New Websites to Check Out

We have started a new web site that we think you will like, especially if your into vinyl decals. Introducing Vinylines. Vinylines will design and make custom vinyl decals for your car, truck, 4x4, skate board, bicycle, motorcycle, pretty much anything you want to put a decal on. We are also going to be working on some automotive specific decals and will be listing them on dragon automotive when they become available. To start with we will be making decals specifically for the new 5th generation Chevrolet Camaro, which we just bought as our new project vehicle. And with our new project car we have launched a website called 5GenCamaro.com which will link over to a social network site for owners and enthusiasts of the new 2010 Camaro.

We are currently working on a new version of our web site. This has been long overdue but worth the wait. We should be uploaded the new site this week. We will then continue to add content and features as time goes on, but customers come first so some of this may take some time.

A Long Weekend

I want to thank you all for your patience. It was a long weekend tweaking and working on the final DragonAutomtoive.com site issues to get it up and running properly. I am happy to report that all or almost all of the bugs should be worked out of the new web site now but if for some reason you run into a problem please contact us right away.

The New DragonAutomotive.com

We changed the DNS information with our registrar today so that by December 1, 2008 the new site will be fully functional on the new server. There may be some disruption as the new server info propagates the internet. This usually takes a day or two but may be slightly longer. Once this takes effect the old site will be completely removed from the internet so if you have any bookmarks to specific pages they will no longer work. I suggest making updating your bookmark to start at the DragonAutomotive.com home page instead.

We will be leaving the web site PerformancePartsAndAccessories.com online as a kind of test site. This site will showcase any new features or code changes prior to thier taking effect on the actual DragonAutomotive.com web site. It will be a fully functional site so any purchases made from it will be for real.

The day is almost here. On December 1, 2008 we will be moving the DragonAutomotive.com web site to our new server. This will cause the site to be down for a few days. Please shop the PerformancePartsAndAccessories.com web site while we make this change.

We will also be taking down the web site BilletGrilleStore.com. This web site was established primarily to test the new shopping cart and it has served it's short term purpose. There are other plans for this domain name so stay tuned to the blog for details. If you purchased a product from the BilletGrilleStore.com please contact DragonAutomotive.com for service related questions.

We appologize for any inconveniance that this will cause you but the small amount of pain is worth it. If you haven't seen the new web site yet I suggest stopping by PerformancePartsAndAcccessories.com and checking it out. The new site is easier to use. Each page has the complete master catalog on it so that you can shop for any vehicle and its part regarldess of what page your on. The new site also supports YouTube videos for you to watch and you can submit videos for us to include in the video rotation.

Mini Cooper Parts No More

Our client T-Rex Motorsports was informed by BMW that he had to take down his MiniCooperPartsOnline.com web site. This is unfortunate, his site was a great place to go for performance parts and accessories for the BMW Mini Cooper. It's always a sad day when the big corporation makes it hard for the small business to simply just do business.

New Luna Bella Restaurant Web Site

I just finished the preliminary web site for a new restaurant in Tucson Arizona called Luna Bella. This is the newest restaurant from chef Steven Schultz and his new concept, Luna Bella Italian Cuisine and Catering, will feature Northern and Central Italian fare; specializing in exquisitely prepared pastas, grilled meats and fish. The new restaurant will offer a specialty drink and martini bar, extensive wine list, exhibition kitchen, live entertainment, patio seating, and private dining.

The web site changes are almost done. The old site will be completely gone on December 1, 2008. We have made all of the link changes to the current master vehicle catalog page and will be implementing the new navigation menu on the site next. Existing links out on the web that go directly to a specific page will no longer work and should be updated to the new page by starting from the home page of DragonAutomotive.com.

Sneak Peak at New Web Site

Great news everyone. The new web site is pretty much done and as a blog reader you get the first glimpse of our new site. As stated in previous blog posts the new site is currently at the domain name PerformancePartsAndAccessories.com.

The new site is fully functional and has our most up to date products including a few coilover suspension packages for our new vendor Ksport. We will have more on this new vendor and others as we continue to work on this new site.

In a month or so we will be starting the migration process meaning that links to products at the DragonAutomotive.com domain name will be linked to the new store at PerformancePartsAndAccessories.com domain.

Work on the new site is progressing along nicely. We have 99% of the new site done and are just finishing up the main navigation menu. The soft open for the new site is scheduled for the beginning of August 2008.

Data Center OK

The problems at the data center have been resolved. The center came back on line Monday June 2, 2008 and have been running ever since.

Web Site Down Due to Data Center

Yesterday the data center that controls the entire TyComm Internet domain experienced a major hardware issue thus affecting all aspects of Tyson Communications and it's customers web sites. We apologize for this inconvenience but this issue is completely out of our control. The data center is working on the problem and will have thing hopefully back up and running as soon as they can.

How this will effect us. All sites are safe and the actual server was not damaged but there is no email and any email that is currently in route will not be delivered. I am sorry and suggest that you hold off on all your email corespondents until the system has been restored.

We are pleased to announce that the K&S Farms web site ksfarmsindy.com is now open. We will be working on the K&S Lawnscape site next so stay tuned for further updates.

Another client site that is now open is Mountain Vista Real Estates web site weknowtucson.com. WeKnowTucson.com offers Tucson and Phoenix Arizona homes for sale. There will also be an accompanying web site at mountainvistarealestate.com which will be used for their property management plus homes for rent and sale. Mountain Vista Real Estate is also associated with Tucson & Scottsdale Golf Vacations.

New Web Design Client

I would like to introduce our newest web development and design client K&S Farms. K&S Farms is located on 80 acres in Sheridan, Indiana in northern Hamilton County. Thousands of shade and ornamental trees are grown at this location. There are other off-site locations where we grow numerous other varieties of trees. Also, we have 400+ acres of premium Bluegrass sod at nearby farms.

We are just getting started with their projects and are very excited to be working with them. We are currently working on the ksfarmsindy.com web site which is for their tree farm/nursery. This will also have an accompanying web site called TheTreeNursery.com.

Also their landscaping business called K&S Lawnscape Inc. with the web address of kslawnscape.com will be getting a web site.

Spin Off Web Sites

We have begun working with a new shopping cart and in doing so started spinning off web sites from DragonAutomotive.com. Our first spin off site is BilletGrilleStore.com and will feature only billet grilles for cars and trucks from the current high quality manufacturers that we deal with.

In building these new web site we are going to be developing our own shopping cart platform. This will allow us to build you an on line shopping site in half the time of our past e commerce platforms. This new shopping cart also allow us to have more control over the web hosting as it is now tied in with our current hosting platform.

We will post more information and links to other new sites as we develop them.
