The hat says it all really; as soon as I laid eyes on it I had to have it (and with the amount of glares I received,I'm sure many people did too); I chose the hat and jacket at a jumble sale and I'm so glad I did; as I have been wearing them ~~well the jacket~~ non-stop.

I wore this outfit with a few friends for a bite to eat in Central; it's so strange that it can be sunny and humid one minute then freezing and raining the next. Weather; please make up your mind! thanks.

Nicole X Missguided Collection.

So this much anticipated collection has been creating a stir on the bloggersphere lately. Ever since the first advert for the new Nicole X Missguided collection; Missguided has had a huge surge of thee 'OMG, AAAHHH, YAAY' replies and so forth. And I am happy to say I am one of them.

It's not every time you get a celebrity highstreet collaboration; that actually provides clothing I would wear, this collection gives you sexy bodycon dress, leather jeggings, midi skirts, crop tops etc. The types of clothes I wear on a daily basis (although hold the leather jeggings)

Even with the exceptional high quality of Missguided, this lookbook has totally blown me away, so I had to share it with you. ~~Even through I'm sure this isn't the first blog you've seen the preview~~.
The collection features a minimal yet striking colour palette of monochrome, with a pop of cobalt blue, as well as combining different components of mesh, leather, fishnets and cut outs. Heaven!
The sports luxe theme is definitely on trend; as well all pieces being available for under £50.

So far I have my eye on the top 3 pieces; and I can't wait to get my hands on them, which I am sure to post on this blog very very soon. Missguided has done it again. Nicole you ledge!

Hey guys, so I wanted to share my first outfit post for this year (bad I know), I haven't really had any time or opportunities to take pictures; but all should be fixed in due course real soon.

This outfit was taken today whilst I was with my family; shopping, Nando's, new car blah blah.
I have always wanted a oversized denim jacket, especially one that looks more boyish; so I was really happy when Asos stocked this bad boy. I love the ripped detail and the fit allows you to wear a thick jumper underneath without fainting of over heat exposure.

The hat was a gift from my mum, seeing as she lost the other one. British weather eh? So I was really glad to get this gorgeous topper as I have been scouring online for one since..well..ages. The same with the bag, although it was a birthday gift from my sister and I haven;t stopped using it, I love the box style and how it can fit everything from my make up to my phone.

Topshop AW14 #review

A bit late to the party I know (actually really late), but after the commotion that is LFW; I thought I would make a few posts solely on a few catwalk shows this year; which has literally blown me away.

Topshop Unique being the first.

With the FROW being Kendall Jenner, Kate Moss, Poppy Delevigne, Susie Bubbles, Anna Wintour.... this show was the one to be at this season.
From the cobalt blue blazers, to the layered leather, lace skirts; its no wonder Topshop Unique continues to hold its loyal followers.
There was a definite 70s student feel about the collection with the over-the-knee suede boots, a peacock embellished yellow smock (worn by the stunning Jourdan Dunn), patchwork sheepskin gilets, skater skirts and a grey pinafore dress.

The colours palette consisted of a fairly autmnal tone with cobalt blues, soft greys, muddy greens and tawny yellows. Aside from some daring see through appliqué tops for evening wear, a couple of little black dresses and some cute short shorts, this was all about luxurious daywear. The blanket coats, seasonal chunky knits, roll necks and long flared hem skirts were all beautifully wearable for this season. (or any season, depending on how you wear it).

Of course, I have not had the pleasure of attending the exclusive event, my laptop has provided me with a great alternative through a live feed. But from the looks of it, I definitely will be 'FROW' in buying these covetable items as soon as they are live (which will be around August hopefully)

MAC mineralize 'golden hours' eye shadow.

Another post in my beauty week. wahey! This time its the MAC eye shadow palette, another of my favourites. A another gift by the lovely Company fashion team; these eye shadow colours have become my go-to favourite.

The nude palettes is amazing for my skin tone; making it stand out, with not much OTT; if you get my drift, perfect for those laid back types.
I've got to admit, I usually use MAC for the lipstick and the occasional eye liner; as the quality is mesmerising, so you could understand the first time I saw this eye shadow kit; it was well ignored.

But, through many recommendations, and well needed use of the colours; I decided to give the nude's a shot. I love how the colours blend in to my skin tone, and they not only provide outstanding colour but they provide minerals too which is an amazing combination. I personally prefer to use my finger; in order to get the 'grudgy' look; which I'm sure many of you can relate too. But if you want to use different colours and tones in achieving a particular style; then a small brush is recommended.

Speaking of which, you can also combine the colours with others from different brands and tones which is amazing for those #trialanderror types. I love using the darker colours mixed in with the white tone; because it provides a distinctive tone. Going what I said about makeup bags, you don't really need to have it in there; as the colours are everlasting and are great quality.

Fairy Drops: Scandal Queen

Fairy Drops 'Scandal Queen' mascara £18.50*

By no means am I desperate for a mascara; my previous ones dried out resulting in failed reviving attempts and I haven't been able to find one that really suits my 'eye' needs.

My lashes are quite long, dark and thickish... but I still believe Mascara is one of the vital commodities. I usually apply both the top half and bottom half for extra dynamic, but it takes a few trial and errors to get the perfect look.

Enter the 'Fairy Drops; Scandal Queen' mascara-a product I have never heard of before a few weeks ago, when it was kindly gifted to me by Company magazine. The brush is of a thick fairy drops curved brush; a brush I have never seen before but was very intrigued. The brush is designed to be use on both the upper and bottom lashes, as well with its 5 treatment essences.
Of course I was a bit apprehensive when I first saw the brush; I usually go for a more thin, teeny weeny brush so it can reach those hard to reach places without making a splodgy mess.I'm sure everyone has been through this. I know I have. #trialanderror

It's a brilliant mascara, without the clumping; providing you thick and more defined look. The mascara is incredibly easy to apply and build up, is super black and adds length and volume as well as holding a curl. The unique shape is spectacular; as it gives you a more easier way of applying.

It is really easy to take off with a few simple wipes; much better than the other products I have used. And there was a few. The packaging is gorgeous and small enough to fit in my makeup bag, characteristics of which I love in a beauty product.

DKNY's 'apple in a box'

DKNY 'Golden Delicious' eau de parfum 30ml: £37.50*

DKNY is a name I've never tried for myself; either for smell or fashion. But I was very intrigued to try out the 'Golden Delicious' parfum; especially as I have heard so many positive things about it. Smell wise of course.

I personally love the apple shape flacon and the liquid colour, as it creates an effective illusion for an apple; as well as making it really pretty to look at.
Described as ' an opulent floral heart offers a bouquet of white roses, surrounded by Casablanca lilies.' It is a very feminine smell, a smell which lingers at most. I expected the smell to be quite strong and overpowering; but it's light and fresh with a girly edge. Very refreshing for such a small bottle.

I can definitely smell the apple sensation in the opening, an explosion of juicy flavour, with a floral side to it of course.
There is a sweetness a golden apple would bring to the plate but that's all. It's not stomac-lifting sweet or fruity. As it dries down, it becomes more of a woody floral (matches very well with the packaging); on my skin to my nose. It does become more of a warmer scent, which is perfect for a daytime to evening transition. Lasting many hours, there is no excessive spillage (which is preferable), and suitable for everyday situations.

The DKNY fragrances are designed to be worn alone; you don't want to overpower the smell with another, that can be for disastrous consequences. (TRUST ME!)

Although the size does seem quite tiny, I really love the 30ml as it is the perfect handbag size. Beautiful design, attached with a sweet smell and packaging? 'Golden Delicious' is perfect for those summer dreamers.

Hey guys, so a long overdue post, I know. I have been interning/freelancing/working like crazy and so I haven't had enough time to sit at a Computer (unless work related of course).
Throughout the past few weeks, I have been interning at Company magazine; which was a blast. Met some cool people, assisted on an amazing shoot and received some amazing goodies.

On the first day I was introduced to the wonderful fashion team, and then onto my office for the next few weeks; with my own email, computer and sense of Hearst Identity (result!) Gained so many skills, and built relationships with PR's as well as gain compliments from them which literally put a smile on my face.

A short post for now, but there will be a Company magazine post real soon. I also have a few amazing opportunities coming up, which I am so excited about, and hopefully I will be posting more OOTD picks alongside more beauty reviews.

Victoria's Secret: The review. / Part 1

I have a strange VS addiction.

I don't do a product review that often; as a matter of fact at all. Whenever I am sent or buy something; cosmetics, clothes or food (ha), I just use it without showcasing it to the bloggerssphere, and if I ever do a review, it's on a recent celeb/retailer collaboration. But seeing as it is 2014, I want to start changing the content of my blog; from the ever known 'wishlists' to product reviews. YAY!

As a beauty and fashion junkie; I try to experiment; whether its for lipsticks, makeup and nails; I usually stay on one branded item and then ignore the rest. Maybe I'm worried that certain brands wont 'accentuate' my features, or I just live in one brand at a time. Bad I know; but I've recently known that it is important to try new things. I've just started using Mac 'Russian Red'. But then I misplaced it and started using Mac, Ruby Woo . (Don't judge me)

For my first time using matte, I wear it religiously. If you follow me on instagram; you would see that many of my pictures are with me gloriously wearing my red lippy,like this one for example.. I might do a full tutorial soon.. so watch this space.

Victoria Secret 'Dream of Passion-Iced Cranberry &Winter Plum' body mist. 250ml.

I do love a bit of body mist when it comes to spritzing every day, morning (and some nights). I must admit, I tend to develop amnesia and forget it exists; relying on my usual 'Fantasy' and 'CKUN2U' instead. So it's quite a surprise I'm doing a review on a body spray, and not perfume. Recently gifted to me by my younger sister, from her American excursions; I was curious to test out the fragrance mist, and I can say that curiosity has turned to disbelief. In a good way of course.

In my own points of view, I personally feel that whenever known brands product their own line of cosmetics; I feel as though they move towards the 'tacky' side. I mean, focus on what you do best people..fashion!

But how was I wrong in this case. Scent-wise, I know what I like and it can mostly be 'everlasting sweetness'. As soon as I pop open the lid, I am greeted to a sweet but sensual smell, a smell which has since grown on me. I could definitely grab a sense of the cranberry fragrance with one sniff.

Mind you, I don't really drink Cranberry, but this body mist surely makes up for it. As I spray it on my wrist; I am enthrusted with a strong sense which gradually grows into a candy-coated sensation. This is when I am able to get a whiff of the Plum aroma; which makes for a pleasant combination.

The packaging surely draws you in. Victoria's Secret highlights sexy, feminine, features which this bottle accentuates. The colour of the mist itself; symbolizes passion, fire as well as sexuality. Not too bad for VS I might add, and it definitely does what it says on the ~~tin~~ bottle. Speaking of:

Ok, so unlike other bloggers, fashionistas and normal people. I'm doing my end of 2013 on the 3rd day of 2014, and I don't have thousands of previous outfits posts, because well..there aren't any. Hey, I've had a lot of things going on, especially some new and upcoming projects in the mix. But hey, ho..better late than never right?

So like some typical young adult (not party crazed at all) on New Years Eve, a few of my friends and I thought it would be great to celebrate 2014 in style. How amazing was it that it ended up.. completely different!

The night featured, eating McDonalds in the car, lots and lots of rain, party swapping and a soaking 50p. (Dont ask).
I can't say that is wasn't memorable though.

Although it isn't shown in my rare blog posts this year (I blame uni..boo) it has been a busy year; graduation, internships, interviews, travelling and working, as well as starting an amazing freelance position.

Some of my achievements were gaining a BA degree, being featured on the Company magazine website (OMG!), interning at some amazing publications (some not so great. ahem.) and celebrating with amazing friends and family.

Sorry, I'm still shocked and amazed....

2013 has been a good year, but could have been better. I'm not going to delve into the 'New Year, new me' crap; too cliché and I don't really relegate for the 'new me' part. How about, new year, same me; but with different tactics in getting my achievements.

Hopefully 2014, will bring some more posts, more OOTD's and amazing collaborations.

TO 2014! Im ready for ya!.

Who doesn't like watches; their personable, and they are accurate in telling time. All the watch haters, look away now!
After the sudden loss of my dear glazed gold band watch ~~bye bye birdy~~, I thought about how it would be nice to treat myself to a brand new timeteller; designer or high street? That is the question. Isn't it?

For this post, I thought it would be cool, to show you guys the ideal designer watches I would buy if I had hundreds of pounds to spare. ahem.

The first, this glorious Olivia Burton watch; divine divine divine. I am a huge sucker for butterflies, and I love how the design gives a vintage feeling to it in contrast to the gold bracelet. The big face (38mm) makes it easier to read the time as well showing off the gorgeous design impeccably. I personally feel the colour gold matches my skin tone better; this includes wearing jewellery as well as watches. And this particular item desfinitely ticks my box, the price is a little overwhelming for such a small item; but in contrast to the other watches below; I would make an exception. Good on you Olivia!

Guess ladies Python Look Strap watch / Asos / £63

This watch just oozes sophistication. I love how Guess sticks with its ideal denim material; because, well their jeans are awesome. It is redefining denim! The embellished python material on the band as well as face; just draws you in. So stylish, so easy on the eye. A negative however, is the colour of the face border; a bit 'outdated', but I would definitely look past it, for the eyewatering price of £63. (And I mean happy eyewatering).

Michael Kors Felicity rose gold-toned watch / Selfridges / £209

~~Excuse me while I faint of happiness.~~ OMG am I in heaven. Watch heaven that is. Never mind Michael Kors being an absolute legend, but this rose gold watch; what a crowd pleaser. This trusty watch just exudes glamour. The diamond dot detail just makes us fashionistas crazy.

Gucci interlocking gstrap leather watch / John Lewis / £1,570

OWEEEE THE PRICE?!!! But the quality is sensational. A striking double G design just stands out, as well as the interlocking of the gold 'G' and plain white band and face. Stainless steel?! Yes please.! A little ~~okay alot~~ out my price range, but I wouldn't mind this as a christmas present. Anyone?

Meadham Kirchhoff X Topshop

Hey guys, long time no speak. For this post, I thought I would share with you my ultimate favs from the new Meadham/Topshop collaboration. Now I must warn you, the following is not for the faint hearted, plain dressed, and anti colour types. I must admit, my first impression of the MK collection wasn't exactly (love at first sight)... rainbow colours, pastels, neon and lots and lots of checkers. But after getting over the shock and excitement over the styles and prices (£70 for a red lurex cardigan. ~~ahem.~~) I actually found myself warming up to the designer capsule collection.

The MK collaboration with Topshop, was inspired by the idea of a band or gang called 'The Cherrys', as well as the overall aesthetic was influenced by Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids, Kembra Pfahler and glam rock.
The collection features everything from PVC, to mangolian shearling; with lashings of ruffles, lace and glitter. ~~Heaven!~~

Available to all shoppers 21st November, I have no doubt this particular collaboration will be a hit. Just remember, first come first served!.

As shown on the website, the MK collection, is situated in 4 different categories, determining your style personalities:

Cherry Pikka, Cherry Blossom, Cherry Cherie and Cherry Satanika.

After looking at all the collections, I personally would identify myself as Cherry Pikka. I love mix and matching different colors and patterns as well combining different materials in my outfits, so the colour clash and fabric mashup looks are well great in my boat.

Just to have a little idea into the different styles of each category, below are a few of my favourite products..

I love the hand crochet detail on the dress and jumper; I also love how you can wear them with different colours, whether it be lipstick, jewellery etc. You can't go wrong with a colourful crochet right? As soon as I saw the monster angora jumper I completely fell in love; I personally have hundreds ~~ok maybe not hundreds...but alot~~ of printed jumpers, and this one is right up my street. Ignore the price tag of course.

One word to describe this collection: Pink. Pink Pink Pink. ~~3 words?~~ I love how you can mix and match the different colours, materials and styles, for example: with the pale pink slip dress, all I need to do is pop on a thick jumper, add tights and ankle boots. ~~Voila!!~~ Ready for winter.

90's Diva. The bold prints are certainly lusting to the eye, The tiger angora jumper: very winter and styling appropriate. And I just adore the zig zag over the knee socks. Perfect for Disco night!

Orange, red, flames and eyeballs! Whats not to love? The Satanika collection literally keeps you warm with these amazing products. All we need now is a fire breathing starlet and we're done.

Hello guys, So sorry I have been away for a while, graduation, new job... Everything is soo manic, and the weather isn't helping much either. Whilst the summer only last for a few days, this winter weather is coming back with a vengeance...longer nights, minus temperatures, slower traffic. But, as a advantage winter does mean; big scarves, vampy lips, long coats etc... ~~So its kind of WIN LOSE situation.~~

For this post I wanted to show my 3 favorite coats that are now in season across many high street brands. I personally have at least 5 coats/jackets in my wardrobe and I live in 1, which is pretty bad. But with these beauties, I maybe just might consider that...

Checked Studio Cape / Zara £159

Seriously how gorgeous is this cap??! The checked detail, and the colour both make an exceptional accessory. Wearing this, I can instantly see myself FROW at fashion week ~~a girl can dream,~~ or off to my high paid amazing job. I rarely wear capes (especially of this price tag) but I wouldn't mind warming up in this Zara beauty. Christmas list anyone?

Grey Textured Ovoid Coat / Topshop £78

Love Love Love! The colour just oozes winter and the boyfriend style is so in season. I think that these types of coats are perfect in keeping warm and looking stylish. The pockets is very convenient and the zip allows you to style it differently.

Wool-blend coat / And other stories £165

Never mind the price tag; a bit over the normal budget, but I think I will make an exception with this wool wonder. 'And Other Stores' has become my new favorite go to store for amazing clothes. Recommended by a colleague, I can now see why the site is so popular. (Think Monki with a hint of NET-A-PORTER-but cheaper non-the-wise.)
I love the electric blue and the oversize style. Very on trend and will keep you very warm. BONUS!

3 day weekend.

Another day, another post, although I have been too busy spending the weekend working, I have actually enjoyed this '3 day ~~work~~weekend', nothing like double pay eh? LOL. But I have been able to enjoy the week and its weather. Starbucks is my favourite go to place, amazing refresha drinks, red velvet cake and free wifi (hello!) For the first time ever, I was able to visit the local SNOG store near Covent garden (fyi, its a frozen yoghurt store), after various meetings, and it was delicious, choosing different toppings and flavours.

As you can see I have my fair share of accessories, I am obsessed with necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets, hats etc.... Just can't help myself, I walk into a store and the first thing I look for is the accessories department, which is why I am looking forwards to payday. *highfive* Really nervous about a couple opportunities coming my way, some more excited than others, and hopefully I will be able to share them with you.

Visiting Carnival next week, meaning I get to unwind with family, listen to music, eat and generally have fun.

Long overdue / skirts obsession

Hey guys, haven't blogged for a long time; mainly due to uni and coursework, which is know over because I have GRADUATED!!!! woop!.

Anyhoo, I have solely focused my spare time on blogging; as with new and improved posts, content and design.

Fashionwise, I have become really obsessed with skirts at the moment and I don't know why. Maybe its the different styles, fabrics and how they help 'build' an outfit. Or maybe it's just my sheer obsession with the bottomwear. Below is 3 of my favourite skirt and examples of what I would wear around them.

Hello, really sorry for the long wait in between posts, third year of uni is so stressful but managing to keep my head above ground.
Can't believe Topshop has these Jeffrey lookalike beauties in stock on their website right now, completely fell in love, especially with the AJ cut out ankle boot. Plus the prices are less than half price than the original. BARGAIN!
Already on my Christmas list.
