While some of us are already satisfied with a special Lord of the Rings or Star Wars edition, the manufacturers of the well-known Monopoly game try their luck at selling a superdeluxe edition. The board itself is handmade, the dice are leather-bound and the infamous bank has gotten a leather coat. Available at Barney's NY, you must either be ridiculously rich or addicted to Monopoly to spend $4550 on the deluxe edition.

Looks can be deceiving, but this Cup Planter designed by the German Gitta Gschwendtner (how's that for an alliteration!), is anything but an optical illusion. It is designed to be filled with flowers or such at your liking, but for the caffeine addicts out there, it can also serve as an oversized coffee cup (though not recommended!).
