Here's the picture of Ana Al-Thani's custom build Zonda called Zonda Uno. Like the other super cars in her collection this one is also painted baby blue.

This car was originally Zonda F Roadster that was crashed in Qatar and then sent back to Italy to be rebuild. This is the result and it looks impressive. Zonda Uno has an AMG's 7.3 liter V12 engine that produces 700 HP which is more than enough for this carbon fiber car.

A quick update guys from the Frankfurt Motor Show. This year's best looking convertible is Ferrari 458 Spider. It has the same specs as Ferrari 458 Italia. And that means it has 4.5L V8 engine developing 570bhp, it goes from 0-60mph(0-100km) in 3.4 seconds, and has the maximum speed of 198mph(320kmh). Thanks to Marchettino we can all enjoy watching it:

Is it possible to drive the Lamborghini Aventador for some $14000 US? Well, kinda and not for long ...

Here's a story about the Chinese guy who paid $14000 US to a local steal factory to build him Aventador body kit. Some 12 days later he got the body kit which he placed on his Nissan Bluebird chassis. It was all well and good, but for the one thing - he forgot the plates!

So, when he took it for a drive he was stopped by a local police for having no plates. When they looked at his papers they didn't found what they've expected (Lamborghini papers), so they decided to confiscate his car. Bastards.

From time to time we see these types of races, car vs plane, car vs motorbike, car vs your grandma ... Most of them are made by Jeremy Clarkson and his crew at Top Gear, but this one comes from Evo: the Lamborghini LP570-4 Performante vs the Extra EA-300LP plane.

The interesting thing about this video is the amount of negative comments it received. As I'm writing this post the video has 58457 views, 110 likes and 55 dislikes. Most of them are in the style of "leave this to Top Gear."

Now, the video is not that bad, and although this race proves nothing, it is nevertheless fun to watch. Judge it for yourself:

The limited-edition Maserati GranTurismo S MC Sport Line with Matt White "ice" finishing is here portrayed in front of the futuristic structure of the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, where it was unveiled in a dedicated event for a selected number of Maserati customers of the Middle East.

Designed to enhance the sporty DNA of the Trident, the "MC Sport Line" sums up the experience acquired on the track by the Maserati Corse racing department, whose contribution to the design of the functional components has been invaluable. Maranello, 22 December - Scuderia Ferrari's new simulator was unveiled today at Maranello. The ceremony took place in the structure built to accommodate the new machine, within the Gestione Sportiva, in the presence of Ferrari CEO, Amedeo Felisa and the Scuderia Team Principal, Stefano Domenicali.

"It's an important day for us as the completion of this project means we will now be able to tackle with confidence some of the challenges that make up modern-day Formula 1, while putting Ferrari at the cutting edge in terms of this technology," said Domenicali. "Furthermore, I am pleased that such a complex project as this, which got underway around two years ago, has been completed on schedule thanks to the efforts of all those who worked on it."

The first virtual laps at the wheel of the simulator were driven by Andrea Bertolini, who worked with the Prancing Horse engineers on the development of the project, having gained a great deal of experience over the past few years, working on the simulator at the FIAT Research Centre.

The Ferrari simulator, built with the technical support of Moog, consists of an aluminium and composite structure in which are fitted the cockpit and the equipment which produces the images and sound. The platform weighs around two tonnes and is fitted with electronically controlled actuators that way around half a tonne each. The whole structure is fitted on a specially designed and built base, weighing two hundred tons. The whole is controlled by ten multiprocessor calculators with a total memory of over 60 GB of RAM: the amount of data that can be produced is around 5GB per day. It features a Dolby Surround 7.1 sound system, putting out 3500 W. The installation required over ten kilometres of cabling and power output is around 130 kW. The simulator is housed in a building measuring around 180 square metres, on two floors, which includes the control room. The platform covers a surface area of around eight metres wide by the same length and is six metres high. The driver is installed in front of five displays, which give a total viewing angle in excess of 180°.

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano hybrid, a super advanced Ferrari with the KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System), a system originally developed for Ferrari's Formula One team, will most likely be presented to the public at Geneva Motor Show.

The Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) is basically an electro motor in combination with lithium ion battery bank that gets charged when you start or stop the car. End while the KERS promises up to 30 percent boost in fuel economy, the fact is that KERS is an F1 technology. It's more about performance that winning the hearts of "earth loving" chicks.

The commercial encapsulates the essence of Shell’s relationship with Ferrari to develop the high-performance Shell V-Power Formula One Race Fuel for the track, and transfer that experience to every-day customers around the world.

Filmed on the streets of Rio, New York, Hong Kong, Monaco and Rome using five different Formula One cars from across the decades, the advertisement is a celebration of Shell and Ferrari’s 60 years of shared passion for performance.

The ad creates a sense of the depth of Shell’s relationship with Ferrari, as the cars seamlessly interchange while driving through the streets of bare cities. As the raw sound of the Ferrari engine fills the silence of the empty streets, the driver takes you in the 1952 Ferrari Formula One car through an Italian country road towards the Coliseum. As it turns the corner into the vacant Times Square in New York, the car is now the 1967 Formula One model. The pace moves up a gear as the car, now a 1972 Ferrari, moves through the city streets of Hong Kong, and then turns into the 2003 model as it proceeds alongside the Brazilian waterfront and Cristo Redentor in Rio. Sergio Marchionne Crashes His Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano

Sergio Marchionne, the CEO of Fiat, crashed his Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano on A1 motorway near the Swiss town of Olten on Friday, November 3rd.

The Ferrari crashed into the back of a Renault when the 76 year old driver had suddenly braked. Both the Renault's French driver and the Fiat's CEO are OK, but the Ferrari is wrecked for good.

    Imagine this, you are driving your Ferrari, you are driving it sharp, because you want to attract a young lady's attention, but instead you get the attention of a police officer. He stops you, he asks for your papers, and then he starts to laugh. Next thing you know, you are in the jail facing a three-year prison sentence for counterfeiting. Why's that?

    I have no idea, but let's suppose that your car looks like a Ferrari F355 GTS, it sounds like a Ferrari, but the car's papers says it's a Pontiac Fiero and it costs less than 15.000 euros. Ouch!

    Apparently, buying fake Ferraris is big in Italy and Italian Financial Police has decided to end this practice arresting several owners of these counterfeited Ferraris. Lesson learned: Don't fake it!

Pagani Automobili wishes to commemorate the extraordinary race Juan Manuel Fangio drove on the difficult circuit Nurbrugring Nordschleife 50 years ago, on the 4th of August 1957. Running 45 seconds behind with 10 laps to go, Fangio beat the lap record constantly over the last few rounds around the Nordschleife and taking the first place in the last lap. For Fangio it was the race of his life and it is still rated by many as the single greatest drive in motorsport history. Massa Stays with Ferrari

Once again, the rumors were false. Yesterday, Ferrari announced that it has extended Felipe Massa's contract through 2010. Here’s the original press release from Ferrari:

MARANELLO, 16th October 2007 – Ferrari announces that it has extended its agreement with the driver Felipe Massa through to the end of the 2010 racing season.

Felipe has been contracted to the Scuderia since 2001. To date, he has taken part in 34 Grands Prix for the team. He has won five times, had sixteen podium places and finished 25 times in the points. He has secured eight pole positions and the same number of race fastest laps, with a total of 166 points scored.
