Jani Lane (born John Kennedy Oswald, February 1, 1964 - August 11, 2011) was an American recording artist and vocalist, lead singer, poet and main songwriter for the band Warrant glam metal.

Lane was born as John Kennedy Oswald on February 1, 1964 in Akron, Ohio, the youngest of five children of Robert and Eileen Oswald and his younger brother to Marcy, Eric Michel and Victoria. With his older brother (Eric Oswald), as an experienced guitar player already, and learned to play drums at age four with his brother leadership and teaches him, then he was introduced to the bands, his sister, Vicki (Ley), and his parents, Bob and Eileen. Lane played the drums under the name "Mitch Dynomite" in clubs by age 11 ("Mitch Dynomite" as a drummer in the credits for the newest and best CD to Order). For many years, Lane sometimes jump over kit to play with his band, and he played drums in various formats and concerts.
At age 11, his older brothers and sisters went to college or marriage, except for Vicki. Between his parents and his sister, he went around as an amateur drummer protege ", making quite a name for himself. Not a shy boy, he took over the family home inside and out with his drum equipment and fellow musicians, until he graduated from high school . Although he chose the path of the most difficult character, he worked throughout high school to get his equipment drum, setting an excellent example to his friends and colleagues that he is not afraid to do anything for her dream to become a song writer / entertainer.
It was during this time that Lane knew that his true desire to not only play in a band, but actually sing their songs forward, not hidden behind the drum kit.
After graduating from high school field in Mogadore, Ohio, in 1982, Lane joined the band Cyren, featuring vocalist Skip Hammonds, guitarist John Weakland, bassist Don Hoover (and later, Rusty Fohner), with Lane on drums. Having made a name for himself and his team at Ohio State, he moved to Florida in 1983, Lane played the drums for Dorian Gray, Plain Jane to the formation of a future partner, Stephen Warrant (Chamberlin) Sweet. It was during this time that Lane took the stage name of "Jani Lane." Lane was named after his German grandparents pronunciation and spelling, as Johnny "Jani". They said that as the Ur-Ni and that stuck. While playing the drums with Dorian Gray, Lane began vocal training with vocal coach of Central Florida / coach, Ron Feldman (who remained friends with Lane until his death, and remains connected to his immediate family and to this day). Feldman introduced Lane to Creative Engineering, Inc in Orlando, where he worked as a programmer animatronic character, Dook LaRue, rock drummer, fire explosion. His vocal debut was made in Fern Park Station in Fern Park, Florida.
Lane and sweet later moved to Los Angeles, California, where they took various odd jobs to survive. Struggling to make ends meet as a musician, Lane resorted to working in the pornographic video store.
By 1986, Plain Jane began to appear regularly in clubs in Los Angeles. Eric Turner, who founded the Order in July 1984, was impressed with the lyrics Plain Jane and vocal performance, and suggested that Lane and sweet, to join his group.

After creating a chain of fame on the club, the order began to attract the attention of record companies. After an unsuccessful transaction & M Records for his contribution to the soundtrack to Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, the band signed with Columbia Records. The case of Colombia came through partnership in the warrant and manager Tom Hullet (known for his work with The Beach Boys, Elvis Presley, and others). Tom Lane became a mentor and friend until his death from cancer in 1993.
As the lead vocalist with the warrant, Lane has written three Top 40 singles: "Heaven", "Down Boys" and "Sometimes she cries," the debut album Dirty Rotten Filthy Warrant Stinking Rich which peaked at number 10 on the Billboard 200. And three more Top 40 singles: "Cherry Pie", "I Saw Red" and "Uncle Tom's Cabin" from the second album, Cherry Pie, which peaked at number 7 on the Billboard 200.Lane also co-wrote and performed with the warrant for the song "Power" in 1992 the film Gladiator.

Lane left Warrant in March 1993 after critics Dog Eat Dog group entry which peaked at number 25 on the Billboard 200. He rejoined the band in September 1994, helping the team secure a new record with Tom Lipsky of CMC International. The group then recorded Ultraphobic in 1995, the belly to belly, in 1996, and Greatest Latest in 1999 and the album cover under the influence in 2001.
Due to personal and business disputes, Lane left Warrant in 2004. In January 2008, the group agent, William Morris Agency has published new photos of Lane with a prominent place, confirming his return to the group. It was the first time that all the original members were in the group since 1992. The first show of the original members were all in May 2008 in Nashville. The warrant is then carried out a series of concerts in the summer of 2008, but by September 2008, the warrant and Lane agreed to move forward separately, because of "too much water under the bridge." Order and continued to serve as Lane Lane's songs live and Lane continued to write for himself and other artists.

Lane lent his vocals to numerous CD tribute during the beginning of the year 2000 and released his solo effort, Back Down To One in 2003 and in Europe (2006) in the U.S. Immortal / Sidewinder Records. Lane also had success with Metal Mania VH1 Stripped disks, where an acoustic version of "I Saw Red" is on Disc 1, and swinging acoustic version of "Cherry Pie" is on disc 2.
Lane was involved in actions in the early 1990s. He made a brief appearance in the cage of fear, but also appeared in the high-Strung in 1991.
Between 1997 and 2000, a demo version of Lane's solo material started surfacing on the Internet, with some application on eBay has reached an estimated $ US100.00 per copy. The project called Jabberwocky, represents a significant departure from previous musical works Lane. CD was never officially released.
Lane's official debut solo album, Back Down to one, was released on June 17, 2003 at Reporting Z. On board "power pop" sound that was more closely associated with the sound than a warrant for the unreleased Jabberwocky project.
In August 2004, Lane left the Bad Boys of metal tour after only eight shows.
Lane contributed vocals on the track "Bastille Day" and "2112 Overture / Temples of Syrinx" for the Magna Carta in 2005 Rush Division tribute album.
In autumn 2004, Lane helped the vocals on the first ever song theme of the novel The Devil of Shakespeare, by author, Billy McCarthy, along with the JY from Styx, Ron Flynt 20/20 Chip Z'nuff of Enuff Z 'Nuff.
In 2005, Lane was featured on Celebrity Fit VH1 Club 2.
Carey Kelly Lane has written a song for Alice Cooper, titled "The one who left." It was recorded by Cooper in his 2008 recordings, Along Came Spider. Lane has also completed work on his side project, Saints Underground. The project also includes Bobby Blotzer and Robbie Crane (as of Ratt) and Keri Kelli (with Alice Cooper). Their album, Love Sin, Hate the sinner, was released April 22, 2008.
In the summer of 2010, Lane went on tour with Great White, filling in for singer Jack Russell, who was recuperating after surgery after suffering internal complications.

Lane led his parents as "go to the people" in his personal life. Talking about his parents, he talked about his mother, who was the second cousin of Clark Gable, as "his most reliable source of advice," his father, a multilingual author, as having a "significant impact on my creative, spiritual, 'free thinking' side. "Lane's parents have died, and (in 1995, Robert and Eileen in 2004). Speaking of the death of his mother, Lane was quoted as saying:" I still have and never will be, in connection with the death of my mother. "
Jani met his mentor and manager, Tom Hewlett (who also managed Beach Boys, Led Zeppelin, Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix, Moody Blues), in 1988. Tom was responsible for the first transaction record and play Lane's almost a "father-like" role in the early days of Jani. Tom died of cancer in 1993, leaving Jani in a state of "uncertainty career" through the rest of the '90s. Yani has publicly stated (referring to his parents and Hewlett), "I miss all three of them so much! All of them were close friends, sources of unconditional love and support and helped to preserve its moral compass in the right direction! "
In 1990, while filming the video for the single Warrant "Cherry Pie", Lane met Bobby Brown model. By July 1991 the couple were married, and in January 1992, they welcomed their first child, a daughter, Taylar Jane Lane. In 1994, in the midst of a group of trouble, Jani and Bobby were divorced. [5] Lane married his second wife, Rowanne Brewer, in 1996. In 1997 the couple welcomed their daughter, Madison Michelle Lane. Brewer Lane and later divorced. Jani married his third wife, Kimberly Nash, 13 March 2010 and was separated from her at the time of his death.

August 11, 2011, Lane was found dead at the Comfort Inn in Woodland Hills, California. He was 47 years old. Lane left his former wife, Kimberly, brother, Eric, three sisters, Marcine Williams, Michelle Robinson and Victoria Oswald-Ley, the daughter from his first marriage, Taylar Lane, a daughter from his second marriage, Madison Lane, and two stepdaughters, Ryan and Brittany.

As the sun set Monday, the thick plumes of smoke rose across the London skyline, from the northeast and south, for the third night running. For the first time in three decades, London is burning.

The small crowds of very young men and women, of every skin colour, typically dressed in almost identical hooded sweatshirts, were on the main streets of the mainly poor neighbourhoods along the city’s northeastern, southern and western boundaries, engaged in running skirmishes with police, looting hundreds of shops, setting dozens of buildings and houses ablaze.

The violence spread Monday night outside London, with serious eruptions of violence in Birmingham and Liverpool, but the scale of events in the British capital was unprecedented, and utterly overwhelmed the city’s 32,000 police. Almost exactly a year before the city plays host to the Olympic Games, the conflagration has raised dark fears for the city’s security.

Police called in hundreds of reinforcements and volunteer police officers— and made a rare decision to deploy armoured vehicles in some of the worst-hit districts — but still struggled to keep pace with the chaos unfolding at flashpoints across London, in the central city of Birmingham, the western city of Bristol and the northwestern city of Liverpool.

Prime Minister David Cameron, who cut short his vacation to return to the capital, said Tuesday the events of the last three days were "criminality, pure and simple" and said “People should be in no doubt that we will do everything necessary to restore order to Britain’s streets.”

London's police said 14 people were injured, including a man in his 60s with life threatening injuries.

Mr. Cameron said some 16,000 police would be on London’s streets on Tuesday night, up from the 6,000 on duty on Monday, boosted by reinforcements from across the country.

“It is quite clear that we need more, much more, police on our streets and we need even more robust police action,” he said.

“These are sickening scenes ... this is criminality, pure and simple, and it has to be confronted and defeated.”

He said parliament would meet on Thursday “so I can make a statement to parliament and we can hold a debate and we are all able to stand together in condemnation of these crimes.”

This is the most extensive rioting Londoners have seen in a generation, surpassing the scope of the huge race riots that paralyzed the city in the 1980s, with scores of fires and skirmishes spreading over Monday night into Croydon in the far south, Camden Town in the north, Hackney in the east, Ealing in the west, an unpredictable and seemingly random set of mass crime explosions – but also the least comprehensible.

These are not race riots: Though they began, on Saturday afternoon, with a small protest in Tottenham, north London, over the shooting of a dark-skinned man by police under suspicious circumstances, they quickly became a much wider and less purposeful explosion of youth criminality.

Tottenham was the site of the terrible Broadwater Farm riot of 1985, which also began with a protest over a police shooting – but that was another London, deeply divided along racial lines, with a furious and socially excluded Caribbean community battling an all-white and explicitly racist police force. This week, by contrast, both the rioters and the police are multicoloured.

Nor are these explicitly political riots: There is no message, no motive, no cause, no slogan. Efforts by some opposition politicians to link these events to Prime Minister David Cameron’s spending cuts have been met with incredulity in the affected neighbourhoods, where those cuts have not yet had any municipal effect.

1. Браузер (окно в интернет, Кнопочка в мир или как бы вы это не называли)

Сейчас существует три основных программы. Если вы пользуетесь Internet Explorer - застрелитесь
Google Chrome (скачать) - то, чем и правда стоит пользоваться. Я пользуюсь именно им. Основное преимущество - общий аккаунт для всех сервисов Google

4. Документы

Теперь нет необходимости пользоваться Microsoft Office и вообще любыми программами, установленными на компьютере. Все это есть в интернете. Называется это - облачные сервисы. Конечно же, речь идет о google docs (войти можно под своим аккаунтом почты gmail)
Поддерждивается множество файлов: doc, docx, rtf, txt, pdf, jpg, xls,xlsx, ppt,pptx, архивы rar и многое другое. Теперь все ваши документы могут быть в интернете под вашим паролем и доступ к ним будет из любой точки мира, где есть интернет

5. Фотографии

Пересылать большие фотографии размером больше 2 мб - это моветон!
Для организации фотографий, их обработки и синхронизации с интернетом лучше всего подходит picasa (скачать)

Этой программы реально достаточно. Все фото выкладываются в веб-альбомы, к которым можно ограничить доступ другим пользователям. Поэтому не следует хранить фото на компьютере и каждый раз присылать их по почте друзьям - проще дать им ссылку и пароль

Записывать куда-то бессмысленно - можно забыть. Поэтому полезнее использовать google календарь

Регистрируемся, размещаем на панель закладок кнопочку Read Later и, находясь на странице, которую хотите запомнить, просто нажимаете ее.

Чтобы сократить время при просмотре большого объема информации, лучше использовать rss, чем каждый раз заходить на сайты
