How To Get A Free Checkup Without Healthcare Coverage

Getting Healthcare Insurance has become one of the most difficult task a family has to go through right now. If a person is not getting great insurance through a group rate from their job, it's almost impossible to afford to get basic coverage.

I have been looking for affordable healthcare for the past couple years and the lowest I've seem to come up with is well over $400/month. How could anyone with bills and a family afford something like this. Not only is it high, it doesn't cover anything and the deductible is around $5000. What a rip off!

Because I believe in knowing nothing is seriously wrong with me, I had to come up with some way of getting checkups without paying for it. Now you may find this crazy, but it's has been very affective for me. I now get 2 checkups a year at absolutely no cost to me.

I'm sure you're wondering how can this be done without waiting in long lines at the free clinics and still not get waited on.It's simple, I do it by DONATING BLOOD.

If you want to get all your vital signs checked, plus get checked for a multiple other things, just give some blood a couple times a year. The blood that is taken from you is completely analyze for everything before being accepted. And if there is anything wrong you would be contacted letting you know what was found.

So, if you're like me and can't find affordable coverage right now, but still want to get a yearly checkup, help out the blood bank and by doing so get yourself checked out. Might sound a little crazy to some, but it beats not knowing something about your health.

Valerie Harper Gets Voted Off Dancing With The Stars 10-7-2013

No she wasn't the best dancer on the show, but my vote went to her every week. Just the courage she has and the inspiration she is given others sometimes can't be overlooked.

Valerie Harper, at age 74, came into season 17 of dwts under unusual circumstances, and that is she was diagnosed earlier this year with terminal cancer.

Valerie says how much she loves to dance and I guess I was hoping we as fans of the show would give her that Trophy at the end of the season. I know she wouldn't have been the best dancers and it seem not right to give her the trophy... but I was just hoping.

Well others didn't feel the way I did, so we have to say goodbye to Valerie Harper as fans vote her off the show last night. With the lowest score this week with 17, and barely hanging on last week she has to say goodbye.

Now there are nine couples left competing for the Ballroom Trophy. Join ABC next Monday night and find out who will be the next contestant to go.

Find Out Which Couple Was Voted Off DWTS 9-30-13

Last night on DWTS, another celebrity was voted off the show. Even though he was a favorite of fans, it was no shock that Bill Nye was voted off.

I must applaud him for even giving it a try because he was advised after hurting his knee to compete in this week performance.

It was still unclear to me who would be voted off because Valarie Harper kept things interested forgetting a big portion of her dance routine and getting a very low score along with Science Guy.

In the end I just don't believe fans had it in their hearts to send Valerie home with her battling cancer and having so much fun dancing.

Next week it will be 10 couples left to continue fighting for the Ballroom Trophy. Tune in to ABC to find out who will be the next couple to go.

Remember the show is only on Monday with vote offs being the same night. Hate to say goodbye to Bill even though he tweeted to fans it was the right choice.

Who Was The First Celebrity To Be Eliminated From Dancing With he Stars Season17

It was Latin night on Dancng With The Stars, as well as elimination night for one couple. That's right eliminations are held on Monday instead of Tuesday night.

Last night elimination consisted of last week scores, viewers votes, and tonights scores. The results kind of caught me off guard because I already had my mind made up that a certain contestant would be biting the dust first. Don't critic me for it cause you did the same thing after the first week of the show.

The bottom three contestants put for for elimination were Bill Nye (science guy), Elisabeth Berkley (actress), and Keyshawn Johnson (former football player). Getting two low scores on both weeks along with the audience voting, Keyshawn Johnson gets to be the first celebrity to be booted off.Keyshawn seem to want to just burst out in tears. I guess he though Mr, Science Guy was headed out the door first.

Normally we see NFL players do well on the show, especially as the season progress. Maybe fans remember Keyshawn as that outspoken, arrogant football player that he use to be.

Next week will be round two of elimination. Remember, all eliminations are Monday nights this season so make sure to tune in to ABC at 7pm for the show.

Week One Dancing With The Stars 2013 Review Amber Riley

Season 17 of Dancing With The Stars has begun, and nerves were definitely there. Each couple danced, but not each couple was ready.As expected we saw a lot of mess ups and celebrities not being able to keep the timing with their partner. That is until Amber Riley came to the stage.

The Glee star, better known as Mercedes danced with four time champion Derek Hough and they gave the crowd something to cheer about in week one. Riley and Hough came out blasting with a fun, fast pace cha-cha that even had the judges in awe with it being just the first week. Both of them showed a lot of energy and Amber really kept up the pace with Hough.

Judge Carrie Ann said she was speechless as she begin bowing and worshiping Amber on her performance. Even Judge Len couldn't believe how well the couple performed in just the first week. He stated they looked in mid-season competition level.

All judges gave the couple 9's which gave them the highest score for the evening. Not all couples received the great praise and scores. Science Guy Bill Nye received a low score of 14, and football great Keyshawn Johnson received a score of 17 which made them the bottom 2 celebrities.

Next week everyone will have to step up their game because elimination will be immediately after their performances Monday night, instead of Tuesday.

I don't really see Bill Nye hanging around after next week, so he is my first pick for elimination. Who do you believe will be the first to go?

Nothing against him, but looking at previous shows, guys like Derek and Val are awesome and it would be hard for me to choose her right now. I will instead go out on a limb and choose Christina Milian.

Miley Cyrus Gone Wild On MTV Video Music Award 2013

Miley Cyrus topped all performers last night at the MTV Video Music Award and I don't mean in a good way. The former Disney Star had everyone in the building to at home wondering what is really going on with Miley.

We all know how bad she wants to be all grown up and don't want people to look at her anymore as that sweet little Hannah, but how far is too far.

While children were in the crowd waiting to see Hannah, they get almost an x-rated show from the disney star. Everything about the song and dance routine(if that's what you call it) has sex written all over it, and not just sex, but rape.
When the show opens with the bear, I'm thinking here Miley recapturing her teen audience, but then she appears with her tongue hanging and acting like a cat or something.. Midway through the show, R&B singer Robin Thicke appears and the show gets even worse as Miley is holding a gigantic one finger glove gesturing and she pushes her twerks her body on him.

As the crowd showed their displeasure with all the gasps, I was wonder what was Billy Ray, her father, thinking about this. He too made a lot of money from the Disney show. If he didn't really have an Achy Breaky Heart, his young daughter should have given him one last night.

The 2 time Ballroom Champion said she wanted to take time off to pursue a great opportunity in Australia, which is her home country.

Kym has been on Dancing With The Stars since season 3, winning her trophies with celebrities Donnie Osmond and Hines Ward

She will be returning back for Season 18, and wishes everyone Good Luck on this season.

Dancing With The Stars Season 17 will begin on Monday September 16, 2013. Last year Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough won the Trophy. Derek has confirmed that he will be coming back for this upcoming season.

Dicovery Channel Naked And Afraid In Africa EJ And Kellie

Two strangers come together to try and survive Africa jungle with no food, water, or clothing for 21 days. The couple must find everything for themselves. In order to survive this journey, they must come together as a team.

The couple consist of a man and woman, EJ and Kellie. They are given a choice of one item they choose to have on this adventure. EJ chooses a knife believing it will come in handy for maybe carving a sphere for protection against predators. Kellie chooses a cup, which proves to be important as time moves on.

The couple meets and are given a map of where they are to go. The map also consist of where water would be. As the couple begin this 21 day journey trouble already starts only after a few hours as the sun is barreling down on the couple and heat exhaustion begins to set in. EJ wants to move at a faster pace, but Kellie is wanting to stop and observe each and everything and is causing EJ to wonder if they would survive.

As the days move on, the couple has been without water and a fire for 3 days and have traveled over thorns that has been sticking in their feet the entire time..Even though they have found a water hole, the water must be boiled first, due to animals urinating in it. EJ knows that if they don't get a fire to boil water soon, their bodies will shut down. After about 3 hours of trying, EJ gets a fire going, and now that cup Kellie chose for the trip has come in handy because it can be used to boil the water.

With their bodies hydrated, the couple starts back on their trail.After several days EJ has had enough of those thorns sticking him in his feet every step he makes. He decides to make sandals for the couple to make their feet more comfortable. With their sandals in place they continue on.

Around day 12 Kellie begins to hit the wall. The couple has been with hardly any food and it has taken a toll on her physically and mentally. EJ has a one on one talk with Kellie and Kellie states that she wants to be an equal partner and pull her own weight. As they move on they find a shallow mud hole with a couple of fish in it. As EJ unsuccessfully tries to catch the fish, Kellie moves in and sits down in the mud with her legs open and catches four fishes for them to eat.

The next day as they are about to start on their journey, EJ foot seem to be getting infected from the thorns and can't really do anything. Kellie now has to try and hunt and gather wood for the fire on her own because as time goes on EJ foot is getting worse.

After a couple of days with EJ foot getting worse, producers of the show intervene to get a closer look at his foot. It seem that EJ would not be going forward with this adventure, but he's determined and tells the producers he does not want to quit. The producers decides to get him to medical attention and let him continue on.

Day 21 comes around and now the only thing left for the couple is to get a fire going to alert rescue that they have completed their journey. The couple gets the fire started and the rescue helicopter picks them up and makes them a survival of a 21 day journey in the jungle of Africa with no water, food, or clothing.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians Are Bruce And Kris Jenner Getting A Divorce?

For the past couple of months, rumors are surfacing that Keeping Up With The Kardashians Kris and Bruce Jenner are on shaky ground.

On the first episode of season 8, audience gets a glimpse of the feud. After a evening hanging out with his buddies, Bruce is slammed by Kris that they act worse than children, and that he needs to go and get a mancave to entertain his friends.

Bruce decides that he needed a little bit of space and rents a home in Malibu. How long does Bruce spends at this place, we don't know. In the end Kris did go to Malibu and get things squared away with her husband of 23 years. They say that there is nothing wrong with their marriage, but it seems that Bruce is getting tired of being an outcast.

Their daughter Kylie defends her mom and dad saying that the rumors are stupid and that she lives with her parents and everything is fine.

This may be true, but there seem to be a little wear and tear on their relationship according to the show, but I'm also mindful how strategic this family is when it comes to keeping themselves in the spotlight making controversy. Normally it's Kim, but now the parents.Let's see how much we as fans bite on the bait.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians: Will Scott Let Kourtney Go In His Back Door?

On the season premiere of season 8 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Scott makes a proposition to his beloved Kourtney. The proposition was to let him enter in the back door. Of course Kourtney was not down with this idea at all, but after discussing it with a sister she decided to have a little fun with it and place the shoe on the other foot.

While in bed Scott brings up the subject again about taking things to a new level and letting them try out his idea. Thinking Kourtney would pass again, he gives her assurance that he would be very gentle.Kourtney then decides to give him her proposition. Season 8 of Keeping Up With The Kardashian starts with what brings us viewers back season after season...DRAMA!!!

This episode starts with a male conversation between Rob and Scott and the kinky things Rob does with female friends.This kinky talk gets Scott worked up enough to go and try to convince Kourtney about having anal sex. Of course Kourtney is not down with it but decides to have some fun with it. After Scott keeps at it that she should have an open mind about it, she comes back and make a proposition to him. She said she would do it if he lets her do him anal.OUCH!! Scott says he will call her bluff so we will have to see what will happen.

Meanwhile, Kris Jenner decides to allow Bruce to have some of his friends over for a get together. Immediately she regrets that decision because she can't stand how Bruce messes up the house. Bruce realize that he needs space and decides to look to rent a place in Malibu.After getting the place Kris feels that he was spending too much time at the place and decides to go and get her man of 22 years. Bruce comes back home and Kris plays dress up and everything seem to be ok, at least for now.

We can't end the blog without talking about the one and only Kim Kardashian. Kim was stressed throughout the entire first episode.She sold her home and she and Kanye West have purchased a home together but the placeis not livable at the moment.Her divorce from Chris Humphrey is not going smooth, coupled with the fact that she is pregnant and knowing that her house won't be completed before the baby arrives. The family is taking it like Kim is not as excited as they are about the pregnancy. She tells her mother that she is overwhelmed and just needs a little space.

Later Kim, Kourtney ,Khloe, and Kris goes to the family to reveal the gender of the baby. After the doctors moves his scope a few times it was determined Kim would be having a baby girl. Kim begins to get a little more excited than previous now that she knows she will be having a daughter. She calls Kourtney and off baby shopping they went.

As the show ends, Kim is having bad pains in her stomach and gets to the hospital. We will have to wait until next week to find out if it was just all the stress that cause these terrible pain.I will keep you updated next week so please subscribe to this blog to get the latest through emails.

Tornado Strikes Moore Oklahoma

Today, May 20,2013, a severe tornado about a mile wide and traveling over 200 miles per hour destroys the city of Moore, Oklahoma. As of now authorities are not aware of just how many fatalities or injuries there will be.The local hospital

Two schools were reported hit. One of them being a elementary school, which was actually tore in half where the gym use to be. It is reported that children were inside the school at the time the tornado hit. Governor Fallin said the tornado hit so fast that there wasn't any time to get the children to safety or have parents pick them up.

Law enforcement, including the National Guard has arrived on the scene to get things under control and organized. As of 6pm, more than 70 children have been pulled from the debris at the school.

More information will be coming concerning injuries and fatalities as Emergency Rescue Teams remove debris that have people trapped.The last major tornado recorded in Oklahoma was back in 1999 when winds were as strong as over 300 miles per hour.

Our thoughts and prayers are out to each family who have lost their home, or still looking for family members that are missing.

I will keep this post active as more info come through.

Update: As of 5:30 tuesday morning, the death toll has reached 24 and expects to continue to climb as the rescue continues. About 7 of those deaths are children.

Who Got Eliminated From Dancing With The Stars March 26,2013

Well, just when you think you have things figured out, SURPRISE! Before Dancing With The Stars revealed who would be the bottom three couples that would be going up for elimination, I decided to go out on a limb and try to make the prediction myself. Well for my efforts, I got two out of three right choosing Andy and Lisa to be part of the bottom three. My third pick was D.L. Hughley, who was horrible, but it was Victor Ortiz who joined the bottom three. So, which of these fine celebrities got the boot.

As the host began to announce who was to be eliminated from the show, he ask Dorothy Hamill if she would come out. Dorothy made a shocking announcement that because of an injury, doctors had advised her to withdraw from competing. So instead of someone getting eliminated from the show, it was Hamill who eliminated her own self from the show. What a shame too, because she did very well in the first week of competition.

So, for the bottom three contestants, this gives them another week to improve on their dancing skills to avoid being placed there next week. Find out next week who will be staying and who will be leaving Dancing With The Stars.

Kaci B Gets Dismissed From Bachelor

Last night on the Bachelor, Sean makes a tough but very wise move by not giving a rose to Kaci B.

Now Kaci B. has been one my favorite girl to watch out of all the seasons I have watched the show. Last season, I was for certain that she would end up with Ben. Well, we all know how that went after Ben visits her parents.

On this season Kaci B. returns and try to find love with Sean, who she shared a friendship outside of the show.

Seans gives it a try but just couldn't find any romantic feelings for her.Kaci did not help herself last night as she makes a bold move that backfired on her.

To try and score points with Sean, she pulls him aside to let him know about the tension between two of the other girls. Sean did not understand why she was telling him this because no one has stated to him they were having a problem. It made Kaci B. look like a drama queen and she got dismissed for it.

I did love the way Sean spared her any further shame by pulling her aside before the rose ceremony and dismissed her in private.

I don't think we have heard the last of Kaci. I look for her to be a Bachelorette soon, because she had a great fan base from last season.

Kim Kardashian Pregnant With Kanye West Baby

Kim Kardashian has reported that she is 3 months pregnant with Kanye West baby. So far, Kim states that she hasn't been having any morning sickness so far. This will be her first child and she said it has been an adjustment getting use to different changes in her body.

The reality star is still married to Chris Humphries, if you actually called that a marriage. I expect Kanye will be husband number two since he plans to get down on one knee real soon to make it official. Never seen a person that can love a person so much, but can move on to someone else in a heartbeat.

Kim has made her living off her looks and body. I'm sure a baby clothing line will be next for her since she is already in the fashion business with her sisters.

This will be one pregnancy that will get major attention as time moves on.

The question is when will Dancing With The Stars 2013 begin. The lineup for season 16 has not been announced yet. But, if things go like last year the season will start around the middle of March. I can't wait to see who the celebrities are.

I think Dancing With The Stars need to come up with something very special this upcoming season, because rating fell drastically last season. Because of the way the voting system is set, most of the popular celebrities who can't dance very well wind up staying on the show for weeks, while not so popular celebrities who can actually dance, gets voted of the first couple weeks. Maybe fans are getting tired of that was the reason for the fall in ratings.

Obama Needs To Win Second Presidential Debate

Tuesday October 16, 2012 will begin the second of the three Presidential debate between Gov. Romney and President Obama.

In the first meeting in Denver, Gov. Romney pulled off a convincing surprised win against Preseident Obama who is a very good debator. Romney took full control of debate and as a result gave him a boost in the polls.

Earlier this week we watched the Vice Presidential debate between Congressman Paul Ryan and Vice President Joe Biden. Paul Ryan came into this meeting to keep the momentum going for Gov. Romney, while Vice President Biden was looking to stop the bleeding. This was surely a great debate. Politics, humor,sarcasm, and a lot more was given by both parties. Joe Biden seem to come out the winner of this debate and Democrats hope that it gives President Obama some momentum going into his second debate.

The second Presidential debate will be held at Hofstra University in New York. The setting will be that of a town hall meeting. Undecided voters will be able to come and ask questions about domestic and foreign policies. I look for Obama to really come out on the attack this time around.

It will be interesting with just three weeks to go before elections, and polls showing them in a tie, to see how these two fight for these undecided votes.

Joe Biden At The Vice President Debate

If the Democrats were looking for an aggressive Joe Biden in the Vice Presidential debate, well they got it. Joe Biden was..., well Joe Biden.

The Republicans were hoping that the young Congressman Paul Ryan would continue the momentum that Mitt Romney had built during the Presidential debate with President Obama.

The Democratics were hoping that their seasoned Vice President Joe Biden would stop or slow down the momentum Republicans were having.

Watching this event I think both parties were satisfied with the performances of their party. I believe Ryan held steady to his numbers and policies as the Vice President were using different gestures to throw him off track.

On the other hand Joe Biden did what he was suppose too and that was to drive home the accomplishments of the past 4 years and give undecided voters a reason to re-elect President Obama. The question is, did Biden turn off some undecided voters with his eye rolling,pointing finger,interrupting, and most of all condescending attitude that he was displaying. He did everything but pat Paul Ryan on the head.

Normally Vice Presidential debates are not all that important to me, but this year and 4 years ago it is different. I believe that both of these guys will play an important role in decision making.

I just want to know from others, did Joe Biden go over the top or did he do what was needed at this time

Every 4 years our country votes to retain or move to a new President Of The Unites States. Along with the President will be the Vice President. The question is, how many of us take in consideration the Vice President? Now of course 4 years ago we saw how a Vice President pick could cost someone an election when John McCain chose someone like Sarah Palin.

But aside from the 2008 campaign, how important are the Vice President debate and what will you be looking for in the debates? I'm sure most of this debate will be about healthcare and the economy, but are we really listening to them over the Presidential debate?

I will be paying close attention to this debate, because I do believe Paul Ryan will do most of the policy making decision if Romney/Ryan wins the election. Ryan is a very discipline numbers guy and I want to hear more about this healthcare voucher that he has worked on.

Now when it comes to Joe Biden, I'm sure he will try and do what Obama didn't do in his debate, and that is give Americans a reason why they deserve 4 more years.It will be interesting to see how aggresive Biden gets because we all know he has a way with words and could do major damage to this election.

I had my popcorn for the Presidential debate and threw it away because there was no debate. I hope this debate will be different tonight.

Who Attacked Christina Hawthorne

Last year I wrote on TNT series Hawthorne, starring Jada Smith. A lot of questions have been asked lately about the attack on her in episode one of season 3. The question most asked was who was it that attacked Christine.

As a nurse, Christine saw a lot of battered women come in and out. There was this one lady that continued to come in from abuse from her husband from season 2. Christine encourage the lady to take her daughter and leave her abusive husband.

The husband attacks Christine in the parking lot and makes sure she lost her baby. That was the reason for the continued kicks to the stomach.

Now if you remembered as Christine was in the hospital recovering from the attack, there was this young girl name Vivica Cross, who was dropped off by her father because her diabeties got bad.The girl had colored a picture of Christine unborn child. That little girl was the daughter of the man that attacked Christine.

Dectective Nick murdered the man and gave Christine the ring that belong to him. That was the reason in the very last episode before he got shot, he told Christine he had killed for her.

I hope this clear up some things for fans who wanted to know who attacked Christine. I will try and find a picture of him to show.

Which Two Couples Were Voted Off Dancing With The Stars 10/09/2012

Tuesday night featured double elimination for celebrities and partners. Celebrities gave a great show on monday night leaving fans with a tough choice of who would be leaving.

After fans voting, the first couple that eliminated were season 2 winner Drew Lachey and partner Anna Trebunskaya. After the announcement, Lachey thanked everyone and said he had a blast and wouldn't change a thing.

The second couple that got eliminated were season 5 winner Helio Castroneves and partner Chelsie Hightower. Helio thanked his sponsers and America for voting for him to be a part of this year's competition.

Bristol Palin and Kirsten Alley survived to see another week on the show. A lot of feedback shows some fans stating that tuesday night was their last night watching the show, because the show is not about who are performing the best but has become a popularity contest.

Even though Bristol and Kirsten have shown great improvements since first appearing on the show, do you believe they should have been voted off by now?
