How to invest in Mutual Funds in India?

This dividend payback is not guaranteed as it is market dependent and performance based. Also the other drawback is, with every dividend payout, your returns on maturity are reduced, as it is with most money back schemes.

Under Dividend Re-investment Option, whatever dividend the company declares, will be utilized to purchase more units in the same fund and thus you can purchase more units without investing additional money. It is like the fund itself is earning and purchasing additional units. But as it is dividend based, this reinvestment can vary and is again dependant on fund performance.

Generally speaking, Growth option should be your first choice for making any investment in Mutual Funds as it will not make any payouts and all the appreciation in the fund value or the returns earned will be added to your eventual corpus on maturity. This will give you the benefits of compounding and give more returns. Also dividend re-investment is a good option as even though it distributes dividends, that amount will again purchase you additional units in the fund. Dividend option should only be taken if you wish to have some sort of money back investment or as a means to some variable additional income.

How to invest in Mutual Funds in India?

Investment Advisor: Traditionally in India we always take advice from friends and family or some finance advisor. Same can be followed for mutual fund investment in India. You can ask someone you trust who has invested in mutual funds before or your finance or investment advisor, to guide you through the fund selection and the process of investing in mutual funds.
Banks: You can also do it through your banks as lot of banks partner with lot of fund houses and will help you choose a mutual fund to invest in.
Fund Houses: You can contact the fund house or AMC itself, by visiting their website. If you do not know the website, just Google it and you will have all the details and you need to just contact them and in most cases their representative may contact you for further process. Demat: In case you have a Demat account, you can even do it online through your demat account.

Things to remember while Investing in Mutual Funds in India:

KYC: For mutual fund investments in India, SEBI has made it mandatory to have KYC process done for all its applicants. KYC is Know Your Customer and you need to have done this procedure to be able to invest in Mutual Funds. However, worry not as if you are a first time investor without KYC, the medium through which you are investing in the mutual fund India i.e. Investment Advisor, Banks, Fund House etc., will help you through it.

Choosing the right fund:

JEE Main 2016 Opening and Closing Ranks of a particular branch or course in an institute will reveal the score-range and rank-range of students that have been admitted to the program and the institute. For a student who appears for JEE Main their All India Rank and the cut-off scores by different colleges play a vital role in making or breaking their future. As it is on the basis of their rank only, they will be entitled to get an admission in these prestigious colleges. 

Students will get admission in which college and which branch depends on the Opening and the closing Rank. By Opening rank I mean the rank that is mentioned in the beginning of the cut-off list and is the highest rank/ cut-off score accepted by the colleges. And the closing rank means the last rank/ cut-off score that is accepted by the participating colleges. It is the lowest of all. Students who have scored less than the ‘Closing Rank’ will not be considered for the admission in any of the participating colleges. 

These scores are usually published on the official website of the colleges as and when they are declared. Once, the applications are received and still there are some vacant seats, then the second cut-off list is issued by the institutes. The rank or the cut-off score will be slightly lesser than the first cut-off list and even after this there are some vacant seats, then the third list is issued. This is known as counselling sessions and with each subsequent counselling session, the rank comes down. At times, after the third round, spot rounds and extra spot rounds are also held by the institutes.

After the results for both- JEE Mains and JEE Advanced examination had been declared in May and June respectively, the admission process is poised to begin now in participating colleges. JoSAA– the Joint Seat Allocation Authority has been set up by HRD Ministry to regulate the joint seat allocation process to a total of 92 institutions through single platform. The joint counselling is currently scheduled to commence from 24 June after the rank list is announced online.

The All India Ranks (AIR) of the candidates will be based on their JEE Main score (60 per cent weightage) and Class 12 scores (40 per cent weightage). On the basis of JEE Main 2016 rank list, admission will be granted to the candidates in B.E /B Tech in engineering institutions including NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Step 1 : Visit the JEE Main official portal, click here [OR] Click the direct link given below.
Step 2 : Search for ‘JEE Main rank, result 2016’ tab.
Step 3 : Click on it, and enter the details of registration number, date of birth etc,. And click on submit button down to the details.
Step 4 : The JEE Main results, rank, score, merit list screen.

24 June– registration and filling-in of choices for academic programs will begin.
27 June (10 am to 4 pm)– mock seat allocation will be displayed based on choices filled by students as of 26 June, 5 pm.
28 June (5 pm)– candidates registration an choice filling ends.
29 June– reconcile the date, allocate seats, verify and validate.
30 June– 1st round of seat allocation result will be published at 10 am. Candidates will have to accept the seats between next 4-5 days.

How good is Amity University Noida for B.Tech in CSE and what about its other campuses?

Originally Answered: Is Amity University good for engineering, and do they have good placements?

Your question has two separate entities. First, whether the Engineering course itself is good. And second, regarding placements. Being an alum, I should be able to give you a satisfactory answer.

But, before anything else, let me clarify, that Amity is in NO way, whatsoever a fake university! It is recognized under the UGC, and its degrees hold good stead! So please do not have any doubts regarding the University's credentials. It is really dis-heartening to read such a statement for my alma-mater!

Next, the engineering course, in my opinion is more theoretical, rather than being more application oriented. Saying that, classes are regular, exams are conducted in an orderly manner and the faculty is fairly decent, who would probably do a decent job of getting the engineering concepts in place. But, of course, it depends on how much YOU yourself are willing to invest in the subject matter. Case in point, my class mate from Amity ranked #1 in GATE and is currently studying in IISc.

As for placements, one word: decent. The definition of the term 'decent' here = getting a job with an avg. package, in a good company, at the end of four years.

Unless you count the elite IITs, NITs and a few other good engineering colleges (like BITS), the placement process across engineering colleges, in my opinion, is fairly standard except for a few outliers.

Having a decent enough GPA in Amity, would almost guarantee you a job in one of the IT companies (avg. package being around 3.5L). If you're lucky enough, you could probably end up in one of the few companies, which would be related to your engineering domain. (By the end of my tenure, I ended up with placement offers from Airtel and ITC Infotech.)

Final verdict: Considering the sample of other private universities (barring the likes of BITS) present across India, Amity's Engineering college is indeed, decent. Positives include, a fairly structured course, discipline across the campus, good infrastructure and the college is always, trying to improve. It has indeed come a long way in the last 10 years. As for the negatives, I'd say, lesser exposure to applications and the faculty could be better.

“Well, first of all I would like to warn you that if you want to study seriously , it's not very good university for you.
Its good for people who really want to enjoy their college life to the fullest or in terms of Amity students "FUN".
It has huge over priced restaurant and cafes. Best is to have cafeteria lunch as it is cheaper but may/may not be as tasty as it looks.
The way to earn good internals is to butter teachers somewhat and also perform in minors. A little preparation will take you miles in majors.
Placement is ok with almost all students getting placed. If you work hard you will get placed earlier that the rest and ATPC puts in full effort to get all students get placed.”

“"A few red buildings" said one person. "I came here because i didn't crack the entrance exams for engineering or medicine" says another. There are many such opinions of young students (well not that young considering the fact that they have been preparing for the entrance exams for a year or more after 12th boards) who have a look on their face on the very first day of entering this university, with its crimson-colored buildings, convoluted infrastructure.etc.
However, after passing out last year.i.e.2012, I have come to the conclusion that it really does not matter how many negative reviews you read or over-advertised commercials you see on television. This university has its ups and downs like every other university/college in India. It boils down to the fact that every student has to find his/her way through in college. You have to scrounge for opportunities and literally push people back in order to secure your future.

My advice for freshers or 2nd year students
1) Don't screw your academics. Trust me, it may not be an indicator of a successful person but still it matters in a cut-throat competitive environment.
2) Be proactive. Participate in debates. Join a club, placement committee.etc. On campus or off-campus.
3 ) A few Teachers are a bit biased towards students who keep dogging them around and end up getting more marks in the internals. Keep a lookout for them. And don't screw your internals thinking i'll make it up in the externals out of 70 marks. Also maintain your attendance at 75%. It would be a utter waste not to give the paper because you got debarred.
4) Tips for students studying Biotechnology(as i was a student of the same) -
Don't think that the course becomes easy once you enter the 2nd year with Bio based subjects. It is equally hard across the semesters.
5) THE MOST IMP TIP - REGARDING PLACEMENTS - Please note that the college does not guarantee 100% placements. It may sound fanciful in a brochure you picked up on your way to the campus but the real scenario is quite different. A few companies will come to campus and it is absolutely imperative that you sit for these companies and grab your offer letter ASAP. Do not worry about the salary or work they would offer you. Most of the time it will be below your expectations. But nonetheless, you must try your luck.

A final word of advice. Don't worry if you could not crack IIT-JEE, CBSE-PMT, AIEEE.etc. and ended up at Amity. The real journey has just begun. I know students who are studying at IIM-A, MIT after passing out of Amity. It is a matter of perspective. Take it as learning experience and work hard. Party harder!”

Its placements are average , but off late it is working hard to provide you some real good placements. Again I feel since it charges high fees, it spends considerable amount on placement. I easily got 3 offer letter after graduating from CS amity. Though I have to admit faculty is bad. You will have to learn programming out side your classes. Also attendance is strict.

start working in your basics from 1st year itself. Learn one programming language atleast and data structures. When I was living in a pg, I gave a try to ducat and NIIT, but they were really pathetic. I came across these classes held in Sector 44, 1 km to amity. These are run by himanshu sir in name of Dexter Coding Labs . I can assure you the best job after taking courses from him. Lot of amity students learn languages from him and have gone on to be success. You will be amazed to discover the power of programming. You have free demo classes there, so you might want to check out these cool classes. He forces you develop thinking, logical ability. One topic recursion , i used to be afraid, but now love it. thanks to Himanshu sir. We also did lot of interview preparation and practical projects which helped me bag dream job and thanks to amity for calling companies.

Well firstly,it depends on how you define "smart". The description varies from person to person. If by smart you mean the ability to solve complex equations and calculus, then its definitely true in the case of IITians (who i respect for their hardwork). Otherwise i would attach a tag of smart to someone who has common sense and a good control over his brain and tongue. Probably a person with a keen sense of observation.

Now students from Amity have gone to study at University of California, MIT, IIM-A.etc. It depends on how much effort you put in college despite certain setbacks which you inevitably face by not graduating from a "top-tier" institution.

International placements scene - Since i was in the placement cell, we did have one company coming in from Japan, but it was conducting the entrance exam on a national level, not college specific. A good amount of companies had come for the mechanical students as far as i know with very limited seats and high level of competition. You also need to have the right contacts to move your way through the placement process.

FORGET ABOUT GROUP DISCUSSIONS
They are no longer included in the recruitment process.

First you need to clear the General Aptitude Round.
For this you need to be able to solve quant, logical reasoning and verbal questions quickly and accurately. If you have been preparing for GRE/CAT, you are good to go. Else grab RS Aggarwal and start solving.

Next is the technical interview
Study C++, Java, Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, Networking and DBMS. It seems like a huge task, but you have to be able to answer basic and fundamental questions related to these concepts.

Next is HR interview
Cakewalk... just tell the employers what they wish to hear

If you have a sub-6 CGPA, don't have high hopes from Amity, get into Android/iOS development and join a path-breaking start-up.

Now both are almost similar in ptoviding education. You will get quality education.
I am an amitian studying in amity gwl. And i have friends studyng in amity noida and CU both.
I am gonna tell you only the things i know abt the two.
Now if you see Amity noida-its a very very famous university. In my view it has a good standard, good education they provide, facilities best but the fees is 250000 around for btec and also some scholorship you cn get if percentage is good. The crowd there is good, RICH bt they are like normal in studies, many are not studious type. You would get to see people smoking, chilling, dring bears.
Campus is awesome, well constructed red bricks all around, ccd and some more cafe types are inside the campus.
The main irritating thing will be you will for sure have subjects like french/german, Also behavioural science, and english for 8 consecutive sems And also evs for 1st year. And the timing will be 9.15 to 5.10 monday to friday. Attendence is 75% must in all subjects and then 1mark/5% more after 75%. That means 5 marks are for attndence. This attndnce creates prob. I am in amity gwl. N my 1 frnd is in amity noida so i can say this that strictness level differs. Amity gwl. Is more strict dn amity noida as amity gwl. Is new. Amity different universities have different fee structure.

About CU i dont know much. I know abt campus dt is good. White bricks. Max. Students are punjabis. Fee structure is around 110000per annum and afyer this some scholorship you can also get. University is near mohali and far from chandigarh. Strictness is very high like for ex.(my frnd told me) no one can stay in hostel after classes strt evn if you aren't well. You have to get permisions from authorities. And also guards rome around in campus and someone bunks or misbehave they would be punished. If any1 bunks or remain on hostel they hv to pay some amount as penalty.

Education is very good in both universities. Facilities are also good.
Cochings are near to amity noida bt if considered CU, they are very far frm university.
Minimum % to tk adm. is 60% in both universities bt if you hv source or visit some authorities in universities

Ill keep it short and too the point.

Computer science at amity university is more focused on the theoretical part however you will have plenty of opportunity to go ahead and implement your learnings. Most colleges do not focus much on practical knowledge but again this is in no way stopping you from going ahead and practicing on your own (no spoon feeding). Learn a new language of your interest once you grasp the basics.

After this lets come to the internship part, they are decent enough. I did my internship in AT&T which is a pretty good organization to go ahead and work for even for a short duration. Most students get internships on their own so you can go for Amazon however it does not come for internship recruitment.

Placements are good in comparison to a lot of private and other colleges. In my batch the maximum package went for 8.5 LPA but again if you perform well in your internship that same company might offer you a package much more(13LPA + in a friends case), so it all comes down to what you did different in those 4 years of your college which later makes it much simple to get into a company you want while others are struggling with testing and support jobs.

Work hard, learn something new, become an expert (its not at all difficult you've got 4 years) you'll find much much better companies than you can imagine.

Amity is like any other private fraud engineering college in India. Since this college does not provide the following facilities to its students, hence it cannot be judged as a good engineering college.

Academics: The college teaches bullshit things to the students so that the students do not get skilled, so that they are shifted as clerks in the services based companies owned by the colleges owners.

Critical analysis of syllabus:

# - Not related to computer engineering. Hence, useless.

## - It is a skill it cannot be imparted by any other human. The directions available at internet is sufficient to get direction from to master this particular skill. It takes about 2000 hours of hard work to get comfortable with any skill. Nothing can be taught in 10 hours by any human.

### - Better video tutorials from the innovators/inventors of the subject are available.

Non-compulsory attendance rule.
Meaningfulness of the syllabus taught to the students.
Quality peers.
Efficient administrative staff
Distance of the college from a spot where more than 10 eateries are located.

The college does not fulfills any of the above mentioned things. Hence should not be considered a good engineering college.

Placement:

This college does not produce any engineers, and only shifting of the graduates as clerks happen from this college. Hence it should not be considered a good engineering college.

Coming straight to your questions ( please read my other answers about Amity for different concerns) The computer science department of Amity Noida is very good and doing really very well. Good faculties coupled with great infrastructure and facilities, although Director of computer science department is really very rude (one & only Sikh with such a bad attitude and behaviour) but I don't think anyone really bothers him and hopefully he must have been replaced by someone else.

Now coming to placements & internship, yes you'll get good opportunities for computer science branch. Amity Noida is always better in terms of placements as compared to any other private university or institution in the country, it's also having DELL & HCL's country headquarters just besides it's campus ( You'll be surprised to know that the whole land is actually leased by Amity where the companies are located) and many more IT companies are located just in neighbourhood.

From my experience I can tell you that apart from top engineering institutes, the package remains nearly same in all colleges (3-4) lakhs per annum.

But few things you must consider while selecting a college:

- Brand name of the college
- Fees
- Dont just see how many students were placed and where, but also try to confirm how many got their joining dates. Telling this point as I have seen many companies might select candidates but later decides to postpone joining by a year or totally cancel it
- Backup plan. Its not directly related, but if the above point comes true for anyone (I hope no one experience this) but if it happens then you should have multiple off-campus interviews and higher study option

I've done B.tech in AEROSPACE from AMITY UNIVERSITY, NOIDA so I think I'm the best person to answer this question. On an average you will get a package of around 3-3.5 lakhs per annum if you are an average student.

But I think to choose Amity for B.tech you must think of the following points.

Your parent's should have at least 15 lakh ruppees for your studies
You are looking for a Master's after

I will not suggest you to go for Amity instead do some other course from DU or any other university, dropping a year is again an option but only if you are dedicated and motivated enough

I really can't say about this, The little bit of research i did for this university says, it a good college in India. Comes in top 100. So sure it may be good. But before taking admissions and if you have really good grades, I suggest you to check for past history of the college, Which companies have come for campus recruitment in the last 3 or 4 years, Do they impress you...
Check the staff and their qualifications and read about the comments given by student, probably on FB or see what you can generally find on Google. Most students would give a negative feedback, but check their reason.

Well B.Tech CSE is one of the better courses at Amity University, Noida. I wont advice you to take up a course at any campus other than Noida, as placement drive for all campuses is held at Noida, and companies come round the year. Amity is average in terms of academics, and above average in terms of placement. Placement rate is high (nearly 90%) and but average package is 3.6 lpa You can see the details of placements of every year at Amity Placement . Its not an advertisement page. Rather, we students get the placement updates(companies coming, students placed etc) from there itself. Regarding the internship between 6th and 7th sem, you generally have to arrange one on your own. But 2 or 3 companies do come and this year, one of my friends got selected for internship at Microsoft. Needless to say, he is the topper of our batch. And yes, most of the things shown in Amity's TV advertisement are hoax. But not all. Amitians have recently filed one of the highest no of patents compared to other colleges in India. Also QS world university rankings(one of the most reputed one) has listed Amity in one of the top 300 universities in Asia, where only 17 Indian universities made the cut.Also, here you get a good exposure, as Amity offers almost every course, Engg, Mgmt, Law, Arch, Arts, and you get to get in touch and interact with a variety of people.

But again, reputation is where Amity lags behind.

So to conclude, if you get a stream of your choice in Manipal, then you should go for it, I'm not sure of Jaipur campus though :P

PS: Changing your stream after 1 year is very tough as you have be among the toppers. Topping your entire Deptt. is much harder than topping your class in grade XII, especially if you haven't lived in a hostel before.

Hello Friend,I strongly castigate your question .I think you are pre-decided to join the University and you are expecting a response in favor of Amity University (if not please ignore).
Asking for Amity University means you failed to dig in JEE Mains but still no problem bro. Study anywhere, every college is good .The only difference between colleges is their students . If you will work hard regularly with passion and commitment you can get job anywhere.
(please don't prioritize your course selection by fatty salary.Otherwise you will end up cursing yourself).
In Addition Few Tips For CSE -
Get Strong hold in Mathematics
e.g Calculus.....and so on.
In Computer focus on Data structures and algorithms

Highest pay depends on your skill.If you got it , even "google" would hire from Amity.
These college will not help you with your Internships.

Manipal Institute of Technology does not offer international placements. But it offers international internships via some student exchange program.

Also lot of students get into some of the best US colleges for higher education - Stanford, CMU etc. It is not easy to crack admissions into these universities but if you are dedicated and stay focused you can surely qualify. My advice - start preparing early. These universities look out for variety and excellence in your resume - high GPA, high GRE score, recommendations from known professors, sports, projects, internships, contribution to open source.

DTU 2016 B.Tech Admissions - Delhi Technological University is the new name for the erstwhile delhi college of engineering. As per the dtu act, delhi act 6 of 2009, the dtu is a non-affiliating teaching and research university focusing on “growth with quality”. It offers new programs in emerging areas of engineering and technology, guaranteeing an interaction between science and engineering.

It communicates education and training in 15 branches of engineering at undergraduate level during morning session, while 4 b.tech (evening) programs is offered in evening session with an intake of 182. Full time and part time postgraduate programs are offered in 22 specialized fields of engineering and science. Ph.d. Programs are offered in all the branches of engineering, applied sciences and management. Further, mba program with special focus on technology management and supply chain management is also offered under delhi school of management (dsm) of dtu.

The 4 b.tech (evening) programs are civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and electronics & communication engineering. The number of seats available is 45, 46, 46 and 45 respectively.

The filled application form along with a demand draft of inr 1000/-, drawn in favour of “the coordinator, b.tech. (evening) entrance examination”, payable at delhi, needs to be submitted to the dy. Coordinator (admn.), b. Tech. (evening) entrance examination-2015, b.tech. (evening) office, 1st floor, fw1-ff4, electrical engineering department, delhi technological university (formerly delhi college of engineering), bawana road, delhi-110042.

DTU 2016 B.Tech Admissions Eligibility criteria:

The applicants must have passed a state diploma examination of three years duration in the corresponding branch or any other examination, recognized equivalent there to by the delhi technological university with a minimum aggregate (aggregate of all six semesters / three years) of 55% (45% for sc/st candidate).
In case the applicant is not possessing a diploma in the corresponding branch, their candidature shall be examined by the equivalence committee constituted by vicechancellor, dtu.
For mechanical engineering the following diplomas are considered equivalent to a diploma in mechanical engineering awarded/recognized by state board of technical education:
(i) diploma in mechanical engineering with specialization in any subject, (ii) diploma in production, automobile, aeronautical and industrial engineering, (iii)diploma from tool room and training centre and (iv)lateral entry courses of the above specializations.

DTU 2016 B.Tech Admissions pattern

There will be 2 papers for dtu. Paper i will comprise of science (physics, chemistry and
Mathematics). Paper ii will comprise of engineering (civil, electrical, mechanical, electronics and communication). Each paper will ask 90 questions and the maximum marks will be 360.
The admission to b.tech. (evening) programme shall be done by delhi technological university on the basis of the rank secured by the applicants in the entrance examination. In case more than one candidate have equal marks in the entrance examination, the marks obtained in the qualifying examination as stated in the eligibility conditions will form the basis of merit for admission. In the event of marks in the qualifying examination also being equal, the candidate born earlier will be given preference.

The total marks obtained in mathematics will be the marks awarded for mathematics in Paper1 and Paper 2. The total marks obtained in physics and chemistry will also be calculated in the same way. After a few days back, we’re discussing on the Blogger contact form. In 2013, Blogger acquainted new gadgets for users. In initial days 2013, they released Wikipedia search box gadget and then official contact form for blogger. After updating the Blogger template editor, many teen-agers joined to Blogger and most of existing users were engaging in Blogging daily basis. You know the importance of the contact form in various situations. It has become an indispensable widget that every website and blog must have. The Blogger contact form widget has some features such as working speedily (send message to email account of blog owner immediately), simple to work (no word confirmation) and littleness (can be used in whether fixed or fluid templates) etc.

A few weeks before, one of my friends on Facebook asked me that can I use Blogger contact form widget in a post page or stand-alone page (static page). So, this post is for you who intend to add a contact form in separate pages (add contact form to blogger page). Let's start embedding the official contact form widget into a stand-alone page in Blogger.

Add contact form widget to Blog

You should add the contact form widget so that showing it on a specific page. If you already have added it, please omit these steps and who don’t added official blogger "Contact Us" widget can follow below steps.

1: Sign in to your Blogger account and go to Layout.

2: Now click on “Add a Gadget” link and “More Gadgets”.

3: Now find “Contact form” page element and click on it.

4: If you want to change the title of the contact form widget, so alter it. Then click on “Save” button.

Hide contact form widget in Blogger

The next work to do is hiding the official blogger contact form widget showing in the sidebar. So we have some methods to do it. One method is removing the contact form html code. Although one day when you want to show it again in the sidebar, you might be confused by asking “How do I add removed contact form widget code to my blog?”. It is easy to add. But you have to do some works. So I will show how you can hide contact form gadget using CSS. Whenever you want to show contact form, you just need to remove the piece of CSS code from the template.

Note: Don't overuse or add new HTML codes for Blogger contact form code. I have seen many bloggers get troubled by editing and adding new fields to Contact form. You'll not be able to receive values/inputs for your fields, also your contact form will not work in static pages well.

It’s a frustrating job when I try to add contact form in my blogger contact us page. Since, by default blogger only provides a widget to add contact form in your side bar therefore you need some coding techniques to add it inside your contact us page. However you can find those coding by searching on internet but for me the problem arises when my submit button was not working. All of my fields are working fine except submit button. It was the most frustrating time that I had ever faced. I worked for 2 hours to add that contact form in a page but at last the result was noting. At last I thought of adding my own contact form instead of using blogger’s form and then I found a way to add a perfect working blogger contact form in contact us page.
Before learning the trick to add contact form inside of your contact us page lets learn to add it in the sidebar.

How to add Blogger Contact Form in Side Bar

Before starting this guide I hope that you are logged in inside of your dashboard.
Step 1: Click on Layout tab which is available in your dashboard and then click on Add a Gadgets which you can see after clicking on Layout.

Step 2: After Clicking on Add a Gadget a new window will pop up showing you different kinds of gadgets that you can add to extend your blog functionalists. Click on More Gadgets and now you can see contact form, add it and then click on Save arrangement.

How to Solve Windows 8.1 and 8 Black Screen Issue upon boot

Today I have installed Windows 8.1 as I was facing black screen issue when I start the machine. For my Windows 8 PC's I have faced black screen issue after installing Windows updates in October 2013 and for Windows 8.1 issue starts immediately after upgrading Windows 8.0 to Windows 8.1.

I found out possible solutions for the issue and the problem was with the graphics card driver issue.

Let start,

Shut down your machine and start Power On. Start PC in safe mode.

I entered in safe-mode by repeatedly pressing F8 key. You have to be patience to enter into Safe mode. While entering into safe on screen you will get "Please Wait" message.

Now press Troubleshoot option.

In the Troubleshoot screen, press Advanced options.

In the Troubleshoot screen, press Advanced options.

Now you will get below message that machine is about to restart in order to change several Windows options, including enabling Safe Mode after restart. Press Restart.

Press the F4 key on your keyboard once machine restarts to enter into the Safe Mode. If you you fail then you have repeat all above steps again.

Now go Control Panel-> System-> Device Manager

Expand Display Adapter & disable listed Display Adapters driver. In my case its Intel HD Graphics. Also disable listed Monitors.

UPDATE-1 - If your issue persist download & install Latest Display Card drivers & motherboard chipset drivers. I was facing same issue after above workaround but by installing latest display card & intel motherboard chipset drivers it resolved.

JEE Main 2015 - Age limit, Educational Qualification and Other criteria

JEE Main eligibility 2015 indicates the criteria to be fulfilled by the applicant in order to be eligible for engineering admissions. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) that conducts the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) has listed some points. Eligibility criteria of JEE Main 2015 includes details of age limit, educational qualification, number of attempts and such details. Candidates must keep in mind that the date of birth as mentioned in their class 10 mark sheet will only be considered for the age limit. The educational qualification they mention in application must also be verifiable.

The upper age limit to be eligible for JEE Main 2015 is 25, as on October 1, 2015.
This age limit is relaxed by five years for SC, ST, PwD candidates.
Candidate should have either appeared in class 12 in 2013, 2014 or 2015.
If candidate appeared for class XII exams in 2012 and did not pass / qualify that year; but passed in 2013 are also not eligible.
In class 10+2, candidate should have studied at least five main subjects.

Date of Birth: Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1990 are eligible. In case of SC, ST and PwD candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years. Date of birth as recorded in the 10th Class Certificate will only be considered.
Year of Passing Qualifying Examination (QE): Only those candidates who have appeared their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2013 or 2014; or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2015 are eligible to appear in JEE (Main).
Number of subjects in the Qualifying Examination (QE): Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th. The candidates who have taken four subjects are not permitted to write JEE (Main) Exam.
Eligibility for B.Arch and B.Plan. Admission in NITS: Mathematics subject in class 12th along with 50% marks in total including five subjects.

Number of Attempts

The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at JEE (Main) shall be limited to 03 (three).
CANDIDATES ARE ALSO ADVISED TO NOTE AND VERIFY FOR THEMSELVES THE ELIGIBILITY FOR APPEARING IN JEE (ADVANCED) – 2015 AS WELL AS ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO VARIOUS INSTITUTES. BEING ELIGIBLE TO WRITE JEE (Main) AND BY OBTAINING AN ALL INDIA RANK IN JEE (Main), A CANDIDATE DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY BECOME ELIGIBLE FOR ADMISSION.
CANDIDATES SEEKING ADMISSION TO THE INSTITUTIONS IN THE STATES OF GUJARAT, MAHARASHTRA, MADHYA PRADESH NAGALAND AND ODISHA, WHICH WERE EARLIER ADMITTING BASED ON THEIR STATE LEVEL EXAMINATION, ARE ALSO ADVISED TO VERIFY THEIR ELIGIBILITY AS PER CRITERIA LAID DOWN BY THESE STATE GOVERMENTS.
No. of Attempts and Age limit for the states of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Odisha: Since the states of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland and Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system from 2014. The age limit, for admission to institutions in these states which were earlier admitting candidates based on their state level examinations, will be as per their past practice only. The number of attempts in such cases will also remain same as per their past practice. This will however be obviously not applicable for admission to IITs/NITs/IIITs/CFTIs.

Subject combinations required in the qualifying examination for admission to B. E./B. Tech. & B. Arch. /B. Planning Courses in NITs, IIITs, and other CFTIs shall be as under.

Eligibility for Admission to Other Institutions: The above mentioned policy could also be adopted by other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) and participating Institutions. In case a State opts to admit students in the engineering Colleges affiliated to state Universities, the State may prepare separate rank list based on criteria decided by them.

JEE Main 2015 Eligibility for Appearing in JEE Advanced Exam

The minimum academic qualification for appearing in JEE (Advanced) – 2015 is that the candidate must have passed in final examination of Class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination. Those appearing in these examinations in 2015 can also appear in JEE (Advanced) – 2015 provisionally.
All the candidates aspiring to take admission in the undergraduate programmes at IITs and ISM Dhanbad for the year 2015 will have to appear in the JEE (Main)-2015 (Paper 1 (B. E./B. Tech.)). About 150000 top candidates based on the performance of JEE (Main)-2015 (Paper 1 (B. E./B. Tech.)) (including all categories) will be eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced)-2015.
Admissions to IITs/ISM Dhanbad will be based only on category-wise All India Rank (AIR) in JEE (Advanced), subject to conditions as defined in JEE (Advanced) – 2015 website.
A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in consecutive years irrespective of whether or not he/she passed the Qualifying Examination. Those who have attempted IIT-JEE in 2013 or earlier are NOT ELIGIBLE to appear in JEE (Advanced) – 2015.

List of Qualifying Examinations

The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized central/ state Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi; etc.
Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.
Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.
Any Public School/ Board/ University examination in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
H.S.C. vocational examination. [Only for Admission to IITs]
A Diploma recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education of at least 3 year duration. [Only for Admission to IITs]
General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London / Cambridge / Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level. [Only for Admission to IITs]
High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva. [Only for Admission to IITs]

In case the relevant QE is not a public examination, the candidate must have passed at least one public (Board or Pre-University) examination at an earlier level. [Only for Admission to IITs]

JEE Main State Code of Eligibility

State Code of eligibility means the Code of the State from where the candidate has passed Class 12th /Equivalent qualifying examination by virtue of which he/she becomes eligible to appear in the JEE (Main) for admission to B.E/B.Tech and B.Arch/B. Planning Courses of the institutions/ Colleges of the States/UT.
Note- If a candidate has passed Class 12th/ Equivalent qualifying examination from one state but appeared for improvement from another state, his/her state code of eligibility will be from where he/she has originally passed Class 12th/ Equivalent qualifying examination and not the state from where he/she has appeared for improvement.
Indian nationals passing the equivalent qualifying examination from an institution abroad, the State of Eligibility will be determined on the basis of permanent address in India as given in the Passport of the candidate. However the candidates who have passed/appearing in the qualifying examination from Nepal/Bhutan the state code of eligibility is given in the table below.

It's been two years since Adobe unveiled a new version of Photoshop,
so it shouldn't come as a surprise that the company's engineers have
been toiling away behind the scenes on a major update. The outfit's
clearly ready to start showing off the fruits of its labor, though, as
it just unveiled the beta version of CS6. All told, the outfit's added
65 user-feedback-inspired features, including a new crop tool, expanded
video editing options, auto recovery and the ability to search for
specific layers. Fans of the dotted lines in Illustrator now get the
same vector tools in Photoshop. Additionally, every slider for the
Camera Raw 7.0 plug-in (exposure, contrast, etc.) has a freshly tweaked
algorithm. And for anyone who's ever looked on helplessly as Photoshop
locked itself up during a long file save, projects can now save in the
background while you work on other things. Looking for more info? A

Adobe Photoshop CS6 beta screenshots

Adobe's
also made some refinements to existing features. The liquify tool, for
instance, now has a larger maximum brush size, and works in real time so
you can see the effect in real time. Adobe's also added two features to
complement Content-Aware Fill, which was first introduced with CS5.
These include one for moving objects to different part of the image, and
one for patching up a spot with content taken from another part of the
picture.

With
change comes some potential readjusting, though. In addition to adding
more functionality, Adobe's overhauled the UI so that it has a dark
background by default (this is customizable, to an extent) with a
generally cleaner smattering of icons and menus. Even the setup process
has been overhauled: now, users must sign in with an Adobe ID before
installing the software. Though there are contingencies for people
without an internet connection, the idea is that people will enjoy more
efficient support if they don't have to fumble around for a long-lost
serial number.

There's
one thing that hasn't changed and that's pricing. When this goes on
sale it'll cost $699 as a standalone product, and $999 for the extended
version. For now, though, you can download the free beta (it's only
available as an English- and Japanese-language program for now). If you

with an official list of new features and tweaks.

Homolytic Bond Fission:
Homolysis: The bond cleavage in which each bonded atom gets their own contribution

Cleavage takes place due to HELP (H = Heat, E = Electricity, L = Light, P = Peroxide)
Favored when Electro negativity difference is zero.
Cleavage takes place in non polar solvent.

Heterolytic Bond Fission:

It is formed when the electronegativity difference between the bonded atoms is high.
Formation is favored by polar solvent

Positive charge of the solvent attracts the Negative pole of compound and the

Aliquot. A portion of the whole, usually a simple fraction. A portion of a sample withdraw from a volumetric flask with a pipet is called as aliquot.
Analytical concentration, The total number of moles per litre of a solute regardless of any reactions that might occur when the solute dissolves. Used synonymously with formality.
Equivalent. The amount of a substance which furnishes or reacts with 1 of H⁺ (acid-base), 1 mol of electrons (redox), or 1 mol of a univalent cation (precipitation and complex formation).
Equivalent weight. The weight in grams of one equivalent of a substance.
Equivalence point. The point in a titration where the number of equivalents of titrant is the same as the number of equivalents of analytic.
End point.The point in a titration where an indicator changes color.
Formula weight. The number of formula weights of all the atoms in the chemical formula of a substance.
Formality. The number formula weights of solute per liter of solution; synonymous with analytical concentration.
Indicator. A chemical substance which exhibits different colors in the presence of excess analyte or titrant.
Normality. The number of equivalents of solute per litre of solution.
Primary standard. A substance available in a pure form or state of known purity which is used in standardizing a solution.
Standardization. The process by which the concentration of a solution is accurately acertained.
Standard solution. A solution whose concentration has been accurately determined.
Titrant. The reagent (a standard solution) which is added from a buret to react with the analyte.

Double indicator acid-base titration:

In the acid-base titration the equivalence point is known with the help of indicator which changes its color at the end point. In the titration of polyacidic base or polybasic acid there are more than one end point. One indicator is not able to give color change at every end point. So to find out each end point we have to use more than one indicator. For example in the titration of Na₂CO₃ against HCl there are two end points.

Na₂CO₃ + HCl → NaHCO₃ + NaCl

NaHCO₃ + HCl → H₂CO₃ + NaCl

When we use phenolphthalein in the above titration it changes its color at first end point when NaHCO₃ is formed and with it we cannot know second end point. Similarly with methyl orange it changes its color at second end point only and we cannot know first end point. It is because all indicator changes color on the basis of pH of medium. So in titration of against acid phenolphthalein cannot be used.

A sample contains NaOH, Na₂CO₃& NaHCO₃. This solution is titrated with HCl or H₂SO₄

(i) When phenolphthalein (HPh) is used as indicator the reaction are given below.

Na₂CO₃ + HCl → NaHCO₃ + NaCl

This is the half neutralization of Na₂CO₃NaHCO₃ + HCl → X

NaOH + HCl → NaCl + H₂O

Hence

Meq. Of HCl = Meq. Of NaOH + (1/2) Meq. Of Na₂CO₃

(ii) When methyl orange (MeOH) is used as indicator

Na₂CO₃ + 2HCl → 2NaCl + H₂O + CO₂This is the complete neutralization

NaHCO₃ + HCl → NaCl + H₂O + CO₂NaOH + HCl → NaCl + H₂O

in this case

Meq. Of HCl = Meq. Of NaOH + Meq. Of Na₂CO₃ + Meq. Of NaHCO₃

(iii) If MeOH is added after the first end point obtained from HPh

NaHCO₃ + NaHCO₃ + HCl → NaCl + H₂O + CO₂Produced original

Note:
When we carry out dilution of solution, Meq eq. Milli mole or mole of substance does not change because they represent amount of substance, however molar concentration may change.
Ex.1 A solution contains a mixture of Na₂CO₃ and NaOH. Using phenolphthalein as indicator 25 ml. of mixture required 19.5 ml of 0.995 N HCl for the end point. With methyl orange. 25 ml of solution required 25 ml. of the same. HCl for the end point. Calculate grams per liter of each substance in the mixture.

Let a & b are the Meq. Of Na₂CO₃ and NaOH respectively

When phenolphthalein in is used as indicator

(1/2) Meq. Of Na₂CO₃ + Meq. of NaOH = Meq. of HCl

(a/2) + b = 19.5 × 0.995

(a/2) + b = 19.4 …(1)

When MeOH is used as indicator

Meq. Of Na₂CO₃ + Meq. Of NaOH = Meq. Of HCl

a + b = 25 × 0.995

a + b = 24.875 …(2)

From (1) & (2)

(a/2) = 5.475 Þ a = 10.95

B = 24.875 – 10.95 = 13.925

Wt of Na₂CO₃/lit = (10.95/25) × 10^-3 × (106/3) × 1000 = 23.2 gm/lit

Wt of NaOH/lit = b × 10^-3 × 84/25 × 1000 = 22.28 gm/lit Ans.

Ex.2 2.5 g of a mixture containing CaCO₃, Ca(HCO₃)₂ and NaCl was dissolved in 100 mL water and its 10 mL portion required 10 mL 0.05 M H₂SO₄ solution to reach the phenolphthalein end point. An another 10 mL portion of the same stock solution required 32.35 mL of the same acid solution to reach the methyl orange end point. Determine mass percentage of CaCO₃ and Ca (HCO₃)₃in the original mixture.
Sol.

Let a and b are the Meq. of CaCO₃ and Ca(HCO₃)₂ respectively.

When HPh is used in indicater then only CaCO₃ will react with H₂SO₄Meq. of H₂SO₄ = (1/2) Meq. of CaCO₃Meq. of H₂SO₄ = ((10 × 0.05 × 100 × 2)/10) = 10

Meq. of CaCO₃ = 20

When MeOH is used as indicator

Then Meq. or CaCO₃ + Meq. of Ca(HCO₃)₂ = Meq. of H₂SO₄a + b = ((32.35 × 0.05 × 2)/10) × 100

a + b = 32.35

b = 12.5

wt. of CaCO₃ = a × 10^-3 × 100/2

= 1 gm

wt. of Ca(HCO₃)₂ = b × 10^-3 × 162/2 = 1 gm

% of CaCO₃ = (1/2.5) × 100 = 40%

% of Ca(HCO₃)₂ = (1/2.5) × 100 = 40%

Ex.3. 6.4 g of a pure monobasic organic acid is burnt completely in excess of oxygen and CO₂ evolved is absorbed completely in one liter of an aqueous solution of NaOH. A 10 mL portion of this solution required 14.5 mL of a normal HCl solution to reach the phenolphthalein end point. Another 10 mL portion of the same solution required 18 mL of the same HCl solution to reach the methyl orange end point. If the organic acid contains 25% oxygen by weight, deduce the empirical formula of this acid and strength of original NaOH solution

The weight % of available Cl₂ from the given sample of bleaching powder on reaction with dil acids or CO₂ is called available chlorine.

Where x=Molarity of hypo solution

V =mL of hypo solution used in titration.
Ex.1. 10 gm sample of bleaching powder was dissolved into water to make the solution on liter. To this solution 35 mL of 1.0 M Mohr salt solution was added containing enough H₂SO₄. After the reaction was complete, the excess Mohr salt required 30 mL of 0.1 M KMnO₄ for oxidation. The % of available Cl₂ approximately is (mol wt=71)
Sol.2. Meq. Of Mohr’s salt =35×1×1=35

Meq. Of KMnO₄=Meq. Of excess Mohr salt=30×0.1×5=15

Meq. Of Mohr salt reacted with bleaching powder =35-15=20

Meq. Of Cl2=20

Wt. of Cl₂ = 20 × 10^-3 × (71/2) = 0.71 gm

Back titration
Back titration is used in volumetric analysis to find out excess of reagent added by titrating it with suitable reagent. It is also used to find out percentage purity of sample. For example in acid-base titration supposes we have added excess base in acid mixture. To find excess base we can titrate the solution with another acid of known strength.
Ex.2 20 g. of a sample of Ba(OH)₂ is dissolved in 50 ml. of 0.1 N HCl solution. The excess of HCl was titrated with 0.1 N NaOH. The volume of NaOH used was 20 cc. Calculate the percentage of Ba(OH)₂ in the sample.
Sol. Milli eq. of HCl initially =50×0.1=5
Milli eq. of NaOH consumed = Milli eq. of HCl in excess =20×0.1=2
∴ Milli eq. of HCl consumed = Milli eq. of Ba (OH)₂=5-2=3
∴ eq. of Ba(OH)₂ = 3 / 1000 = 3 × 10^-3
Mass of Ba (OH)₂ = 3 × 10^-3 × (171/2) = 0.2565 g
% Ba (OH)₂=(0.2565/20)×100=1.28% Ans.
Ex.3 4.0 g of monobasic, saturated carboxylic acid is dissolved in 100 mL water and its 10 mL portion required 8.0 mL 0.27 M NaOH to reach the equivalence point. In an another experiment, 5.0 g of the same acid is burnt completely and CO₂ produced is absorbed completely in 500 mL of a 2.0 N NaOH solution. A 10 mL portion of the resulting solution is treated with excess of BaCl₂ to precipitate all carbonate and finally titrated with 0.5 N H₂SO₄ solution. Determine the volume of the acid solution that would be required to make this solution neutral.
Sol. Meq. Of NaOH=8×0.27=Meq. Of acid for 10 ml of acid solution
Meq. Of acid for 100 ml of solution
= (8 × 0.27 × 1000)/10 = (4/M) × 10³
M (acid) = 4/(8 × 0.27 × 10) × 1000 = 185.2
Formula of acid. = C_nH_2nO₂
Þ M = 14n + 32 = 185.2
Þ n = 11
Now 5g acid will produce (5/185.2) × 11 = (55/185.2) mol CO₂ after complete combustion.
2NaOH + CO₂ → Na₂CO₃ + H₂O
Total mass of NaOH available = 500 × 2 × 10^-3 = 1.0 mole
Moles of NaOH left unreacted = 1-(2 × 55/185.2) = (76/185.2) in 500 mL
Þ Molarity of NaOH after precipitation of Na₂CO₃ = 0.812
Therefore, 0.812 × 10 = 0.5 × V
Þ V = 16.24 mL Ans.
Precipitation titration:
In ionic reaction we can know strength of unknown solution of salt by titrating it against a reagent with which it can form precipitate. For example NaCl strength can be known by titrating it against AgNO₃ solution with which it forms white ppt. of AgCl.
So Meq. Of NaCl at equivalence point =Meq. Of AgNO₃ used= Meq. Of AgCl formed
Ex.4 A complex of cobalt with ammonia is analyzed for determining its formula, by titrating it against a standardized acid as follows:
Co (NH₃)_x Cl₃ (aq) + HCl → NH⁺₄(aq) + Co³⁺ (aq) + Cl^-(aq)
A 1.58 g complex required 23.63 mL 1.5 M HCl to reach the equivalence point. Determine formula. If the reaction mixture at equivalence point is titrated with excess of AgNO₃ solution, what mass of AgCl will precipitate out?
Sol. The balanced chemical reaction is:

Disproportionate Reactions:
A redox reaction in which a same element present in a particular compound in a definite oxidation state is oxidized as well as reduced simultaneously is a disproportionate reaction.

n factor of overall reaction = n₁ × n₂ / n₁ + n₂

Ex.1

MnO₄^- + 8H⁺ + 5e → Mn⁺² + 4H₂O

n factor of KMnO₄ = 5

EX.2

Find the n factor of Na₂S₂O₃ in the following reactions.

(a) Na₂S₂O₃ + I₂ → NaI + Na₂S₄O₆Sodium thio sodium tetra

Sulphate thionate

(b) Na₂S₂O₃ + I₂ → NaI + Na₂SO₄

(a) Change in oxidation number of sulphur=|+2-2.5|=0.5

Change in oxidation number per molecule =0.5×2

N factor here we mean a conversion factor by which we divide molar mass of substance to get equivalent mass and it depends on nature of substance which varies from one condition to another condition. We can divide n-factor calculation is two category.
In case of non-redox reaction.

(a) n factor of acid =Basicity of the acid

Basicity: Number of replaceable H⁺ ion.

Ex.1

n factor of HCl = 1

n factor of CH₃COOH=1

n factor of H₂SO₄=2

(b)n factor of base= acidity of the base

Acidity: Number of replaceable OH^- ion.

Ex.2

n factor of NaOH=1

n factor of Ca(OH)₂=2

n factor of Al(OH)₃=3

n factor of B(OH)₃=1 (because it is a mono basic acid)

(c) n factor Salt: Total number of positive or negative charge.

Ex.3

(a) From oxidation number

n factor of oxidizing or reducing agent=change in oxidation number per molecule.

⇒ consider a salt A_xB_y in which the O.S. of A is +c. It changes to a compound A_dE in which the O.S. of A is +f. Here we are assuming that B does not undergo any change in O.S. A^+c_xB_y → A^+f_dE (Obviously A_xB_y must have reacted with some other substance to produce the product A_dE. That means other substance has the atom E in it.) The ‘n’ factor is = |xc-xf|.

Ex.5

Find the n factor of KMnO₄ in different medium.

Sol.

(i) In acidic medium

KMnO₄→Mn⁺²Change in oxidation number of Mn=+7-2=5

∴ the n factor of KMnO₄=5

(ii) Basic medium

KMnO₄→K₂MnO₄N factor of KMnO₄ = +7 – 6 = 1

(iii) Neutral medium

Note : To predict the product of reaction remember:

Free halogen on reduction gives halide ion (F₂→ F^-)
Alkali metals on oxidation give metallic ion with +1 oxidation state.
In alkaline medium KMnO₄ is reduced to K₂MnO₄ but in strong alkaline or neutral medium it reduces of Mn⁺⁴
In acid solution KMnO₄ is reduced to Mn²⁺
H₂O₂ on reduction gives water and on oxidation gives oxygen.
Dichromate ion in acid solution is reduced to Cr³⁺.

Lowest oxidation state → Basic (MnO)

Oxidation number of free elements or atoms is zero.

Oxidation number of F in compounds is – 1
Oxidation number of H in its compounds is +1, except in metal hydrides where it is-1

Average Oxidation Number : Find Oxidation Number of Fe in Fe₃O₄.

Fe₃O₄ is FeO. Fe₂O₃O.N. of Fe in FeO is + 2 ; O.N. of Fe in Fe₂O₃ is + 3.

Oxidation Number:
It is the charge (real or imaginary) which an atom appears to have when it is in combination. It may be a whole no. or fractional. An element may have different values of oxidation number depending. It depends on nature of compound in which it is present. There are some operational rules to determine oxidation number.
Oxidation:
Addition of oxygen, removal of hydrogen, addition of electro-negative element, removal of electropositive element, loss of electrons, increase in oxidation number (de – electro nation).
Reduction:
Removal of oxygen, addition of hydrogen, removal of electronegative element, addition of electro positive element, gain of electrons, decrease inoxidation number (electro nation).
Redox Reactions:
A reaction in which oxidation & reduction occur simultaneously.
Oxidising Agents:
(oxidants, oxidizers). They oxidise others, themselves are reduced & gain electrons. Eq. O2, O3, HNO3, MnO2, H2O2, halogens, KMnO4, K2Cr2O7, KIO3, CIO3, FeCl3, NaOCl hydrogen ions.

Reducing Agents:

Whenever
someone texts you or when you receive any notification on Facebook, you
hear a sound which is a bit annoying sometimes. If you are getting annoyed by
those sounds, then check the below steps to know how to disable those:

To disable chat sound-

Click on the settings icon which is at the bottom of your chat box.
Now just unmark "Chat Sounds" and you are done.

To disable notification sound-

Go to Accounts settings- Notifications- How You Get Notifications- On Facebook.
Then just unmark the box which says "Play a sound when each new notification is received".

After then click on "Save Changes" and you are all done.

2- Delete a Facebook account permanently.

Through
Facebook account settings, you can only deactivate your Facebook
account which can also be reactivated anytime you want but to delete a
Facebook account permanently, you will have to do it by visiting the
help center. Don't worry, the process is very short and easy.

Follow the below steps:

Disabling right click on websites and blogs are very popular nowadays just to ensure that no one can copy content from their website.

Using JavaScripts provided by many websites on blog or website to protect content from being copied is very popular. JavaScripts can be of different types depending on it's author, they can put whatever they want and block right click on webpages.
But JavaScripts have it's own bad effect on blogs, because most the JavaScripts provided to disable right click on webpages sends out an alert message whenever someone right clicks and it is irritating. And JavaScripts can be easily bypassed and allow the right click.
So what you want is a hassle free way to stop peoples from right clicking on your page and copy your contents.

One benefit of having right click disabled is that you can stop most visitor from copying your contents, but there can be some people knowing ways to bypass it, but hope you don't have such visitors who will copy your content.

The real trick

Almost everywhere you will see tricks to disable right click using JavaScript, but if the user disables JavaScript they can easily use right click on your website without any difficulties. JavaScript is not an ideal way to do it.
We have got a new way to disable right click without any implementation of JavaScripts that can slow down your page. I came to knew about this while I was in a net banking site, just used the chrome developer tool tools to inspect what they used to disable right click and found it.
It was a small attribute in the body tag of the document. So follow the steps to do it on Blogger, this can implemented on any website, just find your main HTML and add this attribute in the <body> tag.

Go to Blogger Dashboard

Click on Edit HTML > Proceed

This one will be very helpful for those bloggers including me who writes about codes and all on their blog which must to copied by their visitors. But what actually happens is instead of copying only the code which we share, some copy bloggers copies the whole content and re shares on their blog without even giving us any credit which must be stopped and this post will help you from getting your content copied.

This post is about disabling selection of your whole blog except blockquote so that only the codes which you share using the blockquote tag can be copied. So, make sure you use the blockquote tag on those texts or codes which you want to be copied.

Let's start the tutorial-

First of all let us disable selection on our whole blog. For doing so-

Go to Blogger- Template- Edit HTML.
Then search for body which you will find after the variable destinations on your template.
After you have found "body", simple copy and paste the below code inside the {second brackets}

-webkit-user-select: none; -moz-user-select: none; -ms-user-select: none; -o-user-select: none; user-select: none;

The above method will disable selection on your whole blog. Now let's enable selection on our blockquotes.

On again search for the below code on your template.

What we did in here is disabled selection of our whole blog first, then we have added an exception on the blockquotes. In that way, our visitors will be only able to copy what we share using the blockquote tag. And one more thing is that I personally use this method on my blog and I don't get any problem with it.

How to Bypass Windows login: Delete Windows Password

There are many people who want to delete windows password and bypass Windows login. It happens many times that we want to access friend’s Windows computer anonymously. Sometimes, we even forgot Windows login password. If you are searching for a solution to one of these problems, you are at the right place. Today, I am posting the best way to bypass windows login in this article. So, let us begin.

How to Bypass Windows Login:

This Windows trick works for all Windows versions and the procedure is same for all the versions. After configuration, the only thing you have to do is to boot using your usb drive and you can easily delete Windows password. Please note that this trick will not reset Windows password. It will erase Windows password only when you boot from USB. The next time you boot computer without USB, you will be required to enter the actual password.

Requirements:

- A computer.
- USB drive
- Download this file: Files to Bypass Windows Login.

Make sure you have the above files before moving to the procedure.
Got those files? Great! So, let us get into the steps to delete Windows password.

Steps for Deleting Windows Password:

1. First of all, you have to format your USB drive. You can do that easily by right click -> Format. Also, while formatting make sure that you have selected FAT32 as File System. This is necessary for proper working of this trick.
2. Unzip your downloaded folder and from “Grub” folder, run grubinst_gui.exe as Administrator. For this, right click on file and hit on “Run As Administrator”.
Note: Do not run this file in Sandbox. The trick will not work.

3. Click on “Disk” radio button and from dropdown box, select your USB drive.
Note: Make sure you select your USB drive and not any other drive. You can select it correctly by looking at size mentioned in the options.
4. Hit on Install and you will be shown message regarding successful installation in command prompt.
Update: If you are getting some error like: Bad partition table or so, copy this code: --skip-mbr-test into Extra textbox and hit on Install.
5. Now, copy these 3 files in your USB root:
- grldr from “grub4dos” folder
- menu.lst and
- KON.IMG

The 3 files are present in the downloaded folder. Make sure you copy these files in USB root and not in any folder.
That’s it. You are done with the basic configuration of USB drive.

Boot from USB:

Restart your system and boot using the USB drive you just configured. On next screen, hit Enter once. Windows will start normally and you will be shown Windows login page. Don’t worry! You don’t have to enter any password. Just hit on Enter and you will be able to bypass Windows password. Cheers!
Now, when you restart your computer in a normal way (without booting from USB), you will be asked to enter a valid password. So, if you want to access friend’s computer anonymously, without his knowledge, you can do it easily using this beautiful trick.
Whenever you want to remove Windows password, simply boot using this USB drive and enjoy anonymous access to any Windows computer. I hope you will now be able to bypass Windows password using the above trick.

How to auto save passwords in Firefox without confirmation

It would be a lot of fun if you are able to auto save passwords in Firefox. Consider a situation: One of your friends uses your computer for checking his Facebook. He enters his login email and password on Facebook login page. After hitting on Enter, Firefox does not show him any password saving confirmation prompt. Instead, his email and password is automatically saved by Firefox! Interesting, isn’t it? Yeah, you guessed it right. Today, we will learn how to auto save passwords in Firefox without any confirmation prompt. So, let us give it a go!

Auto Save passwords in Firefox:

You have to edit core files of Firefox for auto saving passwords. Please note that this article is for educational purpose only. I am not responsible for any act done by you.
Let us get into the procedure of saving passwords in Firefox.
1. Download PowerArchiver and install it on your computer. This is used to open and edit Firefox files. Make sure that Firefox is not running while following the further procedure. Exit Firefox, if running and move to next step.
2. Go to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox and look for omni.ja file.
Note: Before moving to next step, make sure you have a backup of omni.ja file. If you want to restore your original Firefox settings, you need this default omni.ja file.
3. Open this file using PowerArchiver. You will see all the files present inside omni.ja. Go to jsloader\resources\gre\components and delete nsLoginManagerPrompter.js file.

4. Go back to the root folder of omni.ja file and navigate to components folder. In that folder, open nsLoginManagerPrompter.js file using Notepad++. In Notepad++, search for _showSaveLoginNotification function. Now, you have to edit this function as shown in the screenshot below:

Replace all the function contents with this:

var pwmgr = this._pwmgr;
pwmgr.addLogin(aLogin);

Save the file and allow PowerArchiver to overwrite the file in omni.ja.
5. That’s it! Your Firefox is completely configured to auto save passwords without confirmation.
Run your Firefox and login to any online account. Firefox will save passsword without asking any for permission. To view saved passwords in Firefox, go to Tools -> Options and hit on Security tab. Then click on Saved Passwords button. In the prompt, click on Show Passwords and you will be able to see saved passwords like this:

If you are not comfortable with editing files, here is the edited omni.ja file. Download it and copy(overwrite) it in your C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox folder.

How to restore original Firefox settings:

If you want to restore your original Firefox settings, first of all, exit Firefox. Then, simply delete your current edited omni.ja files and copy the backup copy of omni.ja in C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox.

How to Extend Windows 8 Trial Period for More 90 Days ?

Messed up with all those different CD's and DVD's created to install different Operating Systems, well now you do not need to create separate CD or DVD for any OS as now you can easy HOST all your operating system on single USB stick and that too all together, so you can easily install any OS without any problems.

XBoot is a simple multiboot ISO USB creator that allows you to upload multiple OS onto single USB stick or any CD or DVD Disk. Its like creating a Hirens Boot CD that allows you to do multiple things using simple and single user interface. You even have a option to boot the ISO's from the windows itself.

Now there are few steps that you need to follow in order to get the XBoot into a working mode, well lets see the whole text tutorial below

Now you will see some window like Below, now just drag and drop the ISO files from your PC to this window.

1. Download the XBoot Windows Tool.

BSOD(Blue Screen of Death) is a very common Problem in window XP,7 and vista. that occurs in all the versions of the Windows OS such as Win XP or Win Vista or Windows 7.

BSOD or Blue-screen, known as a “Stop Error”.Blue screen causes many problems like hardware and software related issues.Mostly when BSOD error occurred in your system, you can not reach the desktop or even if you have reached the desktop, the BSOD screen can appear all of a sudden while you are doing something important on your PC as given below in image.

BSODs come into view when Windows come across a severe difficulty and hang up the operating system. You can easily solve BSOD problem by probing all the factors that has triggered it. Below are some steps to overcome this issue.

1). First of all you should try your best to reach desktop.Some blue screen error never remove till you have to install new window or you have to delete all data in your system.You can try the ‘Last Known Good Configuration’ option or by going into the Safe Mode. You can try both of these options by pressing the F8 key before the appearance of the Windows loading screen. If you do it correctly, you will see the ‘Windows Advanced Options Menu’ screen where you will see options like Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking and Last Known Good Configuration.

2). When blue screen appear, you should read the message that appears on it. Mostly, the error screen contains a ‘STOP ERROR’ code that consists of numbers and alphabets. The code varies depending on the problems that have caused the respective BSOD error.Note this code error.

3).If your system is showing the BSOD screen after new installation of hardware or software, you can try uninstalling the hardware or software and see if that resolves the issue. After uninstalling the software that caused the problem, you can scan your system by any antivirus software.

4). Repairing registry errors by making use of registry applications can help in getting rid of BSODs that are caused by software.

5). System Restore option to go back to a date when your system was working perfectly fine.

you buy a new Pendrive it works Fast but with passage of time, data
transfer rate starts decreasing. As you all know data transfer rate
depends on types of files you are transferring like songs, docs, videos
may get transferred very quickly and also depends on locations of Files.
If you want to transfer a bunch of files to same drive but another
folder then transferred very Fast. But if you want to transfer files
from one drive to another then it will take some time same likewise in
Pendrive.

As you all know about *USB Port Version 2.0* which is most
popular and the computers which manufactured after year 2000 have 2.0
USB port Version. The main advantage of this version is give you the
Speed of *35mbps *(Theortically).

Now come to the main point *how to Speed up USB drive data transfer
and for this you will need to change the File System to NTFS of your
pendrive and also change the device policy in order to speedup your
Pendrive. You just need to follow below Steps to Speed up your USB drive
data transfer.

1.Plugin your Pendrive then Right click on pendrive and select Format
and after this you will loose all your data of pendrive so better 1st
take a backup) now select NTFS File system, Uncheck quick format and
click on start.

*Note:*Changing the File system to NTFS because FAT 32 can't handle
large amount of data

*2.After formating Pendrive and Converting it to NTFS file System, now
change the device policy and for this again goto Pendrive Properties and
click on hardware Tab then select your USB device from the list and
click on Properties.

After clicking on properties you will see a new Dialog Box, so now click
on change settings, then another Dialog Box will appear, now click on
Policy Tab and select better performance, Click ok .
That's it.

*Note:* I will recommend to restart your system. Now you will notice
*Data Transfer Speed

Will Increase but 1st make sure you click on ”Safely Remove Hardware and
Eject Media” before removing your Pendrive.

Today in this post I am going to share a very effective way to hack facebook account I named it Hacking with Trusted Friends.

Hacking of Facebook Account with Trusted Friends is also not so simple. To get started with it, you have to create three fake Facebook accounts and make sure they are in friend list of the person whose facebook account you are going to hack. If you can make this happen then roll up your sleeves to begin the real action.

Warning: The Sole purpose of this article is to highlight the loophole in security. I am not responsible if you use it with malicious intentions and get caught..!!

It is only for educational purposes. Don’t use it with wrong intension.

First of all, create three new Facebook Accounts and add all these three accounts in your friend’s friend list. If you are done with the first step then you have done 90% of your work.
Click on Forgot your Password button. It will show three options to recover your password.
In the first option give his Email Address and in the Name field give your Friend’s Full Name, your name and click on Search button.
Now if everything goes well you will see the profile picture of that person. Here click on the No longer have access to these.
Now Enter your New Email address which doesn’t associated with any facebook account yet and click on Submit button.
Now you will be prompted to Security question. If you know the answer then it is well and good otherwise, give wrong answers for three times.
Now after three unsuccessful attempts, it will ask you to recover your account with trusted friend feature. Click on Continue button.
It will ask you to choose three friends. Select your created accounts from the list and click on Continue button each time.
After selecting three friends, Facebook will send security codes to the Email address associated with those fake accounts. Login to each account and fill the security codes in the same manner. Also check spam messages if it is not there.
Now you will get password Reset Email on Email Address that you have entered in 5th step (New Email address which doesn’t associated with any facebook account).
That’s it..! You have hacked your friends Facebook Account. Enjoy..!!
