I am 22

2012-10-17T06:04:00.001-07:00

Its a day in life where i ain't not looking forward to every year, i am "shy" in a way that i don't celebrate my birthday with friends.

I can't even remember that my parents ever throw me a birthday party before in my 22 years life.

for the past 5 years, i have been studying away from home. So, there isn't any celebration with family.

Its even sadder cause i have my own dream birthday party, dream birthday cake which i know nobody is going to get me one or throw me party. Too old for a celebration since i missed the one at sweet 16, sexy 18 and the one at 21.

Now, i will just need to plan one of my dream birthday party if i ever got a daughter.

Thankful enough that parents are very supportive mentally or materially.

I am the eldest in the family and dad only got two of us( brother and i).

basically, whatever i want in life i always get it even though i need to go through all the hard time(lecture) before the stuff i wanted reach me.

Thank God for every wonderful day in life.

I enjoyed and love my times in manchester.

i got the best summer.

was home and attended the 3 days rainforest world music festival as media, went to sg for a night just for the NDP, 10 days in australia to meet all my friends and brother, got my dream dslr at last, back in manchester for football season 2012/2013, travelled around ireland...and more and more awesome stuff yet to come.

Love,

Cindy xx

Manchester United Vs Fulham 2012/2013

2012-10-10T03:07:00.005-07:00

Manchester United Vs Fulham

Finally,

the day i anticipated since the last game of last season against swansea.

26 August where the first home game of the season kick off.

Am a south stand season pass holder this year ( yay =)) I am back in Manchester 1 and a half month before my term started just to go football ground.

Since its my final year, i won't have much time to go to the training ground during term time so at least i get to go there before the term. Carrington is too far away from where i am staying ( an hour bus, 30 minutes walking time into carrington training ground).

A lot of dedication needed to do that seriously.( wake up at 5 am, take the bus at 6 am. arrived at 7am. and walked in to the ground. waiting and waiting for the footballers outside the ground and i seriously got no idea who is going to stop on that particular days. it all depends on luck.)

I really get upset and disappointed if i don't get anyone to stop. I have been down all the time and doing the same thing all the time which is to take a picture and get the picture i took previously with them signed. repeating the same thing all the time(boring i know), i guess some footballers get fed up with it and seeing me all the time.

But it really brightened up your day when someone actually stopped for you. the self satisfaction and i get all excited when the footballer pulled over and gave a smile on the camera.

So here comes the first day of the season at the home ground - OLD TRAFFORD

Gary pallister

darren fletcher is back =)

david de gea's girlfriend. She is very pretty!!

scholesy's son

rafael's family

rafael's daughter

that is alex butter twin brother

warming up before the game

the two goalie of united

fred the red

guess who is in today? USAIN BOLT!!!

One of my best picture for the game =)

look at the amazing crowd!!

that's when ddg pulling a trick ! =P

look at rooney's grin

youngy! =)

bad news:..rooney got a deep gash on his thigh!

I turned from the football idiot to a football crazy these days. I even attend reserved game at altrinham fc. ( taking the tram and walking in the ground alone all the time, the worst part is walking from altrinham fc back to the tram station alone is really scary at night)

Now, the only person that never stopped for me is rooney which i know he will never still. Hopefully, one day i will get him to post for the camera =)

Happy 22nd birthday to me in advance =)
just one more week to go and i am old once again.
I never like any celebration cause i am a shy person.
5 years in a row away from home, got no big 18 or 21st birthday celebration like what normally others have.
It will be another quiet year again this year!
(tbh, i have my own imaginary celebration)

Hope you like the pictures =)
( all pictures are copyrighted. Thanks a lot)

Love,

Cindy

Rainforest World Music Festival 2012 (RWMF 2012) -Day 2

I sincerely apologised for the really slow updates. After the event i was terribly sick with high fever. Then i went to Sg and Australia. Just got back and here is my DAY 2 updates.

Like Day 1, i slept for a few hours and need to get up and ready to drive up to One Santubong on Day 2. But i missed the press conference as i arrived a little late and its very rude to walk in half way. So i left to Cultural village to catch up with HITZ fm cruisers and the chicken-Kiyoshi!

Kiyoshi went around one santubong and SCV to take pictures with random people. Besides KIYOSHI , there's also MMMENG the hits Kuching Famous MAN who works with NATASHA.

Rainforest World Music Festival 2012(RWMF)- Day 1

2012-07-28T02:14:00.001-07:00

I apologised for the really slow update as i am still having fever coughing and all the viral infection after the event.

Opening Ceremony(12/7/2012):

Even though this is a late post but everything still vividly in my mind like it was just yesterday!!! I really hope there is a time travel machine that i could take and bring me back to the 4 days events which i had the best time of my life.

I attended the Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF) 2012 which was held in Sarawak Cultural Village(SCV) two weeks ago as a media. Shame to say, i was brought up in this small town-Kuching for 22 years and i never ever attended the RWMF. I just missed out all the fun i could have when i was a teenager.I would like to thank Sarawak Tourism Board for giving me this once in ~~a lifetime~~ 22 years time opportunity to attend RWMF as a media and what is even best is i got the chance to take picture at the press pit which is right in front the stage instead of standing in the crowd.

As a media, i have a chance to attend the press conference with all the performers every morning at 11am. As i am a local and dad was away for business trip plus i have my own budget, so i drove 40 minutes one way everyday from my house to one santubong hotel where the pick up point is. I am pleased to be able to get free shuttles transfer from the resort with the rest of the media and performers to the back gate of SCV where i skipped all the hassle of going through all the securities bag check and stuff. YAY!!! =)

Everyone seems to be like strangers to me on the first day ( the tree planting ceremony) till i met a few friends. Anne who travel in her yachts all the way from australia( she stopped me half at Damai central after the tree planting and followed me to OSR), then i met Andy kho- the official photographer of RWMF 2012. It was a total awkwardness to me during the opening ceremony dinner as i know NOBODY besides myself and still myself. After standing for like 10 minutes waiting to find familiar faces but i failed cause they were all reporters and writers from newspapers. So i sat down randomly in the table next to a spanish guy who reside in the states and an australian lady- Christine. Here comes the Diplomats of Drums members and we shared the same table. The only name i could remember when we introduced ourselves was Mark lee out of the other 4. I have been talking to Charles( who is next to me) the whole night but i don't know his name. I THINK I NEED BETTER EARS =.='''

Opening ceremony ended and we get to see two bands performs. I was really tired so i left earlier while wandering around hoping to meet Gustino to ask if i could bring another friend with me the next day( yay, driver and bag carrier =) but nah, i can't find him.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Day 2 ( 13/7/2012):

I was really early and i got Alan to reserve me two packs of drumstick rice from GRSS before i head up to Santubong for the press conference. Okay, mind my stupidity. I got how Zee Avi looks like till that morning even after seeing her for the like the whole day the day before. She stood like next to me the day before with her bandmates and i just totally ignored cause i never see her. I just knew the name Zee Avi is very hot recently. In person, she was really really short. let the pictures do the descriptions then.

Zee Avi with her sapelele

Zee Avi's Manager

i headed t SCV right after the press conference to attend some workshop that start at 2pm. I didnt manage to attend all the workshop cause i being a little paranoid of sweating so i always left SCV back to OSR to get myself a cold shower before the night event.

One of the member from string sisters.

They saw me and gave me a smile pose yay!

while having mine done, i took a picture of her! =) some west malaysia girl who just came for the first day show.

Really hot stuff during the 3 days event, air brush tattoos stall!

The alone sunset moments

I guess they are mother-daughter . totally random.

I just knew the colourful hair guy called VJ SG. After this picture, i was walking around the ground and one woman girl take out her camera and ran towards me like You! you!!...I totally ignored till she came to me and said. you are the one that took our picture at the gate right. oK, I just can't rmb her till she told me haha!

sometimes i think i am a big stalker

i wonder if this is real

How i define L I F E

2012-06-24T04:48:00.001-07:00

L I F E ,

My own definition will be:

Love

Infinity

Food

Emotion

Let's start with Love. Love can be categorised into families love, friends' love or relationship in love.

The person closest to me since the day i was born is my Maternal Grandmother.

Both mum and dad are workaholics so i only get to see them during the weekends when i was young.

Grandmother showered me with all the cares and loves that no other people could give it to me. Even though sometimes she scold us, i know its for our own good.

Till today, she is still my best friend, best granny and best listener. I called her every single day from Manchester.

I can proudly announce to the world that i am her best grandchildren as well.

Friends' Love,

I am lucky enough to meet a bunch of friends' from my ex secondary school. We still keep in touch all the times despite the distance. Distance isn't a matter because there isn't any boundaries between love. Constantly received text and called from friend's who are 10000km away make me feel blessed for having such friends.

Relationship:

I am a failure in relationship. I don't believe love in first sight. Its the time that you spent together counts. All i can say is i have a few crush but i only got into one relationship before. It has been awhile and now i lost faith in love. I am happy with my single life now. Please never convinced me Long Distance Relationship works cause it will NEVER EVER work no matter how near both of you are in a LDR , its a failure relationship. Sorry to say that but i strongly believe.

Why i said life is infinity?

I know where is the starting point of my life but i can never predict where when and how is the ending of my life. That's why my life in an infinity.

Being a 21 years old girl, i don't know when will my heart stop beating or my brain stop working. I do what i want to do without bothering what others' said. As long as i am happy, i do it. That's how you should treat your life as.

You don't live for others, but you live for yourself.

You are your own source of happiness.

Food:

I am a bad cook or probably the worst 21 years old girl who failed in cooking. Grandma brought us up in a way that she took care of everything and doesn't allow us to enter the kitchen. Its not because she doesn't want to teach us cooking but she wants to do things fast and doesn't want us to disturb her. I started cooking my first fried egg when i went to college. I can't even crack an egg. What a failure of life.

After i went to University, i started learning to cook my own spaghetti. I rate my own spaghetti 7/10 ! =)

My potion of food as a girl is a lot compared to others. Sometimes i think i eat more than a man. I don't really care of my body weight.

Emotion:

I am quite an emotional girl if you know me well. I get excited over anything like i got touched when we all threw a surprise birthday party for a friend and she was so surprised that she cried. I cried before she started crying. I saw my friend walked into the wedding hall, the song started playing and my tears starting flowing as well. I cried 14 hours on the plane when i left home back to Manchester. This scared the shit out of the english guy next to me. After that i cried for weeks. I cried from small little things to big things. I am touched easily. Normally i like to act strong in front of friends. I am like the big sister who take care of others. Whenever i got problem i don't normally share with others as the saying goes trust no one but yourself.

My voice is loud as thunder, probably that's the way i am brought up with. Oh well, i think i scared a lot of friends away by speaking loudly. My mum speak softly and very lady-like but i am totally opposite. I can be very Man in time and my brother can be the girl in the family. My brother respect me a lot though in times we fight and quarrel but he still think i am the most daring sister.

After all, I can declare myself as the bravest and most daring person of my age.

I have a very strong will, once i decided what i want to do.

I will definitely achieve my own goal. I don't care what others think of me, i do it because i know that's the only time i can do it. If i tell myself fine and convince myself i will do it next time. I know i will not have a second chance anymore. My dad is a businessman, probably i got the influence as well. I can really bargain and i am always the winner when come to buying/shopping cause i count a lot. I am worst than aunties who go to the market to buy vege!

The reason i always do what i want to do is when i grow old and look back to the past, i can tell my children and my grandchildren how great my life was and all the brave moment of their mum/grandma.

I always take pictures whenever i go is also another way i get to keep all my memories. Whenever i grow old, i get to look back at those pictures and start telling my stories with others.

" Pictures speak a thousand words"

You shape your own life , the decision you make can change your whole life.

Do it now before its too late

(spread the word, do it now!!)

Sadly, The Title goes to the blue at the very last minute!

After going crazy about United for the past one year, this might be due to the influenced of my mexico friend- Gissel Lopez. She introduced me to football on the day where they were awarded the 19 Champion league title. We waited outside west stand of OLD trafford-(the legendary stadium) for chicharito(her favourite )

Since that day, i started digging more and more information about the Red. I even find out whose the woman(WAG) behind each and every single footballers, their kids, their parents, their past and future. haha. Anything i can get from the online sources basically. I get to know more and more of each and everyone. Started following them on twitter. @waynerooney @rioferdy5 @coleenrooney @themichaelowen @tomclevz23 @luisnani @AntoV25 @d_degea

Basically,i just turned from a know-nothing-about-football-girl-to-a-crazy-man united-fans.. i made myself waiting at Old trafford for all their home games to get pictures and signature till the guard on duty at west stand can recognise me. No Matter Rain or shine, i definitely make myself there waiting in the cold for hours. i broke the record waiting up to 8 hours.before the match start till the match end plus some extra hours waiting for the players to come out.

till today, i collected a lot of pictures and signatures which i am still not contented with. Will get more and more next season definitely! i even went to carrington training ground to wait for them. Worst one was, exam in 5 days. i still make my way up there at 5am, bus journey took me about 40 minutes and walking to the training ground takes around 20 minutes. waiting under the cold and rain, worst is that there isn't any toilet that i could go. I need to stand outside the gate from 7 to 3pm. Every single minutes anticipating the players to leave the training ground. You can't definitely get them to stop on their way out, it's just up to their mood and my luck.

So, today is the decision day of the title of Premier league.

I can't even concentrate revising for days cause i am worried about the match today.

it's either THE RED again or the blue moon rising.

i am very much against all the people who tell me CITY going to be the champion this year.

i just can't accept the truth.

When QPR make all the united fans dream came true by beating city 2-1. i Shouted in joy.

by the time, mu vs sun over. the title is still us till the OVER EXTRA(fuckoff mancini time)- the glimpse of tiny hope that one can never thought off even in their dream hit manchester united die hard fans.

I SHOUTED IN PAINS when Aguero GOALLLL!!!! I cried inside and a non united fans will not know how i feel.I was speechless and sat on the couch for the next 10 minutes to realise its not a dream.

After all, i just need to convince myself.

The red will be back again next season.

We are just one small step behind.

THE TEAM WILL GO STRONGER this summer and we will see the lads improve with all the injuries players back on the field-Anderson, Vidic, fletchers, Welbeck.

Its time for me to really get back to books and not you tubing all the glory football moment for united anymore.

3 more days to my first paper. i know i can do it like how i did it waiting for the players hours and hours. i will be back with a new post after exam on my united trip.

Believe!

"He and I had something beautiful
But so dysfunctional, it couldn't last
I loved him so but I let him go
'Cause I knew he'd never love me back

Such pain as this
Shouldn't have to be experienced
I'm still reeling from the loss,
Still a little bit delirious

Near to you, I am healing
But it's taking so long
'Cause though he's gone
And you are wonderful
It's hard to move on
Yet, I'm better near to you.

You and I have something different
And I'm enjoying it cautiously
I'm battle scarred, I am working oh so hard
To get back to who I used to be

He's disappearing
Fading Steadily,
I'm so close to being yours
Won't you stay with me
Please

Near to you, I am healing
But it's taking so long
'Cause though he's gone
And you are wonderful
It's hard to move on
Yet, I'm better near to you.

I only know that I am
Better where you are
I only know that I am
Better where you are
I only know that I belong
Where you are

Near to you, I am healing
But it's taking so long
Though he's gone
And you are wonderful
It's hard to move on

Near to you, I am healing
But it's taking so long
'Cause though he's gone
And you are wonderful
It's hard to move on
Yet, I'm better near to you.

Yet, I'm better near to you."

Pigeon in Manchester City Centre

2012-02-21T21:55:00.007-08:00

8 February 2012:
It was a wednesday morning and i got a whatapps message from Georgina telling me about the pretty looking sky. Looking through my window and yes i saw the really pretty sky which look different from any other days. I get changed and went out with my camera to take some shot.

I can't really take a decent shot as the buildings and cars are disturbing. So i went all the way to city centre and trying my luck but still. The blue and white strip sky kind of fading as the sun started to rise.

So yeah, i ended up meeting my "friends" in the city centre. Ya, those pigeons... =) i stood in the cold trying to get some flying shots. I was so reluctant to go till my fingers started to show the weird signs again. swollen red and expanded.

Here are some pictures of the day. Hope you like it =)

I really like this pictures as if it is telling a story. so i submitted to canon malaysia for the love contest and i am happy that i got shortlisted.

not really a good shot, but i want to show you guys how many "friends" i have in the city

Some nice old man came and fed them so they all flew to that corner

"i am sleeping man, don't disturb me"

I believe i can fly

You look to the left, i look to the right. fair enough. Hhmpps!

live up high

I really like this shot. walking towards me as if i am their food

Landed in action

i can't even see, its covering my sight.

Hmm, i have the eagle catching prey pose

wait for me, i want some food too

so lovely

peace out =)

4 february 2012:

A saturday outing with the girls.

Destination: Imperial War Museum in Media City

We took the express bus 50 from picadilly garden to old trafford stadium( yesh, the manchester united stadium) and walked from old trafford to media city.

We were really excited about the " first snow" in manchester. There isn't any heavy snow for the past two months and the last time we had snow was a year ago.

Everyone wanted snowballs fight badly.

Finally, we had it today and really enjoyed the 9 hours out of house moments.

I am really exhausted. shall let my pictures and video tell you what we been through and what we did this morning then.

To Kina Grannis:

Being a loyal you tube fan of Kina Grannis from other side of the way , i have been dreaming of meeting her in person. Last year, she came to UK. But its not Manchester, its only London shame to me that i couldn't drop by.
End of last year i was on cloud 9 when the news about her coming over to Manchester early feb 2012 made me super excited. Bought the ticket on the day it released =)

and yes, its TODAY!!! that i met Kina Grannis in person in Academy. She is so pretty! =P
* no wonder kevjumba chose her as girlfriend in the nice guys video-kevjumba my another you tube obsession*
