Which Way Wednesday.....Texture

Hello All......back with another WWW......Not real sure how I feel about this one!!

Cast Of Characters...

I used the new CG "Texture" polish in the shade of Bump and Grind.....I like the shade. Then I sponged a light coat of Nubar White Polka Dot......warning!!! Any type of topcoat takes away from the "textured" look :( And lastly , I stamped with Pueen 36 and placed a matte top coat.

This is 2 heavy coats....next time I think I will just use lighter coats.....think it would look better....

This is with the Nubar .....I do not like this !!!!

Sinful Which Way Wednesday

Hello All....hope everyone has been well!! Tonight I have a "Sinful" Which Way Wednesday.....and I love this mani!!!

Cast Of Characters.....

I got a couple of the new Sinful SHINE colors.....and I love the formula,goes on very smooth and dries very shiny!!! I used the Dark Room to stamp with and it did excellent. And I just cannot get over how beautiful the Watch It Shine is over the Alfresco.....you gotta try them if you haven't already!!!

I chose the Pueen15 IP for the stamping, and as I said above, the Sinful SHINE stamps soooo good!!!

Here is the base coat of the Alfresco...

I can remember when I wouldn't have dared to wear a shade like this......stamping totally changes things!!!

Now for the addition of Watch It Shine...................... gorgeous isn't it????

And now for the stamping with the Pueen15 IP and Dark Room.....

Purple Butterflies

But, I do have a mani for you today.....I got my Nail Craze IP last week, decided to try the NC01....the butterfly wings :)

World Autism Day

Hello All, in case you didn't know, today is World Autism Day! I had the pleasure of spending some time with my great niece on sunday....she is autistic....and she is such a SWEETHEART!! So , this mani is dedicated to Lilly :)

Cast of Characters....

I did 2 coats of Sinful Colorrs Sugar Rush, such a pretty blue!!

I thought it needed "something", so out comes the glitter!!! Today I chose to use China Glaze "Water You Waiting For"......gorgeous!!!

And lastly , the stamping......IP Gals GA28 was used.....the one that looks like a hibiscus....well, at least it does to me :) Sinful Colors "Snow Me White" was used as the stamping polish.....

I think it turned out pretty, please ignore the angry cuticles....I have not been kind to them lately :(

Which Way Wednesday....Black Roses

Hello All!!! I know, it is late, but at least it is still Wednesday!!!
Cast Of Characters....

Today I started with 2 coats of Maybelline Color Show "Denim Dash".....I have had this for quite awhile and never used it, and I love it!!! I can remember a time when I thought I would NEVER wear blue polish...LOL!!!

I was shocked,and pleased to see that it was matte when it dried!!!

This is how it looks with SV top coat...

Pretty this way too....

Then I used IP Pueen 22 and Konad Black for stamping...

I really like this image...I think this image will be on my nails to match my sweater for Easter!!

Last I used Orly Matte Top Coat.....now I really can't decide..........

So, what do you think??? Which Way do you like it???

Monday's Matte Gradient

Hello All....It is sooo good to get back to something that resembles "normal"!!! I realized that I hadn't done a gradient mani in quite awhile.......

This is one of my favorite images...the lower left one.....

Here is the gradient that I did with a dampened makeup sponge.....

I kinda hated to cover it up with stamping!!!
Now for the final product......

I got soooo many compliments on this today!!! Hope you like it too :)

AIS Challenge.....Spring Flowers

Hello All....long time no see.....sorry. My father , thank goodness, is doing ALOT better!!! We got a big spring storm here last night, so I am stuck inside and decided to try to do a mani :)
Today's challenge in AIS is to do a mani based on "spring flowers"......kinda hard to get inspiration when there are inches of snow outside!!!

Cast of Characters...

I did a base coat of SC" Mauve"...

Then I sponged using some "springy" colored SC's........made me think of a watercolor!!

I decided to use IP Gals GA29 and an Essence polish..."Walk on the Wild Side" to stamp with....and it did excellent at stamping, this is the only one that I have , I think I will check out some of the other shades and see how they do!!

I liked it, it seemed soft, springy and feminine!! Hope you enjoy it also. And thanks for bearing with me....I am a "daddy's" girl and it took soooo much out of me to see him that ill...he still has a way to go but it much better. AIS...Mani Using A Plate Ending In 6

Hello All.....I didn't realize that it had been an entire week since I posted.......:(
Soooo much going on, but on a good note....you know my computer died and I have been using my daughters old "dinosaur"....which takes forever to load anything???!!! Well, my nephew brought me a new computer this weekend!!! I am sooo blessed to have such wonderful family !!! So, hopefully I can get back into blogging....Yeah!!!
Today in AIS, the challenge was to do a mani using an IP ending in 6...........
Cast Of Characters.....

I used the NYC "High Line Green" as my base coat....

I wanted a little sparkle,so I added a coat of Dare to Wear "Fashion Fever"....

There was no top coat in these pics.....

Then finally, I stamped with SC "Snow Me White" and IP Gals GA26.....

The "Princess" said that it looked like crackle!!!

Dot, Dot, Dot...

Hello All.....today's challenge in AIS was to do a manicure that included both stamping and using a dotting instrument!
Cast Of Characters.....

I started with a base coat of one of the new Sinful Colors "Mauve", which is gorgeous! It took 2 coats for full coverage, but not streaky at all!!

Next, I stamped an image from Bundle Monster BM03 using Sinful Colors "Snow Me White" and a no name Color Club, for the dotting, in an absolutely gorgeous purple!!!

Hello All....it is Wednesday, and I am a bad blogger :(
I apologize for it being a week since I have posted....my father is still ill, and we had another huge snow storm!!!!! Enough already!!!!!
Tonights mani is simple, but pretty...at least I think so!!!

The base is one of those miniture Color Clubs....no name on the bottle!!!

Next I added some bling with Jordana "Crystal Glitter"....

So, finally, you know I had to stamp it.....I used Gals GA7 and SC "Snow Me White"...

I think it turned out pretty....what do you think....Which Way do you like it???

I am so thankful for those of you that are bearing with me here lately, just alot going on and not enough time.

Which Way Wednesday....On Thursday!!

Hello All....I know it is not Wednesday....I intended to post this yesterday but my father became very ill and we had a horrible snow storm in this area!!!! So this is Which Way Wednesday on Thursday.....

Cast of Characters...

Sinful Colors "Beau Khaki" was used as the base and this beautiful Pure Ice "Sheer Luck" was placed over it. The stamping was done with Konad m57.

Okay, the base.....

This shade sooo reminds me of Essie "Sew Psyched" !!!!

Then I placed a coat of Pure Ice " Sheer Luck"....I did have to pick out some of the colorful "bling" and place it where I wanted.....still love it :)

And for the stamping, one of my favorites again....Konad m57....the zebra......I used Konad special black polish.....

Crazy Neon, AIS Challenge

Hello All...today's challenge in AIS was to do a mani using a Neon polish as the base or for stamping.....I am not a big fan of neon's, but I do have a couple!!

I started with a french tip mani , using black as the color for the tip....
I do not know why my pinky nail is darker than the rest of my nails, no matter what I do, it is always darker....:(

Cast Of Characters....

I used Pueen IP 06 for the stamping. I used white, scraped it off and then added the neon polish, scraped it, and stamped it.......the white helps the neon to show up on a darker base.....

So, that is the finished product...hope you like it.

Ready For Spring!!!

The mini Color Club I found at TJ Maxx when I went in looking for yoga pants....couldn't resist :)

The base is 2 coats of SC "Boom Boom"....

I hadn't done a sponge mani in awhile so that is what I went with , using the rest of the colors except for the white.....

Just really made me think of spring, so it needed flowers!!!
I used Cheeky IP CH44 and Konad special white for the stamping.....

I think it turned out really pretty....now come on spring!!!

Hello All....It is Wednesday!!!!
Cast Of Characters.....

I came across the display of the new Pure Ice line....just had to have some!!!
The base is 2 coats of "Private Show"......I like!!!

So, I stamped with IP Gals 22 and Sinful Colors "Hot Hot Heat".....but it didn't show up as well as I wanted....

Pretty, but not what I was trying to achieve.....

So , I used IP BM-317 and stamped the hearts, using Konad Special white.....

Now , that was more like it!!!

So, what do you think????? Which Way do you like it???

Pretty In Pueen

Hello All....yes, I have been missing for a week....no particular reason, just didn't feel like painting my nails or blogging :( Hope I can get it back.......but today I have a mani done with the new Pueen Image Plates. They are really nice, I have had no issues with them stamping, images pick up clear and crisp and transfer well.
I had picked up China Glaze "Water You Waiting For"......and loved it!!!

Isn't it gorgeous....sorry for all the pics, I couldn't decide !!!!!

Lazy 31 Day Challenge....Day 1 Black and White

Happy Friday All!!!! Hope everyone is having a great day.....I , along with some others, decided to do the 31 day challenge at a slower, or lazier pace!!! Here is Day 1 of Crumpet Nail Tarts 31 Day Challenge....Black and White!!

Cast of Characters....

I do not like white nail polish, except for stamping....but I decided to break out of my comfort zone, since this is a "challenge" , and go with white for my base.....I used SC "Snow Me White", and Orly "Au Champagne" as the base...

Next, I added a coat of China Glaze "Whirled Away"....

This was fine by itself, but I HAVE to stamp, so I used IP Cheeky CH16 and Konad Special Black Polish....

So, here it is my Busy Black and White mani !!!! Hope you like it and it doesn't give you a headache :)
I won't be on tomorrow.....Princess Teghan is a "troll" in a production of 5 Minute Fairy Tales at the Springfield Little Theatre League. Can't wait, excited to see her :) Have a good saturday.......blessings........ Jackie

Split Perso-Nail-Ity Review

Hello All!! I stopped my Sally's on my way home yesterday "just for some SV" and my favorite salesperson was there....and of course she had to show me some new polish that goes on sale tomorrow!!! I now have one on "hold" for me until I go back to work on Monday!!!!
I did pick up one the China Glaze Tranzitions polish, in pink... so here is my review of it.....the jury is still out :(

I love the color, but the formula I am not too sure of , kinda streaky, takes two coats for coverage, maybe that is because of it's ability to change colors......it seems to dry semi matte.... this is it with no top coat.....

I put SV on one nail so you could see the change......I like the new shade, but it is really streaky, it could just be my application...but I did it twice and it was the same both times.....

Here is the complete mani with top coat.... pretty shade isn't it :)

Since I am not too thrilled with this overall,I decided to see how it would stamp....and it was fabulous!!!!! This is stamped with no top coat....

The IP used was Cheeky CH 52...

But it just didn't "feel " right that I did not have a top coat on.....kinda like having your undies on and no shirt or pants!!! So, just for grins, I did a coat of Northern Lights Gold....I was interested to see if it would change anything with the stamping.....

It didn't change a thing...and I really liked the finished product....how about you???
I still don't think I will purchase any others, unless it is for stamping purposes......have a wonderful night and a Blessed Friday...................................................Jackie

Twililght Heat

Hello All....hope everyone had a wonderful day!!! Here is Missouri....yesterday it was over 70 degrees, today rain and tornado warnings, and tomorrow snow and ice......no where but Missouri!!!
Today's mani's Cast of Characters...

The base coat was SC "Black on Black" with a coat of Orly "Twilight".....I don't know why I am sooo into glitter these days!!!

So then I used Image Plate RA-114 and SC "Hot Hot Heat" for the stamping.....and I flipped the image upside down to make an accent nail on my ring finger......

AIS Challenge...Tape Mani

Hello All.....Today's mani is for the challenge in the FB group Adventures in Stamping....a Tape Mani....one of my least favorite types of mani's to do :(

Cast Of Characters...

I used WNW Megablast "Through The Grapevine" as my base coat....

I stamped with SH Insta Dri in "Blue-Away" and image plate BM-317....and then had a brain skip and forgot to take a pic!!!!

My sister retired from 3M and yearly gives a little "care package" of tape, post it notes, that type of thing. So I used the Post It Note Flags as the tape for my mani. I hate cutting the tape, it is never even and gets stuck to everything.....these little flags are pre cut,and have the paper end that you can hold on to...works great :) Orly "After Party" was used for the taped part of the mani.

The final product....

Bollywood

Hello All.....hope everyone is enjoying the beginning of their weekend!!! I did this mani tonight and it immediately made me think of "Bollywood".....see if you agree........
Cast of Characters....

Here is the base coat of Spoiled "Distant Memory", it dries semi matte.....

I needed some sparkle, so I added 2 coats of Jordana "Crystal Glitter"....I think this is such a gorgeous top coat!!!.......

Now , for the "Bollywood" effect I used IP Mash 43 to stamp with. I forgot to get a pic of The Sally Hansen Color Quick pen in Gold Chrome that I used to stamp with :(

I just LOVE this mani!!! The next pics are of the inspiration for this mani....it is a bracelet that I found while going through some things for my father....isn't it pretty????

From what I have been able to determine, women used to put perfume on a cotton ball and carry in this little "purse" !!!

Hello All, been a few days since I have posted.....tonite I have a Which Way Wednesday for you!!!

Cast Of Characters.... CG "Mahogany Magic", reminds me of caramel!! SC "Rain Storm", Konad "Special Black", and Image Plate Cheeky CH33.

The base coat....

I wanted to try a brown and blue mani, so I stamped with the SC.....was soooo light you couldn't see it :(

So when I got home from work , I used the Saran Wrap and more of the SC...

And stamped a second time with the same image and the Konad.... then I was a happy girl!!!

So, what do you think, which way, if any, do you like this mani???

AIS Challenge, Mani with an Accent Nail

Hello Alll, well the weekend is almost over :( I am sooo happy, my son started a job today!!! I can tell a difference in his outlook....work is good for us....at least that is what I have been told!!!
Today's challenge in AIS is to do a mani with an accent nail.
Cast Of Characters....

The base coat is Confetti "Just Dancin".....very nice formula, easy application , 2 coats.....

I decided to use the WNW topcoat "Hannah Pinktana"....which I just LOVE......

Isn't it pretty??? The next one is alittle out of focus so you can see the holographic effect!!

I sat at my desk for what seemed like forever, trying to decide what to stamp on this.....finally I decided on the BM-313.....could be a turtle or could be a giraffe, depends on how you look at it!!! Today, I think it is a blushing turtle.......

I love the way that Sally Hansen Insta-Dri stamps!! This is Fuchsia Flare.....

Well, this is the finished product...hope you like it........have a beautiful and blessed Monday!!

Blown Away By Blue-Away

Hello All!!! Hope everyone is enjoying their Friday....just a lazy one for me!!! I have a confession, I tend to get in "over my head" in some things......WHAT made me think I could do a bunch of challenges, work, cook, laundry, and do Operation Jackie ALL at the same time?????I don't know either, but it is NOT working!!! So , I am dropping out of all the challenges except the one that got me started, AIS, and I will be doing the Crumpet's New 30 challenge....slow version , starting next month....otherwise, I am doing "me" :)
Now that is out of the way....Cast of Characters....

I was absolutely blown away by how awesome the Blue-Away stamped over black!!!!!!
My base was SC Black on Black.....now the final product.....

Alittle "Rusty"

Good Morning All, sorry that I have been MIA .....just haven't felt like doing my nails or blogging :(
I have been working on a phase of Operation Jackie, and have lost 3.5 pounds, I keep telling myself "slow and steady wins the race" !!!!
Okay, for todays mani I did a gradient, well, at least that was my intention....I think my colors were just too similar, but I still like it!

I really love the colors here, they just played together maybe alittle "too" well.....
