After finishing university for the summer, what better way to spend your remaining student loan on some more gorgeous products from MAC. Anyone who knows me understands how much i adore MAC, so understandably when i came across their x9 Eye Shadow Palette in Burgundy, it was instant love.

The palette itself contains 9 different eyes shadows all with different textures varying from matte to shimmer. The eyeshadow pans themselves are smaller than the normal 1.5g pans so if your like me and don't actually read the product description you could be in for a surprise. So far i do love this palette as the eyeshadows are so easy to work with and you can create so many looks for whatever occasion; however it is £30 which i think is a bit pricy.

Whilst browsing the MAC store online, i defiantly had to purchase another lipstick. This time is was the colour Taupe. MAC's Taupe is a matte finish lipstick and described online as a 'Muted reddish-taupe brown', I feel that it is more of a muted warm brick red with hints of brown and orange in there. This shade is beautiful on tan/olive skin tones however fair and dark skin tones may find it trickier to wear due to having such warm orange/brown undertones. This certain shade is perfect to create a warm 80's lips which currently i have been loving. Being a matte finish it, it has great lasting power but i apply with a lip liner so i don't look like so much of a corpse walking round.

Beauty Haul | Summer '15

The summer season is hitting right now in the UK, even though it doesn't look or feel like it is, summer will practically be round the corner *fingers crossed*. With all the thoughts of it going to be glorious warm weather and bright clear blue skies, it meant that it was time for me to purchase to new and exciting products which i can't wait to use.

My skin in the summer can be a nightmare, from dry to oily to my basic normal combination, so i don't feel so bad when i end up buying endless amounts of face products. The purchased the MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation £25 and the KIKO Skin Evolution Foundation £12.90, these are both medium buildable coverage with great last coverage however there are slight differences between them. The Mac Studio Sculpt Foundation is a gel based formula making it quite a thick consistency but it claims to be more hydrating for your skin and also is water resistant which means no more "red-tomato" face; The KIKO Skin Evolution Foundation gives a more lightweight feel on the skin and a smooth natural finish when applied but not as hydrating for the skin itself.

After falling in love with The Body Shop All in One BB Cream last year i was desperate to find a replacement soon after i ran out, and thats were The Body Shop Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream £8 steps in. At a wonderful price of £8 i couldn't argue! This product gives a lovely lightweight matte finish and the Tea Tree aspects help reduce redness, puffiness and the appearance of blemishes, plus the lovely cooling feel which makes your skin look fresh and awake. Whilst browsing around the Benefit counter at Boots, the lovely sales assistant managed to get me to purchase the Benefit Hello Flawless Pow der £25.50 in Honey and i must say it is the best powder i have ever owned! It gives you a fantastic finish and it literally lasts you all day. Another thing is that the shade is perfect for my skin tone making it so easy to just wear alone.

The other 3 face makeup product i purchased where uncalled for but i have no regrets. The first one is the KIKO Soft Touch Blush £7.50 in the shade '106 Beige Rose' which is a lovely dirty rose colour with hints of beige and i would also say terracotta. In the packaging it doesn't look the best blusher shade for summer; when applied it gives a beautiful natural warm to your cheeks. And at £7.50 you can't go wrong. Next the The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder £13.00 which i must say I'm still two minds about. The overall visual aspect is rather good, having the honeycomb pattern on the front and on the powder itself. However the powder is..ok. I got the shade 03 which is supposed to be quite dark however for me personally its lighter than i thought. Another thing is that it can give that Muddy look at times which is a major turn-off ladies.

Another purchase from Benefit was their Benefit Fine-One -One Lip and Cheek Colour £23.50 which is essentially a cream blusher/lip colour with highlighter to create the ultimate duo. It features a lovely champagne highlight, a rosy pink blusher and a orange low light blusher which you swipe together to give you a natural and sun kissed finish. The final Benefit product is the one and only Benefit Roller Lash £19.50 and i must say WOW. This mascara is wonderful, it truly is! a few coats of this and my lashes are longer and more curled than normal, plus the product do not move throughout the day and my lashes remain long and curled until its time to remove my make-up. I would recommend this product to literally anyone its that good.

My second to last product is the most exciting product to me as I'm starting to properly look after and care for my skin light i used to. I purchased the The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in Oil £13.00 and have not stopped using it since. This apparently helps your skin recharge and make skin look fresher in the morning. So far i have loved this product, my skin feels softer and less dull when i wake up. It has a lovely nice mild scent and the serum itself dose not give a greasy feel when on the skin. All you need is the tiniest amount of serum so i can guarantee this product will last you ages. My final product is the Nars Audacious Lipstick in 'Anita' £24, this would be my second nars lipstick and it is a beauty. The colour is very similar to velvet teddy but it has more pinky warm undertones. This lipstick is a perfect all day every day lipstick which you can wear on a night out or just running errands in town. The lipstick itself have great lasting powder although it can make your lips feel chapped so its best to have a lip balm near.

MAC LIPSTICK COLLECTION

Like most girls we all have that one thing that we cannot get enough of! Mine would have to be shoes and ovcourse Mac Lipsticks. The thing that everyone loves about Mac Lipsticks is the wide variety of colours that they have and also the range of finishes that they come in, from cremesheen to matte, you are guaranteed to fall in love. Overall i have 11 lipsticks however i have realised that i have only swatched 10 so i apologise. Some of the lipsticks i love more than others i will admit, so nevertheless here is my Mac Lipstick Collection:

L-R| Hang Up / Ruby Woo / Hot Tahiti / On Hold / Creme In Your Coffee/ Velvet Teddy / Kinda Sexy/ Viva Glam II/ Syrup / Brave

Hang Up- Hang up is a beautiful deep berry, plumful colour which is perfect for autumn and winter but can still pull it off in the warmer seasons. This is one of my recently newest lipsticks and it is a cremesheen finish which is my favourite finish from MAC. and i must say it is my most darkest lipsticks I've actually ever owned. I would say this is my 'bad-ass' lipstick as it is a little out my comfort zone however once applied i feel like i can conquer the world. The only issue is that lasting power is not too bad however it can smudge and bleed so so easily, so i think a lipliner will be in the basket next

Ruby Woo- One of Mac's most famous lipstick. This is as some may say the ultimate red, for me not so much. It is a very cool- toned red which suits pretty much any complexion...apart from me, not sure why but when applied it looks great, but in pictures is seems to wash me out which i don't understand. It is a retro matte so it can be difficult to apply however it means that it will last ages. The only downfall is that your lips will start to chap so make sure that you have a lip balm handy cause that 'dry lip look' aint so cute.

Hot Tahiti- This lipstick got so much love last year over summer and autumn I've practically got hardly any left. Hot Tahiti is a shimmery reddish/ orangey/ pinky colour is great for adding a little colour to an outfit. It is a glaze finish so the longitivtiy is not too great and you'll find yourself reapplying quite a lot throughout the day.

On Hold- On Hold is quite a similar colour to Hot Tahiti however there seems to be more of a pink tone towards it and is also a cremation finish. I think it was my 2nd Mac Lipstick which i purchased the first time i went to London. I don't really wear the lipstick that much anymore, not cause i don't like it, it just doesn't make the cut for me nowadays. However this is great for the summer times.

Creme in Your Coffee- One of my most used Mac lipsticks today. This is the perfect for a deep-toned nude everyday look which is perfect for all year round. I pair this with Rimmel Lip liner in 01 | Spice which i think is the perfect browny nude liner to go with. With it also being a cremesheen finish its easy to apply when on the move, no hassle whatsoever.

Velvet Teddy- The most wanted and raved about lipstick all due to Kylie Jenner. Ever since we saw pictures of Kylie rocking the 90's Lip, the beauty world went CRAZZZY! and obviously so did i!. This is such a gorgeous colour i don't quite know how to explain it. It is a pinky-brownish, beige colour which a few peachy- orange undertones. With it being a Matte finish is dose not budge much throughout the day however alway make sure to exfoliate your lips before you apply this.

Kinda Sexy- One of those lipsticks that i wish i got more use out of. Kinda sexy is a peachy - pink nude. At first i used to love this lipstick but as time as gone on, a bit of the love has faded, mostly because on my complexion i can sometimes be mistaken for foundation lips. This is also a matte finish which can also contribute to the foundation lips look. The swatch on the Mac website can be quite deceiving so i recommend you swatch this when you go into your local Mac store.

Viva Glam II- This is the only lipstick i have actually neglected simply because it is too light for my complexion. It is a muted pinky nude shade however when applied i personally think it looks greyish on my lips and kind of makes me look somewhat ill. I can't remember why i thought this was a good colour on me but on some people it will look gorgeous.

Syrup - My first ever Mac lipstick *tears of emotion*. I have had this lipstick for ages that there is literally nothing much left. This was my ulitmate everyday lipstick because it was such a safetynet, that you couldn't go wrong with it. It is such a beautiful blue-ish pink shade and with it being a lustre finish it was the ideal first lipstick with me. Oh the memories...

Brave - Apart from Creme in Your Coffee, this is my other everyday alternative. It is a lovely pinky- beige colour and when paired with Mac's Soar Lip Liner it is a softer approach on the 90's Kylie Jenner Look. I cannot fault this lipstick whatsoever, i am in love!

Zoeva Brushes | First Impressions

This morning i received my lovely purchase from beautybay.com which contained my indulgent of some Zoeva make up brushes. I purchased the Zoeva 124 Grand Stippling Brush, £12.50 and the Zoeva Classic Eye Brush Set £33.50 which included 6 piece set. I must say i was impressed.

124 Grand Stippling Brush The perfect foundation brush to me personally. Made from soft Vegan duo-fibre bristles is allows you to make the most of your foundation. Unlike some duo-fibre foundation brushes they can be quite flimsy making it difficult for an even application, however this brush it is more compact and dense for better control and resistance and also the rounded shape allows for a more airbrushed finish.

227 Luxe Soft Definer Some may say it is the ultimate blending brush, and from first impressions i can understand why. Made from soft natural goat hair, its soft bristles allows for a smooth and even transition of colours and blends out harsh lines for a more softer natural look. And i must say it is ridiculously soft! Its flat rounded head is perfect for getting straight into the crease. It really is a make up essential!

231 Luxe Petit Crease Brush This brush is perfect for adding more colour and depth to the crease as its tapered head allows you to add small detail and colour straight into the crease of your eye. The brush itself is made from natural goat hair which lets you make the most of your product. The brush itself is quite dense so it would be quite difficult to blend out of the crease.

234 Luxe Smoky Shader Brush This brush is essential to creating the perfect smoky eye, the dense rounded bristles allow for seamless shading on both the upper and lower lid of the eye. This brush will defiantly get some love when getting ready for a night out.

315 Fine Liner Brush If you have not tried one of these brushes, Zoeva or not, you have not lived! These types of brushes are an absolute life saver when it comes to creating the perfect winged liner. The brush itself feels quite compact which allows for a more slicker application. But the real reason this brush is just amazing is that it is bent at an angle which means no more 'awkward hand blur' infront of you, allowing you to have more control and view of what you are actually doing. It really is an essential for every girls make up bag.

322 Brow Line Brush This is a very short angled brush which is supposed to create sharp precision brows. To be honest I'm not sure how i feel about this product cause well.. there isn't much too it which may make it difficult for me to use. The bristles is very short and very compact that it will give you well define brows especially when using creamy products but it may take a bit of getting used.

317 Wing Liner Brush Your average liner/ eyebrow brush if i must say. The bristle are a bit more compact than some liners giving it more of a slick application but i have a feeling that over time that the bristles are just going to bend.

The Zoeva Classic Eye Brush Set also included a small leather make up brush case which i think is absolutely adorable to just use to carry your essentials in your handbag. It has metal hardware at the front and also has a chic hot pink lining inside which gives it a more girly vibe. Overall i am very pleased with my purchase from Zoeva and i can say i will be visiting them again very soon!

8 Months On...

MAJOR apologies for the incredible abandonment of blogging over the past 8 months, but what can i say, they have been some of the most craziest 8 months that i have ever had! For some of you that don't know i moved to the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) in the beginning of September last year to study Operating Department Practice, and since starting Uni i have made some wonderful friends who i can truly say that i have met some friends for life! I have constantly been saying that going to University was the best decision that i ever made, and its true, it is honestly the best decision ! So if you are thinking about going to Uni this coming September i would say 'Go For It, You'll Have the Time of you Life'.

Lets start with Freshers, Freshers is a event at Uni where it help people make new friends and come out of their comfort zone, or as i like to put it - 2 WEEKS OF PURE NON STOP DRINKING!! Its true it actually is a thing. Freshers is not all just drinking in clubs though, they have different event and themes towards them which make them insane. Throughout the 2 weeks of freshers, i spent around 3 days sober... if that but it was one of the craziest weeks i have had. Some of the events that where at my freshers included: Skoolies, Foam Party, Paint Party, Basshunter, Great Gatsby, Liverpool Invasion and many many more.

Since then its been lectures then placement every other week at my local hospital in the operating theaters, working 12hr a day, 4 days a week. I must say it is stressful at times but it is worth it in the end, i've passed 2 modules so far and hopefully some more (fingers crossed) and especially having an amazing group of friends and my fabulous boyfriend make things so much better. I don't visit my family as much as i did when i first started university, i think its because I've become too comfortable in where i am, i don't want to leave for any reason. But don't worry i keep in touch with them pretty much every day. Being at university so far and having so many great and highly memorable experiences make me look forwards for what the next 2 years have got in store for me!

Moving In Day | Uni Life

As of last Thursday i have am now living in university halls, they are not a scratch on living at home obviously however they will have to do for a a year or more. Obviously moving away from home is emotional for anyone no matter what so expect tears to be flowing and a ridiculous amount of hugs throughout the day. Tissues may be required! My parents took me down as they wanted to make sure that i had packed everything.. which of course i didn't, and to make sure that i would be okay in the environment.

Once they official left me to become a 'independent adult' i cried for a good hour or more. The thought of being in a strange environment and so out of place, by myself , with no one to look after me or to tell me it was going to be okay hit me hard. My flat mates all knew each other as they where on the same course so that didn't help with feeling out of place but once i straightened myself up and actually made an effort they were so lovely. So its all about making an effort with them all and not excluding myself from them, or else living here for a year would be extremely difficult and awkward for both me and them.

First night i could not sleep for the life of me. It was just an overload of emotion from being worried to being upset that night. Luckily one of my friends back in my home town was still up so he kept me company during the night via a vast amount of silly snapchats and reassurance that everything would be okay. After he decided he was going to sleep, i caught up on Cuckoo and a number of other TV shows before i eventually went to bed myself. Finally!

Words of advice for anyone who is getting ready to move into University Halls or Private Rented Halls, if your worried about people seeing you cry; don't be everyone will cry when leaving home. If your worried that you won't fit in or you will not make friends; make the effort to talk to people! They are as scared as your are so its all about making the effort, even if its a simple hello and not to judge anyone! And lastly just have fun!

Life Update | New Steps Forward

The reason for the lack of blogging recently is that i have been so busy and that is because I'M GOING TO UNIVERSITY!!! Like any A Level students in their last year, results day is a daunting thing as a single piece of paper which a few letter can have an effect on your future. The night before results day is the worse, as all you are able to do is worry, feel sick and not being able to sleep, like i personally experienced . However in the morning of results day, UCAS became live at 8am, I instantly signed on to my UCAS and thats when everything got surreal. I was accepted at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) and a massive load of stress, worry, panic was lifted of my shoulders. When i got my A Level results which i must say i am pleased about considering i thought i was going to do awful. I am now going to be studying Operating Department Practice for 3 year and i cannot wait to start. The best part is that two of my closest friends are going to the same university with me so i won't be alone!

Since results day i have been up to my eyeballs sorting out student accounts, getting stuff for uni, finding my flat mates and getting tickets for freshers week, i have had no time to relax let alone blog. But i have almost finished packing for uni and i my room is full of boxes and bags of stuff. The type of accommodation that i have for my first year at Uni is an en-suite room, which means i get my own bathroom than having to share with a number of people. I'm not going to lie i literally think i have gone overboard with purchasing things that i will not be needing. Around 3/4 of the uni items i have bought where from shops like Poundland, Pounstrechers and Home Bargains as they literally have everything you will need at cheap prices. I must warn you though even though some things may be cheap and seem like a bargain dose not mean its the best quality, like they say ' Thats what you pay for'.

Anyways thats enough of me rambling on, but i thought i owe you all an update of whats been going on and why i haven't been blogging for a while. I will let you guys know what my first week will be like when i move in! And i will start blogging once everything gets settled

No7 Instant Radiance Highlighter

There have been many reviews about the No7 Instant Radiance Highlighter so i thought i would purchase it myself and see if it lives up to its expectations. It comes in a small nude plastic tube with a silver metallic trim, which instantly reminds me of the Clinique Chubby Sticks. The retail price for this was £9.95 which is around average for No7.

The product itself is a shimmery pink/champagne colour in the tube which suits all skin tones. When it was applied i noticed that it just glides on smoothly and that there was no gritty feeling which i thought there may be due to the amount of shimmer in it. Once blended it sinks in the skin and leaves a gorgeous glow which can instantly brighten up the face. I applied it on my cheekbones, cupids bow and across my nose and it gave me a more natural glow than powder highlighter, which can look abit messy.

Overall i think it is a great cream highlighter which is suitable for everyday use and also for nights out. And at a reasonable price of £9.95 you cant really go wrong.

Okay, not going to lie, i think i have a MAC ADDICTION! but then who dosent?! I recently ordered 2 MAC lipsticks each at £15.50 each and got free standard delivery. The two colours i ordered where the famous 'Velvet Teddy' and 'Creme In Your Coffee'.

Velvet Teddy, is now famous for those who are trying to recreate the 90's Kylie Jenner look, and i must admit i have jumped on the bandwagon because who dose not want to look like Kylie Jenner, she is beauts! Anyway, Velvet Teddy is a described as a Deep- Toned Beige, however i feel it is more of a pinkish - brown beige which also has some peachy-orange undertone towards is. It is a matte finish so it can be quite drying but i feel its best to exfoliate your lips to avoid the 'dried lip look' effect and wear with a lip liner to avoid you looking washed out.

Creme In Your Coffee is a lipstick i have been after for ages but it always seems to be out of stock. It is similar to Velvet Teddy however it has a more deeper tone towards it and looks perfect with a tan. It is a cremesheen finish which is one of my favourite lipstick finished from MAC as it just glides on smoothly with no hassle what-so-ever. I think i will personally get more use out of this lipstick than Velvet Teddy as it is more easier to wear during the daytime and Velvet Teddy will look great with a glamorous smoky eye for a event.

REVIEW | Nars Matte Multiple in 'Altai'

It seems that everyone has heard of the new Nars Matte Multiple. It is a new take on the the cult classic Nars Multiple by having a completely matte finish- so no shimmer whatsoever! In the collection they feature 4 blush shades and 3 contour/bronzing shades. The Matte Multiple formulas are so creamy and are very unique as you can either use them straight out the tube or for a more sheer finish you are able to mix them with water.

The 3 contour shades are 'Altai' a light rosy bronze, 'Veintiane' a copper bronze, and 'Cappadoce' a warm golden bronze. The shade i purchased is Altai which is the lightest of the shades, as i personally thought Veintiane and Cappadoce where a bit dark for me and when blended it looked very 'muddy' against my skin tone.

The thing i like about cream bronzers is that it gives a more natural radiant finish which last all day, whereas powder bronzers can look patchy and not be as lasting. With the Matte Multiple i can be quite frightening to apply something so deep and pigmented straight from the tube onto the skin however you can apply using your fingers whilst your experiment with the product. The best way for me to contour with the Matte Multiple is by applying it from my temples to the hollows of my cheeks, and on my forehead then blend using a dense blending brush.

I personally have loved this product and i think it is perfect for the summertime as it gives a lovely finish and its lasting power is truly incredible. They are at a price of £30 which at first i thought was expensive but you only need a little amount of product. Like they say a little goes a long way!

A Medium Hot Tahiti

Now i have left school and my exam's are finally finished i decided to treat myself to some MAC products. Like always i can never decided what to get from MAC as you are literally spoilt for choice so i thought carefully what i need. I ended up buying a lipstick and a pressed powder.

My first purchase was the Studio Careblend Pressed Powder in the shade Medium which is described as a soft creamy beige. I though this was idea for carrying around in my handbag so that i can touch up during the day. I comes in a black acrylic case with a mirror inside and a sponge/puff applicator which makes it even more handy. The powder itself it perfect for ensuring your make-up intact and is perfect for giving you a fresh glow throughout the day. I do feel that i should of bought it in the shade Medium Plus which has more of a tan to it and is more towards my skin tone however i will be able to get a lot of use out of this no matter what

The second product i bought was a lipstick cause no one can resist a MAC lipstick. I bought the shade Hot Tahiti which is not colour that is greatly talked about or known of. It is described as a soft reddish coral however i feel it is more like a soft raspberry colour which is great for summer and is easy for everyday wear. It is a glaze finish so the colour goes on very softly and smoothly and has a shine towards them. Like most MAC lipsticks they have a vanilla-y smell towards them which i personally think makes them more appealing.

Leavers Ball 2014

Recently i have attended my Leavers Ball which happens every year at the end of Year 13 in order to celebrate all the years that we had spend together and reminiscing about the great moment's that we have shared. Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Ebony | Review

Everywhere I go it seems that everyone is talking about the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade and that it has revolutionised the way us girls do our brows. Anastasia Beverly Hills are a company that aim to enhance a woman's natural beauty and they are most known for their range of eyebrow products that are taking over the cosmetic world. After reading many positive reviews and deciding to step away from my beloved Loreal Brow Artist i decided to purchase it myself.

I purchase the Dipbrow Pomade at CultBeauty for £15 which i thought was rather reasonable. I purchased mine in the colour Ebony which is the darkest of the 5 colours, Ebony is a very dark- almost black colour which i thought would be perfect for me as it will match my natural hair colour. When I first got it i noticed how simple it was as on the lid it just has the Anastasia Beverly Hills logo on it and the words "Anastasia Beverly Hills" printed on the side of the pot. The pot itself it a glass pot so its not exactly travel friendly but oh well.

The product itself is very very creamy and you must apply this very carefully as you do no want to be too heavy handed as it could look like you have black slugs for eyebrows and no one wants that!. It is highly pigmented and it honestly dose not budge, i have worn this all day and night and my brows stayed intact. To apply this i use my small C160-1/8" Angle Brush from Crown and a Spoolie Brush to tidy them up before and afterwards.

I honestly love this product and to step away from my beloved Loreal Brow Artist is something. This product has changed the way i do my brows and has made them look more neater, crisp and cleaner than using a pencil or a powder. It is defiantly worth the money as a small bit will go a long way with this product and they have a variety of shades to choose from, from blondes to red heads there is something for all. My only downfall is that it takes abit of practice to get used to applying it correctly. The Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade is defiantly worth 5/5 in all areas for me.

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat | PIC HEAVY

Whilst browsing on the YSL website I notied that one of their best sellers was the YSL Touche Eclat. Now for a long time i have been wanting to try this product but for some odd reason i have been two-minds about it; so i went ahead an bought it. I purchased this in a gift set form for £25 which came with a free mini Babydoll Mascara and a Eye Cream. The Touche Eclate is in the shade 1 which is abit light for me but will make a great highlighting concealer. You apply it pushing the button at the bottom to get some product then using the brush at the other end to apply it to your face.

As i was on the website i purchased my friend something for her for her birthday then i noticed that it if i spend £50 or more i get a free luxury gift. I mean who could argue with that. My free luxury gift included a large makeup/clutch bag, a mini Lipstick and a mini Shocking Mascara which i thought was an absolute treat. The lipstick is a mini version of the Rouge Pur Couture Collection and is in the shade 9 which is a gorgeous shimmer rose colour which is perfect to slip in your handbag on your travels.

I do recommend you try out the YSL Touche Eclat, even if your are unsure about it just go for it. I have been wearing it when i have gone to parties and i can defiantly tell the difference between this and a normal highlighter/concealer. Some may say that it is quite pricey however for the quality of this product it is truly worth it. Have any of you tried and tested this product?

REVIEW | Revlon ColourStay Shadowlinks

Whilst i took a quick peek at the Revlon counter i noticed that they had brought in the some new products, include the ColourStay Shadowlinks. As they were on '3 of 2' and £2.99 each, i could not resist a bargin! I purchased 3 of the Shadowlinks in the colours; Cocoa , Petal and Oyster. The Shadowlinks are individual eyeshadow's which then you can slide together to form your own eyeshadow palette to your own preference

The first 2 colours, Oyster which is a gorgeous per and Petal, are a very shimmery delicate shades which are perfect for every occasion; the final shade, Cocoa is a classic brown shade, it dose have a matte finish however there are a few sprinkles of shimmery mixed. The Colourstay Shadowlinks are rich in colour and have a wide range of colours to choose from along with a variety of finishes.

Revlon ColourStay Shadowlinks are a great and easy way to form your all palette and and not have that one eyeshadow that you will never use or find a way to wear it. They are cheap and affordable and are available and any local drug store. Plus if you are travelling you can unlink them to create more space in your makeup bag, and as they are a small size they are great for chucking in your bag and take them with you whilst you run some errands.

I would first likely to greatly apologise for my lack of blogging over the past couple of weeks as i have had a lot of exciting things happen along in a short period of time which i will share with you all. I have also been knuckling down to some revision as my exams are on their way very soon. However i am back on the blogging band wagon and i have post's coming up!
So what has been happening recently:

I recently had a change in hairstyle and decided to chop all my hair off and go short.
I passed my driving test!
I turned 18 on the 26th March

Review | NARS 'Dolce Vita' Blush

As a MAJOR apology for the lack of blogging i have done in the past couple of weeks i am here to bring you a review on the award winning blushes from the one and only NARS. For many beauty bloggers, guru's, artists etc. Nars is the most highly rated and highly recommended blusher around at a retail price of £21.50 so a week ago i ordered one for myself to see if it truly lives upto its reputation Caution this post is rather picture heavy

First thing i noticed was the overall appearance of the packaging, it has a feel of rubbery material all over then has the NARS logo printed on the lid. I must admit it will get easily dirty however i love the simplicity of its appearance . Secondly I noticed that it is very small, I had a rough idea that i would small however this is minute compared to other blushes that I have had in the past (or maybe i have just had giant blushes.. who knows?).

For the colour i ordered the shade 'Dolce Vita' which is a matte dusty rose colour which i think it perfect if you want to add some colour into your cheeks for a healthy complexion. The most famous and classic NARS blush is 'Orgasm' however i felt that the colour may be too light for my completion and will only be able to add a tiny bit of colour to my cheeks. I love this colour so much and it is very pigmented and bold so you do not want to be heavy handed when applying this or else you will look like a clown. It is very easy to blend together as it is a very soft formulation. The lasting period it ridiculous. My average blush will last me around 2-4 hours however this will last me around 5 hours which i think is perfect for a night out.

Overall i am impressed with this product and i can honestly understand why it has a high reputation. For some it is quite pricey but for the impressive quality and the range of shades that NARS have available it is defiantly worth the penny's. Have you guys tried any NARS blushes or are want to try any? Let me known!

Avon Purchases

Hello Everyone, my good friend and now an Avon representative Amee brought me my Avon order yesterday and i was soo excited to see what my purchases would be like. I overall spend £16 on 4 products which was very good as avon products are very good quality.

My first product i purchased what these face pearls which i was intrigued in as soon as i saw these as i have never used face pearls before and i have heard a few people talk about them so i thought why the heck not. They are shimmery glitter balls that can be used as highlighter for your cheekbones and your eyebrows or for an all over shimmer, you can lightly dust with a brush all over your face for a glowing complexion.

Second Purchase was this Sultry Lip Pencil/Crayon in the colour 'Red Vixen'. I must admit that i have never used a Lip Pencil before so i was abit two-sided on what i would be like. However it was very easy to use and you are able to get a precise finish so you wont have to clean up the areas where you have smudged or gone over. The colour is a classic red that you are able to wear day or night.

I then purchased this lipstick in the colour 'earthy plum' and which im not going to lie i thought i got the wrong colour of what i ordered as it looks extremely dark, however when applied it turns out to be a gorgeous warm plum colour which is perfect to wear daily if you want to make a statement to an outfit. This lipstick dose last along time and dose not make my lips look or feel dry which some dark lipsticks do. This is my favourite purchase out of all my products and i will get alot of wear out of it.

Final purchase was a blusher brush which i will be used to either apply my blusher or my bronzer. Overall i am super happy with my Avon Purchases and i cant wait to feature them in more of my blog posts so keep an eye out people!

Estee Lauder Gloss To Go Set

I would like to apologise greatly for my lack of blogging recently as i have recently been caught up with a lot of coursework and i have wanting to do this post for a while so now here we go. For Christmas i was given this lovely Estee Lauder Gloss to Go set my by auntie which features 6 gorgeous colours inside. The first thing that caught my eye is that the packaging as it is so beautiful, the box itself is fab but the gold lipgloss case is so pretty and a very stylish way to carry your lipgloss around with you.

Over the past years i have had a number of Estee Lauder lipglosses given to me in as a gift set and there is always that one colour that you know you'll never use or you cant think why anyone would want to use this colour; but unlike previous gift set, i cant imagine not using any of these colours as they are all very versatile and that you are able to wear either for a night out or just to nip to the shop. Most of the lipglosses in this set have a shimmer to them apart from ' 04 Brazen Berry' which has no shimmer whatsoever however i personally think the colour speaks out for itself.

Like all Estee Lauder lipglosses (in my opinion) they feel sticky on the lips at first but after that it gives a smooth finish. I think my only disadvantage to with these lipglosses, and most Estee Lauder lipglosses is that they can feel quite heavy on the lips which i know not everyone agrees with. Besides that i am really thankful for this lipgloss set and i think i will get alot of wear out of each of the colours, however i'm not sure that this set is still available to purchase.

Review | Lush BB Seaweed Face Mask

I realised i haven't done a review in a while so i come bearing one for all you lovely people. Before chirstmas i bought the Lush BB Seaweed Face mask and i have been loving it! The face mask itself contains ingredients such as Honey, Ground Almonds, Lime Tree Flower and the main ingredient Toothed Wrack Seaweed. The face mask itself cost around £5.95.

First of all when you open the smell of gorgeous lushness just hits you in the face which is nothing to complain about. So after leaving it in the fridge for a day or two i gave it a try and first impressions where that it was cold.. very cold! Applying it was fairly easy just had to make sure that it was all spread even and not in clumps and that would define the point. Once it was dried and time to remove i found it abit harder to remove than other face masks however the results were amazing!

The results from using this face mask were incredible. My skin felt ridiculously smooth and soft that i kept telling my mum to feel how soft my face was. I noticed that there was no redness afterwards unlike sometimes you get after taking a face mask off. Overall i will be getting this mask again along with some other Lush face masks in future and i defiantly recommend this to anyone as it is perfect for anyone who may have dry or stressed skin

I have only had one job and i still currently work there (1year +). Good old Next
I have a really bad problem with spending money, to the point where i cant even afford a small hot chocolate
Me and my boyfriend have been going out for almost 3 years. I'm surprised he has managed to cope me
I cant sleep without my tv on, i know it is quite bad and runs up the electric bill but without it i will not sleep. I've tried just having my radio on, or just a light but i will never sleep with it.
I have a fear of elevators. If there is a choice between the stairs and an elevator, no matter how many flights of stairs there are i will always go with stairs.
I overthink a lot of things to the point where that i will spend hours crying to make me feel only i tiny bit better
I have only been abroad to 2 places - New York and the Philippines, however i have been there a number of times, altogether 6 times
I have an obsession with shoes and lipsticks. And that my friends is where my money goes.
I occasionally prefer fish to meat. I have been brought up with fish dishes and sometimes i prefer fish dishes to meat dishes.
I have never been to a festival or a concert and i keep meaning to go, maybe this year i will go to Kendal Calling
I absolutely love films especially going to the cinema to watch them . I could watch them all day, everyday. During the Christmas period me and my family have had a film night every night and it has been a great way of spending family time together.

It would have to be the Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse. I found it difficult to apply on and i was not comfortable wearing it as i felt my skin could was being suffocated as it was so heavy

I recently treated myself to 2 MAC lipsticks, despite taking ages to arrive i finally got them and they are amazing... like always. I ordered the colours 'Kinda Sexy' and 'Modesty' as they looked very similar on the website however they have 2 different finished and i couldn't make my mind up so i bought them both.

The first lipstick which is 'Kinda Sexy' is a neutral pink with a slight tone of orange, it has a matte finish which gives it a more bolder appearance to it and would look great for a night out. I personally love this colour as it is a statement natural which would make a perfect pair with a smoky eye look, and it is a change from all my other statement lipsticks which are more in the redish -pinky category. My only doubt it that is it a matte finish which can make your lips feel and appear dry which we can all say is not an attractive look however i think a coat of gloss will help reduce that.

The second lipstick which is 'Modesty' which i would have to say is more favourite one of the 2 lipsticks. This is also a neutral pink however i find it more of a softer pink than 'Kinda Sexy'. For me this is pinky nude colour as it is similar to my skin tone but the pink gives it abit of colour so it dosent make me look like i have concealer all over my lips. This lipstick dose have a Cremesheen finish which makes is very creamy and one of my favourite finishes of the MAC lipstick range. I personally would wear this lipstick both on a night out or an event and also for everyday wear as it is a very versatile colour.

I hope you are all enjoying the first few days of the brand new year, and i hope you all celebrated it fabulously. I have been trying to do this post ever since after Christmas however i have either been at work or on family outings and never got the chance to until now. The End of Another Chapter

So it is near the end of another chapter, 2013 for me has been brilliant and yes it has had some downs however it is important to remember the good times! As we all sip our champagne and get ready to watch the fireworks, it is a night to share with family and friend and get ready for the next chapter that is 2014!

Went to London for the first time with the family and it was an amazing experience
Grew friendships and formed new ones including Jess from Jessie, Lauren from Destroy after Reading, Amee from Amee's Blog and a few more people.
Experienced what life would be like looking after a baby by having one of them Electronic Babies for the weekend
Realised how important my friends and family are and how lost i would be without them
