I just wanted to share with you the cute cookie holders that I made to hold the Santa sugar cookies I made. It can be as simple or as fancy as you like. It's basically covering a DVD/CD Sleeve with patterned paper and then adding embellishments. All punches used are SU! punches.

Supplies: DVD/CD sleeve, Naughty or Nice patterned paper, ribbon, flower rhinestone, rhinestone, 1" punch, 3/4" punch, 1 1/4" punch, 1 3/8" punch, ornament punch, curly label punch, circle die cut, glitter, Chocolate Chip and Ivory CS, Real Red ink and distressing ink, Lots of Thoughts SU! Stamp Set.

DVD/CD sleeve, butterfly punch, ornament punch, heart to heart punch, scallop oval punch, large oval punch, small oval punch(discontinued SU! punch), extra large oval punch, Naughty or Nice patterned paper, Chocolate Chip CS, ribbon, distressing ink, Old Olive ink, rhinestone flower, Chirstmas Punch SU! stamp set.

DVD/CD sleeve, Naughty or Nice patterned paper, ribbon, twine, curly label punch, Chocolate Chip CS, Real Red and distressing ink, Christmas Punch SU! stamp set.

Halloween Paper Rosette Freebie

I have a freebie and tutorial available today to make this cute little rosette. These are super easy to make. You can download the below printable. I have supplied you with a strip of paper and two circles.

Download HERE

Supplies: Epson's Premium Presentation paper, scissors, glue, glue gun, scorer, and ribbon.

Instructions

Print out printable. I use Epson's Premium Presentation Paper. Cut out pieces and ink edges.

Score paper every 1/2".

Accordian fold your paper.

Make sure folds match up and adhere ends together with glue.

Lay flower on surface and push edges together and out to form the flower.

Glue black circle to back of flower. You will have to hold it a bit until the glue adheres.

Glue boo circle to front.

Loop ribbon.

Adhere to back of flower with glue gun.

And here's your finished flower:)

Nook Cover Pattern

I have something new and different in my store today. I have designed a pattern to make a Nook cover. You can use traditional scrapbooking paper or digital paper and print it. The width of the cover is over 11 inches, so if you are using digital paper you will need to have a printer that prints 12 inches or have it printed else where. It comes in Personal Use for $2.50 or Commerical Use for $3.50. The Commerical Use pattern allows you to make items for sale with it. The pattern is a printable 8.5 x 11 jpeg pattern with photo instructions.

Supplies: Nook Cover Pattern, clear Transparent Contact Paper, 3 pieces 12x12 patterned paper, mat board, 3/8 inch elastic, crystal effects from SU!, eyelets, Cropadile or eyelet setter, sewing machine/thread, bone folder and scraper, glue sticks, glue gun and glue sticks, corner rounder punch, paper cutter. Patterned paper by Basic Gray Oxford Collection and American Crafts Travel Collection.

New Release Bottle and Box Printable and a Freebie

Create this pretty hybrid gift using a recycled Star Bucks Frappuccino coffee box and bottles and my new release Bottle and Box Printable. Printable was created with my Summer Fiesta kit. It includes full instructions with photos and 11 printable jpeg pages that are 8.5 x 11 or smaller. Tags and labels are created with salsa, margarita or generic images and box sides are in 2 different patterned papers. So make some homemade margaritas, salsa or your favorite goodie. Then package it up in this cute little decorated box and with matching bottles.

For best results when printing please use a high quality paper like Epson Premium Presentation paper. Altered Valentines Frame with Photoshop Embroidery

I had so much fun making this valentines frame. I used My Mind's Eye paper called State of the Heart by Jen Wilson with loads of ribbon, chipboard pieces, wire, jute, pearls, heart rhinestones, and punches. Then to design my redwork embroidery I used photoshop and then traced it onto my fabric with and red permanent marker. For the large rose I made a template for it in photoshop. I plan on posting a tutorial on this shortly. But for now, here are my pictures of it:)

Valentines Treat Bags

Happy Valentines Day! I thought I would share with you the Valentine Treat Bags I made for my son to hand out to all his classmates. I knew I wanted to do treat pull bags with popcorn, but after I got to thinking about making 20 of these and all the ribbon, card stock and double sided tape...EEKS way too expensive! So...I decided to do away with the whole pull part to save on the ribbon and instead of using card stock I used plain brown lunch sacks. And since I used such a light weight paper I was able to use a glue stick to secure the paper bag together. Check out how I made these cute little bags below and have a wonderful Valentines Day!

Supplies: Brown paper lunch sack, sicssors, glue stick, double sided tape, ribbon, stamped or digital image, cardstock, sponge and ink for distressing, SU! round 1 1/4 and horizontal slot punches, Scor-Pal, and popcorn.

Cut off bottom of bag at 8 inches.

With sicssors cut down the side of the bag then cut at 9 1/4 with your paper cutter. I cut the section off with the half circle cut out in it.

With glue stick, place glue along left and bottom sides of bag. Place popcorn on the bag and basically "wrap it". I glued the right side first then the left.

After gluing pull popcorn bag out and punch a half circle at the top of the bag.

To make it look like a sealed bag I scored 3 lines at the bottom.

Now place popcorn back in bag.

Get your digital or stamped image and punch on the center of the left side for your ribbon.

Place ribbon through the back side of the hole and around the back of the bag.

Tie a bow.

Place a small piece of double sided tape on back of image to secure right side.

and now you have some inexpensive treat bags!

Tealight Cake, Explosion Box Printable, and a Drawing!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to share with you a new release that I have---Tealight Cake and Explosion Box Printable sold exclusively at the Digiridoo Shop. I originally made these tealight cakes with traditional papers and then decided to make up a digital printable to simplify it. You don't need to worry about measuring hardly anything! Printable is designed to fit 4 3/4 to 5 1/8 inch tealights and files are in both jpeg and psd, so you can use them whether you are a traditional or digital scrapper.

Supplies for Cake and Explosion Box: For Cake-battery operated tealight candle, premium presentation paper, double sided tape, scissors, SU! Crystal Effects--used for glue, SU! punches, rhinestones, destressing ink and sponge, glue stick, glitter glue.

For Explosion Box-Card Stock, glue stick, corner punch, scorer, SU! stamp set Birthday Bliss, Martha Stewart and SU! punches.

Here's a few things that I've made with the Alpha Designer Blocks.

It's taken me a while to figure out what I wanted to do with my wall in my living room. I knew that I wanted something to cover a large area and I didn't want just a big rectangle on it. So I came up with this. I purchased the circle and square frames at Target. I bought 2 of them and flipped one upside down to fit next to the other frame. The small shelves I purchased at Kohl's and the metal floral I picked up at Hobby Lobby. When I purchased the picture frames they had these pretty green colored pictures in them and I loved they way they looked on my wall. So, that is where I got the inspiration to design and create the Alpha Designer Blocks.

Supplies: Designer Alpha Blocks Digital Kit, HP Premium Presentation Paper, black Stazon, glass bottle, ribbon, rhinestones, wire, black acrylic paint, sandpaper, glue stick, 2x2 wooden blocks.

Stampin Up! Supplies: Old Olive card stock, flower punch, Sizzix Beautiful Wings Embosslits, Sizzix Birds & Blooms Bird, 1 1/4 square punch, 1 3/8 square punch.

Here's another little project I made. I picked up this wooden calendar set at my local Craft Warehouse. I love the way this turned out:) So, I've included a little freebie...

Supplies: Designer Alpha Blocks digital kit, HP Premium Presentation Paper, wooden calendar kit at Craft Warehouse, black Stazon, flower, rhinestone, Studio G Series 20 clear stamp, Scrappy Cat clear stamps, black acrylic paint, sandpaper, glue stick, metal clip, black card stock.

Stampin! Up Supplies: Old Olive card stock, 1 1/4 punch, 1 3/8 punch, scallop Sizzix die cut, scallop punch.

And here's the freebie...all 12 months so you can make your own wooden calendar. Enjoy!

My New Calendar for 2010...and 2011

I love making a new calendar every year and personalizing it with all of my favorite photos. This year I used all of my own digital goodies from the past year. Here's the finished product below. The calendars fit nicely into a 3.5 x 5 acrylic magnetic or stand alone frame. I made two versions of this calendar. You can check them out below or head to the Digiridoo Scraps store to purchase the Do-It-Yourself 2 Year Calendar or the 2010 Photo Calendar .

This version is only for 2010 and is ready to add pictures, print and it will be ready for your office or refrigerator. I've also included some doodles that you can add to circle or mark out special days on your calendar.

This version is for 2010 and 2011 with separate monthly calendars, monthly titles and doodles.
