3/4 cup sugar

1 tsp. baking powder

1 1/2 tsp. baking soda

1/2 tsp. salt

2 eggs

1 cup of yogurt (your choice of flavor) (For dairy free use coconut yogurt or soy yogurt)

Portuguese Sweet Bread (Gluten Free)
Ingredient
1 ¼ cups milk (dairy, rice, nut, soy)¼ cup butter or dairy free margarine1 Tbsp. yeast
3 ½ cups Mama’s Almond or Coconut Blend Flour1 ½ tsp. xanthan gum1 tsp. salt¾ cup sugar
3 eggs1 tsp. cider vinegar
1 egg for basting 
Directions
Warm milk and butter until melted.  Remove from heat.  Allow to cool until about 115°.   Sprinkle yeast over top of

1 1/2 cups Mama's Pancake Mix
1/2 cup ground flax seed
3 Tbsp. whole flax seed
2 eggs *

Is it a coffee cake or a bread?  Some will call it a coffee cake, but I have to call it a bread.  It uses a yeast bread base, so therefore it is a bread, in my opinion.  However, many will who try it will call it a coffee cake.  Either way, it is delicious!

Gluten Free Challah Bread


This fall, I was walking through Seattle's Famous Pike Place Market.  As I was passing many bakeries and smelling the sweet aroma of baked goods that I could not eat, I passed by a bakery with the most beautiful breads in the window.  One of them was Challah bread.  My mouth watered as I looked at it and I made it a goal to make this bread gluten free.  With Easter

Three years ago, I showed up at a booksigning in Olympia Washington for my first cookbook.  Unbeknownst to me, the store told the customers ahead of time that I was going to do a lecture.  So here I am with all my "booksigning" stuff set up including samples and what not, and customers start walking through the doors with their notebooks.  They asked
