Hey Beautiful,

So it's time for my march favorites post and a lot of this stuff has definitely already been mentioned in previous posts from March. Some of these products I talked about in a review post earlier in march so I'm not going into too much detail about each product. Some products are products that I've had for a long time and have been loving recently. Forewarned my pictures werent uploading properly and I've already this post off for so long so I'll post it up and hopefully I can repost it again with pictures at a later date! Thanks

::Ulta Fabulous Liquid Foundation in Buff Beige::

I think for March my absolute most favorite new thing that I bought would have to be the This color is absolutely perfect for my skin tone and one of the most hardest things for me to do is match liquid foundations to my skintone. The price for it is $12.50 and I love the way it blends well into my skin and makes it so that I don't look like I have soo much product on my skin. It's not necessrily a matte finish its more on the dewy side but I can easily just mattify it with my setting powder which I use anyways so I'm not adding any extra products to make this matte.

::PRIME TIME foundation primer::

My mom had an extra one of this and so she gave it to me. It's the trial size freebie one so the original size is $22 at Ulta and it's by Bare Escentuals. I like this primer and the regular price is definitely not bad especially for the actual size. I think I will purchase again when I run out of my other primers first. It doesn't leave my skin greasy and it makes my pores around my nose and cheeks smaller.

::Ulta Cheek Color Blush-Flush::

This is priced at $7 and it's a smaller sized blush than most blushes by other companies but I think the size is perfect especially if you like to carry your products in your purse for later. This right now is my go to blush unless I find something different or better that I like and for the price it can't be beat. It lasts all day on my skin and I have oily skin.

::Eyeshadow Quad by Ulta::

I mentioned this quad in my ulta haul and it's the one with the colors Mystique, Bone, Gold Dust, and Espresso. If you couldn't already tell it's the brown tone quad and I have uses this quad so much this month. I use at least one or two colors from thsi quad about everyday. They sell the individual colors for $7 each. And it's the Ulta line and I love the pigmentation on these shadows and they last all day for me.

::Ulta Volumtuous Volume Mascara-Jet Black::

This is a really great mascara. The brush is so sturdy and not flimsy which I hate. The color pay off is great. I don't need two coats of this mascara one is enough for me, but of course I like a little extra with my mascaras so I had a second coat just to give it that extra oomph. It doesn't give me that clumpy look either. Then again I've never had a mascara look clumpy on me unless I go out of my way to make it clumpy. NO NO lol

::Rimmel Bronzer::

This bronzer gives me the perfect color for my skintone. it's not too light and not overly dark either. I use this to contour or as an all over bronzer on those days where I need a little more. My skin tone during the year is actually pretty light and it's only during the summer that I get dark if I'm out in the sun.

::NYX White Base::

I love this product to brighten any eye look I'm doing. It doesn't crease at all for me and I don't have to put on a shadow base beforehand like you do with NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk. That stuff creases and you would think this would do but it's totally different and works wonders. I use this stuff every single time I do my makeup even when I'm trying looks at home which I shouldn't do since I have some cheaper shadow bases I should be using lol.

::Miracle Worker Dark Spot Correct (Free Sample)::

I got this as a free sample from sephora back in Feb. and I've been using it a lot this month. I like that my dark spots on my face are becoming lighter with this products. The bigger areas like my cheeks where I contour have bigger dark spots so they are taking a little bit longer to fade, but their still getting lighter. I don't have too bad of acne so once my dark spots are cleared up I can go back to just wearing my tinted moisturizer and Im out the door.

::Embryolisse Lait Creme::

I had this in my Feb. 2012 favs post and it made it back for another round. I LOVE this stuff. I use it when I feel that my skin needs an extra boost of moisture during the day when I'm home. I use this as my daily moisturizer when I'm wearing makeup and It just makes my skin so smooth and soft. Definitely worth the $25 price.

::Maybelline Eyeshadow Quad in Give Me Gold::

This quad has always been a favorite since I bought it almost a year ago, but lately I've been reaching for it again almost everyday. When I first bought this quad I was going through a golden look phase and I wore these colors a lot. Now it seems like a year later I'm reaching for this quad again over and over. My gold color is basically gone, but I have a duo from maybelline that was limited edition with the copper gold color and I have the single copper color eyeshadow from Maybelline as well so I'm set for a while. I love the brown in the quad and I've even been loving the yellow color a lot lately as well.. All in all this quad is a must have for me. I'm using one of the colors from it if not all for a look this month. We'll see what eyeshadow I'm loving for april since I'm always going for the same everyday look for a month then a new everyday look the next month and so on. haha

And that is all for the month of march. Not too many items at all this month. A heads up I'm not sure if I will be doing a April Favorites because I've just moved and still looking for a new job so buying some new stuff right now isn't going to be a priority. Which makes me so sad cuz I love buying new makeup and trying some new stuff. But until next time toodles

So for you guys today I have a review on some Mineral Eyeshadows from EyesLipsFace or E.L.F. to most of you. Now I hardly ever see reviews on E.L.F. Products and I'm unsure if it's wether others find them to be subpar compared to higher end makeup or they just don't know about or don't want to try them because of how cheap they cost you to buy. But whatever the reason I think everyone should try at least 5 things from E.L.F. even if you buy only the $1 items. Whats the worst that could happen?

The E.L.F. line can be purchased online (E.L.F.) or at Target. Now the mineral eyeshadows I have here for you today at $3 each and to me that is a complete bargain. These last for a very long time so $3 each isn't a big deal when you think long term wise or financially wise either. These babies won't break the bank to buy them.

Now I've purchased E.L.F. products many of times and theres things that I have liked and then there's things that I could have gone without trying. But then again that's like that with every makeup line I've ever tried. I have products I love and can't live without and I have products where I wish I didn't even spend the money. With all that being said.... Here's the shadows I want to talk about today!

(Unfortunately before I could write this blog my baby brother decided to play with his big sisters makeup stuff and lose two of her mineral eyeshadows so instead of 14 I only have 12 to share with you today!)

Before I go into detail with each of these shadows, let me say there is ALOT of fall out as you should know with any type of loose eyeshadow(s), that should be no surprise!

::From Top To Bottom && Left To Right::
Socialite, Earthy, Celebrity, Royal
Confident, Dreamy, Outdoorsy, Sweet,
Glamorous, Elegant, Trendy, Wild

Socialite
-This color is like a dark gray with Multicolored Shimmer, The purple shimmer stands out the most-

Earthy
-This color is gorgeous green, It's got golden shimmer in it and it just glides on smoothly-

Celebrity
-This color is a very pale gold almost peach color. It's so pale that mostly just shimmer shows up not actual color.

Royal
-This is a deep dark royal purple hence the name Royal. It's got some shimmer (Blueish,purple) but not so much that it takes away from the intense purple color-

Confident
-Gorgeous Brown color with lots of golden shimmer throughtout and this color is intense as well-

Dreamy
-This color is just sooooo beautiful and breathtaking that when you see it you just want it so much. It's got shimmer in it, but it doesn't take away from it's intensity of baby blue. Even though it's an intense color it can be sheered out to almost nothing and built upon just like most of these shadows-

Outdoorsy
-gorgeous forest green with golden shimmer in it. This is a very intense color-

Sweet
-Gorgeous sheer pink color. This color is very sheer when applied so you have to build it up to reach the intensity you desire-

Glamorous
-Dark pink color, with shimmer-

Elegant
-This color looks white at first glance in the container but it has a peachy tone to it and it's just gorgeous in the inner corner and as a highlight, but beware of fallout-

Trendy
-This color I just cant explain. It's not a brown color but its not a pink either It's just in between-

Wild
-Dark brown with gold shimmer and this color is very intense and gorgeous. It add definite depth to any look. It's great for creating a smokey brown look as well-

Socialite, Earthy, Celebrity, Royal

Confident, Dreamy, Outdoorsy, Sweet

Glamorous, Elegant, Trendy, Wild

Review on my Ulta Haul Items

Hey Beautiful,

So it's that time to review the items from my haul, but of course I've just been in my own world that I haven't tried every single thing I've purchased ENOUGH times to review it so.... SORRY!! (I'm not a use once and review kind of girl because I don't even know if I like something until I get a good use out of it. Now since I put pics up of everything in my Haul video I won't have pics up in this post. However I will be going into detail about each item I hauled. The NYX White Shadow Base is something I use absolutely everyday! I don't even touch any of my most loved primers anymore since I've bought this. SMH My stilla prime pot has been neglected as well as my UDPP's. I just love this stuff, but I need to lay off if I don't want to use it all up, but that shouldn't happen anytime soon since a little goes such a long way.

Ulta Fabulous Face Liquid Foundation is my love. I have yet to find a foundation that does what this does for me. I haven't tried those pricey foundations yet and as of right now I won't be at least until the summer time when I have to get a darker shade and unfortunately I already have the darkest shade they carry :(. But for now this is my go to foundation and I don't want to try anything else. It's oil-free and gives me a medium coverage which is great for me because I don't need a full coverage right now and if I want to sheer it out I just add a little moisturizer. And I love that it has SPF. As well as does my other face products so I'm SPF'd out lol.

Eyeshadow Quad with the colors Mystique, Bone, Gold Dust, and Espresso- Now this quad right here is...... AWESOME i love the colors in it and when you look at them their really not anything special but somehow I've been reaching for this quad everyday since the day I got it and I've used at least one color from it anytime I do a look. I just love Mystique and Espresso. It just calls to me.. You ask why Desiree and I say well guys I really don't fricken know. It beats me lol, but alas I love it so.

Nail Polish in Peach Parfait... Now as I said in my other post (up top is the link to it). I wasn't feeling this color so I gave it to my mom who actually used it on her nails and now the color in pictures and in real life looks like its going to be a bright orange color (i was like why is called PEACH parfait??), but it's really not. It's a light peachy/orange color and it is a sheer nail polish so a couple of coats would have to do and that intensifies the color, but not by much! All in All my mom liked it :) So i guess it was a win win for someone :)

Ulta Volumptuous Volume Mascara is awesome!!! Now granted you do have to apply at least two coats to actually get the lash look I WANT (idk about anyone else lol), but I love this mascara. I love the sturdiness of the brush it's not flimsy and It's great on my bottom lashes as well and most mascaras you need a seperate mascara for your bottom lashes. Not this bad boy!! My lashes don't look VOLUMPTUOUS, but I see definite volume in them. Which just as good!

Ulta 's Cheek Color in Flush is something that when you see it on the computer and even in store it doesn't look to be on the pink side it looks more brown toned but in the picture I took it's definitely like a mauve color if you even want to call it that. I love this blush. I'm not a big blush person like I've said before I'm all about eye makeup so I've just been really getting into the face aspect of it all, but I've had a couple of blushes that I never liked and I love this one. I'll probably find something way better, but since it's $7 I'm not that hung up on finding other brands. I definitely want to try the other cheek colors from Ulta's line.

And the makeup bag that most of the products came in. I love it holds my everyday makeup so I don't have to go looking for my everyday stuff everywhere in their sections I can just open up my bad and bam there they are. Of course the products in this bag on in rotation all the fricken time.

And speaking of my everyday makeup I have another post coming by the end of this month on my new everyday makeup items. I will probably have one of those type of posts a lot since I'm always putting things into rotation and when I find something I love I use it like crazy until I go out shopping and find something new to love. I'm just horrible!!

MAC Eye Shadows?!? & Others

Hey beautiful,

So I'm thinking about trying out a couple of products from MAC. I have never purchased MAC anything before because I always thought they were too expensive back when I wasnt into makeup as much as I am now. And yes MAC is overpriced in some areas but eyeshadow wise I've spent way more money one Eyeshadow from different cosmetic companies that have MAC beat in price.

So I've been doing my research on different things that MAC has to offer and I think I've narrowed down the prodcts that I want to try from MAC. Of course all the products won't be a one time purchase because I'm not made of money! This will be an over time purchase. But anyways let's get down to business.

I want to try the MAC brush cleaner. I think $13 for a brush cleaner is not bad at all cuz I know a lot of other cleaners that cost way more. Of course I'm not too sure about this I do want to try E.L.F. Cosmetics brush cleaner and brush shampoo first $3 each. So if I don't like those then maybe I'll try MAC.

I also want to try MAC Fix + I've heard soo much about this product. I havent checked out the price yet but I believe it's under $20 of course I don't think I need it that bad so that's a purchase that can wait!

I also want to try the MAC palettes (15 count) to hold any shadows I do buy, buy I've heard that the Z Palette's are better and hold more shadows. Now I know that Mac can hold up to 25 or 25 shadows if you take out that divider piece so I will just have to see go by cost and longevity and which one holds MORE!! I personally wish E.L.F. would come out with a palette that holds even 10 eyeshadows because they already have one that hold 4 shadows (yes you can put MAC shadows in them) and thats only $1 so I know if they made bigger ones it wouldn't be as expensive and probably just as good of a quality!! *FINGERS CROSSED* that E.L.F. does this, but until then.....

Okay so I think that sums it up on stuff from MAC that's not shadows and now...... on to the eyeshadows!!

So the colors that I want to eventually buy are a lot but I'm only going to talk about the eyeshadows I KNOW i want to buy and try and probably will love.. but we'll just have to wait and see!!

1. Woodwinked-heard sooo many good things about this eyeshadow! and I've seen the color pay off and swatches and I can honestly say I would definitely love it!

2. Vanilla- I hear this is a good highlight color or inner corner color that I want to try. I'm always looking for nice highlight colors.

3. Naked Lunch- This shadow has been raved about so many times I must try it plus the color is super pretty for my skin tone which is like medium/olive! I can never tell lol I'm usually very light in the face!

4. Phloof!- I saw this color and said gotta have it! I'm all about them highlight colors! Plus on a day I just want some shadow and nothing too detailed or crazy this color looks like it would be cute to just swipe over the lid!

5. Cranberry- Now this color is a MUST HAVE!! I saw this color and said I've got to have it. It might be overrated or whatever but I love cranberry like colors and DUH it's callec cranberry so I'm like YAY!! PERFECTION!

6. Trax- Is another color that's raved about and I saw it in the sultry palette from the winter collection or whatever the heck its called. I'm not hip to the names, but it was another OOOHH color!

7. Satin Taupe- This is a color that I've been told by many to purchase purchase purchase so I guess Imma do what I'm told lol

8. All that glitters is a color that I hear about ALL THE TIME!! So I'm going to have to check this color the heck out!

9. Carbon- Im in need of a matte black and can never find one and any that I've found in the past are not totally matte or the color pay off sucks major butt!

10. Honey Lust- I saw this color in a palette by probably my favorite youtube guru Ms. MakeupbytiffanyD and I loved it! And I have to have it!

11. Exspensive Pink- This color looks too damn gorgeous. Pink is a great color and it's not a light pink that would make you look sickly and it has those gold undertones which just screams amazing!

12. Arena- This looks so close to my skin tone and I need one of those colors. It's gorgeous looking too and would be the perfect transition color on my lids.

And that folks wraps up my MAC shopping list! I'll let you know how it all goes when I can finally purchase these items!!

I have another haul. I got this stuff on thursday but I took me forever to get myself situated and stuff to be able to sit down and write a post for you guys. But im all settled in and I got some stuff. This stuff was given to me by my mom except the bronzer I purchased that a while back. We did a swamp with some stuff so I didnt pay for these products. None of these products are high end and their all under $10 as far as I know except for the estee lauder bag. Hope you enjoy.

I got a new makeup bag by estee lauder to keep in my purse. In this I will hold all my makeup products I like to keep in my purse, but dont want spilling or getting loose and causing chaos. It's the perfect size for my bag and holds alot of products and it's a nice pink color (I'm not a big fan of pink lol).

Rimmel Bronzer in the shade 022 Sun Bronze. I like this bronzer so far but it seems a little light for my skin tone. I purchased this from walgreens for less than $6.

Extra Lasting Lipgloss from Avon in the color continuous copper. It's shimmery and gold toned and I LOVE IT! It's got a semi nice smell to it theres an underneath smell that I can't put my finger on though, but it's not enough to bother me.

Maybelline Expertwear brownish black retractable pencil and I like this color for my eyebrows.

A Trio from Avon with these gorgeous colors. I saw this and gasped and said oooooo I WANT IT!! lol and I got it! These colors are so ME!!

I-Mark eyeshadow singles in the colors Biscotti and Glitterati. Biscotti is the perfect highlight color and I will def use this quite a lot if not everyday.

ULTA HAUL :) & First Impressions

So on Friday I went to Ulta for the first time ever and I got some goodies that I wanted to share with you guys :) Hope you Enjoy!!

Ok so I was excited to go into Ulta (I'm applying for a job there so wish me luck) and I loved it. I live in York, PA as of Thursday haha. So I have a chance to work there doing and being surrounded by something that I love. *FINGERS CROSSED*

Now I saw online before I went that Ulta had a promo that if you spent $17.50 or more on ULTA Brand products you would be able to get a 13 piece gift set for free and that gift set originates as $88.

::So I Bought::

NYX Eyeshadow Base in White. Retails for about $6.99 and I have wanted to purchase this for a long time because I just love the jumbo pencil in milk so I was already knew the white base would be amazing.

Ulta Fabulous Face Liquid Foundation $12.50. I needed a new liquid foundation so I decided to give the Ulta one a try. The price is good and definitiely within my budget. It's Oil-Free which is great for me. So I'm def excited to try this out. (I will keep you guys updated with a review on the product soon by the end of this month).

Ulta Super shiny lip gloss in the color Princess. $8 and this gloss color is gorgeous. I loved it and it's a perfect pink color. I have tried it already and it's sheer but I still love it, but however for that price I think that the color payoff could have been better.

*The color pay off on these shadows is great and even more lasting with the NYX shadow base which is what i used under the shadows. I've used the First quad so far with the colors Mystique, Bone, Gold Dust, and Espresso. It came out really great :)

6.Ulta Volumptuous Volume Mascara in Jet Black. I havent used this yet but I have looked at the brush and I love the brush. We'll see how this mascara turns out.

7. Ulta Double Sided LipGloss with the colors Natural and Flirtini

8.Nail polish in the color Peach Parfait. I'm not a big nail polish person and the color is a bit too brigh for me.

9. Ulta Cheek Color in Flush. This Blush is a gorgeous nude color. I love the color of this blush. And if after a few uses I love the lasting power and the way it looks I think I will definitely purchase more blushes by this brand. And It's only $7 which is definitely in my budget :) *More on this in my ulta foundation review post*

The Color that shows in this picture in more on the pink side but when you look at the blush its more on the brown/nude side with pink undertones. I LOVE IT!!

10. Dual Ended Eyeliner #1 in the colors bronze and black

11. Dual Ended Eyeliner #2 in the colors Deep Brown and Chocolate

12.Lipstick in the #226. No color (Sorry) This lipstick color is a color I can't explain. It's not brown but its not a nude. I would say its a brown with coral undertones. I'm not sure how I feel about this color *more on this in my ulta foundation review post*

13.And last the little bag that all the products come inside. I love getting free makeup bags because I can always use them for something somehow and someway. I will definitely be using this bag soon.

Well guys that was my very first Ulta haul and I liked the experience that I had. I will definitely be going there time and time again. I hope you guys enjoyed this post. Must Have Make Up Brushes

Hey Beautiful,

So lots of people are always asking about brushes and what brush is used for what and which brush is better and all that jazz. So I decided to make a post about the brushes I think are Must Haves. Now most videos and blogs that I have seen about Brushes usually only list higher end brushes and in this post I will have some higher end brushes but for the most part all my brushes are cheaply priced. I recently bought some brushes from Sigma that I do love, but their the only high priced brushes I own. I havent spent alot of money on brushes before. So price wise this should benefit a lot of people.

Ok so it may look like I'm showing you a whole bunch of Must Have brushes but really I'm not. For some of them I have a couple brushes that I like for example blending brushes I have 4 blending brushes that I really like. So hope you enjoy and their will be pictures and I will try to give you the prices to the best of my knowledge and where to purchase as well.

MAKE UP BRUSHES :)

1. Foundation Brush. I personally think everyone needs a foundation brush wether its to apply liquid, cream, powder, etc. You need a brush to do it. So my favorite LIQUID foundation brush to use is the Sigma F80 Flat Top Kabuki that cost $16 individually. I like the way this brush blends out my foundation flawlessly and it doesnt leave any streak marks and it blends it to perfection making it look as if I just naturally have some good looking skin.

2. Powder Foundation Brush. Now I have two brushes that I love for applying any kind of powder foundation to my face or setting powder for those of you just using powder to set your foundation and not as your foundation (if that makes sense lol). I like to use the Sigma F30 Large Powder Brush which is believe is $19 individually (my sigma brushes were part of a kit which made it cheaper to purchase). I love this brush to set my foundation because of the size. The size makes it perfect to cover a large area fast. I don't have to spend time just applying a light dusting of setting powder like you do with some brushes. The softness makes it feel amazing on my face. I've had scratchy powder brushes before and all it did was irritate the heck out of my skin which made my pores go crazy and bumps appear. Not a good look at all.

The second brush I love to use is a brush by Revlon. And I believe I bought it for $10 but it could have been more, but less than $15. This brush is the same size length wise as the F30, but the bristles are not as long as the F30. And definitely not as soft either. This brush is soft, but it could be softer when it comes to putting a brush on your face. These two brushes I just love to use.

3.Contour/Blush. I love using the Sigma F40 to contour my face. It's a large angled brush which makes it perfect for applying your contour. Now before I purchased this brush I would just use a small blush brush from Sonia Kashuk to apply my contour when I did contour (it's not an every day thing). I also use this brush to apply my blush color as well from time to time depending on my mood.

4.Blush Brush. I like using the Sonia Kashuk blush brush. I don't know if this is what her originally blush brush looks like since mine was from a collection no longer sold at target ( I believe.) So I also don't know an individual price either but I think it's under $15. I like the softness of this brush. My only problem is the shedding of the brush. It does shed quite a lot from time to time. It never sheds when I'm washing, but it'll shed when I'm using the brush on my face.

5. Concealer brush. Now this brush would have to be a hard one for me because I just don't favor any concealer brushes but I do believe that it's a must have brush. If only I could find one I loved. But I'll settle for like. Now I like the Sonia Kashuk concealer brush (also part of the collection I purchased so I don't know the price, but again most likely under $15). This brush is really soft like really soft. It's definitiely the softest concealer brush I have ever felt. I've always found with other concealer brushes that their too scratchy for the under eye area and end up irritating my under eye area. It would make the thin layer of skin there hurt. So for a long time I used my ring finger to apply my concealer and I still do from time to time, but I also like this brush as well. So I switch it up.

6. Blending Brushes. Now I have about 5 or 6 blending brushes total that I like so I won't talk too much about each one so I'm not having 50 million paragraphs lol

Okay my FAVORITE blending brush is the E.L.F. Cosmetics Blending brush. Now i mentioned this in my Blending post. This brush is part of the professional brush line by E.L.F. (white handles) All those brushes are $1. This brush is extrememly soft. I need to buy like two more :)

Next is a brush from my collection of brushes by Sonia Kashuk. It's a little more rough than the E.L.F. Blending brush and way more stiff as well. This individually is probably less than $10 at target by Sonia Kashuk.

The highlight brush by eco tools (part of their eye kit). This brush is labeled as a highlight brush but I only ever used it to blend out my eyeshadows. I don't know is this brush is sold seperately, but the eye kit is about $12 at most drugstores.

Sigma E30 Pencil Brush is a brush that I use for precise crease work. But I also use it to blend out my precise crease work as well. It's small and precise shape makes it perfect when you want a precise blended out look. It doesn't over blend your eyeshadow making the work look bigger than where you wanted the eyeshadow placement. This brush individually is $9.

Sigma E25 (not sold as far as I know, but the E35 looks like the same exact brush. Mine was a freebie for spending over $30 at Sigma). It's a tapered blending brush and I love using this brush to blend out my eyeshadows. $9 for the E35.

Sigma E40 Tapered Blending Brush. This brush is so soft and fluffy. I just love it. This brush I use more for blending out farther away from my crease work. This brush I don't use for any detailed blending. I also like using this brush to apply my texture color when I'm blending shadows. $9

7. Highlight Brush (Eyes). Sigma E70 Medium Angled Brush. I love this brush for highlighting my under my brow. The shape makes it color placement perfect. This is $9 individually.

8. Eyeshadow Brushes (Lid). I have two that I love and their both by Sonia Kashuk. I think their both about $8-$10 individually. The first one is the Sonia Kashuk small or medium eyeshadow brush I'm not sure which. And the second one is a regualr eyeshadow brush (it's part of the collection i purchased at target). They both work great and their both really soft and pack on color great.

9. Eyeliner &/or Eyebrow Brush. I love using an angled brush to apply my gel liner to my lashline or for filling in my brows. And the E65 from sigma is the perfect brush for that. The size is perfect. and the price is just $9 individually. Now before I bought this brush I was using one from studio 35 from Walgreens. It was the double sided brush with the angled brush at one end and an eyeshadow brush at the other. I like this brush but the angled brush was a little too thick for applying gel liner and/or filling in my brows. So this brush is definitiely what I was looking for.

10. Smudge Brush. I like using my Sonia Kashuk Small Smudger brush under $10 from target. This brush is great for applying color under my bottom lashes or smudging out my gel or kohl liner when I want to do a smokey eye. This brush is pretty small though so sometimes it can be a little bit of work when smoking out above your lashline. I would also recommend the Sonia Kashuk smudger brush from one of her collections.

I'm going to start with my favorite Face Products this month!

Clinique Moisture Surge Intense: This retails at about $36 for a 1.7 oz. The one that I have was a freebie with a promo code (no longer available). It's made for people with very dry to dry skin but I still love it for my combo/oily skin on the dry areas of my cheeks and directly on my nose. It's oil-free and it says that it re hydrates dry skin for a full 24 hours. I love this stuff and it smells nice even though its a fragrance free product.

Sample Size .24 oz

Clinique 3 Step Skin Care System Skin types 3,4 Combo/oily to Oily skin. $41.50 at sephora.com and I've only had this for about two weeks but its AMAZING! The price is a little bit much for a skin care regimen, but the sizes and the way it works makes up for that in the end. The face wash is great I only need about a pump to a pump and a half of product to clean my face. The toner is also great. The only thing I don't like is the witch hazel type smell but I can get past it! The moisturizer is great as well and the bottle is a bit small but a little goes a very long way. You don't need to pour it into your hands.

Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentrate $25 at amazon.com. I've been meaning to buy this for months and months now and I finally just got around to it, but I wish I purchased it sooner because this is a great product. I use it as a moisturizer/primer. It works wonders and doesn't leave my face dry or oily. My skin really drinks this stuff in. I also recommend after applying your moisturizer to let it sink in for about 5 minutes before applying any other products to the face.

Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover $7. This is the best makeup remover I have tried so far. I need just one cotton ball per eye. The only thing I don't like is that its got a very greasy feel on my face and eye area. Other than that it's amazing. I don't mind that its greasy because even if it wasn't I always still wash my face after removing makeup, it gets rid of whatever is left behind.

TooFaced Primed & Poreless $30. This primer by TooFaced is a great primer. It's very matte and doesn't add extra oil to my face like some primers do. It's got a tint to it so you can always use it alone or just apply a little powder to the face afterwards.

Miracle Worker Dark Spot Correct (Free Sample); Embryolisse $25; Neutrogena $7; TooFaced Primed & Poreless $30 (pink tube)

E.L.F. Cosmetics Matte Bronzing Powder $1: I should have bought more of this amazing stuff. This is my go to bronzer for contouring. It's the perfect shade for my skin tone and it's matte no shimmer in it what so ever. And for the price it can not be beat!! Show me another company that sells awesome bronzer for $1....Didn't think so. I will definitely be adding more of this to my collection soon.

ELF Sun Kissed Bronzer; ELF Matte Bronzer $1 ea..

E.L.F. Cosmetics Luminance Bronzing powder $1: I use this as a highlight for my face. I dust this lightly on any areas of my face I want to highlight. The price can't be beat and it's a pretty good highlighter for said price. It's actually better than $1 worth!

E.L.F. Cosmetics Powder in Honey $1: This is a good setting powder for my liquid foundation. And for $1 the price can't be beat! The lasting power is also pretty good, but I haven't worn it alone yet so I don't know if it will last all day on its own.

FAV. EYE PRODUCTS!

E.L.F. Cosmetics Liquid Eyeliner-Black $1: Now at first for me this wasn't a new product because I have one already in blue and black and just ran out of black so I purchased two new ones. I got them and I guess ELF changed the tip of the brush because it use to be a felt tip and now its an actual brush. I HATE brush tips on eyeliner so very much. But to my surprise the brush works great!! I had complete control over the application of the eyeliner which is harder with a brush tip since sometimes bristles can go a different way from the others. But not this one. I was surprised and will definitely be repurchasing more especially for the price. And the lasting power is great for $1. It lasts me all day and all night and I don't need to spend $20 on a liquid eyeliner when I can get an awesome one for $1. Can we say DUH!!

Maybelline's New Color Tattoo 24HR Eyeshadow $8- $10: I use this shadow as a base mostly but I have used it as a stand alone and it lasts all day long and well into the night. The color pay off is great. I do use a base under this and I have not tried it yet without a base, but I don't usually ever try anything on my eyes without one so I don't see myself trying this without a base anytime soon..

Coastal Scents Think Pink Palette $15 and Winterberry Palette $20. These palettes each contain 12 eye shadows that magnetically stick to the palette they come in so you can customize them to your liking and add any colors back when you run out. These are great prices for a palette of 12 big eye shadows. Each eyeshadow pan alone is about $2 at coastal scents.com which is a great bargain by itself but you get a palette of 12 for cheaper too. The color pay off on these shadows are amazing without a base and even more amazing with an eyeshadow base. The Palettes and Swatches will be in order and I will give all swatches for each palette underneath the palette picture and the colors will be in order as they are on the palettes :) ENJOY!!

These are the brushes I'm so excited about! Sigma Brushes are amazing. So the 12 piece set (Essential Kit) I bought was $89 and I bought a Flat Top Kabuki for $16 and I also received a blending brush for free with my purchase. -F80 Flat Top Kabuki $16- and I use this to flawlessly apply my liquid foundation or tinted moisturizer when I'm not doing the whole foundation routine. (Where to find?? Flat Top Kabuki F80 )

-E25 Tapered Blending Brush (white bristles) (not sold separately this item was a gift for spending over $30 on the website. However the E35 is essentially the same exact brush). I use this brush in my crease area to blend out any harsh lines when using eye shadows.

-F40 Large Angled Contour (not sold individually but you can buy the F05 Small Contour Brush for $14 and it is not angled). I use this brush (F40) to apply my contour shade to my face and I sometimes use it for blush as well. This brush is the perfect shape for both and you can build your application with it.

-E40 Tapered Blending Brush (black bristles) $11- I use this brush to blend out my eyeshadow using another eyeshadow color since it's so fluffy it applies product lightly so I'm not covering one product with the other and instead am blending the two together to create the perfect gradient affect.

-F30 Large Powder Brush $19- I use this brush to apply my powder when I'm setting my liquid foundation.

-E30 Pencil Brush $9- I use this brush to apply make a defined crease and also in the tear duct area to apply a highlight to my inner corner. This small precise brush has many different uses and I love using it for them all.

-E70 Small Angled Shading Brush $ 9- I use this brush to apply my highlight color underneath my brow and I also use it sometimes to highlight my inner corner as well depending on the affect that I want there.

My Everyday Makeup

My everyday makeup look isn't too much an it's something I can do in 10 minutes tops!! Your everyday makeup look whatever it may be shouldn't take too much time or be too many makeup products and that's not including moisturizer or primer either. When your doing an everyday look you want to just go with the things that add a little extra something but don't make it obvious that you spent forever in front of the mirror. Now this post isn't about the actual products I use it's just about the types of products I use. This is ALWAYS changing. I can't stress that enough

::The products I like to use are::

1. A great moisturizer and definitely something with SPF in it since I'll be outside (I don't wear makeup just to be in the house unless I'm trying out a new make up idea). My favorite moisturizers are Aveeno Positively Radiant with SPF 15, Embryolisse, or Garnier Moisture Rescue with SPF 15.

2. Face Primer because if I'm wearing makeup I'm not going without my primer before any makeup application. I like to use too faced primed and poreless or covergirls serum primer with olay sold at any drugstore.

3. Tinted moisturizer is what I usually wear on an everyday basis if I'm going somewhere. I don't want anything too heavy on my face and wearing this tinted moisturizer always gets me compliments on my complexion. That tinted moisturizer is Ultra Defense by Urban Decay in bulletproof :) love this stuff!!

4. A little setting powder in case it's hot out and because I do have combo/oily skin. My favorite powders are maybellines fit me brand, loreal true match is amazing :) , and E.L.F. Cosmetics powder in honey for a dollar!! I just apply my powder lightly and my face is done :) sometimes I add a little bronzer but mostly I don't. If I do I'm currently loving E.L.F. Cosmetics matte bronzing powder also for a dollar :)

With all that completed the face is done and that all takes me less than 3 minutes not including my moisturizer because I let that sink into my skin for about 5 minutes before I apply anything to my face.

5. I'll use either a brown eyeshadow a gold eyeshadow or both on my eyes.. This I can do quick and in my sleep so that takes me 2 minutes tops.

6. Next comes eyeliner which of course I never ever leave the house without I can go without eyeshadow I can go without foundation I can even go without primer but I will never ever go without eyeliner. Eyeliner is my absolute favorite makeup product of all time and I own very many and I love them so much!! My favorite eyeliner right now would have to be loreal 16hr infallible liner in carbon black second best is millani and millani would be first but washing that stuff away is brutal it's that's lasting!!

7. Now I just add a little mascara and my favorite ones are from maybelline (3) and one from loreal. I absolutely love collosal volum express by maybelline that's the yellow tube :) I only need about one coat since my eyelashes are already pretty long :)

8. And the last thing I do is some lipgloss of course.. Now most of the time I don't need to apply this at home because I always have at least 4 in my purse.. Lipgloss is probably the one thing I own the most of and probably more than eyeshadow (maybe). My favorite at the moment is this nude shimmer color by sinful colors. The name on mine came off or was never there and I haven't seen them selling anywhere since after Christmas :( so when I run out it'll suck..

But those are my favorite products that I use everyday hopefully that wasn't too crazy and it seems like a lot but it take me less than 10 minutes to pull it all together so it's really not.. I'm going to do my everyday look for you guys soon and put up some pictures in a post titled everyday look :)

SIgma Brush Essential Kit Review

Hey Beautiful,

I recently purchased some brushes from Sigma. For those of you who don't know who or what sigma is, it's a company that makes amazing quality brushes and their brushes are compared to MAC a lot. I however have never bought a MAC brush as their price range is too expensive for my blood right now. So I won't be comparing them to MAC brushes, and even if I did own MAC brushes I still wouldn't do a comparison because this is a company who is making it's own and that's not fair to compare them to another company.

This review is my honest opinion and I'm not associated or being paid by this company to do this review. All my posts that I have made and will make in the future are all my honest opinion and nothing less.

Now for the brushes. I purchased the Sigma Essential Kit. This is a kit with 12 brushes and it retails for $89. I also purchased the Flat Top Kabuki F80 brush for $16 as well as receiving the E25 brush for free as the company sends you a free gift if you spend over $30 (I'm only assuming that the gifts are not the same every time so it's possible for you not to receive this brush if you make a purchase over $30.) The E25 is also not sold individually but the E30 looks to be the same brush. I'm going to be saying what I use each brush for, not reading from what the site says the brushes can be used for.

Now be for warned my brushes are dirty. Not disgustingly so, but some of them are dirty because I used them before I posted this. I've had these brushes for about a week so if anyone wants a more updated review about them later on just let me know in the comments below and I will review them again at the end of March. IT'S BRUSH TIME!!!

Okay when you receive these brushes they come in a cute pouch (mine was purple) and the brushes are located inside as well as this little pamphlet on what each brush can be used for. Now mine came with two pamphlets. One for the Essential 12 Piece Kit and one for the F80 Flat Top Kabuki brush. (The F80 is a part of another collection called the Synthetic Kabuki Kit, but the brushes can be purchased individually).

Now I was completely excited when I opened this package up. The brushes had black handles that were shiny and sleek looking. The sigma logo on the handle along with the name of each shines multicolored when it hits the light.

FACE BRUSHES

F80 Flat Top Kabuki- I've heard so many great things about this brush for the use of blending your liquid foundation and so of course I wanted a good brush that would make my foundation application look flawless. This brush is everything they say it is and more. I love this brush so much. There's no shedding of any kind so far and it blends my foundation out better than any brush I have ever tried before.

F30 Large Powder Brush- I use this brush to apply my setting powder or any all over powder to my face. This brush is one of the softest brushes I have ever felt and there's absolutely no shedding. I've spot cleaned these brushes everyday to every other day. I will be washing them later today so we will see how they hold up. This is absolutely the best powder brush that I have ever tried before and the biggest as well. All around great brush.

F50 Duo Fibre Brush- I use this brush to apply my blush when I'm not using my Contour brush. This brush isn't one of my favorite brushes but I don't dislike it. The good thing about this brush is that it is made of synthetic and natural bristles so it works well with liquid, cream, powder, etc. This brush is very soft but I wish it was a little more denser. The brushes aren't packed in there as well as I would want them to be for this brush to become a favorite.

F60 Foundation Brush- This is one of the brushes in this collection and by any company for that matter that I just don't like. I've never liked what you would call the traditional foundation brush. Their just not for me. I however use this brush to apply my moisturizer and/or primer most of the time to my face, but I feel like this brush gets most of the product and my face isn't getting the best use of the products I'm using. This is definitely my least favorite brush by any company and it's definitely my least favorite from Sigma as well.

F70 Concealer Brush- This brush is another kind of brush that for some reason I just dislike from any company. The sigma one isn't too bad it is however very small so using it on my face can take a while especially my under eye area. It would be a good brush to use to apply cream shadows to the eye area. I try to find uses for this brush as I don't want any of them to go unused since I paid money for them

F40 Large Angled Contour Brush- Before I give my review of this brush I just want to say that this brush is not for sale individually on the website. They however do have a small contour brush but it is not angled. Now this brush is one of my favorites. With this brush came my love for contouring. I never had the right brush when it came to contouring and as I don't need to contour too much I could let it slide, but once I received this brush I was like ahhhhh :) lol. This brush has definitely helped with contouring so much and I think personally is the best brush to use for contouring. I usually use this brush for my blush application as well because I like how soft it is and how well it blends everything out and it applies my blush beautifully as well. So I definitely need two of these brushes but I will have to find another alternative since it's not sold right now :( That's a major downside!!

EYE BRUSHES

E25 Blending Brush- This brush was a freebie from Sigma and I'm so glad that they gave it to me because this brush is one of my favorite blending brushes now. This brush is almost like the tapered blending brush E35 (which i want to buy as well as the E25 is not a brush for sale anywhere on the website).

E70 Medium Angled Shading Brush- I love how soft this brush is. I like to use this to apply my highlight color to my brow and sometimes my inner corner as well, but def my highlight brush for my eyes. This brush is great at applying the perfect amount and blending it out well. I use to use a big flat shader brush but I've been converted over.. The thing that I noticed about this brush that is better than a big shader brush is that it follows your arch well so the color placement is perfect and its not so big that it gets to close to any other work that your doing on your eyes. This brush is my new go to highlight brush.

E30 Pencil Brush- I've wanted this type of brush for so long. I just didn't want to spend alot of money on one brush and so I was glad when this came as part of the set. This brush individually is only $9 so I would have bought it had it not come with the set. Now this brush I use for so many different things it's probably the brush that has the most variety of uses in my collection at the moment. This brush I use for precise crease work. When I want the color payoff to be precisely somewhere this brushes' size makes that completely possible and it's a good blending brush as well. I also use this brush alot for highlighting my inner corner as it's small and precise in size. I love to use this brush to smudge out eyeliner and to place color under my bottom lashes. This brush is definitely your go to brush when your making a smoked out look of any sorts.

E55 Eye Shading Brush- I like this brush I don't love it. It's a good sized brush and its very dense so you can definitely pack on color and it'll give you great color payoff and you won't have to keep applying and applying shadow either. Now I'm not really sure what I don't like about this brush because I haven't figured it out yet. Every time I do my makeup I use this brush, but there's something I don't like about it. It's not anything right off or obvious at least with me and all around its a good brush. Maybe it's the size. *SHRUGGS* IDK lol

E60 Large Shader Brush- I use this brush to apply any kind of primer to my eye lids or any creme shadows or bases as well. This brush is a brush that I use everyday, but it's not a brush that I must use to complete a look. I can apply my shadow bases and primers just as well with my fingers. But I still reach for it everyday and before this brush I did use my fingers so maybe that's saying something :)

E40 Tapered Blending Brush- This is the blending brush with the black bristles and this brush is so soft and fluffy it's crazy. I love how fluffy this brush is. This is one of my favorite blending brushes as well as many other. I love blending brushes more than any other brush on the market. I own more blending brushes than any other kind as well. I want to buy the E30 Tapered Blending Brush from sigma as well that's the blending brush with the white bristles.

E05 Eyeliner Brush- This brush I do like but I don't find myself reaching for it too much. There's nothing wrong with this brush but I prefer using the small angle brush better to place on my eyeliner. This brush however is perfect to do the winged out part of my eyeliner. It's also a great brush to dip into your lquid liner to use if you have a great liquid liner you love but hate the brush that comes with it as so many of us do a lot of the time.

E65 Small Angle Brush- I love using this brush for various things. I use this brush to fill in my eyebrows as its the perfect size and shape. I use it to apply my gel liner as well as smudge out my liner when I want that smokey look. This brush has many uses for being such a small brush. I like that it's thinly angled as some angled brushes can be on the thicker side which is not something that I like.

Those are all of the brushes in the Essential Kit as well as two extra ones. SIgma brushes are my new favorite brushes and I will be making more purchases from them soon. BLENDING, BLENDING && MORE BLENDING!!!

Hey Beautiful,

I know that a lot of people always have questions about blending eyeshadows. You know that you have to blend them because sharp lines in your makeup is not flattering, but even though people have heard it time and time again not all know how to blend eyeshadows together well without it looking out 'muddy' or just an all over hot mess becoming one whole color (that's overkill on the blending by the way). So I'm here to help out with some tips that I've learned along the way to help me blend my eyeshadows better. Practice makes perfect so if theres a look you want to try or wear out do it a couple days/nights in advance and practice. And remember that blending takes time so take that extra time to blend out your shadows. Pratice and Patience :)

1. Always apply a eyeshadow base to your eye lids from the lashline to the brow. If this base is a liquid it should dry to a powder-like substance if not then you can always just apply that base to your lids and then apply a flesh tone (one that matches your skin tone) powder from the brow to where that liquid eye base is so that they meet. This process helps your shadows blend well together when you do begin to blend above your crease.

2. The second most important step is the brush(es) your using! You need a blending brush and they come in different sizes and shapes. A dense dome-shaped blending brush works best. *(At the bottom of this post will be a list of my favorite blending brushes, descriptions on them, etc.)*

And try to remember that when your holding your makeup brush(es) to hold them closer to the end of the brush never too tightly or too close to the ferrule (metal part). You should let the brush do the work for you. It helps blend seemlessly instead of over-combining everything together (again that 'muddy effect').

3. When blending out eyeshadows you should definitely take your time. Start with a little color blending each application of color out and build up from there. (This means that when you put a shadow in your crease/above your crease you should blend it out before you add more color to build upon. Always blend, but do so lighlty and before building color so that you don't create that 'muddy' effect).

It's easier to add color than to take color away (if you try to take away you will mess up your whole look and have to start over... NOT FUN!!). But remember that when you are blending your trying to blend out the harsh lines so do so as to not compromise the intensity of your eyeshadow color(s), so you should only blend around the shape that you are trying to achieve. You want a faded out (or gradient) look not a 'muddy' one.

4. When Blending shadows you always go darkest to lightest whether its inner to outter corner or lashline to browbone. Placement of colors is important because when using light colors they will brighten up areas or make them look bigger whereas dark colors create shadows and make things look smaller. So be very mindful of that when creating looks and color combinations. The sheer colors are usually your highlight colors and the placement of these goes in your inner corner and under your brow as a highlight. (Dark colors should never go in these places).

5. You should always apply the light colors first espcially if your collection of brushes are limited. And always clean off your brush(es) after each color and before another. It makes life a little easier.

These are the steps/tips/techniques/tricks or whatever else you want to call them that I use. Blending is probably one of the most important steps in your eyeshadow application if not the most important so perfecting your blending skills is a MUST! Now for the BRUSHES!! I just love makeup brushes. I think Makeup Brushes are my #3 favorite thing right after eyeliner and mascara :)

My Favorite Brushes To Blend With:

1. Sigma E25 Tapered Blending Brush (white bristles-not sold individually, but as far as I know the E35 is the exact same). This brush is fluffy but not too fluffy and it'll blend out your shadows well.

2. Sigma E40 Tapered Blending Brush (Black bristles) This is a very fluffy and not very dense brush so I wouldn't recommend this brush to do any heavy blending. But it's the perfect brush to add a nice light or skin tone color over your crease when your blending out shadows and you want their to be that perfect gradient effect.

3. E.L.F. Cosmetics Professional Blending Brush (White Handle) This is one of my absolute favorite brushes of all time. I love this brush to blend with. The price is amazing and defintely not something that can be beat. I think everyone should own at least 3 of these bad boys in their collection of brushes! This blends out shadows very well without overdoing it. I like the control it gives me and the brush does the work its suppose to do.

4. Sonia Kashuk Blending Brush. I don't know how the original blending brush works since mine was part of a collection that is no longer sold and I don't know if the brushes are the same, but I have a couple brushes by Ms. Kashuk and their awesome so I would recommend trying her regular blending brush. It's available at Target or Target.com. This brush is very dense and stiff and the bristles can seem to be a little too hard but if you hold the brush lighlty and close to the handle and not close to the ferrule it works perfectly.

5. Eco Tools Eye Kit-Highlight Brush. The Eco Tools Eye brush set was a xmas gift for 2010. Each brush has their brush use written on the bottom handle and The brush that says Highlight is the brush that I use for blending out harsh lines. This brush is really good and it comes as part of a set for your eyes thats not going to break your bank either. You can get the whole set for $12 whereas most brushes individually are in the $12 price range. This set can be found at Walgreens, CVS, and many other drugstores.

6. Sigma E30 Pencil Brush. This brush I don't necessarily use to blend out shadows but it's perfect for doing precise crease work because most blending brushes are fluffy and can place color down where you don't want it. With this brush I can place the color where I chose then blend it out to my desired taste.

This is going to be a post about some of my Favorite products of all time! This will not include my fav products of February which will be up the first week of March.. (Every Month during the first week of a new month I will put up a post of my favorite products from the month before. Wether it's just one or two products to a whole list! Of course to make it enjoyable I will try to but at least 5 new products every month. Now back to this post! Favorite Products!!

So some of these I have had for a long time or have been repurchased lots of times because I just love them so gosh darn much.

Face Products:

Loreal True Match Powder Foundation in C6. Now since it's winter this is a little too dark for me so sometimes I will use it to contour if I'm not doing anything too special that day. this runs about $10

Maybelline Fit Me Powder Foundation in 350 Caramel. The powder is perfect but their liquid foundation in this color is way too dark for my skin tone. $7

Revlon ColorStay Liquid Foundation for Combo/Oily Skin.. I don't remember my color because I threw away my bottle before I purchased a new one so I must refind my shade. But this foundation is BOSS! $12

Aveeno Active Naturals Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15. It's a thick formula perfect for dry skin (which i don't have, but I liked how it worked with my combo/oily skin). $18

Urban Decay Defense Tinted Moisturizer $30

Now I got this stuff on sale because personally $30 just for a tinted moisturizer is too steep for my budget however I have the old UD(Urban Decay) formula and bottle so they were clearance-ing (i swear its a word lol) the old one out for about $6 a bottle so I recieved a sample in the mail for this before (Great thinga bout sephora when you buy stuff you pick free samples as well) so I tried this and that whole entire day I got compliments on my skin so when i looked it up on UD's main website, not through sephora I was like *gasp* it's on sale lol. I had to buy it then i thought I don't want to buy it for $30 when I run out so I bought 5 bottles instead which totalled $30 and I've had it since November and I'm on bottle number one! This stuff is my go to baby!! Most of the time I don't even bother with liquid foundation. I just put on a primer some of the UD Tinted Moisturizer and set it with some powder lightly and I'm good for the whole day well into the night time.

Now for the EYE products!

UDPP in Eden and in Original $18 each!

Stilla Prime Pot $20- I LOVE THIS STUFF!! a little goes a long way i literally take my ring finger (when applying anything to your eye area, under eye area, or face use your ring finger since out of all your fingers it is the lightest finger and doesnt add too much pressure) and just lightly place it ontop not into the product and smooth it out onto my eye and it covers the whole eye and undereye area as well. So I've had this since the summer time and it's still pretty full. You can purchase this at sephora online or in-store.

Eyeliner's- Maybelline Master Drama by eye studio $9; Loreal Infalliable 16HR never fail eyeliner in carbon black $9; Milani Eyeliners (all colors) $8-$10 EACH.

Masacara's- Maybelline: Falsies Volum' Express $6-$7; Colossal Volum' Express $6-$7; Great Lash Big Mascara $6; Loreal Collagen Mascara $8 (ALL in Black)

Wet N Wild Eyeshadow Palette in #738 Comfort Zone $5-$6

Urban Decay's Naked Palette (the first one) $48 Sephora or Ulta or UrbanDecay.com

This palette has 12 neutral eyeshadows. It's for your best Naked Look lol. My favorite colors would have to be Virgin (great highlight or inner corner color); Sin (gorgeous light shimmery pink); Half Baked pretty gold color); Toasted (It's darker pink than Sin but more on the brown side.. if that makes sense lol); and Creep (which is a shimmery black).

LIP PRODUCTS!!

This product isn't a lip gloss or lipstick or lipliner its plain old chapstick expcept its not just any plain old chapstick!! It's amazing!! It's by blistex OF COURSE!! And it's fairly new just a couple months old! It's the two pack blistex revive and restore its two seperate blistex products that stick together one on top of the other! You have one for day time and one for nighttime. I love the Restore one thee best!!

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipliner #71 Cherry Kiss is my favorite lipliner or all time!

AND two lipglosses by Sinful Colors (yes the company that makes those great $1.99 nail polishes) these were for $2 and they came out during xmas time, but I havent seen them anywhere since. I did however buy almost every color in my store when I worked there.

Last but not least would have to be my fav all time make-up brushes of course most of them are my brand new brushes pruchased last week but those will be in my February Favorites post instead of this one.. so stay tuned!! lol)

Brush #1 is E.L.F. Blending Brush. The one from their professional brush line (white handles) for $1. I need to buy like 2 more.

Beginners MakeUp

Hey Beautiful,

Now I know there are some people who don't know anything about make up or are just getting started with makeup and they don't know what to get or where to get these products. I'm going to list the different products that I think are a staple when anyone is starting up a makeup collection of their own. Now the products I'm listing are just my opinion on what I think people should start out with but I'm not saying that these are the products/brands that you must have and must buy! Make up just like alot of things in life is about trial and error so you have to find what works for you because no two people are the same! So I hope you guys enjoy and I hope this is helpful to some!

Im going to break this down into sections: face, eyes, lips, etc.

FACE:

Primer. A primer is a must have because it helps your makeup last longer and its also an extra layer between your skin and your makeup. They have different primers for different types of skin so it all depends on your preference. I think that the three best primers I have ever tried are the drugstore brand Covergirl. The Primer serum with olay that runs for about $11- $13.
TooFaced Primed and Poreless that is $30. You can find this at Ulta, Sephora or TooFaced.com
Benefit Cosmetics Porefessional Primer which is $29 and can be found at Ulta, Sephora, and Benefitcosmetics.com

Concealer- used for concealing blemishes, undereye circles, and to brighten up the undereye area as well. When using concealers use a patting motion under your eye area as rubbing in your concealer can pull your eye area which is not good. Always pat never rub whether your using CLEAN fingers or a makeup tool (brush, sponge, wedge). Set your concealer with powder (lightly).

Foundation (liquid, powder, mineral, cream, etc. It all depends on your preference). If using a liquid foundation and you want your make up to last all day use a powder to set your liquid foundation (lightly. don't apply as much powder to your face as you would if you were JUST using powder foundation. Just a light dusting.

LIPS:

If your just starting out I don't recommend too many products for your lips. I think a nice gloss is perfect (not anything sticky and never pack it up). If you want lipstick i think you should have a nude lipstick (not anything with shimmer), a red lipstick (if your bold enough), a nice pink lipstick and not a scary pink either. Those are the three colors I would say to have. If you don't want to spend a crazy amount of money on lipstick either Covergirl has a great lipstick line as well as Loreal, Rimmel, and Revlon. Wet and Wild has $1 lipsticks as well (I have heard that you have to reapply throughout the day, but using a lipliner before hand can help out with that as well). And a brand sold at Target only called E.L.F Cosmetics (eyes lips face) has lipsticks for $1 as well as some that cost $5 (mineral lipsticks). You can also find E.L.F. Cosmetics online at www.eyeslipsface.com (I love E.L.F Brand and I will mention them alot in this post as well as future posts).

EYES:

This is my favorite part :) I love eye makeup thee most!! But I have recently started getting into the face part (foundation and such but mostly because I've learned so much about eye makeup that I want to learn about the rest).

Eyeshadow Primer
This is a must have item to make any look last all day and also to make sure that your eyeshadows don't crease (if you have oily lids you NEED a primer).

Some eyeshadow primers that I think work well are..
E.L.F. Cosmetics primer ($1 to $5).. They have two or three different primers

Urban Decay Primer Potion(UDPP) which can be found at sephora, ulta, and urbandecay.com $18

TooFaced Shadow Insurance- can be purchased at sephora, tooface.com, and ulta. $18

Stilla Prime Pot $20 Sephora and Ulta.

NYX Jumbo Pencil's are great bases but I would recommend using a primer underneath them as well because they tend to crease. NYX has a shadow base as well.

Concealer can be used as shadow base as well as long as its a concealer you know doesn't tend to crease (when you use it under your eye area).

Eyeliner
OK so for the eyes I think that everyone should have an eyeliner in their kit. It doesn't have to be black it can be brown/dark brown. I just absolutely love eyeliner and if I could choose one product to never go without that would be it! EYELINER!!! I feel like eyeliner pulls together your whole entire look. My top 3 eyeliners would have to be from Milani in black, Maybelline Master Drama by eyestudio in black, and loreal 16HR Infalliable in Carbon Black.

Mascara
This would definitely be on my top makeup products list! (I will be making one for you guys as well as top brands list as well). For mascara if your not sure how to use it or don't want to bring too much attention your lashes I would go with a dark brown mascara instead of black. There are all kinds of different mascaras. They have ones that add volume to your lashes, or curl your lashes, or add length to your lashes. It all depends on your preference. My Top mascara's would have to Maybelline (3) Colossal volum' Express, Great Lash BIG mascara, Falsies Volum' Express, and Loreal's collegan mascara. All in Black.

Eyeshadow
Now for eyeshadow you don't need all these crazy colors unless thats what your into. Now for eyeshadow as a beginner you need your staple eyeshadows and these are the ones that you will probably use the most. You need a highlight color eyeshadow that a light color something that is close to your skin tone or lighter(not white). You use this for under your brow as a highlight and in your inner corner alot. You also need a black eyeshadow (a matte one not anything with glitter or shimmer). You need a dark brown eyeshadow, a medium brown/light brown eyeshadow.These shadows are your go to colors/everyday colors. You'll use these for blending as well. You can also slowly add colors to your collection the best way to do that is by buying an eyeshadow palette. It's good to have a variation of matte shadows and shimmer shadows (lustre, frost, satin, etc.) These are your go to colors.

You can find some good eyeshadow palettes at these places:

-Target (E.L.F. Cosmetics) or www.eyeslipsface.com..Their 50 or 100 eyeshadow palette is under $20 and single eyeshadows under $4

-BHCosmetics.com eyeshadow palette's are all under $40 and single eyeshadows under $3.50

-CoastalScents.com palettes all under $45 and single eyeshadows under $2.50

Amazon.com also has different color palette's for cheap prices as well (not including shipping and handling of course so always read before ordering especially if something is priced too good too be true)

And of course you need some type of storage for these produtcs wether its a make up bag. A bin from the dollar store (they have great stuff to use to organize your makeup).
