Shortcut keys in tally

When you are working in tally its good practice to use keyboard shortcut. If you use keyboard instated of mouse you can save lots of precious time. Here some shortcut key to be use in tally
1. in every menu screen one charter is highlighted with red colour for easy access of menu like in gateway of tally if you want to go display menu then press "d" if you want to create accounting voucher press "v" and so on
2. Create group, ledger, stock group, stock item, unit, or any master in any voucher entry screen by pressing ALT+C
3. Edit any selected master in voucher entry screen by pressing CTRL + ENTER.
4. Delete any selected master in voucher entry screen by pressing CTRL + ENTER and after display master alteration screen press ALT+D. in day book use ALT+D to delete a voucher
5. Add a voucher in day book or in any report press ALT+A
6. Insert a voucher after current voucher in day book on any report ALT+I
7. Email a report by pressing ALT+M in all report screens
8. Export a report by pressing ALT+E in all report screens
9. Print a voucher or report by pressing ALT+P
10. Select printer after display print box by pressing ALT+S

Want To upgrade to your tally Release to 3 Beta?

Actually our suggestion is wait for final release. Currently available stable release is Release 2.14. But that's not true this release give a error "out of name space" and tally closed. Mostly it occurs in sales and purchase entry but you have to face it in another voucher type also.

If you by mistake upgrade your release to 2.14 or say 2.13 then you are in trouble.

You can install Release 2.12 at this time because this is a stable release in my opinion.

Tally 9 Release 3 Beta Build 90 is also having printing issues like in multi account printing, after printing certain number of pages it print blank pages.

So in our opinion right now to switch in release 2.12, wait for the final release of 3 and then upgrade your release.
