Did you know that Ewan loves motorcycles?

Since his youth, McGregor has been a keen motorcyclist, and undertook a marathon international motorcycle journey with his best friend in 2004. They travelled from London to New York via central Europe, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and Canada on BMW R1150GS Adventure motorcycles. A cumulative distance of 22,345 miles. The trip inspired a television series and a best-selling book, both called Long Way Round.

A couple weeks ago, I joined Klout as LaDy LaDuke, and discovered that We have Klout on Ewan McGregor...interesting. Where did they get that? Ewan is not a Mom or Mum, and he can't possibly be a breast feeder. It could be from our Battles of The Leading Men we run every weekend on our Mommy LaDy Club blog. I put Ewan up against Richard Armitage, and unfortunately, Ewan lost.

Sorry Ewan, but now we are slated together, because of Klout. We've decided to embrace this whole thing, and designate our Wednesdays on our Facebook page as, "We Got Klout on Ewan McGregor Wednesdays"!

Introducing LaDy LaDuke's Nouveau Nursing Cover!...For on the go Moms and Mums, who still need full coverage, and like to breastfeed their babies in public on the outside of the cover.

Wear it to your Holiday party!

Just like our Feeder Frock nursing cover, you can be mobile while breastfeeding and stay covered. The back panel wraps to your front, and measures approximately 47" wide by 28" long (on the back side), with hook and eye or snap enclosures on the front, for size adjustments from small to large.

Just put it over your head...the back panel wraps to your front, and hooks and snaps. The front panel snaps back under your arms. You are completely covered, and ready to nurse and move. It is also great for pumping your breast milk with easy, hidden slit access!

The front panel here, wraps under your arm to a snap enclosure on each side. It measures approximately 30" wide by 12" long, fitting approximately size A cup to D bra sizes. The snaps are placed at approximately 22", 25" and 28" widths for small to large adjustments at the top of your chest to under your arms.

We will be offering Custom Plus Sizes as well!

One end of the front sash holds a pacifier/binky/dummy with hidden velcro enclosure, the other sash end has hidden wipe cloth fabric on the inside. Just turn it inside out, and wipe up messes.

The sash comes from the back of your neck, attached to the back panel of fabric, and holds your front ruffle panel with the slit access underneath.

Below...the end of the front sash flipped inside out to show the hidden, built-in wipe cloth. Flip it back, and you have a cute sash accent on your top.

This type of nursing cover also works well for your baby who likes to tug and pull your cover off. This can help you nurse longer with your older baby.

Our Nouveau Nursing Cover can be worn over your shirt, blouse, turtleneck, etc. or on its own, and put a cardigan, blazer or jacket over it. Wear it to work, and pump discreetly and easily.

The front long ruffle lifts up to expose an underneath panel of fabric with slits for your breasts. You can shape the long ruffle out of the way and around the side of your breast easily.

The underneath panel has 2 large slits for easy access, as well as a ruffled edge to hang down and cover over your middle. Both the top ruffle and underneath panel can lift up completely for exposure. This is great for those of you going for your mammograms! You can also lift up your shirt from the bottom to breastfeed.

The small to large size adjustments let you change the fit as your body changes after pregnancy and through breastfeeding.

I love getting custom requests...they are challenging and fun, and always lead to new ideas! Custom requests are truly one of the exceptional differences, when you're shopping handmade.

Recently, I've received 2 very interesting requests. When I first read custom requests, I always think, oh boy, can I pull that off? Is it possible? Then I stare at my Feeder Frocks hanging on my rack in my work studio/office, and try to imagine a way to make it work.

I get to something I think will work, and then off to sewing and testing. This always starts as one thing, and ends up as something completely different. It's also the best part! Something always evolves!

Here's to custom requests, and what they bring!...

Coming full circle...After more than a year of watching Future Mama journey towards motherhood, she is now a Mom and Baby Making Mama! She featured us on her fantastic blog when we first started out, and now we a sending her a surprise Feeder Frock nursing cover to help her nurse and pump, all while venturing back to work.
