In order to teach or child to treat others with respect and dignity, they must also be treated that way. And childhood is a time for children to learn about the world, including how to get along with others. Parents play an essential role in teaching children how to form healthy relationships and grow into socially adept individuals. This social competence allows children to be cooperative and generous, express their feelings, and empathize with others.

The most effective way to teach children this lesson is by modeling the behavior you want to encourage. Every time you say "please" or lend a helping hand, you are showing your children how you would like them to act. Ask for your children's help with daily tasks, and accept their offers of help. Praise your child's good behavior and traits often, and help them realize how good it feels inside to do a good deed or be generous with another person.

Socially competent children are ones who have a strong sense of self worth and importance. When a child feels good about themselves, it's easy for them to treat others in a positive, helpful manner.

Encourage acts of generosity through sharing and cooperation. Let your child know when it's someone else's turn with a toy or on the swing and praise their ability to recognize this on their own. Thank them for being polite and respectful and for sharing and cooperating.

Children know from their own experiences that words can hurt, and that name-calling, teasing, or excluding others affects how people feel. Children want to be treated fairly, but they don't always understand how to treat others the same way. Though we all worry about spoiling our child, rest assured that you cannot spoil your child with love. Love doesn't spoil children. Love is imperative to a child's healthy development, and it's just not possible to love your child too much. They need caring adults to spend time with them, play with them, teach them, protect them, and enjoy life with them.

It's a parent's job to provide love, safety and encouragement. The process of growing up provides children with lots of challenges. Try to listen openly and understand their situation and communicate honestly with them when they have difficulties and letdowns in their life.

Set appropriate limits with your child and then adhere to them. Establishing limits with your child gives them a sense of safety and security. Sometimes parents do not set limits because they don't want to fight with their children. They don't want to cause bad feelings. They may beg a child to comply. Or they may make a rule and fail to enforce it. They may nag without ever enforcing the rules. None of these helps children. This negative audit report is called an adverse opinion. That's the big stick that auditors carry.

They have the power to give a company's financial statements an adverse opinion and no business wants that. The threat of an adverse opinion almost always motivates a business to give way to the auditor and change its accounting or disclosure in order to avoid getting the kiss of death of an adverse opinion.

An adverse audit opinion says that the financial statements of the business are misleading. The SEC does not tolerate adverse opinions by auditors of public businesses; it would suspend trading in a company's stock share if the company received an adverse opinion from its CPA auditor.

One modification to an auditor's report is very serious - when the CPA firm says that it has substantial doubts about the capability of the business to continue as a going concern. There will be Folder inside with the name 10202DCE. Delete all files inside this folder have names with numbers/character that are meaningless.

This alchemy is all the more astounding because the tools often appear unremarkable to others. Who would look at a chisel, a mallet, and a file and imagine them producing Michelangelo’s David?
Great art relies on the mastery and application of foundational skills, learned individually through diligent study. You learn to strike a chisel with a mallet. You refine the skill with time, learning at what angle to strike and how hard to drive the chisel. Years later, when and if your work makes it to a museum, observers will likely talk about what school of thought or theory it represents. They are far less likely to reflect on the degree to which proficiency with the chisel made the vision possible. But although lots of people conjure unique artistic visions, only those with an artisan’s skill can make them real. Behind every artist is an artisan.
And while not everyone who learns to drive a chisel will create a David, neither can anyone who fails to learn it do much more than make marks on rocks.

This is about the tools of the teaching craft. More specifically, it’s about the tools necessary for success in the most important part of the field: teaching in public schools, primarily those in the inner city, that serve students
born into poverty and, too often, to a rapidly closing window of opportunity. In these schools, the price of failure is high and the challenges immense. Teachers there work in a crucible where, most often, our society’s failures are paramount, self-evident, and overwhelming, but also where the kind of alchemy that changes
lives can and does occur. Unfortunately this alchemy happens too rarely and often without much fanfare. But in the hands of a small number of champion teachers and visionary principals who’ve managed to build classrooms and schools that successfully pry the window of opportunity back open, it happens reliably and
consistently. If you’re reading this and you’re a teacher who wants to improve your craft, my aim is to give you the tools to do that—to become one of those teachers who unlocks the latent talent and skill waiting in his or her students, no matter how many previous schools or classrooms or teachers have been unsuccessful

Not every teacher I observed uses every one of these techniques, but in the aggregate, the techniques that I include in this book emerge as the tools excellent teachers use to separate themselves from the merely good. I recently had a conversation with one of my former students. She has been out of school for a few years now but isn't satisfied with the direction her career has taken. In fact, she's not too happy with her personal life either. Her voice developed more than a touch of whine as she said: "I don't know what to do."

So I asked her about her goals. Her response was a rather slack-jawed look of surprise. "Goals?" Well at least she wasn't whining anymore.

I asked her what she would like to see her career in a few years. I asked her where she'd like to see her life in a few years. She knew the answers to those questions and quickly became animated as she discussed her desire to start her own business. We talked about what she would need to accomplish her goal and what she would have to change.

When we parted ways she felt a lot better about her job because she knew that she wasn't trapped in it. She was taking a necessary step to prepare herself for a long-term goal. She had her eye on the prize and that focus energized her.

That is the power of goals. What are your goals? There are seven reasons why you need to have goals.

To give direction to life
To make sure we are the one choosing the direction of our life -- not others, not fate, not the media, etc.
To motivate
To make sure we get what we want from life
To save time
To reduce stress
To give a sense of accomplishment

While it can be fun to live without direction in the short-term, in the long-term human beings are wired to need a purpose and direction. Goals give a sense of direction and purpose to life.

It is often easy to let others set our direction for us. We take a job because family or friends point us in that direction and then we follow the dictates of our bosses. We move in other directions because popular culture or the media tells us to do so. The simple truth is that if we do not set our own goals then we will find it too easy to follow a path set by others. This can lead to stress and unhappiness. We have a greater chance of happiness and fulfillment following our own path and pursuing our own goals.

While goals certainly give our lives direction, they also provide the motivation to get us through difficult times and choices. Perhaps going to college at night while working full-time may be stressful and difficult in the short-term, but in the long run being able to pursue the professional goals we desire will make it worthwhile.

Goals also serve as the destination for what we really want out of life. For some people, goals are measured in money or material goods, while for others goals are measured in time or freedom. If we do not have goals outlined that suit our unique perspective on life it is easy to become sidetracked by life and others.

Goals can also help save time. When your "To Do" list becomes too long and your calendar too full, then you can simply compare your goals to the list. What items help you achieve your goal? What items are necessary to your goal? Scratch off the rest as unimportant.

Just as goals save time they also reduce stress because using your goals to focus your life and choices makes it easier to make those choices. Should you take that new position at work? How does it match your goals?

Finally, goals give you a measurable sense of accomplishment. Every goal you achieve, in fact every step you make toward that goal, can give you a boost of energy and momentum to keep going. Each success powers you toward the next level of success.

60 Minutes To Clear Goals

I think that most people would agree that the people who have goals are more successful than those who do not have any.

I often think about leadership and management. Leadership is about doing the right things while management is about doing things right. Often when we study time management, we study efficiency (doing things right) and make the assumption that we have the effectiveness (leadership) solved.

The first step in any time management system should be to work on goals and as such, I use the following 60 Minute Goal Setting Exercise.

Step 1: at the top of a blank piece of paper write down “values” and then spend 10 to 15 minutes writing down everything that you value. There is a great website: www.stevepavlina.com/ that has a list of several hundred values to start your mind thinking in the right direction. After the time is up, stop doing this and move to Step 2.

Step 2: at the top of a blank piece of paper write down “lifetime goals”. This is where you can dream; for example, what places would you like to visit; what experiences would you like to have; what would you like to accomplish within your lifetime. This might include traveling to Australia; getting a university degree; living in an X square foot house, etc. There are no rules to this brainstorming – simply make a list.

I have done this goal setting exercise many times and I tend to use the same list of lifetime goals and add to the list each time I do the exercise.

Step 3: at the top of a blank piece of paper write down what you would do if you had six months to live. This part of the exercise really came home to me this week when one of my close friends died at 36 years old. Some of us may have only six months to live; however, we may not know it yet. List everything that you would do if you had only six months to live. Part of the purpose of this exercise that I found works well for me is that it brings the truly important into focus. Often I find things that I would do if I had only six months to live that are not listed on my life time goals.

Step 4: at the top of a blank piece of paper write down your goals for this year. After doing the first three steps, you will find this step much easier than the others. These are the goals to focus on NOW.

This total exercise will only take an hour. An hour spent clarifying your goals can save you hundreds of hours.

2.    Write capital A, B, C, under each topic (Chapter). These will be your chapter sub headings.

When you use this format on paper or computer, and you read the text laid out in an organized manor, your mind will automatically want to fill in the gaps. The human brain just will not tolerate gaps in anything. Your thoughts will compel you to finish the job. By using this technique you will accomplish an amazing amount of work. Joomla gives you two options for how to organize all your content articles. Remember that each article is a discrete piece of content; for example, it might be a two-paragraph news announcement about your company. While a small site might only have five to ten articles, a big site could have thousands. The size and complexity of your site are a huge consideration for how to organize your articles.

Let's take a conceptual look at these two organizational options, and then we will see how they apply to our imaginary Joomla website for Widget Inc.

Uncategorized Articles

Uncategorized articles are by far the simplest way to organize a Joomla website. As the name implies, there is basically no hierarchical structure.

Let's consider an analogy to help us understand. Imagine we are trying to organize a stack of papers on a desk. Each piece of paper represents a single content article, and our website is represented by a filing cabinet next to the desk.

If we were to organize our articles as uncategorized, we would simply place them in a drawer of the filing cabinet. If there aren't many articles, this is a fast and easy way to organize them. I can easily find what I want by just picking up the small stack of papers and flipping through the sheets (that is, following links to the different articles).

Sections and Categories

If I have many more articles than a dozen, using uncategorized articles isn't going to work. If I pick up the stack, I might have to flip through a thousand pieces of paper.

Palringo is one of multiprotokol instant messenger application that allows you to chat via mobile or via the desktop and handle various instant messenger services, noted there are approximately 11 services ranging from Yahoo! Messenger to Facebook Chat Chat including Palringo. To install this application can be used for mobile devices with platforms such as Java, Windows Mobile, Symbian / S60, Aplle iPhone / iPod Touch, BlackBerry and even for Android. For the computer device / PC is available also for Windows PCs and Mac OS X, complete enough right? So not only deals with the BlackBerry and the iPhone, but may also wrote for the mobile Java or Symbian.
This time to discuss the use of BlackBerry devices, to other devices do not differ greatly.
1. First download Palringo application on your PC via the browser or downloaded OTA http://www.palringo.com/en/gb/download via Blackberry devices in http://modept.mobi/download/palringo/app address and select a type mobile phone OS type available. Once installed open the Palringo application.
2. 3. Then, point the cursor at Palringo account, click the logo on the left side of the BlackBerry trackball, click the "Service", click again "Add Service" to find the logo of the service would be added, then fill ID or username and password to connect, this service account will appear below Palringo account.
At the top of the screen there are two menus, one with the logo Palringgo letter "P" and the menu "Contacts". The first menu to set the "Service" or service should be active, "Active Chats" or the incoming message, "Location" to indicate the location / area of our Visitors and the menu "Help" for assistance.
4. To find friends who are online or even offline, trackball cursor point to the "Contacts". Chat with friends to this point the cursor to a friend's name continued to click trackball to "Private Chat" or click "properties" to see info about this friend.
Palringo's unique is the "Location" which indicates the location of the user, can be set manually by writing a country / city or by auto using existing GPS in BlackBerry or disable regulated and can even be configured who wrote that can see this location data if all people or certain.

Nanyang Scholarship
The Nanyang Scholarships, Nanyang Technological University (NTU)’s foremost undergraduate scholarships are awarded to the outstanding freshmen pursuing undergraduate programmes. Nanyang Scholarship recognizes students who excel academically, demonstrate strong leadership potential, and possess outstanding CCA track records.
Eligibility

Open to all nationalities.
Successful awardees should read a full-time undergraduate degree programme leading to a first degree, with the exception of Biomedical Sciences & Chinese Medicine and the NTU-Georgia Tech Integrated Programmes where it will cover only the first three years of study in NTU.
Possess outstanding Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘A’ level, Local Polytechnic Diploma, NUS High School Diploma, IB Diploma or Year 12 equivalent qualifications.
Excellent Co-Curricular Activities records.
Strong leadership qualities and potential.

Nanyang Scholarship covers up to the normal programme duration on condition that the scholar maintains a record of good academic performance and conduct satisfactory to the University.

Subsidised tuition fees will be fully covered.
Living allowance of S$6,000 per academic year.
Book allowance of S$500 per academic year.
Computer allowance of S$1,500 (one-off).
Settling-in allowance of S$250 (one-off).

Terms & Conditions

Scholar may not, without the approval of the University, hold concurrently any other scholarships, bursaries or university loans (except for one-time award or book prize).
Nanyang Scholar is required to maintain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 out of 5.0. Academic performance will be reviewed every semester.
Nanyang Scholar is required to stay for at least one year in a hall of residence during your course of study and participate in university campus life.
Nanyang Scholar is to undertake the role of Student Ambassador, or any other similar role, to represent the University as and when called upon.
The Scholarship may be withdrawn at any time if, in the opinion of the University, the scholar’s progress or behaviour is deemed unsatisfactory.
If the scholar decides to terminate the scholarship prematurely, the University reserves the right to impose a repayment on a case-by-case basis.
Nanyang Scholar is required to attend all the Nanyang Scholars Programmes, i.e., Orientation, Award Ceremony and Leadership Training Programme, conducted by Office of Admissions and Financial Aid.
