Your skin care products will not benefit you if applied in the wrong order. 1.Serums (OIL AND WAX FREE )are always applied as a first step onto clean, dry and lightly exfoliated skin. If your serum contains oils, waxes or other fillers it will not work regardless of when you apply it as those ingredients offer no benefit and will actually compromise any active it may contain, 2.Creams both oil free and essential oil based (if used) should be applied at step 2 after the serum is fully absorbed. ( A quality serum should not take longer than approximately 30-60 seconds) 3.Sunscreen it a barrier designed to protect from harmful cancer causing rays. If its blocking UV its blocking any products applied post sunscreen. Excellent quality skin care is formulated to absorbed into the matrix and NOT sit on the surface of dead cells on our bodies. Safe sunscreens will not jeopardize quality serum and creams, in fact all three items will be optimized for superior results when applied in step. Once more we cannot stress enough about knowing your ingredients and quality. Fun fact: Just because a skin care product is expensive does not mean it will work.

HELP EWG TO KEEP CONSUMERS SAFE

For several years other companies have been improving their products their products to make them safer for all of us yet L'Oreal and Revlon have chosen to continue putting customers at risk. They spend MILLIONS on ads that tell us just how great their product and to help fund their greed they continue to use toxic ingredients rather than spend a fraction of their worth to keep consumers safe. I say shame on you for including dangerous hormone disruptors and formaldehyde releasers in your products. They further insult their customers by their total disregard to take action in the removal of these chemicals. This proves to us that they care about their bottom line and NOT about consumer health. Shame on you Revlon and L'Oreal! I think a great question for their executives who are profiting from these poisons is "Would you allow your own families to knowingly use these harmful ingredients that are proven to soak into their bodies?"

The summer is in full swing and we are a society that now understands the need to protect ourselves from the damaging rays of the sun. I am amazed at the variety of choices we now have and I decided to do a little bit of research to see which sunscreen would be best for me. Much to my horror I learned that the MAJORITY of these products contain ingredients that are so incredibly toxic and damaging I cannot fathom why they are FDA approved.

In other words those not found in breast milk are safer as they do not travel by way of our metabolism..

The end all be all for younger skin. Â There is nothing new or flashy about Hyaluronic Acid but tried and true it is something to be taken very seriously when choosing a topical skin care product. Â Do not let the word acid trick you into thinking it is drying as it is the only ingredient that will ever truly hydrate your skin from the outside in. Â This is what young skin has to keep it plump and firm. This is what we lose rapidly shortly after turning 35. Â That is the bad news. Anti Aging Tips & How Not to Get Tricked

We age. We also fall for false advertising, tricky promises and typically will trip more than once into the same trap. Why? We want to look better. Why? It makes us feel better and our entire disposition is uplifted. It is not a reinvention of the wheel it is Psychology. This same psychology is used to train our brain to think that high end advertisements must mean that a product works better. X. Stop and think...remember that you are actually smarter than that. We all are victims to this type of marketing especially when it tickles our ego because we just want that product to work so desperately we are willing to beg, borrow or steal to get our hands on it. Once we have it and realize that it did not work we tend to blame ourselves thinking that perhaps "my skin is just too damaged" for it to work.
