What's a mesh?

Hucci group gifts

Since July, Second Life allows the use of meshes which are objects like sculpts or prims. The difference, as you can see in this photos, is that cloth meshes adapts to the body of the avatar while it moves, which means, for instance, no more trouble editing skirts when sitting!

Though, there are too many problems in the implementation of meshes yet. Meshes can only be used in mesh enabled sims and with a special viewer that supports meshes. SL old viewer and 2.0 don't allow users to see meshes. You'll need to download, for example, the "Project Viewer - Meshes"
