My friend told me about this pretty kewl website, and I've been using it ever since. (lol sounds like an ad so far, better throw some funny in here...) lala.com is this really kewl service that lets you upload all your music, so you can listen to your music, anywhere you have a computer and Internet connection. (I'm not sure about mobile connections tho) When you first sign up you get 25 song credits, which allow you to place 25 songs of your choice into your virtual library to listen to as much as you want. If you want to download the songs, then you'll need to pay about 80 cents for the mp3 of the song. I really like the service, as its an easy way for me to only upload music to my desktop computer and still listen to it on my laptop. (Not to mention it helps save hard drive space) My only problem with the site is that currently they have no EQ options. And with the new head phones I got, I like to be able to turn up the bass to use them to the fullest.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, with school and composing I've been up to my neck in work. :P I'll try and keep posting on occasion, but expect them to be less prevalent.

For those of you who don't know, airsoft is a sport in which 2 teams are armed with fake guns that shoot small plastic pellets. They are about the same size as copper BB's used in BB guns. The objective of most games is to shoot the other team without getting hit, if you get hit you are out, and the last team standing wins. This is very similar to paintball, except it involves a lot more trust of the other players as in paintball, you are marked by paint when hit. Though in airsoft the only way to really tell if someones been hit is if they are honest and tell you. I'm not going to lie though, this game hurts. . . A LOT! Depending on what guns the team you are playing against, FPS (Feet per second) can vary from 200-500. Depending on the range at which you are shot, the pain and damage varies. When playing always make sure that you are wearing a paintball or airsoft mask. (or goggles/glasses) I recommend a mask, because getting hit in the face happens a lot and it hurts. You can not just wear a pair of sunglasses, with the upper level airsoft guns they can shatter the glass, and cause more problems than if you had not worn a pair at all. (I'm not saying "Don't wear anything" in fact I'm saying the opposite, WEAR AIRSOFT/PAINTBALL RATED MASK/GOGGLES/GLASSES!)

Now as to why I wrote this post, I just played some really fun airsoft yesterday in the rain, and man was it fun. The rain made me kinda a downer, but it was still excellent. Occasionally I would make comments to my team like "Sarge! It feels like Nam' all over!" and, "Oh man! Here comes Charlie!" So it really was a great time. Well...... umm.... (insert awkward silence) bye.

Coheed & Cambria, Simon and Garfunkel (Who doesn't think that Garfunkel is an AWESOME name, It is SOO cool. I just like love it. I don't know why, it's just fun to say.) I just really started to listen to both of their music, I know, they're very different artists. Coheed & Cambria are metal while Simon and Garfunkel are like folky rock, I think. It's hard to classify them. If you haven't heard them, then go check them out on (music.aol.com) I like aol music as well, cause you can look up music and listen to it for free, and legally. (The legal part is important to me, though I understand that the music industries completely over hype music pirating, and that they just need to change their business model, If you don't understand check out the Techdirt blog, its really quite interesting, though very opinionated, so I wouldn't suggest it if your looking for the pure facts.) That's alot. XD Well. I started going back through my video game library today, and playing all the old games that look like fun. It's been kinda annoying, because Empire Earth crashed on me when I tried to alt+tab out to change the song on Pandora, (Btw Pandora radio is awesome) And now that I want to play Axis & Allies, I have to install the game.. Again, because I deleted it once when we were running out of space on the computer. We had 5 people using a computer that had 250 GB of space. Now we have 250GB and 1TB.. :D , well we've had the extra TB for a while now, I just never got around to saying it, Woo! Axis & Allies just finished installing! :D

Sorry fellow readers for taking so long for me to write another post. This is harder than I thought. XD NOT! Now... What to write?... hm. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Well, I could write about me thinking about what to write about. Or I could actually think of something to write about. I choose option #2. Right now I'm listening to Bat out of Hell by Meatloaf, and that song has one CRAZY AWESOME piano part. I think I might have to learn it for two reasons. First: It's AWESOME, Second: To spite my piano teacher. XD Well, I think that's sufficient manna (I think thats the right use) to sustain you all in this epic quest known as life as you flow through the inexorable abyss of time. Woah! Awesome sentence.

Sorry for the late post, but I've been kinda busy. In a completely unrelated story, I saw this hilarious book in Borders, titled Lies to Tell Small Children. That is where I got the title for this post. One of the lies was "Cows in Germany have accents" and accompanying that there was a picture of a cow on a field saying "Das moo." And I just cracked up. So I thought I might as well pass it on to all of you! And now for an update from our news desk, Andrew? Thanks Andrew. We have recently unconvered a new Google feature known as Google voice. After much deliberation, I have decided to create a Twitter account, it is related to this blog in that the person writing the posts is the same person tweeting. Go ahead and follow me (HERE) It seems to be quite a useful tool. I can read the hilarious comments of Stephen Colbert, and receive updates regarding new posts for Techdirt. (I have a link to their site if you scroll down a bit and look to the right) Many people say twitter is for boring, uninteresting people, but I think it is quite the opposite, its a helpful tool to not only connect to friends and family, but to receive all the updates for everything you follow in one place. So, I hope I've convinced you to join, and if you do follow me! Thanks for spending some time wherever you are to check my blog, and I think another blog is due in the future, however this one will have quite a specific ideal in mind, and be really fun to write for. Sorry for not having posted in a while, I've been pretty busy with reading. I just finished reading The Butlerian Jihad (A Dune Book) and Velocity by: Dean Koontiz (I think that's how it's spelled), and they were good books, both in the upper 80's lower 90's for %s. Well, in other news, it has begun to get annoying, please news media, ENOUGH WITH MICHAEL JACKSON! It's important to acknowledge his death, and be sad and all that, but the news has over done it. Other people died this week! Yet, everywaking hour of television is Michael Michael Michael! Well, that's enough ranting for now, I'll post again soon!

Once again, it seems I have proved myself to be a book worm. I again went to Borders, purchased another book, this time it was Patient Zero By: Jonathan Maberry. This book was AWESOME! I finished all 400+ pages in three days, and enjoyed every second of it. Joe Ledger (main character) was probably cooler than Jack Bauer, and James Bond combined. I recommend this book very highly, and did not have a single problem with it. I now am in search of the next (or previous) Joe Ledger novel. Warning!: This book is not for children, or even those under the age of 12. It had some profanity, and quite a bit of violence and horror, that should not be read by children.

In conclusion, this novel was awesome, and I recommend it highly! Thanks for reading my blog, and I hope you continue to enjoy each and everypost, if you have a book or something to recommend, leave a post.

Yes, I am indeed a book worm. I went to Borders Friday, because I had a gift card, and I decided to look for any thing that might suit my interests. I happened upon a location of the store where the books were written by Michael Crichton, and a certain book cover caught my eye. By the way, that's usually how I pick a book, by the cover, or the title. Yes I know the saying, but I always do seem to pick good books. Anyhow, I got off track, The book was The Andromeda Strain by: Michael Crichton. This book was amazing, I read the entire book in two days. This book is longer than 300 pages, and I read it in TWO DAYS. The book was just that good. Please go out and purchase it or rent it from your local library ASAP! (As soon as possible for those of you who aren't very good with acronyms.)

Also, I started thinking about a new idea for a different blog, keep on the lookout for another post, Hopefully it shall come soon.

Well, I finished my song... Kinda. I finished it as in there is an end, however I'm not too fond of it. Everyone whose listened to it so far likes, but I think its kind of annoying, but what ever. My finals are coming up soon... Joy 'o Joy! (if you couldn't tell, that's sarcasm) Then SUMMER!! WOO!! YA!!! In other news, I might preorder call of duty Modern Warefare 2, it looks pretty sweet. I don't usually preorder games, but I may have to make an exception with this game. Hopefully my bro will go 50/50 for it, 'cause at $60 it is expensive, well... Working on new song

I started working on a new song recently, I've written a piano, violin, cello, and bass part so far. I'm not really sure where I'm going with it, but it sounds good so far. It fluctuates between major and minor, though it stays in the key signature of A major(3 sharps). It's fifty four seconds long, and I think it may end up being a long piece, and may even have multiple movements. Well, it was nice posting again... Hope I finish soon!

NEW ROUTER!!

I'm glad to say, we finally got a new router! Our previous one was extremely old, and ended up just breaking. So, after much deliberation, we purchased a new one from Best Buy (My favorite store!) We got a linksys WRT310N, I just finished installing it, and it was a breeze. I had very little to do, and it essentially did everything itself, I haven't had any problems yet, and I'll update you guys if I have any. On a completely different note, I saw some movies this and the previous weekend. Star Trek, and Angels and Demons. Star Trek was an awesome movie, and though I wouldn't consider myself an avid trekkie, it was still a pleasure to watch, and definatly worth the money. I read Angels and Demons the book a while ago, and it was a really good book. The movie, though good, was somewhat a disappointment because so much detail was lost from the book. Anyhow, I thought this was an eventful post, Soo... keep on checking in!

Wow... This is actually pretty sad of me. Before I tell you the story, I need to provide some background knowledge. I am not a fan of Apple (the company, not the fruit)I always have problems with macs, and I understand PCs a lot more. I recently came upon a $50 gift card to the Apple store. Their store kinda fails, there is nothing there I want, that will also work for me. (I use windows, and linux) I do enjoy Apple's Ipod, though they are excessivly priced, 20% of the cost is just having the apple logo on it. There is nothing! GAHH!!! Well, wish me luck, I hope I can survive the deep dark abyss that is the mac store.
