Le houlographe de la Pointe de la Vigie se trouve au nord de la Guadeloupe environ 270 km au sud de St Martin. La houle de Nord y est ressentie avec environ 12 à 24 h de retard qu'à St Martin mais cela peut donner une idée de la tendance. &lt;b&gt;Pour la &lt;a href="http://www.bucketregattas.com/stbarths/"&gt;25e Bucket Regatta de St Barth&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/b&gt;, 4 "War Birds" datant de la 2è Guerre Mondiale étaient de la fête. Le bombardier B-25, le P-40, le Mustang P-51 et le Corsair sont passés dans un bruit de tonnerre au-dessus du Nettle Bay Beach Club à 2 reprises en début d'après-midi le dimanche 27 mars. Ils peuvent même parfois être faibles, au sud du système notamment Il s'agit seulement de vents tournant plus ou moins typiquement autour d'un cyclone et changeant donc rapidement de direction au gré du déplacement du phénomène. On l'a vu avec EARL. &lt;/i&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Au nord du cyclone, on subit généralement des vents d'Est&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ouest du cyclone: vents de secteur nord&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Sud du cyclone: vents d'ouest&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Est du cyclone: vents de sud (pas tout-à-fait vrai dans l'image car ici les alizés sont prévus de reprendre rapidement)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;i&gt;La houle qui est plutôt dans ce cas "la mer du vent" subit les mêmes effets mais avec un certain retard. Elle peut devenir "démentielle" car les différentes houles viennent de toutes les directions à la fois.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
