नवी दिल्लीः Tork Motors ने बुधवारी भारतात नवीन Kratos इलेक्ट्रिक बाइक लाँच करीत असल्याची घोषणा केली आहे. बॅटरीवर चालणाऱ्या या नवीन मोटरसायकलची किंमत १.०२ लाख रुपये आहे. कंपनीने या बाइकला २ व्हर्जन Kratos आणि Kratos R मध्ये आणले आहे. कंपनीने आज इलेक्ट्रिक बाइकसाठी बुकिंग सुरू केली आहे. याची डिलिव्हरी यावर्षी एप्रिल महिन्यापर्यंत सुरू केली जाणार आहे. कंपनीच्या अधिकृत वेबसाइटवर जाऊन फक्त ९९९ रुपये देऊन या बाइकला बुक करू शकता.

नवीन Tork Kratos EV ला टप्प्याटप्याने पूर्ण भारतात उपलब्ध केले जाणार आहे. सुरुवातीला या बाइकला पुणे, मुंबई, हैदराबाद, चेन्नई आणि दिल्ली सारख्या प्रमुख शहरात लाँच केले जाणार आहे. तर दुसऱ्या टप्प्यात या बाइकला दुसऱ्या अन्य शहरात आणले जाणार आहे.

TVS sold a total of 2,56,444 units in domestic and global markets last month as against 3,11,007 units in Nov 2020

TVS Motor Company has noted a de-growth in domestic sales while exports grew last month. Sales in the domestic market stood at 1,75,940 units, down 29 percent over 2,47,789 units sold in Nov 2020. Exports on the other hand surged to 80,504 units, up 27.34 percent YoY over 63,218 units shipped in November 2020

It was TVS Jupiter that posted the most sales with 44,139 units sold last month, down 29.52 percent over 62,626 units sold in November 2020. Jupiter currently holds a 25.09 percent share along with the recently launched Jupiter 125. In other news, the company has increased prices of Jupiter 110 scooter by Rs 600.

TVS XL100 moped was at No. 2 with sales of 42,558 units last month, down 39.85 percent over 70,750 units sold in November 2020 with a share of 24.19 percent. At No. 3 was TVS Apache motorcycle range, with a 31.16 percent YoY degrowth to 28,608 units, down from 41,557 units sold in November 2020. More recently, TVS Motor Company announced a price hike for Apache RTR 160 4V which has been increased by Rs 1,500 across its Drum and Disc variants. They also launched a new limited edition Apache 165 RP.

TVS Ntorq sales also dipped YoY by 33.91 percent to 19,157 units, down from 28,987 units sold in November 2020. TVS Raider, launched in India in September 2021 added 10,040 units to total sales in the past month. In domestic markets, every model in the company lineup suffered a de-growth except for iQube and RR310.

TVS Sport and Radeon saw sales dip 28.10 percent and 26.95 percent respectively while sales of Star City and Pep+ also dipped YoY by 26.47 percent and 44.59 percent respectively. Even as the company noted a YoY de-growth in the case of the Zest by 27.75 percent, sales of the iQube increased by 606.06 percent to 699 units, up from just 99 units sold in November 2020.

TVS Exports Breakup Nov 2021

TVS Motor Company saw better exports on a YoY basis. Most of the models in the company lineup saw increased demand in global markets except for the XL, Radeon and RR310 which posted de-growth. Star City 125 saw the most demand, up 48.92 percent to 29,567 units in the past month, from 19,854 units shipped in November 2020.

Star City also posted a 10.78 percent YoY growth to 27,318 units while Apache exports increased 20.95 percent to 11,025 units, up from 9,115 units sold in November 2020. TVS Sport and Ntorq also saw a YoY growth of 26.02 percent and 16.94 percent respectively.

TVS Victor and Wego exports increased 20 percent and 167.39 percent respectively. Jupiter was another model in the company lineup that posted an 816.67 percent YoY growth to 110 units, up from just 12 units shipped in November 2020. गुजरात बेस्‍ड ईवी स्‍टार्टअप ग्रेटा इलेक्ट्रिक (Greta Electric) ने हाल ही में एकसाथ चार इलेक्ट्रिक स्‍कूटर लॉन्‍च करके सुर्खियां बटोरी थीं। अब कंपनी का इरादा देश के कोने-कोने तक पहुंचने का है। ग्रेटा इलेक्ट्रिक ने अपने डीलर नेटवर्क को 50 से ज्‍यादा टच पॉइंट तक बढ़ाने की योजना का ऐलान किया है। देश के दूर-दराज इलाकों और हर हिस्‍से तक पहुंचने के मकसद से कंपनी ने यह घोषणा की है। बताया है कि स्‍टेज-1 में कंपनी का इरादा उनशहरों तक पहुंचने का है, जहां लोग पब्लिक ट्रांसपोर्ट की बजाए टूवीलर ज्‍यादा इस्‍तेमाल करते हैं। हाल ही में लेह, लद्दाख में एक शोरूम का उद्घाटन इस दिशा में एक कदम था। FY22 के लिए कंपनी 50 से ज्‍यादा टच पॉइंट के साथ टियर- 2 शहरों में अपनी मौजूदगी की योजना बना रही है।

कंपनी अपने डीलर सेंटरों को एक्‍सपीरियंस सेंटर और स्‍टूडियो के तौर पर भी तैयार करेगी। यहां ट्रेंड कर्मचारी होंगे, जो लोगों को इलेक्ट्रिक वीकल के फायदे बताएंगे और इससे जुड़ी चिंताएं दूर करेंगे। डीलर्स को और सेल्‍स से जुड़े लोगों को भी ट्रेनिंग देने की तैयारी है।

Ola chief and co-founder Bhavish Aggarwal on Sunday shared important details regarding the electric scooter test rides and the much-anticipated delivery of the Ola e-scooter. In a Twitter post, Bhavish also shared a video that contains experts doing stunts on Ola's electric scooter.

“Having some fun with the scooter!," wrote Ola electric CEO as he shared the video on the microblogging website.

Bhavish also updated on the test rides and delivery details,"Test rides begin in the coming week and first deliveries begin soon after,"

Ola is yet to provide a specific date for thebeginning of scooter delivery.

Ola Electric had commenced the sale process of its electric scooter S1 in September. The electric scooter, which comes in two trims - Ola S1 and S1 -, is available to purchase on the Ola App only currently, and not on the website.

The company had, on August 15, unveiled its Ola S1 electric scooter in the two variants -- S1 and S1 Pro -- at ₹99,999 and ₹1,29,999, respectively (ex-showroom including FAME II subsidy and excluding state subsidies). Ola Electric had opened pre-launch bookings of its electric scooters in July for ₹499 and had received 1 lakh orders in just 24 hours. However, the company has not disclosed how many orders it has received so far.

ओला एस1 प्रो इलेक्ट्रिक स्कूटर 181 किमी. तक की रेंज ऑफर करता है। इसमें 3.97kWh की बैटरी के साथ आता है। कंपनी दावा करती है कि बैटरी को 18 मिनट में ही 76 किमी. तक की रेंज के लिए चार्ज किया जा सकता है। इसे फुल चार्ज होने में 6 घंटे 30 मिनट का समय लगता है।

odysse Hawk Plus

इस इलेक्ट्रिक स्कूटर की कीमत 109,600 रुपये (एक्स-शोरूम) है, जिसे आप कंपनी की वेबसाइट से 2 हजार रुपये में बुक कर सकते हैं। इसमें 170 किमी. तक की रेंज मिलने का दावा किया जा रहा है। स्कूटर में ब्लूटूथ कनेक्टिविटी, डिस्क ब्रेक, मोबाइल चार्जर, म्यूजिक सिस्टम, डिजिटल स्पीडोमीटर और क्रूज कंट्रोल जैसे फीचर्स दिए गए हैं।

Some PF staffers moonlight for private sector: vigilance report

Officials entrusted with the safekeeping of workers’ retirement corpus worth lakhs of crores have been found to be working on the side to further private employers’ interests instead, in a blatant and widespread violation of civil services rules in PF offices across the country.

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has ‘discovered’ that several officers and staff are offering their ‘services’ to private firms in return for monetary remuneration routed directly to them or to their family members

While one officer has been arrested after being caught red-handed ‘negotiating and accepting illegal payments' from an employer, 16 such PF staffers were found to be involved in such activities at a single PF office. In a separate case, a social security assistant was trapped in the act of helping a firm secure a PF code number.

“Recently, during surprise checks in EPFO offices several instances of staff engaging in private PF consultancy work were discovered,” the retirement fund manager’s vigilance wing has flagged in a note warning all personnel of strong action for violating government rules that bar them from taking up any private sector work.

“In some of the offices, the practice of PF consultancy is so entrenched that it has come to be viewed as normal. Recent joint surprise check in one office yielded incriminating evidence against as many as 16 officials which demonstrates how pervasive the malaise has become,” the vigilance wing has pointed out in a missive to top PF commissioners across regions on Thursday.

“Instances of staff actively engaging in consultancy abound and have only increased over the years with no fear or understanding of the consequences,” said the communiqué, urging senior officers to stop ‘ignoring or taking a lenient view’ on such matters and take prompt action with ‘requisite gravity’ against all such officials.

Calling for ‘random surprise checks to detect and prevent such cases’ as well as a close watch on ‘suspected cases’, EPFO’s vigilance wing said: “The matter needs to be handled with requisite gravity and the cases notices should be dealt with firmly and swiftly under the disciplinary rules and exemplary punishment meted out to the guilty.”

Coming on the back of a multi-crore fraud in a Mumbai EPF office where several staffers connived to siphon out funds from the country’s largest retirement fund’s corpus, the letter approved by the Central PF Commissioner (CPFC) Mukhmeet Singh Bhatia, stressed that the ‘reputational risk to the organisation’ by the conduct of employees moonlighting for the private sector is ‘incalculable’.

“It is observed that the disciplinary authorities often tend to ignore or take a lenient view when such misconduct is noticed and the delinquent officials are allowed to get away without disciplinary action,” the directive dated October 28 recorded.

Mr. Bhatia is the Director General of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) but has been given additional charge of the EPFO following the previous CPFC Sunil Barthwal’s transfer as Secretary to the Ministry of Labour and Employment which oversees the EPFO and ESIC

India administered more than 20 million Covid vaccine doses in a day on Friday in a record-breaking effort to mark PM Narendra Modi's 71st birthday.

He effort surpassed the country's previous daily record of more than 13 million doses on 27 August.

India aims to vaccinate all eligible Indians by the end of 2021 but experts say the drive needs to pick up a consistent pace to meet the target.

It has so far given more than 790 million doses of three approved jabs.

But doctors say that a third wave is likely given that the country has fully reopened even as the threat of new variants looms large.

While the vaccination drive has gained momentum, experts worry about a gender gap - government data shows 6% fewer women are getting vaccinated. This is especially true in rural India where women have limited access to the internet and are hesitant or scared to take the vaccine.

Although a higher number of doses are being administered daily in rural areas, the share of population being vaccinated in urban areas is still greater.
