Pegasus Report

A report that wasn’t from a single journalist or a single company a total of 17 media companies 80 journalists across the world with different languages collaborated with this report. We could estimate how big this issue is! There have been many malware attacks in the past in different ways such as sending it through opening links or messages, but spyware like Pegasus is a zero-click attack, where the user cannot escape from this virus if it’s injected into the smartphone.

Pegasus is a Greek mythological creature, A horse that has wings. In Greek mythology, it’s believed that Pegasus helped defeat evil and has been a symbol of inspiration. Pegasus is believed to have been immortal such a name is given to spyware is because of the traits it has. Pegasus spyware made headlines in July 2021 where approximately 50 k phone numbers worldwide were suspected to have been hacked which mainly consisted of politicians, journalists, activists, bureaucrats, and even tainted the judiciary where smartphones of Judges were tapped!

NSO

NSO was the company that created this spyware in 2016 where the intention was to make this software for the Government which was mainly to keep surveillance for any dangerous suspects, notably El Chappo a drug lord who was caught in Mexico by using this spyware. NSO has been in connection with the Government organizations of the countries where this spyware was bought and is answerable to them. The NSO claims that they just provide these Spywares to Government organizations who contact the Israeli ministry of defense and not to any private entities. These services are quite costly approximately 4 crore rupees for a single smartphone and 5 crores for installing it on 10 smartphones.

Pegasus Scandal

In July 2021, many news media came together to investigate the report and managed to get 50 k phone numbers that have been suspected of being a victim of the virus or a threat for the potential future that they can get hacked. A French-based Ngo Forbidden story with Amnesty International for technical support started this investigation where they went to different popular news media across the world such as The Guardian and Washington Post. They concluded this report by confirming that 1000 people have been identified to be a victim of Pegasus spyware. So what does Pegasus spyware does? All the data available in the smartphone gets hacked like Messages, Photos, Videos, Call history, Contacts and the spyware can also access Location, Microphone, and Camera. This spyware cannot be removed from the smartphone and there is no way to escape from it as it’s updated until Android 11 and IOS 14.6.

Countries, where this spyware was found to be, were the countries that have been in the lowest democratic index who are either governed by a dictator or a King, surprisingly the only democratic country found in the list was India.

Pegasus in India

Pegasus was suspected to have been bought by the government between 2017-2019 where 300 people have been identified that have been attacked. The list includes opposition leaders, Journalists, Activists, and shockingly a sitting judge in the supreme court! NSO has listed 10 countries which are UAE, Bahrain, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Togo, Rwanda, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Hungary, and India where this spyware was sold. Though there isn’t any official confirmation given by the government regarding their deal with the NSO, Government denied any connection with the Pegasus report. Media during this tried to defame Amnesty about 50 k phones were tapped but there isn’t any proper proof that it was, as many people refused to give their phones in laboratories to test but in response to this Amnesty told that these phones are either infected or could be potentially in the future. Even after a month, there hasn’t been any investigation and this hasn’t been treated like a scandal and has been seen more of a controversy like any acquisition towards the government. First time all the 3 pillars of democracy are falling apart.

Conclusion

This news made headlines all over the world even France president Emmanuel macron changed his mobile when he found that his name was on the list, many countries have started to investigate Pegasus except India. In the past we have been spied on, phones have been tapped but with proper permission and a reason for a specific amount of time but Pegasus is a surveillance device that constantly tracks your moments, the hacker just needs your mobile number and the phone gets tapped. In this technological world, Pegasus is a nuclear weapon that can be used to silence and suppress people in the name of national security so it becomes the responsibility for the country to stop making such kinds of spyware and to prevent making them, companies like NSO are a threat to the world as they are responsible for selling democracy in the name of spyware.

OLYMPICS

The greatest sporting event in the world, where athletes come to test their abilities and compete against the world for a medal, this medal is the symbol of hard work, dedication, and so many sacrifices by the sportsperson. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is responsible for planning, allocating the city, and supervising by sub-ordinating 3 events which are the Summer, Winter and Paralympics with different organizations which is the governing body to their respective bodies such as the FIFA for football. Ever since 1896 the summer Olympics have been conducted every 4 years except 1940 and 1944 due to WWII, the winter Olympics started in 1924 and the Paralympics which is conducted along with Summer and Winter is conducted every 2 years for disabled people started in 1960, the idea behind Paralympics was a gathering for British veterans in World war. But Olympics is conducted by the city allocated by the IOC which means the entire amount of money needed to conduct the Olympics has to be taken by the city/country and IOC just makes the budget as the city is chosen by an auction, with the highest bid the city is decided.

Summer Olympic Games

The summer Olympic games are conducted in a leap year, generally, people tend to refer Summer Olympics as the Olympics as most of the countries in the world send their athletes to conquer the medal tally. The viewership in the summer Olympics is the most as the sports played are more accessible to common people than the games in the Winter Olympics. The reason for such high viewership is because all the major sports have their tournaments like Football, tennis, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton and hockey which attracts almost everyone to watch their favourite sport where they can support their favourite team or player. A total of 336 events are conducted in the Olympics. Multi-Sports such as Swimming and Athletics have 63 events combined. Countries like Kenya, Jamaica and Ethiopia who have a poor economy tend to win many medals in Athletics, as much money isn’t required for the sport, and they have the advantage in their genes. In running, Jamaica has dominated the sport as they have the fastest man in the world Usain bolt and long races like steeplechase and Marathon Kenya and Ethiopia dominate. Developed countries always top the medal table as they have a stable economy. They allocate a sports budget used for the Facility, nutrition, and training of the athlete. For example, it takes the United Kingdom 5.5 million euros in the Rio Olympics (approx. 48 crores) to win a medal! A total of 345 million euros was the budget for Tokyo Olympics! Countries like the USA, Russia, China, United Kingdom and Germany are always in the top 10 of the medal table.

Winter Olympic games

Though a smaller number of events, participating countries and viewership compared to the summer Olympics, the cost to conduct the winter Olympics is more than the summer! A total of 92 countries competes for 102 events, the difference in summer and winter is of 2 years. Winter Olympics have only been conducted in 3 continents and 12 countries as economically, it’s not useful to conduct them. Ice hockey, Skiing, curling, figure skating and snowboarding are popular events in the winter Olympics.

Paralympics

As the name suggests, for physically disabled people both summer and winter are conducted. The Paralympics starts right after the completion of the respective Olympics. A total of 159 countries participated in the Rio Paralympics which featured 22 sports with 4328 athletes. In the recent winter Paralympic which was held in 2018, a total of 49 nations sent 569 athletes to compete in 80 events (6 sports). The Paralympics is a great initiative for physically disabled people as it gives them the motive to succeed there have been many athletes over the years who gave up on their life after being Physically disabled but Paralympics became a ray of hope for them, it helped them to run their household

India at the Olympics

India first participated in the Olympics in 1900 when it was under British rule where Norman Pritchard became the first athlete to win a medal. From 1920 India have been consistently sending athletes for the Olympic games. Hockey was dominated by India from 1928 to 1980 India won 11 medals 8 of them being Gold! India has good strength in Hockey, Boxing, Badminton, Shooting, Weightlifting, and wrestling. With a 1.4 billion population India has underperformed in the Olympics. Till 2020 India managed only to win 28 medals which is equal to the number of medals won by American swimmer Michael Phillips but Phillips beating the entire country as he has 23 Gold medals, and the medal tally depends upon Gold.

Tokyo 2020 became the best Olympics for India winning 7 medals in total including a gold,2 silver and 4 bronze, India placed at 48 th in the medal tally, this became a historic Olympic, not because of the medal tally but because the largest contingent of 119 athletes was sent and a gold medal in the Javelin throw. But this medal tally has not only improved but the performance of athletes was phenomenal many times we lost in knockouts which made us lose the medal by a whisker. Sports like Archery, Golf and discus throw and became a talking point rather than the usual sports though we didn’t win in these 3 sports, a ray of hope is there for future.

E-Learning

A learning system where teaching takes place at the home itself with the help of technology is known as E-learning. Earlier, When E-learning became a subject of the topic with the invention of the computer’s playing a vital role it was not accepted wholeheartedly as it was assumed that the involvement or the bond required in learning between teacher and the student was absent. The shift took place when Laptops, tablets replaced books and notebooks with people finding it was better to use technology because you can repeat the classes, clarify doubts, get more knowledge on the topic, Students who can access the Internet, research more on what they like, it shaped many people’s life as through the web people got the idea of their profession. Credit goes to Internet!

E-learning became a topic of discussion after work from home due to Lockdown. As it was safe for people to learn from their home as life has to continue even with the consequences which are suffered in the given condition. Many institutions preferred to change their curriculum to online, Teachers were given the training to teach online.

Pros:

Comfortable: Online classes are comfortable as students can learn from their home, there is no need for them to wake up early and can study from the bed itself!

Time-saving: As students just have to turn on their device they get connected to their class, lots of time is saved as going to and fro to their institution is saved. This time can be used for productive work.

Energy: The energy of students is conserved as going to and fro to their institution is saved, which saves two forms of energy one of the body and the mode of transport.

Interest: Students can learn more things online and can research more on what they like, their interest in learning will increase.

Connectivity: With proper devices such as a laptop and good internet connectivity, people can access knowledge 24/7.

Multi-tasking: Many tasks can be done in a single time, students can implement what they are thought at the same time of teaching.

CON’S:

1: Accessibility: The majority of the people don’t have a proper internet connection or don’t have any device to even attend the classes.

2. Method of teaching: Quality of Education is compromised as teacher’s find it hard to teach the way -the conventional way which they practised for ages.

3.Interaction: The interaction needed for learning between student and the teacher is not the same as attending in a classroom, it becomes difficult for slow learner’s-their doubts might not be clarified.

:4.Health issues: As seeing a screen for a longer amount of time can cause strain in the eye, As there isn’t much movement it becomes difficult to understand as there is no rest for the brain.

5. Mechanical learning: E-learning mostly takes place at the home itself, there’s no room for doing practical things, which can affect applying things.

6.Less productive: Humans need entertainment the average span one person can concentrate on at a time is 50 minutes, the constant break is required to refresh our brains and the best thing to tackle this is Friends- Which makes learning easier.

CONCLUSION :

There is no doubt that E-learning has its pro’s and con’s to it’s difficult to say which is better, it depends upon the person. Constant advancements in technology have changed the way people used to do it before, Mostly it has helped us increase productivity, but in cases like E-learning, it’s difficult to tell. While many teachers had to learn the technology to take classes the way of their teaching changed to an extent. So E-learning has affected both the students and teachers it isn’t the same as before. But at the times like these, Online classes are the only way, as life continues.

Discord is a group-chatting platform originally built for gamers. Discord is divided into servers, each of which has its members, rules, and channels. Discord has the feature to voice and video chat, as well as Livestream games – this has been the most attractive point as people just come to enjoy, playing games with friends. At a basic level, Discord is built to allow members to message each other. Each community is called a "server”.

Category: A category in the server separates the different uses for different functions performed, for example- A category Media is created for different channels. A category can be separated for voice and text channels.

Servers are filled with text channels -where you can type to talk to other people, give commands to bots and perform several functions with required inputs.

Voice channels where you can voice-chat with your friends, the reason why discord has become so popular is that it keeps the game volume separately from people in the channel.

Bot commands: There are many bots available that can be added to the server, these bots can do different functions with different commands. For example, The bot dank memer can be accessed with the command pls.

Cellular networks have been upgraded on course to improve connectivity and with each upgrade, in bandwidth, a new generation is defined based on its range. With generation, higher frequency radio waves are increased, but the physical range decreases with high frequency. A cellular network or mobile network works on the concept of wireless communication which is distributed over land areas called “cells”. A cell uses a different set of frequencies to avoid interference for better audio quality.

So when the increase of bandwidth in telecommunication is defined as generation,5 G or fifth generation is the successor of 4G or fourth generation, To provide better connectivity by giving higher download speed up to 10 Gigabits(GB) per second and will generate possibilities of IoT or internet of things.

Work on 5 G was started way back in April 2008 when NASA decided to develop 5G to enhance M2Mi Machine to Machine intelligence. Several works on 5G were conducted in countries like the US, South Korea, UK, China, India, Israel, Austria, Belarus, and the Philippines to pioneer in 5G wireless communication and were keen to develop lesser energy and less radio spectrum compared to 4G.

5G TECHNOLOGY

5G can be categorized based on Frequency range :

Frequency range 1 (< 6 GHz)

The maximum channel bandwidth defined for FR1 is 100 MHz.It can be beneficial in crowded spaces as the density of population is more, the consumption of people will be more henceforth a drop in signal can be faced.

Frequency range 2 (> 24 GHz)

The minimum channel bandwidth defined for FR2 is 50 MHz and the maximum is 400 MHz, with two-channel aggregation supported. In this frequency range, the transfer of data speed be faster and can be used with a reasonable amount of speed as the connectivity promised by the companies will not meet the reality, which is the speed received by the people.

FR2 coverage

5G in the 24 GHz range or above uses higher frequencies than 4G, and as a result, some 5G signals are not capable of traveling large distances (over a few hundred meters), unlike 4G or lower frequency 5G signals (sub 6 GHz).FR2 coverage can be best used where signal drops happen frequently, like shopping malls, basements, and Lifts.

5G IN INDIA

The main question is are we ready yet because the auction of the 5 G spectrum is yet to be decided, though big companies like Jio and Airtel are expected to be the ones introducing 5G to the people of India.

However, the spectrum slated for March 1 this year does not include the desired frequency band for 5G services. As per recent discussions, the 5G network will not require a separate SIM and reports have noted that the transition to 5G will be different from earlier cellular generation shifts. According to Qualcomm, "5G wireless technology is meant to deliver higher multi-Gbps peak data speeds, ultra-low latency, more reliability, massive network capacity, increased availability, and a more uniform user experience to more users."

In the recent parliamentary panel, headed by Lok Sabha MP Shashi Tharoor, it was highlighted that there would be a delay in the launch of 5G technology. As per the panel report tabled in the Parliament, the government expects 5G services to roll out by early 2022 after another spectrum auction that is planned to be held after six months. The Standing Committee on Information Technology pulled up the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) for the delay in the launch of 5G services when several countries have commercially rolled out the next-generation technology.

We can expect the launch of 5 G by end of this year or the start of 2022.

CHESS

Chess is a game of strategy and tactics, it was created in India, it's a miniature of war. It is played on a square chessboard with 64 squares arranged in an eight-by-eight grid. The object of the game is to checkmate the opponent's king, whereby the king is under a check and there is no way for it to escape.

Chess pieces are divided into two different coloured sets which are 'white' and 'black'. Each player has 16 pieces: one king, one queen, two rooks, two bishops, two knights, and eight pawns.

The game is played on a square board of eight rows (called ranks) and eight columns (called files).

CHESSPIECES :

Pawn :

A Pawn moves forward exactly one square but in the beginning, it can move two, toward the opponent's side of the board. The pawn captures pieces diagonally. If the pawn reaches a square on the last rank of the opponent, it is promoted to a queen, rook, bishop, or knight.

KNIGHT:

A Knight moves two squares forward and one in left or right or in simple words in L shape. Knight is the only piece that can jump over other pieces.

BISHOP :

A Bishop moves any number of squares diagonally in a straight line. A bishop stays on squares of the same colour throughout the game, which means that the two opposite squared bishops never intersect.

ROOK

A Rook moves any number of squares forwards, backwards, left, or right in a straight line. It can interchange its position with the king if no pieces are between them it's called castling.

QUEEN:

The Queen is the strongest piece, it's a combination of a bishop and rook which makes it so powerful, it can move anywhere if it's in the centre except a knight it can't jump.

KING :

The game of chess revolves around the King. It might not be as powerful as a queen since it moves only one square in any direction, but the protection of the king is the most important job.

A-CHESS Game can be categorised into 3 parts, which are :

OPENING: There are many opening's in a chess game, so every player moves according to his suitability. The opening should be done in the centre, to capture the centre, all pieces should be developed and the King has to be protected.

MIDDLE GAME: The middlegame is the part of the game which starts after the opening. There is no clear line between the opening and the middlegame, but typically the middlegame will start when most pieces have been developed. The middle game can be the trickiest as the right moves have to be played, tactics and understanding of the game become the factor which decides the fate of the game.

ENDGAME: The endgame is the stage of the game when there are few pieces left on the board. Here the King plays a major role as most of the pieces are either exchanged or lost, The main objective becomes to promote the pawn and checkmate the opponent's King.

A drone, in technological terms, is an unmanned aircraft. Drones are more formally known as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) or unmanned aircraft systems (UASes). In simple words, a Drone is a flying robot that can be controlled by a controller or a joystick.

Initially, UAVs were made to be used by the military, they were used for anti-aircraft target practice, intelligence gathering, and more controversially, as weapons platforms.

It was tested for daily uses, in a wide range of civilian roles ranging from search and rescue, surveillance, traffic monitoring, weather monitoring and firefighting, personal drones and business drone-based photography, and videography, agriculture, and even delivery services.

TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENT

Drones were initially used as weapons, Countries like Italy, the US and Israel made drones or UAVs. Like all electronic devices, Drones have also been upgraded for more applications. This can be explained by the number of generations.

Generation 1: Basic remote control for the movement of drones.

Generation 2: Static design which made drones to be easily controlled. A camera was fixed in it for video recording and still photos, manual piloting control was tested.

Generation 3: Two-axis gimbals, HD video(720 p), basic safety models, assisted piloting.

Generation 4: Transformative designs, three-axis gimbals, 1080P HD video or higher-value instrumentation, improved safety modes, autopilot modes for defining a path that a drone could move in.

Generation 5: 360° gimbals, 4K video or higher-value instrumentation, intelligent piloting modes with GPS installation.

Generation 6: Commercial suitability, safety and regulatory standards-based design, platform and payload adaptability, automated safety modes, intelligent piloting models and full autonomy, airspace awareness

Generation 7: Auto action (takeoff, land, and mission execution ).

APPLICATION OF DRONES

1. AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY: Drones are now being used to capture footage that would otherwise require expensive helicopters and cranes. These autonomous flying devices are used in sports photography for live broadcasts.

2. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY: Major companies like Amazon, UPS, and DHL are in favor of drone delivery. Drones could save a lot of manpower and shift unnecessary road traffic to the sky. Besides, they can be used over smaller distances to deliver small packages like food, letters, and medicines as their deliveries would be faster.

3. GEOGRAPHIC MAPPING: Drones can acquire very high-resolution data and download imagery in difficult-to-reach locations like coastlines, mountaintops, and islands. They are also used to create 3D maps.

4. DISASTER MANAGEMENT: Drones provide quick means, after a natural or man-made disaster, to gather information, navigate to look for injured victims. Its high-definition cameras, sensors, and radars give rescue teams access to a higher field of view, saving the need to spend resources on manned helicopters. Where larger aerial vehicles would prove perilous or inefficient, drones can provide a close-up view of areas thanks to their small size.

5.SEARCH AND RESCUE: The presence of thermal sensors gives drones night vision and makes them a powerful tool for surveillance. Drones are able to discover the location of lost persons and unfortunate victims, especially in harsh conditions or challenging terrains. A drone can be utilized to lower a walkie-talkie, GPS locator, medicines, food supplies, clothes, and water to stranded victims before rescue crews can move them to someplace else.

BLACK, WHITE AND YELLOW FUNGUS

ABOUT FUNGUS:-

Before we look upon the topic we must know what a fungus is,

As we studied in school, a fungus is any member of the group of eukaryotic organisms that includes microorganisms such as yeasts and molds. These organisms are classified as a kingdom, separately from the other eukaryotic kingdoms such as protozoa and Plantae. Fungus is also called an environmental contaminant.

In recent times Black fungus or Mucormycosis is in talks these days as these are spreading in our country, Black fungus or Mucormycosis is not a new fungus in fact it has been existed and infected before but just like Corona, these are considered to be opportunistic infections which means it doesn’t have much effect in normal conditions but can be fatal when someone’s immune system is considered to be weak as the person is suffering from another disease.

BLACK FUNGUS:-

ABOUT:-

First of all, black fungus is a very rare disease that is caused by a poor or compromised state of immunity. These come from the Mucorales family, mostly found everywhere in our environments, such as in soil, decaying fruits, and vegetables. It affects the sinuses, the brain, and the lungs and can be life-threatening in diabetic or severely immunocompromised individuals, such as cancer patients or people with HIV/AIDS.

Black fungus is spread in the following ways:-

Air:-

While breathing, these fungi might be present in small spores which enter through our nose and infect our lungs.

Food:-

Decaying foods contain these fungi on the surface, when we eat, the fungus enters our stomach.

Wounds:-

The pores of fungus will enter our body through the surface of our skin from our wounds.

But mostly it's found that the black fungus is spread through the air, as we breathe it enters through our nose which affects the nasal cavity and sinus which causes a reduction in blood flow, and black spots or black discoloration is found under eyes that’s why it's called a Black fungus.

The Black fungus mainly affects the eyes and brain which causes headache, seizure and in extreme cases causes blindness.

The area in which it is affected in our body determines symptoms of Black fungus.

If it's affected in Sinus:- Toothache, headache, fever, and nasal congestion happens.

If it's affected in Lungs:- Fever, chest pain, cough and shortness of breath happens.

If it's affected in the Skin in the region of the wound, the surface turns black.

If it's affected in the stomach:- Abdominal pain, Nausea, and vomiting happen.

To diagnose Biopsy, x-rays, Ct scans and be done.

Treatment can be done by giving Antifungal drugs and by surgery on the surface of the wound.

Prevention of black fungus for Diabetes patients is to control their sugar level and to avoid taking steroids as It decreases immunity.

White and Yellow Fungus:-

Black, white and yellow fungus isn’t that different, the infections caused by these fungi are similar. The reasons behind these are also the same, weakened immune system, only the symptoms are different. In White fungus, the person’s tongue changes to shite in color, the oral cavities, and the food pipe contain white patches, spreading in the ear and eye.

The Yellow fungus is quite deadlier than the black and white as it develops internally in the body and the infection enters through the air.

All the three fungus namely Black, White and Yellow are not contagious till yet as shown from studies, which means they cannot be spread from person to person.

Conclusion:-

The Black-White and Yellow fungus are rare diseases, it infects person only with the poor or compromised immune system, which means it will not spread that much, but any disease which usually is rare has a high mortality, same goes to Black fungus which has 50 percent of death for people suffering from Aids, Cancer, and Diabetes. So patients suffering from these should be careful. The main cause of the spread of this fungus is due to Air, so the surroundings should be cleaned. Make sure not to have decayed fruits and vegetables by storing them properly, also take care of your body.

If you are a healthy person with no health issues chance of getting infected is very rare, but the mortality rate is quite a risk factor and there is a famous saying “Prevention is Better than Cure “, So make sure to look at the causes and try to prevent them, Other causes of black fungus can be Overuse of Antibiotics, Zinc supplements and the main and one of the shocking one would be steam inhalation.

Steam inhalation, which was suggested by many people and was also said to be one of the cures to COVID-19. Steam inhalation will increase the chance of getting the fungus due to Air deeply breathed by us during inhaling steam. Also, steam has many pores which increase the risk.

The only reason why Black fungus outrage was faced in India was due to the wrong use of Steroids for Covid. Some doctors claim that unnecessary prescription of Steroids made some patient's immune system low which made Black fungus infect easily. So usage of steroids should be only when SP02 level is below 90 or with a proper prescription.

Online scams or internet fraud involves usage of the internet and comes under cybercrime for misuse of internets such as hiding information, providing wrong information such as showing wrong data by manipulating numbers, But on a larger scale which could affect someone financially by tricking the victim for money and property. Cybercrime is different from theft as the victim unknowingly gives information that becomes a source for these scams.

TYPES OF SCAMS

1.CHARITY/DONATION

The most common type has been’ charity fraud’ where the scammer asks for donations for a social cause such as for food, cloth, shelter for poor people, cancer donation, funds for education. In times of crisis such as in financial and natural calamities where the scammer sends a note about the cause for donation and ask to send money by clicking the ‘link’ or it could even be from unsecured websites which pops advertisement and by clicking that ad it will lead to their website.

The Reason behind charity fraud as a common online scam is because it plays with people’s emotions by making them either showing photos or by giving false hopes and promises for bringing change in society.

2.SOCIAL MEDIA

Social media fraud is increasing nowadays with more people getting access to the internet, they make their social media where they share their information such as name, age, place where they reside DOB, etc. This information is collected in large numbers which becomes a database where fake ids are created. This could be dangerous as the scammer can misuse someone’s identity.

3.ONLINE TICKET BOOKING

Online ticket booking is a type of fraud which mainly happens for concerts or sports events as on such occasion the tickets get sold out easily. The fraudster either sells fake tickets or the tickets are never delivered. This type of fraud usually happens when tickets get sold out and these websites to resell tickets at a higher price than the cost of tickets.

4.PURCHASE/ONLINE SHOPPING

Purchase fraud is similar to online tickets as the consumer's goods are either never delivered or it would be a fake item.

5.MAKE MONEY ONLINE

Make money online easily is a scam where the fraudster will ask for a small amount of money to be deposited in his bank account where he claims to increase the money an exponential rate. This might come even in advertisements that this individual invested in this stock or cryptocurrency and became rich.

CONCLUSION

These types of scams will continue to happen and it can only be avoided by us, the users as the scammer tricks us by our emotions, we should be aware of these mentioned scams as it is a common type. While using the internet we should be careful. To avoid these types of scams we have to use secured websites and should not click any unknown link or download from unknown websites. National security is one of the important aspects in which the government of a country usually focuses on. The budget allocated to it has a major percentage in their GDP. Though countries are trying to maintain good relationships, promoting peace around the world, and trying to avoid war and clashes, the Budget on Defense has been increased year after year.

The USA spends more budget on defense combined 10 countries in the G20!

DEFENSE DEPARTMENTS

There are many Departments in Defense but the most known would be Army, Air force, and Navy. These Departments have agencies that report to the national level. Police Doesn’t come under defense as they report to the state, So in a Federal type of democracy State government has powers and the rights of the Police.

Defense departments have been assigned in such a way that certain operations are allotted to them.

Army- The Ground or land forces consist of Corps, Divisions, Brigade, Battalion.

The field army is responsible for controlling borders situated inland, for international breach.

The other way to classify an army would be by its formation. A particular army Is distinguished by the number of people and by their respective regiment.

Navy- The maritime force has a principle focus designated to control the coast, surrounding the border of their country. The base of the navy is a port that is specialized for operations.

Navy is classified into:

Bluewater- It operates far from the coastal waters of their nation. These ships primarily track the moments in the water for long periods of time and have logistical support.

Brown Water- It operates the coastal periphery along inland waterways, where containers with large vessels coming from other countries by trading or from exporting are checked, these vessels cannot readily enter.

Green Water- A localized force that operates the waters inland and provides support to the Bluewater navy.

Air force- Air force comes under the national military branch, it is the aerial force of the army and navy which controls the sky of a country. The air force is divided in the same manner as the military. Basically, it has 3 types of fighters:

Fighter, Attacker, and Bomber which is directly reported to regiments and squadrons.

After the security of a nation, some security to VIP is given. People who are provided with this security have risks which involve death threats. Local police and government protect these ‘important ‘ individual depending upon the scale of threat.

There are 5 types of security covers which are given to the individual that are important to the national interest, Like the President, Prime minister, Vice president, Chief justice, and so on. These are SPG, Z+, Z, X, and Y+.

Y+ Controversy

The Y+ security cover is given only to 15 people in our nation, like The Chief justice of our country but recently this cover was given to a Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut without any threat or proof of threat! This proves that people who are close to the government can get security from the money of Taxpayers!

CONCLUSION

National security involves the Defense of our nation which is from protecting the borders of our country to protect VIP’s and VVIP’s, all this money comes from the taxpayers! Approximately 5-10 percent of our GDP is given to defense while Education and Health combined is about 8 percent. Even developed countries are spending so much money on defense. Still, in our country, we face problem in the borders and faults in the Police is quite evident due to a bad system in which Police are puppets of Politicians and the main focus is to protect people influenced with Government while in our country for namesake everyone is said to be equal.

E-sports or electronic sports is a form of sport which is played online, A set of games which often involve multiplayer system is considered to be under eSports. There has been a lot of development in e-sports due to the advancement of technology. E-sports was started in late 2000 where the participation of professional gamers who played video games, streamed online for viewers, and just like any other sport these were sponsored by companies or big industries as it was a new form of sport and it had the capability to reach a large audience.

In 2010, the video gaming industry had a boom in sales due to the participation of live streamers or professional players in E-sports, which led video games to announce their own tournaments. It was estimated that E-sports had a viewership of 454 million with overall revenue to 1 billion us dollars!

E-sports has many genres of video games such as battle arena, first-person shooter(FPS), fighting, real-time strategy, and the most popular genre in today’s time ‘The Battle Royal’. Video games like Counterstrike, League of Legends, and Dota were very famous games.

RECOGNITION

Popularity was one of the key factors due to which online video games were considered to become a sport. As in early 2000s, E-sports were criticized for not being sport due to comparison with outdoor sports like Soccer and Football in the United States as E-sports didn’t have a large audience. Even after tournaments and events got popular whenever the topic of E-sport came, journalists in Television denied considering it as sports.

But the perspective of E-sport was changed after the conduct of the World Championship by the International E-sport federation which received a positive response from the audience.

In 2017, finally, E-sports got the attention it wanted and to be considered as a sport was due to the discussion of the Olympic Committee (IOC), the summit was held on October 2017 though no official confirmation has come from the committee but the perspective of people changed.

E-SPORTS IN INDIA

E-Sports came late in India as it was not recognized as a Sport. Though many games which were in E-sports were available in India, But no official tournament or Event was held, So there was not a big market share of online games India. But it changed by the famous battle royal game ‘PUBG’ or Player Unknown Battlegrounds which made E-sport become a sport in India as the key factor popularity was received. Many tournaments were held and Many YouTubers became live streamers. Soon online games became popular as it was more accessible because many games were available on all platforms.

PUBG BAN

The infamous Ban imposed on PUBG was a shock for many youngsters as it was a part of the second digital strike by our government on china including 116 other mobile applications.

Many youngsters used to play PUBG and soon became a household name but unfortunately due to Tencent ownership on PUBG led to this Ban. PUBG was banned due to section 69A in the Information technology act or the national security act as allegation were imposed that PUBG is a threat to the nation as they have user’s Data.

In my opinion E-sports has a very good future as it also requires what a Sport requires which is Accuracy, Precision and Discipline, Some people have made this as Profession, a way of livelihood. Though there is scope in Online gaming and Streaming. To survive in this field people have to be as focused, consistent, and unique which basically every field requires. Many streamers have become as successful as a celebrity, People should definitely see the potential in E-sports, as The gaming industry now has become more popular than many sports leagues.

RACISM

Racism was a topic that was in the news headlines due to a disturbing event. The concept of racism began in European countries during the age of imperialism and growth of capitalism, Europeans felt themselves superiors when they were in African countries due to their skin tone and forced the dark-colored people to serve them and made them slaves. Since then, black colored people are stereotyped that they are lower class people and tend to commit crimes. South Africa was the worst affected country during the time of Apartheid.

RACISM IN USA

The major push on segregation of people happened in the United States of America during the late 19^th in the early 20^th century. This led to many genocides such as the Holocaust, The American genocide, and genocide of Serbs. Racism in the USA can be seen openly as the term “Blacks” was given to them, salaries given to them was less. They couldn't get higher posts. They are always made fun in entertainment shows and movies. At a scene of the crime, always the black people are suspected as criminals.

GEORGE FLOYD

George Floyd was an African American who was killed by a White officer Derek Chauvin during an arrest after allegedly using a 20 dollar fake note in a supermarket. Floyd was a resident in Minneapolis Minnesota, where this disturbing incident happened, Some people shouted at the police officer to leave Floyd but the officer kept his knee at Floyd’s neck. For a mere 20 dollars (1400 Rs) costed the life of George Floyd. Many people uploaded videos of this incident in social media which went viral and people started a moment called ‘Black Lives Matter’.

Black lives matter not only created awareness on Racism in the USA but it became a worldwide movement, protest were not only held in the USA but in many European countries which is ironical!

RACISM IN INDIA

Racism in India might not be a major problem compared to European countries and the USA but still, it exists! Though most Indians are brown in color but still tease people on black skin tone. Fairness creams and cosmetics are sold in millions of rupees because people want to become White-colored! Advertisements have contributed immensely as they sell their products by telling Beauty means success. Movies and Entertainment shows have comedy scenes that are very much racist.

Racism is a very sensitive topic. People are born with different skin colors. Even if you are joking, the other person might get hurt, he might think it as a barrier which will haunt him for the rest of his life. First things first, I want to clear out that this article is not about feminism or social equality.

It's about BEING A GIRL!

Although I am born into a body that is labeled as a FEMALE. So being a woman means sharing a special connection and corner that is above the race, age, sexuality, social oppressions!

Honestly, I am not a person who is chasing big dreams to fly up above the sky but I do have some exquisite expectations with life ! ( Believing the LORD ). I admire myself for staying true to MYSELF. It's okay not to be okay sometimes. You should know how to deal with it. You can run from everything, the situation, the feelings, the emotions but how could you escape from selfhood. Darling, it's you. You are incomplete if you are not real or true to yourself. You can be a bold-face liar, who always try to convince herself that things were better than they seemed but u can't deny the reality...the truth. So staying true with yourself is most important!

Clouds will swallow our space! same as the clouds swallow the emptiness of the sky. Don't allow anyone to control your individuality.

Balancing the chaotic world

Adjustment is not only for females, Both men and women live in this society, so it's quite obvious that adjustments are *favourous from us. But here, I am talking about the adjusting phases of a woman. *(Being a woman)*

When you wake up in the morning, you should give a moment to yourself. "we have so much to personify " my girls!

Stand in front of the mirror and give a look at every new crevice, every roll of skin, and every scar.

The minute we leave the house, some special characterized men will start eyeballing you. Next, off to work. A man on the bus or in any *crowded place will think it's okay to press up against you. It's fairly in their mind that you are actually present for this. ( A served meal in front of them to fall on ). And you know what " The cherry on the cake " is, there are some women who have these expressions like "JUST LET IT GO" or "AVOID IT " and I'll tell you what's the reason behind this : Feeling insecure, shyness, lack of confidence, etc. Talking about adjustments... the first person who clicks in our mind is our MOTHER. She is the spine of the family! With endless love and patience, she holds us. No matter what the situation is. Though it's wrong to say that she adjusts for their children or family because through her perception it's called "ETERNAL LOVE ". But we are nowhere in a stage to understand what's called "love " and what's called to "Accommodate "! *(think about it)*

SOFTNESS IS NOT ABOUT WEAKNESS

"Softness is not weakness. It takes courage to stay delicate in a world this cruel"

"Girls are likely to be soft " is a customized sentence that is usually used to describe females. Well, I have no problem with this. I personally feel we girls are softer in comparison to another sexual role.[ General discussion]

But, Do you all really understand what I want to elaborate about SOFTNESS? I don't think so. There are many of us who thinks softness means "weakness ", It's a trait (character) which means to be " down-and-out " ! But I really feel sorry for them. Their boundaries of mind's exertion are quite small!

Being soft (for any sexuality) is about that they have the admiration to deal with circumstances by their calmness, politeness, delicacy, and love (as a power of their gaze) in this harsh and cruel society. And I think that's the strongest person! So being soft is "Not in the same street "!

Apart from this discussion about softness... There are many who after destruction or break-down, lock themselves inside a hardened core. Their heart became a burden for them. They Start distrusting and resenting that soft corner. In the end, it becomes so nakedly vulnerable.

EMOTIONS

While listening in our daily routine, females are too emotional, too sensitive!

Are women more emotional than men?

Maybe. Men could be described as more emotional than women too. It depends on the sort of emotion and how it is being expressed. Most researchers agreed that women are more emotionally expressive. But not that they have more emotions than men. In numerous studies, females score higher than Males in standard tests of emotion recognition, social sensitivity, and empathy. Women share their emotions more openly with others as compared to men.

Research shows that women are more likely to experience intense positive emotions. ( in a normal language we can say "POSITIVITY".) Such as joy and happiness in any way as compared to men. So, it seems that women's intense positive emotions balance out their higher risk of depression. And finds that they are more likely to access the treatment successfully__ as they allow themselves to recover faster.

The other side of this discussion is women are more likely to prioritize the needs of others over their own __ and over time this can lead to resentment and feeling unfulfilled.

INTUITION OR SIXTH-SENSE

There is a movie "THE SIXTH-SENSE " Haley Joel Osment's special ability is seeing and talking to dead people. Well I gave this information to you so that you can part the fiction and reality in two different ways.

Intuition or sixth sense is just an extra-sensory perspective beyond our five commonly recognized senses: Hearing, Taste, Smell, Sight, and Touch. It is as normal as our five senses. It's not about becoming something supernatural. Yah but you can say women are more privileged in this section.

Women sixth-sense is scientifically described as women tend to have better bilateral use of their brains. In other words, they use both sides of the brain. They pay more attention to the right side of the brain, which is responsible for more intuitive perception. And to allow more intuition, brought up more in touch with their feelings.

As we know there is adrenaline or simply adrenal gland in our body which helps us to react simultaneously. Though sixth-sense is so coinciding with the qualities for women.

EDUCATION POLICY

ABOUT

Education policy in India was not been changed in the past 28 years which means, there was no initiative or development that took place in the education system in India from 1992. Almost Two generations had the same curriculum. India a country where youth is majority but still, the same system of learning was followed from our parent’s time! Most of the country has developed its system of education according to their need, but now in 2020, our government has come up with a new promising education policy.

NEW EDUCATION POLICY

The New Education Policy or NEP 2020 has come up with major changes, The 10+2 system has been replaced with 5+3+3+4 in which preschool from age 3-8 or foundational stage, 8-11 the preparatory, 11-14 is middle school and 14-18 is secondary. The NEP provides a broader way of learning as vocational subjects for students in 6^th– 8^th class has been introduced, in which students have a workshop for 10 days. Course like coding has been introduced in middle school. Subjects like Work Experience have been promoted and, it can replace core subjects.

A major change has been seen in higher secondary where students are divided into 3 groups (Science, Commerce, Humanities). Subjects were different for these 3 groups but now there can be a replacement or interlink in the subjects. For example, A student who has taken Science can replace physics with History or Civics and this is applicable to all 3 groups.

ADVANTAGES

This Education policy has many advantages, first of all, is the promotion of pre-school, which is not in government schools. Pre-school could teach manners, good habits, and basic knowledge of subjects. In this new system, secondary schooling has been improved with the promotion of vocational subjects. In higher secondary students can prefer their own subjects to study, All three groups have been interlinked.

The most important thing is New Education Policy focuses more on Knowledge than Marks. Exams would be conducted in such a way that students have to think more practical rather than rot learning.

DISADVANTAGES

In New Education Policy, learning in mother tongue or state’s language has been prompted for students till primary, though it is not compulsory but, English has to be promoted for students as it is useful for communication. Also, let’s take an example of a student who studies in a state till 5^th, and then their family move to another state then learning would be difficult as the medium of teaching becomes a barrier.

The interlink on subjects for higher education can create confusion on admission in college as all 3 major courses have been clubbed up.

CONCLUSION

This education policy has mostly positive things and could cover up the Education System which was criticized for being rigid, focused only on marks and not on learning. This policy looks flexible and has covered all the major points of learning and could prove the overall development of a student.

But it should not be claimed as a revolutionary change as we can clearly see, this policy has been taken from countries like USA, Germany and Singapore as all changes are already present in these countries.

This Educational policy seems to be more theoretical rather than practical, As we have to see how they imply this Education system.

In our daily lives, the way we slammed with our own matters is so quite obvious!

But actually, we are so-called materialized with the persuasion of cynosure

(Attracting personality). An individual personality is the combination of traits and

patterns that influence their behaviour, thoughts and emotions. So, here we go

through as a part of the personality,

" THE INTROVERSION "

Introversion is a personality trait characterized by a focus on internal feelings rather than on external sources of stimulation. Introverts are in a state of "Alexithymia" ( unable to express their feelings). They are always in a search of an abditory ( A hiding place).

Introversion doesn't mean as same as "social anxiety or shyness ". Introverts aren't different, they have the same feelings what bring out in others. They aren't mentally disabled or having peculiar psychology, they just have a different manner of expressing themselves.

Nowadays, many from us pigeonholed the status of "INTROVERSION " to " EGOCENTRIC ". The thinking says that how self-serving are they? That they even can't relief themselves to talk us? How arrogant are they?

That's how people being misunderstood!

This is so right that they usually don't talk to many people but the fact is, introverts also talk, share their opinions, emotions and feelings very hardly expressible to lean ones. They aren't able to express in front of more. They get tremble to explicit their sentiments because they think that people would control their lives. So, that's why they want to be in a sensation of Xenisation ( Act as a stranger ) and they love to be an Autophile.

INTROVERSION ARE OF FOUR TYPES

1. SOCIAL INTROVERSION

Social introversion is about socializing with small groups instead of large ones or of no group at all. Solitude is their first preference.

2. RESTRAINED INTROVERSION

Restrained introversion is for the ones who think before speaking or before acting. Their actions are dependable on their mind's decision.

3. THINKING INTROVERSION

Thinking introversion means you are pensive and introspective. You look inside yourself and self-reflect often.

4. ANXIOUS INTROVERSION

Anxious introversion is about the feeling of self consciousness they mainly prefer staying in home and far from social interactions.

INTROVERTED STUDENTS

Many factors describe student's characteristics in unfamiliar aspects of fields. Here, Introverted student, find difficulty to light up their acts on different stages of student life.

Introverted students tend to enjoy solitude and concentrate on their thoughts. They live in their own space. They don't make friends circles or even not a single friend. Introvertism in a student is quite inferiosing. This graded lower the level of confidence in a student. And apparently, extroverts like to be socializing and seeks attention while Introverted students have a solitary learning style.

The fact is quite harsh but still, we have to accept that we live in a society who carved out for " EXTROVERTS". So to be in a race they should generally be " The life and soul of the party "!

MENTAL STATUS

Actually, introverts are quite sensible and enough mentally strong leading obsevateur humaine in nature. Extroverts may be known for being comfortable in navigating social situations. But it finds that introverts may be better than extroverts at observing and understanding the social behaviour of people in group settings. A skill that is useful in knowing how to effectively lead the mental status of a person. They are the humaine observateur without connecting socially. They can understand a person's behaviour by psychology. So, you can assume how it would be beneficial.

BEST CAREER PLANNING DEALS

In contrary, because introverts are better listeners, They can lead to excellent "psychologists and Therapists ". Their strength is to be an INTROVERT. It will help them in empathising and making a critical analysis of clients as they would be offering advice without dominating conversations.

So, At last, I just end up by saying personality is a part of yourself which comforts your self- esteem. Either it is Introvertism or Extrovertism but should be foremost by your side.

Over the years the widespread of Cricket is not only due to its game but also by globalization. Cricket was invented in southeast England in the 16th century to show their superiority as they played cricket in their colonies in which they used to bat all the time but now due to the technological advancements we have bowling machines. Technology has played a factor by which the game has become more exciting and accessible.

GLOBALIZATION OF CRICKET

Malcolm Speed played a great role in globalization as he saw the potential in the game. He is an Australian businessman and the former CEO of the ICC. He knew the revenue generated from cricket would be enormous, so by broadcasting, making huge stadiums the viewership in cricket expanded. More countries realized this and wanted to become the associative countries or part of the ICC. Now cricket is played nearly in 105 countries!

TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS

Though there have been minor changes in the cricketing kit, But technology in cricket is vital such as there are cameras covering 360 degrees including a camera on umpire’s hat, The stumps now comes with LED lights also the stump mic for conversations between the players which sometimes is used for sledging! The scoreboard in stadiums which was manually done was replaced by technology which gave better features such as runs scored, fours and sixes by a player etc.

But the most important thing which technology made cricket amazing was by it’s DRS or the Decision Reviewing System or previously known as UDRS. This made the decision making more easier for umpires as a third umpire was given access to the footage which he could see in slow motion to give accurate decision.

Mainstream education is based on the idea of educating children in a systematic way according to their age group or in other words classroom teaching. Students attend classes according to their schedule or time table given by the educating authority for learning in a proper way or regarding their capability to learn. Most of the schools practice mainstream learning to develop the basics of core concepts which is applied in daily life.

MAIN STREAM EDUCATION IN INDIA AND IN OTHER COUNTRIES

Main stream education in India is also like our mainstream media which focuses only on few topics and does not give any other choices! Unlike most countries which gives freedom to students on taking subjects they like or prefer, in our country it is mandatory to take the core subjects till 10 th. In countries like Germany, USA , Singapore, till their 6 th grade or till primary level it is mandatory to study core subjects like English, Science and Mathematics, But when they qualify for secondary level they have their choice to study subjects they prefer which can even be vocational subjects which replace core subjects for their interest and growth towards the subject.

In India till 10 th grade we have to study the same subjects which could reduce the interest of learning as core subjects is given more weightage than the vocational subjects. It not only happens in India, countries in middle east like UAE have CBSE or ICSE also gives importance to core subjects .

ADVANTAGES OF MAINSTREAM EDUCATION

Mainstream education gives a sense of equality as students come from different backgrounds are collectively studying the same topics. There is a single teacher for all of the students in the same classroom so learning and competition can be considered logical to an extent. Mainstream education does not discriminates students on disabilities which is different than inclusive education, this gives confidence to the disabled people as they get some perks to provide equality to all, despite their religion, caste and gender.

DISADVANTAGES OF MAINSTREAM EDUCATION

Though Mainstream education is practiced mostly and has been proven to be effective to most of the students, It has also made education to be considered only on the basis of marks. Students sometimes lose interest on the subjects as marks and exams becomes a barrier towards learning. People often judge students based on their marks and not on the knowledge of their subject, In a 3 hour long exam the amount of knowledge cannot be tested or judged.

In India mainstream education is more focused on courses like Engineering, MBBS, Commerce … Well that’s it! Often students don’t prefer vocal courses, Humanities which is even a Mainstream course due to how relatives and friends think as the criteria to get admission is less, Even some of the best schools do not provide Humanities (Arts).

In Germany, course like plumbing can give jobs which pay salary equal to that of an engineer! In USA, college degree is often not considered to get a job. These things cannot be imagined in India.

CONCLUSION

Mainstream education is not that systematic and logical even though most of the schools practice it, Mainstream education which was supposed to be the best way of learning has flaws in it’s execution area like by exams and marks. Education should be more focused on learning and growth of the children and it can only be accomplished by taking subjects in which a particular students prefer . Interest should matter rather than society which is more focused on core subjects. Unemployment will also increase as there would be lack of jobs , In India unemployment rates are increasing due to the fact that people are concentrating only on getting a white collar job. So chose your course according to your interest as it will increase efficiency and would be useful for development of our country.

What is mental health ?

Mental health is one of the topic’s which is considered to be a taboo to talk in an Indian household. Just like our body has muscles and bones (physical health) which requires rest, same goes to our nerves in our brain(mental health) which plays an important function even for a simple task. Our Brain has trillions of neurons which are active even when we are asleep, at the time our body, which includes muscles and bones , has been relaxed or refreshed . The activities which we do, not only affects our body to get tired, it has it’s effects on our brain too.

Why Mental Health is Important ?

We are living in an era of evolution where it’s common to hear the quote “Life is a Race”, Thanks to the growth of technology which made it possible to increase the stress and pain unknowingly, Technology has been a factor by which people have become impatient, anxious, It has led people even to be Depressed . Mental Health is important because it has replaced the physical health to today’s mental health as now what we require to do is fulfilled by our brain, physically we only need our hands to do the job.

Why Mental Health Is A Taboo?

Whenever people address their pain or tell how they spent their day they talk about their physical health which they think what the work was about, but we are living in 2020, everything is mostly done by technology which played a significant role in enhancing our capabilities. No one wants to address their emotions even to their loved ones due to the stigma or fear on how the other will take it. By talking about their emotions the other’s might think he has gone ‘mental’ or a ‘psychopath ’ which, by the way, are the most extreme cases , It happens due to the way it has been shown in movies, news channels or by social media, and mostly due to whatsapp forwards! From this pandemic and due to recent events which made headlines, people have understood how important mental health is.

Mental illness and Social Media

No scientific study has been done specifically on mental health and social media, But social media can be a factor of increasing or even creating mental health related issues like stress, anxiety and in severe cases, depression. Anxiety created by social media could be due to the fact that people can’t be like who they admire, or celebrities which they follow. Most people in social media do show off but they don’t lead that exciting life. People do get influenced by celebs or influencer's daily activities which creates fascination or people tend to live in a dreamland but when they realize the reality they get disappointed ,in most of the cases it could get sorted out but the impact which happened with them can’t be measured, unlike a bone fracture it can’t be fixed. In severe cases it leads to depression.

How can we cure Mental Health ?

First step of treatment in mental health would be: By giving importance as equal to physical health. Some people might claim that by doing yoga, meditation, listening to music, sleeping for more time will help, But honestly there is no medicine to cure it .Doctor’s prescribe some of the medicine for depression but there is no scientific study which can prove it can cure your problems. It depends on person to person how they take care of themselves, basically it’s their will power to overcome and to get back on their feet !

Conclusion

Mental health must be taken seriously we might even see more cases of people suffering from it, If a person is not feeling well, please don’t make jokes on them just by hearing their problems might even be more than enough to make them feel good. Please don’t use complex words like depression to explain your feelings, don’t use these words for a daily chit chat, being sad is totally different from suffering mental illness. Mental illness cannot spread from person to person so don’t hesitate to help others. Consequences and sufferings might be painful but we have only one life, live it to the fullest !

The Cityhawk eVTOL(electrical vertical takeoff and landing) flying car by metro skyways, a subsidiary company of Israeli-based aerodynamic technologies developer, urban aeronautics, will run on hydrogen.

According to the company, hydrogen is the only 100% environmentally friendly power source, as it can be produced using solar and wind power. unlike batteries, hydrogen fuel cell battery technology doesn't have a limited life cycle and generates zero toxic waste.

Indian Opportunities

The founders of Israeli company Urban Aeronautics, have said that they are open to setting up a manufacturing unit in India. The company has been working on the project⁠ for two decades and is looking to raise $40 million.

Many of you may know about the formula for the addition of 'n' Natural Numbers which is (n)(n+1)/2.

And if you don't, then let me tell you about it. So if you want to add consecutive Natural Numbers, then you would use the formula (n)(n+1)/2 where n is the number up to which you want to do addition.

Let's take an example. I want to add all the natural numbers from 1 to 50, then here n would be 50, and the answer would be (50)(50+1)/2 which is 1275.

Now it got a little boring, so allow me to tell you a great story behind this small equation, an equation's story, all of you will find intriguing.

In the late 18th century there was math prodigy named Carl Friedrich Gauss who was faced with a tedious problem, the addition of numbers from 1 to 100.

But the fascinating thing was he figured a way around it. He made an equation to add natural numbers from 1 to any no. by the person's choice.

He saw a pattern, something humans are doing from the very beginning, well its a topic we would discuss someday,

He saw that, during the addition of no. from 1 to 100, if we add first and the last no. we get a sum of 101 and on adding second and second last no. we again get a sum of 101 ..by seeing this, he got the pattern.

The sum of corresponding numbers from the beginning and the end was the same, and that sum, which was -the number up to which we are adding(or you can say the last number) plus 1, was coming half the time of the last number.

And thus the equation. (n)(n+1)/2. You can check the pattern by yourself.

And it seems pretty easy for us because we know the equation now, but Carl was just a young student, and finding the pattern and getting to the end of his question's journey was really fascinating and admirable. So I thought it would be worth sharing with you all.

Johann Carl Friedrich Gauss was a German mathematician and physicist who made significant contributions to many fields in mathematics and science. But I found this story of his, really amazing.

CBSE Boards Cancelled

Boards exam 2020 scheduled from Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has decided to cancel the Class 10, 12 exams from July 1 to July 15, 2020.

The board would instead be assessing the students based on the scores of previous three examinations and declaring the class 10, 12 results by July 15. CBSE Class 12 students, however, would have an option to appear for the remaining papers later when the situation is conducive. For Class 10 students, however, no such option is available.

Supreme Court bench led by J AM Khanwilkar heard the plea seeking cancellation of remaining CBSE exams due to COVID19. CBSE has clarified that Class 10 exams are cancelled and the marks awarded based on criterion specified by CBSE would be final. CBSE Class 12 students would have the option to appear for the exams at a later date. CBSE Results 2020 for 10th and 12th by July 15 on the basis on internal assessment.

CBSE to Supreme Court

SG Mehta, stated to the Supreme Court that the board has filed an affidavit, taking into consideration the reports submitted by the states. In effect, the board has decided not to conduct the exams from July 1. Speaking in the court, SG said, "Our affidavit filed half an hour back states that taking into account suggestion from States, exam for Class 10 and 12 from July 1 stands cancelled."

He further added that all the Class 10 examinations have been cancelled. Class 12 examination, however, is optional. "CBSE has a scheme in which marks scored in past 3 exams will be taken into account. For Class 12, the exams will be conducted "as soon as the situation is conducive. Marks for the students who opt for the class 12 examination will have that marks as final."

CBSE Class 12 students would have to share their decision on whether to opt for the examination at a later date or to accept the marks based on the three previous examinations, as scored by the student. Supreme Court has directed CBSE to reword its reply to ensure that there is no confusion in the minds of the student and the parents.

ICSE Board (CISCE) has also decided to follow CBSE's decision and would cancel the ICSE, ISC Exams scheduled in July. The board, however, unlike CBSE, would not give an option to the Class 12 students to appear for the exams later. The ICSE, ISC exams 2020 are hence concluded and no exams would be conducted later.

CBE Board Exams: A chronology of events

Few papers of CBSE 10th, 12th Board Exams 2020 were left when the schools and colleges were closed. Exams from March 19 to March 31 were deferred till April, and then postponed by the HRD Ministry as a nationwide lockdown was announced on March 25. These exams were then deferred and scheduled to be conducted between July 1 and July 15.

CBSE BOARD EXAMS

CBSE announced to conduct board exams between July 1st to July 15th, but after some parents filed a petition to scrap the exams and asked to give students marks on the basis of internal assessment, the exams may get cancel or postpone.

The parents asked SC to direct CBSE to do the same they did to 250 schools abroad, canceling the exams, and giving marks on the basis of internal assessment. A similar request has been made by states like Delhi, Maharashtra and Odisha governments to the HRD Ministry.

CBSE is going to tell the Supreme Court today about its decision on the 10th and 12th Board Exams.

JEE Mains and NEET

"Safety of students is paramount. The situation doesn't seem conducive to hold these examinations," sources in the Education Ministry said, adding that, competitive exams like JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) and NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Under Graduate) are likely to be postponed again.

As the COVID-19 cases are increasing rapidly, both the exams are likely to be postponed again (up to maybe September or October).

NTA has already made available its app for students to practice JEE Mains like tests for the preparation.

Since NEET, JEE Mains and Advance are crucial exams for admission

to engineering and medical courses, these are very difficult to cancel and considering the safety of students, are most likely to be postponed again.

To stop the spread of coronavirus, educational institutions have been closed since March 16. The decision to reopen schools and colleges will be taken after a meeting with the stakeholders in July, the Ministry of Home Affairs has said.

CISCE BOARD

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has allowed students to opt out of the exam. This decision by the CISCE was taken after a parent had filed a petition against the Council's decision on taking exams in July.

CISCE has decided that students can change the choice of exam status any time prior to the conducting of the exam, provided the intimation of change in option is given by the school to the CISCE prior to the conduct of the exam, CISCE has decided.

Because of the cases of corona virus in Delhi is increasing rapidly, parents want CBSE to not conduct the remaining board examination as there is a big danger for students to get infected and, the examination may lead to a whole new number of cases. In such a situation, the Supreme Court has asked on Wednesday( 17th June) to look into the demands of canceling the remaining examinations of class XII which would held from July 1 to July 15.

The board replied that it is in the process of taking appropriate decisions on the matter.

The Supreme Court also asked CBSE to consider granting marks on the basis of internal assessment.

After the decision of exams to be held on July, a group of four parents approached the court.
The petition pleaded the court to direct CBSE to cancel the remaining papers and give marks to students on the basis of internal assessment. “CBSE’s notification for holding the remaining examination is discriminatory and arbitrary and that too in the month of July when as per AIIMS data, the Covid-19 pandemic would be at its peak.... As done by CBSE in its other 250 schools
abroad and various state boards, the examination scheduled to be conducted in July should be cancelled and marks allotted on the basis of internal assessment,” it said.

India’s daily Covid-19 cases crossed the 13,000-mark for the first time when 13,124 people tested positive for the virus even as the number of casualties returned to the 300-plus level on Wednesday, a day after the country had added the highest number of deaths, 2003, to its death toll. Wednesday was the sixth day in a rowthat the country has registered over 10,000 cases.
India’s cumulative caseload on Wednesday stood at 3,67,093.

A bench of Justices AM Khanwilkar, Dinesh Maheshwari and Sanjeev Khanna was hearing the petition of some parents, who have demanded the cancellation of the remaining paper from CBSE, advocate Rupesh Kumar, appearing for CBSE, filed the case through video conferencing. He urged the hearing bench to order an adjournment, so that he could convey the verdict on the issue to the apex court.
The court is listed for the next hearing on Tuesday, 23 June.

Let us tell you, after two weeks the remaining board examination of CBSE class 10th-12th is to be done( during July 1-15). At the same time, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia wrote a letter to the Human Resource Development Minister, requesting that these examinations should not be conducted in view of the Corona virus crisis in Delhi.
