The entire shoe, with the exception of the vulcanized outsole and premium navy leather trim, is tightly wrapped in cone denim and features peerless stitching similar to the style found in jeans. Further details on the boat shoe include an appropriately-pronounced moc-toe and the contrasting use of rawhide shoelaces. Letting footwear take centrestage is nothing new to us here at Streething, however we've to admit that the more casual counterpart (i.e. Sandals) are mostly overlooked. So here's for those times when airing your toes come in handy or is compulsory.

Apart from the thong slippers, which is always an easy choice, sometimes you might require casual footwear that doesn't say you've given up on your feet.The most common man sandal is the gladiator, with more than necessary straps that go across the feet attached to a simple sole as seen with the black straps on the Gladiator Sandals from ASOS, slightly thicker straps on the sandals from Maison Martin Margiela and one with a weave from Alexander McQueen.

On the other hand, the sandals from Pierre Hardy and Jil Sander (in yellow) offer a more minimalistic version of the gladiator sandal with just a few straps so you won't have to worry getting your toes caught in them. We particularly love the yellow leather but remember to do some feet grooming before you draw attention to them.
