I had come across Bianca & Dani's blog a few months ago and was immediately drawn to their unique and playfully eclectic fashion, so you can very well imagine my delight when I saw those two appear in front of me. I must say that I have never seen anyone with such playful and quirky style as these two. And these girls are definitely having a lot of fun at it! (that rainbow on the first shot is one of the reason I love my new lens! it creates beautiful unexpected flares when used "à contre jour" and I think that a rainbow suits these two girls perfectly~)

I get the feeling that we're all getting tired of the winter that's been dragging for a bit too long this year...It particularly shows in the lack of color this season, with way too much black for my taste, and I must admit that I'm following the exact same pattern...the lack of sun and heat is draining all my inspiration.
It was therefore really refreshing to see Monika, with her bleached blond hair, red lipstick, and colorful top emerging from underneath her vintage black coat.

Fashion Illustrated ~ Loblaws is Hip ~

For some unknown reason, I keep noticing really fashionable people at Loblaws, whether it's at the Church St. or Queen St. locations. Is Loblaws a hipster magnet? Unforunately, I didn't figure out a way yet to approach people for photoshoots in a grocery store...not to mention the ugly yellow tone you get from shooting indoors with analog. Luckily, Qin was with me and once again did her little magic. Here's the result, I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

I think it's a great idea to give a little twist to an all black outfit by mixing different textures, adding more depth and details to the whole look. Beautifully done~

There are days where I can walk for 3 hours non-stop and not find anything eye catching, until I meet that one person who will completely stand out and remind me what I'm doing all this for.

Lucas was exactly that! He was just so perfect from head to toe, with a great laid back soft grunge look, gorgeous hair of a rich burgundy brown color, and strickingly beautiful eyes. And to top it all, he was such a sweetheart! I hope to run into you again one of these days Lucas! Was a pleasure to photograph you~

What particularly stroke me in her were the minimalistic yet framed lines of her outfit, with this adorable Kenzo top throwing in a punch of color ~ a hint to the upcoming Spring season. Hip and chic in its simplicity.
