Changes in Google

Well, Google is beginning to make a few changes.

Today, when I opened Google Chrome in my office, I noticed a change in the browser. An updated version of the Google Chrome browser shows the new "New Tab" page.

This is what I saw:

This seemed quite new, different, and better. I love this change. Apart from that, one more change was the way to accessing the applications. Here is how you access it now:

BLACK BAR ON THE TOP - GONE!!!

One more shocking change is that the black bar has been removed. I used to love that one.

Decisions!

Taking decisions at times may seem difficult. At times, when you're really stressed out, and you do not know what to choose over what, you may take the wrong decision and might later realize that the decision could have been made easily, and you'll get the solutions to most problems easily after taking the wrong decision. It happens to most of the people at most of the times. The main reasons because we take the wrong decisions are:

Thinking about everything and everyone other than yourself.
Thinking about other things rather than focusing on what you want.
Decisions made during tension, confusion, stressed state of mind, etc.
Having an uncalm mind during taking decision.
Taking decisions without discussing the problems with the people involved in it.

and there can be many reasons which I have not specified here..

So friends, whenever you take any decision, take it only and only when you are in a relaxed state of mind.. and yeah one more thing... DO NOT THINK TOO MUCH!!!

Recommended Movie #1

Hey friends, I'm back.. :) After a looong time.. :) Hope you're all doing great just as I am.. :) From this week on, there's gonna be a new section called "Recommended Movies" where I will put up movies that touched me in some way or the other.. :) Well, let us begin with the first movie.. :)

One of the best movies that touched me deeply was "Anjaana Anjaani" :) I loved the movie a lot! :)

Story: This story revolves around a failed businessman and a heart-broken girl who are trying to end their lives since they are tired of the continuous defeats faced by them. Even during attempting suicide they fail continuously and then later realize that life is giving them a second chance to live. They start living their lives by trying to fulfill all their wishes and they live each day as if it were their last one to live. You learn a lot about life from this movie which is damn good.. :) Their wounds slowly heal and their lives become stable again in the end.. :)

A learning that is worth remembering for life:

Relationships ~ The most delicate bonds.. yet the most powerful..

From my experiences till date, I've realized that relationships are easily made.. but very difficult to maintain.. Parents, do anything for us children.. They do not expect anything from us except love, care and support.. We must live upto them.. It is our first and foremost duty.. No matter what happens, our role as a child must be to take care of them no matter what.. They did so much for us when we were kids.. As they grow old, we must also do whatever the best we can, for them.. We must take care of them, fulfill all their dreams, and give them the best life.. :) Love my parents alot! :) Love them the most! :) Thank you God for the best parents! :)

Brothers and sisters ~ Siblings are the first best friends! :) You can share anything with them, play with them, fight with them, dream BIG with them, work seriously with them, etc, etc, etc.. :) Siblings jus rock! :) As an elder sibling, there comes a role of a guide.. a role model.. younger ones look upto the elder ones to move ahead in life.. Based on everything what the elder sibling does, the younger one is able to take a decision.. Siblings trust each other blindly, and they believe and give assurance to each other, that no matter what happens, they are always there for each other.. Love is a bond which I believe lasts beyond lifetime.. Love.. What can I say? A lifepartner is the one who compliments you and completes you.. Love is blind.. as people say.. Love is by character and not by external beauty... I've no experience of being in a relationship.... but all I can say is that being true to each other and having trust in each other makes the bond stronger.. believe each other.. no matter what! iPhone 4S - Siri!!!

Hey folks!

We all know that the iPhone 4S was recently launched on the 14th of October this year, and the most beautiful part of this phone is the Siri software. Siri is to iOS just like a personal assistant is to a boss. Basically, Siri is an application in iOS which acts like your very own personal assistant.. Now isn't that cool? Unlike other applications, Siri makes use of natural language processing to complete our requests.

It's like you'll just be instructing your "personal assistant", Siri for whatever you want to do, and it'll complete your request just like it's motto, "Your Wish is My Command."

You can set reminders on your phone just by telling Siri, "Hey Siri, remind me my mom's birthday on November 1st." And there you go... Your reminder for your mom's birthday is set. :)

You can search for any restaurants or any malls near your location..

You can basically do anything you want with it.. Even if you wanna know the history of some city, it checks with the internet and displays it.

You can also talk to Siri generally if you want time to pass by.. It'll be your good friend when you are lonely :p

You can also dictate any text you want to Siri, and Siri types it and sends a message to whomever you want.

Right from displaying weather forecasts to understanding and responding to what you say, Siri does everything.

Siri.. :) I love Siri :)

GOOGLE DRIVER-LESS CAR

Have you ever imagined commanding your car to take you to a place and it drives by itself? Well.. Your dream has just come true. The Google driver-less car turns your dream into a reality. Yes! This car drives by itself. The Google driver-less car is a project by Google that involves developing technology for driver-less car, being led by Google engineer Sebastian Thrun of Stanford A-I Lab & co-inventor of the Google Street-view. The system gathers information from Google Street-view with an A-I software that combines input from the video cameras inside the car, a LIDAR sensor on the top, RADAR sensors in the front, and position sensor attached to one of the rear wheels that helps locate the car's position on the map.

It detects anything on the road and acts according to it. This feature will help us avoid accidents and will also be a very safe means of transport. Very reliable and you can take control whenever you want. So what are you waiting for? Go Google it and explore more.. Coz it's coming soon... On a Road Near You!!! :)

The Indian Education System!

Well, we are all aware of the current Indian Education System. I mean no offence at all but to be frank, i believe the current system is making all the students to mug up what is there in their books and people just want the students to score marks. To tell the truth, marks aren't everything. The pressure of parents and teachers on the students is not only making them stressed up but it also decreases their confidence and some students find it easier to commit suicide than to face their parents with low marks. One of the reasons for students to get low marks is the lack of understanding. Teachers have to be committed to teach the students. They should not just train them to score marks, but also to solve all the problems of life. They should help them to realize their dreams, goals, in short, their ultimate destiny. I hope you guys are getting my point. Friends, we are not gonna achieve anything by just mugging up things. All that is gonna matter is the knowledge you gained while learning the subjects.. Not mugging up.. And the values and skills which you have gained by it..Make Your Dreams Come True... Learn for yourself.. Not for your parents.. Not for your teachers.. and definitely.. not for your friends.. Learn for yourself.. Make your passion your profession!!! Don't become a doctor, or an engineer just because some-one said so.. Become a doctor, engineer, or anything.. But do it with your willingness.. Put all your heart and soul in it.. and achieve big.. Though we can't change the whole system at once.. We sure can change ourselves.. :-)

High voltage power towers that look like men

You’ve seen giant utility towers before, and they don’t look like this. Their design really is…well, utilitarian.

These utility towers are designed by the Massachusetts architecture firm Choi + Shire, and they recently won an honorable mention award at the Icelandic High Voltage Electrical Pylon International Design Competition, as well as an award from the Boston Society of Architects for unbuilt architecture.

I believe that this concept project is called the Land of the Giants, and it is very aptly named. What else are you going to call two human-shaped towers that hold up power-lines?
