~Celebrity Adorned~ Janelle Monae May 2013 Essence Magazine Cover Earrings....

2013-04-04T19:27:00.001-07:00

Hey Everyone!!

Today's Celebrity Adorned is the fabulous Janelle Monae and her May 2013 Essence Magazine Cover. Essence really did this one. The whole look is flawless while keeping genuine to Janelle Monae's esthetic.

Of course the earrings were the first thing I zoomed in on!! I did a little ( well ALOT) of research....

and after search the official Chanel page, some other jewelry sites, I am guessing that the earrings are Vintage Chanel Button Earrings.

The look and style correlates with what Chanel done in the past. I'm sure they are authentic being they are on a celebrity on a cover of a national magazine. Plus, the earrings are fitting for Ms. Monae!!!

I will keep my search a going and if anyone has any details, let me know in the comments. Currently at the date of this post, the May edition of Essence is not on stands and I'm able to confirm via print copy.

~Jewelry Haul~ Lion Head Jewelry, Rose Gold, Chunky Rings, Designer Inspired.....

2013-03-25T18:27:00.001-07:00

Hey Everyone,

I stopped by one of my favorite jewelry spots, This N' That in Spartanburg for a little jewelry haul. I always go in with a budget and always go over. smh.

Here are some goodies I picked up:

Nerdy Owls!!!

I don't DO elephants. Nothing elephants!!! Nope. But I thought these were....um cute. So I got pink and green pairs!

Chunky charm bracelets and stackable and layering pieces.....

The Lion Head jewelry trend is coming to the low end spots, just like the trend of beaded stack bracelets and basketball wives earrings came to the beauty supply stores and the low end spots.

I got two of the yellow to stack together and I shouldve got two of the rainbow colored ones. I like to get multiple sets of seed bead necklaces to stack and make it look fuller.

These rings were behind the counter when I spotted them. This picture does no justice. I remember my Aunt Maxine wearing this real emerald ring once that looked like these. These rings remind me of her ring.:)

Everything was a $1.

~Jewelry Haul~ mark. Cosmetics Marrakesh Collection Jewelry....

2013-03-20T18:54:00.005-07:00

Hey Everyone!!!

I'm bringing you some great pieces from mark. by Avon. I absolutely love jewelry from Avon and mark. as well. They are always on trend and the quality is great.

This bracelet and earrings are part of a Marrakesh inspired collection available on online and by representative in April 2013. I was sent the both pieces to show my Rural Glamour and Dazed + Adorned family. Please go over to Rural Glamour Beauty + Lifestyle to check out the makeup that is also in this collection! Click HERE to see that collection.

Flair For The Exotic Bracelet

Swing By Earrings

Flair For the Exotic Bracelet is beautiful! The fit is not tight or snug, if you have small wrists, its almost bangle like. However, I have big wrists so the stretching was perfect for me.

Swing By Earrings are gorgeous. Perfect weight, very light, perfect hang, not to long, not to short. These earrings would be gorgeous with any length of hair.

So what do you think of these pieces? Let me know!!

Jamie

Disclosure: I was sent these products for consideration. I was not paid for this post and all opinions are honest.

~Jewelry Haul~ Statement Necklace, Stack Bracelets, etc....

2013-03-08T13:58:00.001-08:00

Hey Everyone!!!

I did a little jewelry hauling at the BSS and a local boutique in my hometown. The first picture are the pieces I got at the BSS for only a $1 a piece. When I organized my jewelry last weekend i noticed I had no yellow necklaces. Lol! I got a bib necklace at the BSS for a $1.

The second photo are pieces from local boutique almost pink. The sunglasses wee $9 and the cute earrings were a $1 a piece . I'm starting to collect for the spring and summer, so you will see a lot more brighter pieces being hauled by me!!

She might not possess this most highest level of couth and class, but the girl can accessorize!!! Looking for inspired pieces as we speak!!

~Haul~ Huge Jewelry/Accessory Haul!!!

2013-02-18T15:21:00.002-08:00

Hey Everyone!!

I did a bit of hauling during last week and decided to present it collectively as one post. These are pre and post Valentine and Valentine's Day gifts to myself!! Yes ma'am!!!

Beauty Supply Store( BSS):

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Cato Purchase #1

These necklaces, earrings and sunglasses were on the clearance. They had TONS of statement necklaces, it was crazy.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Belk

I got this ring on clearance 40% off that red price. Anyone who lives near a Belk Dept. Store knows that New Directions jewelry is not the lowest priced so this was steal for a great quality piece of costume jewelry.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cato Purchase #2

I went back to Cato two days later and got belts and necklaces on clearance too....

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Almost Pink

Almost Pink is a boutique in my town, Spartanburg and Gaffney. They only carry $1 jewelry at the Union location but have other full price pieces that are worth the buy. These necklaces were are $1 a set.

This necklace set has been there since last spring year and was in there clearance section, 1/2 off $13.

These earrings were a $1 a set too.:)
