mine?

Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion Taping Started With a Bang! Porsha Williams Allegedly 'Beat the S***' Out of Kenya Moore

2014-03-28T10:17:00.000-05:00

There was some drama last night during the taping of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion.

After two seasons of tension Porsha Williams had enough of beauty queen cast mate, Kenya Moore. The Flatline singer reportedly beat down Moore after her antics went too far. According to Radar Online this is how it all went down:

“Kenya brought sex toys to the reunion taping to taunt Porsha about Kordell’s sexuality and she couldn’t take it anymore,” an eyewitness told Radar about the Real Housewives of Atlanta drama.

“Porsha beat the sh*t out of her! She is a little thing and she jumped on her and pulled her down to the ground by her hair, and Kenya doesn’t have a weave, it is all her own hair.”

“Porsha was sick of her saying that she was Kordell’s beard and those toys were the last straw. Porsha is a skinny thing but she was whopping her butt!”

As NeNe Leakes, Phaedra Parks, Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey and Andy Cohen watched in horror, the source said the security guards immediately tried to break up the fight.

“They couldn’t get Porsha off Kenya!” the source told Radar.

This story does seem possible. Moore has been taunting Williams as well as cast mate Phaedra Parks for the last two seasons. I'm not surprised that Parks didn't jump in. However I am sure that she wouldn't mind helping Porsha if Kenya decides to press charges.

This reunion may top them all. Do you believe this craziness or is it as fake as both of their African princes? Will you be watching?

Evelyn Lozada Slams Wendy Williams for "Cash Register" Remark!

2014-03-26T14:58:00.000-05:00

Now we all know Evelyn Lozada does not play!

On Monday talk show host, Wendy Williams, congratulated the Basketball Wives star on the birth of her son, Carl Jr., with a little shade referring to him as "cash register."

Needless to say Evelyn was not amused. She took to social media to address the situation throwing in some little known Dulce secrets about Williams husband...

She posted this to her Twitter account:

You know @WendyWilliams, I never bother anyone. I even bought you a beautiful bouquet of flowers congratulating your broadway debut...

Since u want me 2 open Dulce n LA. Maybe ur man can come 2 that store & purchase shoes 4 another woman like he did @ my Miami store. Bloop!

Oh...BTW...he purchased the Casadei suede over the knee boots triple platform just in case you wanted to know. #DontComeForMe #INeverBotherU

#NowPutThatOnHotTopics ✌️

Tsk, Tsk, Tsk...Wendy has to leave these feisty women alone. I guess we can add Evelyn to the list of people including NeNe Leakes and Omarosa that won't be coming on Wendy's show anytime soon.

Evelyn's future husband does have a nice contract, but Evelyn has a few hustles going on herself. I'm sure she didn't need to trap Crawford to get some funds. This seems to be true love going on.

Do you agree with Evelyn responding to Wendy Williams?

Phaedra Parks "Rich People Problems" Spinoff is Cancelled! Blame Apollo

2014-03-11T15:26:00.000-05:00

While things are looking up for one Atlanta housewife from Athens, it seems as though the other has hit a rough patch.

According to Wendy Williams, entertainment lawyer Phaedra Parks' spin-off show, Rich People Problems, is getting the ax from Bravo.

Parks is currently on the network's Real Housewives of Atlanta reality television series.

Apparently the abrupt decision to cancel the show has to do with husband's legal woes for his alleged fraud charges.

I hope this isn't true. I hate when people lose out on a great opportunity especially because of someone else. Besides who wouldn't want to see the celebs she represents in court as well as the antics of her adorable son Ayden!

Naomi Campbell and NeNe Leakes Show Each Other How to Strut and Shade [Video]

2014-03-11T13:25:00.000-05:00

I'm not really feeling this new NeNe Leakes that decided to show up on season 6 of Real Housewives of Atlanta, but I'm not mad at her for using her platform to get her more gigs in Hollywood.

Not only is the Athens, Georgia native on this season of ABC's Dancing With the Stars, she also appeared on Naomi Campbell's The Face.

In the promo below, Campbell teaches the modern day housewife how to strut on the runway while Leakes teaches the supermodel how to throw the ultimate shade.

SNL's newest cast member, Sasheer Zamata, joins Jay Pharoah and Kenan Thompson to perform 28 Reasons to Hug a Black Guy Today. 27 of the 28 reasons are pretty obvious on why you should. Check out the video below:

In Case You Missed It: Video of President Obama's 2014 State of the Union Address

2014-01-29T15:19:00.000-06:00

Last year wasn't the best year for President Obama...

Many major bills that he wanted to pass were shut down by congress. Last night the President addressed the nation with plans to improve the welfare of our country. Topics discussed included immagration, jobs, energy, manufacturing, the economy and unemployment.

On the progress of the economy of the nation President Obama had this to say:

Today, after four years of economic growth, corporate profits and stock prices have rarely been higher, and those at the top have never done better. But average wages have barely budged. Inequality has deepened. Upward mobility has stalled. The cold, hard fact is that even in the midst of recovery, too many Americans are working more than ever just to get by – let alone get ahead. And too many still aren't working at all.

President Obama wants to work with Congress on making these changes, but he doesn't mind using his executive powers to get the job done.

“The question for everyone in this chamber, running through every decision we make this year, is whether we are going to help or hinder this progress. For several years now, this town has been consumed by a rancorous argument over the proper size of the federal government. It’s an important debate – one that dates back to our very founding. But when that debate prevents us from carrying out even the most basic functions of our democracy – when our differences shut down government or threaten the full faith and credit of the United States – then we are not doing right by the American people...I’m eager to work with all of you. But America does not stand still and neither will I. So wherever and whenever I can take steps without legislation to expand opportunity for more Americans families, that’s what I’m going to do.”

Check out the full speech below:

How do you feel about his speech? Do you agree with his plans for the economy?

Did He Do It? New Jersey Governor Chris Christie Accused of Bridge Scandal!

2014-01-09T14:42:00.000-06:00

Someone call Olivia Pope! New Jersey's Governor Chris Christie is going to need some help getting out of this scandal!

As I was up waiting to watch the encore of last night's new episode of American Horror Story: Coven (great show by the way), I happened to click through the channels to see Anderson Cooper's show on CNN talking about everyone's favorite bipartisan Governer. However this story may change your mind.

Allegedly Governor Christie's office ordered to close lanes in Fort Lee, NJ causing major traffic jams on the George Washington Bridge, one of the busiest bridges. It is claimed that the lane closings were payback to the city's democratic mayor's refusal to endorse Christie. As CNN reported, Governor Christie was the "best hope" for Republicans to win the White House in 2016.

Christie claims that he was unaware of his camp being involved in this sticky situation. An investigation has been opened to get to what really happened. However Ft. Lee's Mayor, Mark Sokolich had this to say on Wolf Blitzer's show:

Do you believe him? Is this going to give Hillary Clinton the win for 2016? Comment and share you thoughts below.

Kim Kardashian Makes Fan's Night By Inviting Her to Sit With Her During Yeezus Concert!

2013-12-08T00:12:00.000-06:00

You know that feeling you get when someone famous tweets you back on Twitter? Imagine a tweet inviting you to sit with them in the VIP section at a concert!

[caption id="attachment_1016" align="aligncenter" width="407"] Photo via Twitter
www.twitter.com/myleezakardash[/caption]

That's exactly what happened to one of Kim Kardashian's fans on Friday night during her fiance's Yeezus concert stop in New Orleans. The fan, a 19 year old girl with the twitter name @MyleezaKardash tweeted that she was looking for Kim before the show. Kardashian saw the tweet and told the fan to DM her so that her security could bring her and her friend to the VIP section.

The happy teen tweeted the exclusive details to her exciting night on twitter. She also noted that Solange Knowles and her son Juelz were nearby as well. After the concert Kim invited the girls to come backstage to meet Kanye. Myleeza was super excited and said that he was nice.

See there people? I'm not the only person that thinks that Kanye West is still nice!

Later that night Kim sent a tweet out to Myleeza saying this:

@MyleezaKardash I had the best time, so happy you did too! Xo — Kim Kardashian (@KimKardashian) December 6, 2013

The super stoked fan ended her story with this:

"Kim said, 'Bye Myleeza! Thank you guys so much for coming!' I said, 'No, thank YOU sis! I love you! And she said, 'I love you too!' THE END! BEST MOMENT OF ALL MY 19 YEARS OF LIVING."

Whether it was sincere or a great PR move, Kim Kardashian did a very sweet gesture over the weekend. It's the holidays and the Christmas season always makes us all cheerful (except for some on Black Friday)! What have you guys done to make someone's day?

Tamar Braxton Releases Two Music Videos "All the Way Home" and "She Can Have You"

2013-12-05T11:56:00.000-06:00

Finally Tamar Braxton has released not one, but TWO music videos after that "Hot Sugar" fiasco!

"All the Way Home" premiered on 106th and Park last night. The ballad's visual shows a sexier condensed version of an episode "Tamar and Vince" with Tamar annoyed by Vince and then turning around and flipping the script on him (Kind of like Beyonce's "If I Were a Boy" video). It's very cute!

Side note: Did you know this song was written by fellow singer Sevyn Streeter?
