These sausages bought them in Interspar in Radkersburg, Austria. Somewhat funny video They are called 'Kaesekrainer' (cheese and sausage meat deliciously blended to a wonderfully tasting sausages. Picnic in the green .. Whilst pal is grilling we are filming. Delicious food in green surrounding. The landscape between Austria and Slovenia is hilly and green with large agricultural area. This is as natural as it gets. We are going on a summer holiday . .. Clearing out our farm building is on our agenda. Listening to music of Wolfgang Ambros and other Austrian pop greats, including folk songs from Austria sung and played on Accordion by Johann Pfuisi.Thus this meal has a special character. The real treasure island

As mentioned in book of Robert Louis Stevenson.

The outlaying island was a notorious penitentiary. It 's buildings still intact, an Anglican church attached to it ( given the amount of sufferings - it looks to me like a hoax ).

Treasure Island is today a tranquil spot, and if not venturing to the penitentiary, where thousands of prisoners were treated as animals, and lost their lives at the hands of their British and French officials, this island is paradise.

The isle is an amazing spot to relax, to recover.

Venice the magic

This is the ultimate, a city like no other. No I am not talking as a new comer, still a novice though, after x times visiting. The more you come the more you love this place.
What makes it so special ?
It makes little difference, Venice 's beauty lies within the city, it's lanes, it 's churches ( 115 of them) It has history at each corner, at each entrance, at each doorstep.
Venetians are a proud people, perhaps rightly so. Who else can look back at history of 2000 years? Be proud Venetians, you are allowed to.
Venice had it 's prime time around the middle ages 1400 A.D., when it's navy ruled the Mediterranean sea, it's merchants brought in the bullion from afar.
It was a splendor one can only guess from the historical paintings and buildings around the city.
What was more visible is the closeness to the church. 115 churches built in this city alone. One can not move without crossing a house of god. This might be the secret ?
I visited a dozen or so cathedrals, San Marco cathedral, Santa Maria, and numerous others, I would have to refer to my guide to name them.
One more beautiful than the other. It is hard to overlook such.

This goes on and on. One can not describe such beauty in a few words and it will take a long time. we shall for now point you to ITALY page.

We also found problems with some staff at the airport MARCO POLO. This Venice we do not want.

Lets just we love, and forget about a few individuals who try and spoil our happiness.

Near miss on rail tracks - China New year 2013

This incident took place in China central province of Hunan. Two girls playing on rail road tracks - actually attempting to grab a train passing by at full speed.

Normally trains on Chinese regular rail speed at 140 kph. Not under the influence of any drugs, the girls wanted to do a photo session.

Holding a SRL camera they took off at shooting whilst no train was in sight ..

Salzburg - Cannes tales ( part 1 )

Reflections of xmas 2012. What was earlier planned went all haywire. For one thing man plans - god leads. Not that it was worse than expected - I guess everything had its reason.

Salzburg ian xmas turned out to be xmas in south of France, with one part here - another one in a different part of the world.

So I start writing about the south of France, or what there is to write about. Pictures speak a thousand words, and words are time consuming. Watch and see a story unfold. Significant or not, it was all there was, from cold to summer, from rain to snow. And all in one place : Cannes

On this picture you can see the world famous Miramar Hotelon the Croisette, where all the celebrity stays during the Cannes film festival.

This shows a stretch of the famous 'La Croisette' in Cannes, where celebrities and public go on promenade.

The world famous 'Martinez' , owned by the Kuwait royals, another place for the rich and famous.

Cannes yacht harbor, a parking lot for private yachts of the wealthy, as far as we can see most of the owners are from Great Britain.
