New Cubist Works by Artist James Cattlett the master of Neo Cubism is lighting the art world on fire!

Amazing New Cubist Works by Artist James Cattlett is taking the art world by storm.

I did this series of paintings as a tribute to my one of my favorite artist: Pablo Picasso. James Cattlett

New York Gallery Magazine:
Pure visceral art without compromises or excuses. A full frontal assault to the senses. We have never seen such a talented tour de force artist as Mr Cattlett. If there be a light in the art world he is it. I have seen many lame attempts at creating cubism in my day, but i have never seen a artist capture the true essence of the master Picasso like Cattlett. A true gem in the art world. Is he the next big thing? I would bet my money on it! You better grab as much of his stuff as you can! If Picasso was alive, he would without a hesitation pass the symbolic torch to Cattlett.

Cubism is a style of art that is geometric and analytical. It was developed in the early 20th century by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque. Cubism often involved the use of multiple perspectives, viewpoints, and angles to represent the subject. This style was largely a reaction to the styles of Impressionism and Fauvism. Cubism was revolutionary in that it was the first style of art to truly explore the essence of form and space. It often features contrasting colors and the juxtaposition of materials such as wood, canvas, and metal.

The Art of James Cattlett Presents: Dreamscapes.

Dreamscapes by James Cattlett takes on a imaginative and concept art like feel.

This is a series of work that is influenced things like: Surrealism, Fantasy Art, Sci Fi Art and concept art. Most of these images are based on dreams that i have had. Some of the images are actually based on personal experiences in the real world.

These images would work great as concept art for video games and movies.

They would also work great as posters, CD covers and book cover art.

Here is the youtube video of this series set to music.

Artists will have a chance to showcase their talents with new project.

James Cattlett remembers how excited he was when he designed "Sole Fish" for Fremont's first community arts project.

Now he and his wife, Stephanie, are looking forward to the next project: Benchmark for the Arts.

"Seeing it's going to happen again, it's just awesome," Cattlett said Tuesday during the project's announcement.

Benchmark for the Arts is a 12-month project aimed at placing custom-decorated benches throughout Fremont next summer. Proceeds raised through sponsorships and auction of the finished benches will benefit the Fremont Area Art Association and the Fremont Parks and Recreation Department.

"We're going to keep this in front of the community for 12 months," said project manager Chris Bristol.

"We have a very vibrant arts community," he added. "We have a wide variety of really outstanding arts groups that need a vehicle (to showcase their talents). People need to understand we have all of these things here.".....
