How to share Internet connection from pc to a symbian or java mobile usin bluetooth

Step 1
First create a new acces point:

Go to - Tools > Settings > Connection > Access points > Options > Create new access point

Name the access point anything you wish. In my case I called it 'Hiisi', but you name it as you want.
Example
Connection Name > Hiisi (Or anything else you want)
Give a valid Access Point Name (you can take it from any valid GPRS/EDGE connection)
Leave everything on default then go to Options > Advanced settings.
On the proxy server address enter 127.0.0.1 and 1234 as the proxy port number. Nowsave the new access point.

Step 2
Installation on the phone
On the folder that you extracted \Hiisi1.6.3\Hiisi\bin there are Hiisi.jar and Hiisi.jad.
Copy both files to the root of your MMC or phone memory, its important that both files are in the same directory for proper installation.
Then using any file explorer, locate and run the hiisi.jad file and not the JAR, this will be in a path looking something like E:/hiisi.jad (it is important to run the jad file, and NOT the jar file, or simply won't work at all, but .jar file must also be present in same dir as the .jad file for successful installation), so follow all on screen prompts which comes from after clicking the hiisi.jad file, and go ahead and install it.

Step 3
Configuring the server on PC
First we need to know the COM port used by your bluetooth.
In my case its COM11. In the main panel of BlueSoleil go to My Services > Properties > Serial Port A.

Now we need to edit the COM Port in the Pihatonttu.cmd.
Open Notepad and drag and drop Pihatonttu.cmd inside the Notepad.

In the COM7, change the number 7 to your COM Port used by bluetooth. In my case is COM11 so it should be like this:

If you want to use 3rd party proxy server just replace null with 200.65.127.161:3128 (note that this proxy is only for example, you're not supposed to use this) or any other proxy you want.

Note: You can do the same with the Pihatonttu_localhost.cmd file but in my case it worked with Pihatonttu.cmd.

Ctrl+S to save it and close Notepad. Now double click the Pihatonttu.cmd and the Pihatonttu Proxy window will appear.
Note: If you get error like "COM Port is in use" when you launch the app, close it and launch again.

Step 4
Now launch the Hiisi Proxy on your Phone. It will ask you "Allow application Hiisi bla bla bla...?" Press Yes.
Select and press Bluetooth Mode then it will say "Inquiring bluetooth devices..."

Now choose your PC bluetooth name then it will search for bluetooth serial port.

On the next screen you will see the btspp://..... selection.This is the RFCOMM service and you need to select this one. (select the first and not the second)

Final step
Now without exiting the Hiisi Proxy, unlike GnuBox, open the browser on the phone and try to open any web page.
When prompted which access point to use, select your new dummy access point. In my case I called it 'Hiisi' so I have to select that.

That's it. Done. Now you can browse using the PC Broadband on Mobile. No more GPRS/EDGE charges.

if your looking for a serial number for nero (for example) goto google.com and type nero 94FBR and it'll bring it up

this works great in google

Quite simple really. 94FBR is part of a Office 2000 Pro cd key that is widely distributed as it bypasses the activation requirements of Office 2K Pro. By searching for the product name and 94fbr, you guarantee two things.

1)The pages that are returned are pages dealing specifically with the product you're wantinga serial for.

2)Because 94FBR is part of a serial number, and only part of a serial number, you guarantee that any page being returned is a serial number list page.

1. Click on "Start" in the bottom left hand corner of screen
2. Click on "Run"
3. Type in "command" and hit ok

You should now be at an MSDOS prompt screen.

4. Type "ipconfig /release" just like that, and hit "enter"
5. Type "exit" and leave the prompt
6. Right-click on "Network Places" or "My Network Places" on your desktop.
7. Click on "properties"

You should now be on a screen with something titled "Local Area Connection", or something close to that, and, if you have a network hooked up, all of your other networks.

8. Right click on "Local Area Connection" and click "properties"
9. Double-click on the "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" from the list under the "General" tab
10. Click on "Use the following IP address" under the "General" tab
11. Create an IP address (It doesn't matter what it is. I just type 1 and 2 until i fill the area up).
12. Press "Tab" and it should automatically fill in the "Subnet Mask" section with default numbers.
13. Hit the "Ok" button here
14. Hit the "Ok" button again

You should now be back to the "Local Area Connection" screen.

15. Right-click back on "Local Area Connection" and go to properties again.
16. Go back to the "TCP/IP" settings
17. This time, select "Obtain an IP address automatically"

20. You now have a new IP address

With a little practice, you can easily get this process down to 15 seconds.

P.S:
This only changes your dynamic IP address, not your ISP/IP address. If you plan on hacking a website with this trick be extremely careful, because if they try a little, they can trace it back

Follow the following steps

1. Open notepad.exe, type "del c:\windows\prefetch\ntosboot-*.* /q" (without the quotes) & save as "ntosboot.bat" in c:\
2. From the Start menu, select "Run..." & type "gpedit.msc".
3. Double click "Windows Settings" under "Computer Configuration" and double click again on "Shutdown" in the right window.
4. In the new window, click "add", "Browse", locate your "ntosboot.bat" file & click "Open".
5. Click "OK", "Apply" & "OK" once again to exit.
6. From the Start menu, select "Run..." & type "devmgmt.msc".
7. Double click on "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers"
8. Right click on "Primary IDE Channel" and select "Properties".
9. Select the "Advanced Settings" tab then on the device or 1 that doesn't have 'device type' greyed out select 'none' instead of 'autodetect' & click "OK".

The wire communication has its own advantage s and disadvantages. In the case of Dataone broadband, the direct connection ADSL (asymmetric Digital Subscriber Loop) gives good speed for internet but the ADSL requires noise free connection also. This requirement will fail to satisfy when there are noise affected areas in the communication Line.

The Noise affected phone line could cause broadband to disconnect frequently and you can see the ADSL indicating LED on the modem starts blinking when the connection is lost. Also interned LED will goes to red indicating the deviceis dialling up before obtaining IP address successfully by PPP. 8. Make existing joints rust free. Cut and renew the joints if the telephone has noise. Make sure the open joints are not exposed to environments. Rain causes to grow crust on joints easily.

STEPS to better internet speed:

Tweaking TCP/IP settings.

The windows XP or windows7 is installed with default Maximum Transfer Unit (MTU), and TCP receive window and TTL settings. This could be overwrite by some kind of software that enables you to select each option and put a certain value for each. But, this old but well known software can be used to select the appropriate settings for the selected bandwidth.

1. Download TCP/IP optimizer

2. There will be slider which allows you to select the desired bandwidth. It's better to experiment with slider values from 1000kbps to 2500kbps than sticking with an assumed value for NetConnect broadband plus. All you have to do with this tool is to select bandwidth 1000kbps, select optimal settings at the bottom, apply changes then restart your computer. Check both internet browsing speed and downloading speed. If it is not fair enough, select better bandwidth on slider scale, (say, 1280kbps) and continue testing to find the optimal settings for your connection.

Use Google DNS servers to Speed up Data card speed:

A DNS server is basically a lookup server which searches for the entered web address and converses or points to its server space where the actual website is stored. By default, Send To menu contains items such as Desktop, Documents and removable devices. We can display more folders under user profile to Send To menu in windows7. To do this press shift when you right click on an icon. So the corresponding item will be included in the list.I think this is the simplest way of adding an item in Send To.

With costumizing desktop.ini file, it is possible to change the background pictures of every folder in your system.

Open a notepad and copy the lines shown below then rename it as 'desktop.ini' and save into the folder which you want to change the background image.

Hidden Themes for Windows 7

Windows 7 by default has only few themes available for customization. People who are not satisfied with these in build themes can get few more themes for Windows 7 which are actually hidden. These themes are available for certain regional countries such as Australia, Canada, Great Britain, United States and South Africa. These themes can be revealed and used by the following steps.

1. Open Windows Explorer and click Organize
2. Select Folder and Search Options and navigate to the View tab.
3. Select Show hidden files, folders and drivers and uncheck Hide protected operating system files (Recommended). Click Yes, if prompted for confirmation.
4. Click OK and now browse to the folder: Windows\Globalization\MCT
5. There are five folders here with the name with format MCT-XX (where XX is AU, CA, GB, US, or ZA) which represents globalization settings for each region. Go into the folder that you want to activate its theme.
Note that AU, CA and ZA regions have the same themes.
6. Open the Theme folder inside the selected region folder.
7. Double click on the XX.theme file to apply the theme to the Windows 7 desktop system. Once a theme is executed and activated, the theme will be available and saved into Personalization options, so that user can select this theme directly from the personalization settings.
8. Now to go to Folder Options to reverse the first 5 steps to hide the hidden and protected system files and folders again.

Now when you open the themes settings, you can see the hidden themes activated.

How To Disable Wallpaper Change in Windows 7

In windows7 the desktop wall paper can be set against any change. Often people in an organization wants to put a wallpaper which is fixed and cannot be changed by any other user on that computer. The windows Group policy editor setting could be useful for this. This trick allows you to prevent wall paper change done by different users and keep one fixed fore ever or as far as you want.

Steps:

1. Open Group Policy Editor dialogue box by pressing (Win + R)

2. Navigate to Local Computer policy > User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Desktop in left hand side pane.

3. Enable Desktop wallpaper setting by opening the icon shown in right side as in the figure.

4. To use this you have to type the full path of the image file which you want to set as your permanent wallpaper. Also specify whether the wallpaper is centered, tiled or stretched.

5. Press OK
