Aren't there enough people out there blogging about their lives?" Many of you might be thinking that this is all just "mindless drivel," as my old English teacher once explained. And that's alright. I get that. However, I thought maybe for my first post, I could explain a little better why I did decide to start a blog and what's in it for you!&nbsp; <br /> <br /> I decided to start a blog for a few different reasons. I really love to write. Whether anyone thinks I have any talent or not, I would venture to say it is a passion of mine. This past Christmas, my grandmother was going around the room asking each person if he or she had a New Year's Resolution. While I am not one to make serious resolutions (or even stick to them honestly), I said that mine this year would be to write more. I used to write a lot. Now my time is pretty much taken up by my three month old (who knew something so little could demand so much?!) and what is leftover is rationed out for cleaning, laundry, budgeting, cooking, and family time.<br /> <br /> There are a bunch of different topics on which I would like to write. All the top bloggers say that if a blog is to be successful, the passion of the blogger should be in the title. When I thought about what all I wanted to write about, I couldn't land on just one topic. I have many interests, and they don't all fit into one specific category, like yoga, Pilates, and ab workouts would in an exercise blog. Narrowing it down to simply one thing would be too hard. I'm definitely not know for my decision making skills; so, I decided that I would write about all of them. I am constantly finding new ways to improve my budget or cooking, new "hacks" to cleaning, and interesting articles or remedies on how to care for my family.&nbsp; <br /> <br /> Basically this blog could include everything from cooking to finances to DIY crafts to baby knowledge (which would just be experience and research based). I will always try to be organized in my thoughts and in the posts here on my blog. I think starting this blog will be a fun new way for me to not only connect with others, but also write and share my ideas. And maybe if I am lucky make a little extra money as a stay at home mom!<br /> <br /> I am always interested to see what others think, so please feel free to email me or reach out in the comments!
