Our not so scary Halloween wedding install at the fabulous Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort & Spa resort earlier today. The 411 our bride Nicole, loves black and white and I mean a whole lot. Here we incorporated black and white everywhere possible to achieve her vision and I'd say the out come was quite successful!!! Professional images to follow :)

Hello to all our followers out there, we're baaaack! We have been gone so long for a very good reason...the business has grown at a rapid pace in the past eight months. Shortly after our last post back in October '13, we entered into a few new partnerships that have been rather successful for all involved. Over the next several weeks we will do our best to share some of the more exceptional events that we were a part of due to these new relationships as well as keeping you up with new events as they happen. We look forward to sharing with you and reading your comments.

We thought we'd start with a wedding that gave us a chance to do something that has only happened a handful of times. Sun Life Stadium has been home to the area's #1 sports franchise, the Miami Dolphins, since 1987. Now you may know it by Joe Robbie Stadium or Dolphin Stadium but any way you know it (Pro Player or Land Shark if you are really a fan), you probably know that it has been the site for many landmark events over the years. Not just football either.

Talk about your blending colors!

Some of the world's greatest entertainment has graced the field with record numbers attending these historic performances. Pink Floyd's last tour stopped here. So have Paul McCartney, U2 with Bono, Madonna, Timbaland, Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake & Jay Z, The Black Eyed Peas, The Who and many more.

Where Champions enter the grounds.

That's not all either as it was built as a sports venue first. Championship football, both NFL and NCAA, has been hosted here numerous times. We even got to be a part of that back in 2010 when we were chosen to be a part of setting up the VIP Section for SuperBowl XLIV Tailgate Party. The Stadium has seen the then Florida Marlins win two MLB World Series titles and has become a fixture in the World Baseball Classic. Soccer, WWE Wrestling and Australian Rules Football have also taken a piece of the field home with them.

Time to start the festivities!

None of these can compare to the importance of the exchanging of vows made by Adriana and David though. Sun Life started hosting weddings in 2013 and was a natural fit for these two season ticket holders and lifetime South Florida sports fans. As huge Miami Heat fans, they had no issues watching the Conference Championship clincher on all of the monitors in Club Liv where the reception was held.

Knot tied!

Thanks to our industry friends Bonnie and Dominic at Cafe Ala Carte for referring this awesome couple to us. Beaches, Country Clubs and World Class Resorts are where you normally see Beautiful Kreations' work. So this was a wonderful change of pace to have done our first wedding at any Stadium. With an amazing backdrop to work with, we really brought our "A" game making the ceremony decor hold it's own. It commanded great attention on the warning track for our bride who was making her walk all the way from the home teams' tunnel. Talk about a ~~home run~~ I mean an "aisle runner!" :) Adriana chose turquoise and coral orange as her event colors and that's all the game plan we needed to go full speed making this ceremony decor a major game changer. The endless comments were priceless! We incorporated orange asiatic lilies, fuji orchids, rococo orange roses, turtle yellow garden roses paired with Israeli and Italian ruscus. The ceremony decor was the perfect kick off to the event.

This piece moved upstairs from the arch to keep the newlyweds company.

Lampshade Centerpieces

Hold on more posts are coming. Digging this beautiful Lampshade centerpiece from yesterday's wedding!! The venue: The Spanish River Library in Boca Raton. We paired silver manzanita branches with white dendrobium orchids along with royal blue french braid vases for a part classic, contemporary bold look. Loving the finish treatment on the bouquet handle as well, incorporating the french braid look. Enjoy!!!!!!!!

Ribbons in China!!!!

What a great find! Here's a nifty way to house those bridal satin ribbons. Initially, the thought was to build a ribbon rack, and believe me, we were ready for the challenge; scoring this antique china cabinet however, derailed that idea. How could one pass on this deal for $50.00? The creative genius in me immediately went to work organizing this masterpiece. Few of my favourtie ribbons, aside from the ivories, pinks and whites are, the black and white gingham, the blue + purple paisley and the black and white stripe. Here's one of our signature boutonniere finish, a white mini calla paired with the black and white gingham ribbon :)

Happy Labor Day 2013!!!! I can't think of a better way to welcome the month of September than with this bold image of purple / blue hues coupled with the striking anemone. Although here in Florida we are far from getting a chill in the air or the vision of leaves changing; we here at Beautiful Kreations are definitely excited about this season's upcoming nuptials with bold color palettes.

Groom at the Bridal Shower!!!!!!!

It's always nice when the groom take part in the bridal shower, but wait, I don't mean him actually being there, well sort of! For one of my upcoming weddings, Amanda's fiance stopped by the office to get her a bouquet of flowers for her bridal shower. This "traditional bouquet" shows up at the end of the bridal shower in an exchange ceremony. Since her actual wedding colors will be white, orange and peach, we decided to use some of the colors but not the same flowers. I love it when traditions are incorporated into each layer of the wedding process. Congrats you two, can't wait for your special day :) Love M

With one week off to rest, we'll be catching up on a lot of stuff. Stuff like new ideas for our upcoming bridal shows, new trends for our sassy brides, coupled with fall + spring wedding colors to watch for. So far based on booked events, a lot of our brides are using purples, browns, tons of blush pinks, and few black and whites. Every time I hear black and white, I immediately fall in love all over again with our white mini calla and anemone bridal bouquet. We did this wedding almost 4 years ago, and to date it's still one of our more requested bouquets when doing black and white.

I'm blessed and excited what the new season holds for us. Stay tuned as we roll out new marketing brochures for the season..........

How do you Feather???

Feathers may not be your thing but it was for this bride. The end result was nothing short of amazing :) It can be tricky combing feathers and flowers, much styling need to be done to ensure a spectacular design and not something scary looking. In some cases it's either all feathers or all flowers. Here we combined white ostrich feathers paired with white mini callas, purple cool water roses, hydrangeas, with purple dendrobium orchids.

Ultimate success achieved here, nothing scary, just pure flirtatious beauty for an equally flirty couple and their chosen venue :)

Skydeck

So back in March, yes March 2013, we did the first wedding to ever take place at this iconic location.

The former Sony Recording Studios on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach hosted the swaggest pretty in pink wedding at the now renamed Skydeck. Once in this space, the sky's the limit, as you take in a whole 360 degrees of Miami's skyline. Truly a breathtaking venue, with a fabulous Parisian booking manger Stephanie :
)

Samantha's Wedding - Weston Hills CC

Purple - gray with a hint of sage, white and pink were Samantha's color palette for her wedding. White submerged dendrobium orchid centerpieces -all 98 of them- in three different vase sizes were placed on these beautiful glass blocks filled with pink stones + pink LEDs. Hundreds of rose petals lined each table gracefully at the Weston Hills Golf and Country Club in Weston. We couldn't receive more compliments on the overall decor. The room looked and smelled amazing and had a zen feel with luxurious rose petals that welcomed her 120 guests......Congrats Samantha + Spencer you looked amazing! The Sky's the Limit!!!!!

The sky is truly the limit! Or is it? It started with a picture. When I met Karen, she had one picture and some ideas and that was all I needed to go on. On their wedding day, the April 7th 2012 itinerary, destination The Pelican Grand Fort Lauderdale was perfectly planned for this pilot's wife! A merger of two creative minds at work could have only predicted this eye candy outcome. Karen, the graphic designer, took charge of all stationery items and our lead designer and planner Marcia served up a recipe of pastel blooms to include freesia, peach and pink ranunculus, peach campanella garden roses, cheers and dynasty tulips and tea-roses that tastefully welcomed all their wedding guests, and caught the attention of some on-lookers as well. Custom apple green silk bengaline table runners and napkins, pristine white chavari chairs with white seat cushions, square chargers, chartreuse paper lanterns in assorted sizes all added ambiance to the decor. Karen + Matt, it was an honor to plan and celebrate your wedding day with you, let me tell you, "you were fun to party with" and your impromptu after party was hilarious pizza and Billy Joel will never be the same :) You guys, you guys just totally rock. Every once in a while we all need a 7,500 feet above sea level moment and you guys created euphoria at ground level captured by Alison Frank. Wishing you all the best Karen & Matt Love M

Vintage Weddings.....Rock on 50s Rock on.......

You know when you meet a bride and right off the bat there is this connection, of person and design style? Well that's what happened when I met Lisa. Instantly! Lisa + Will are very much a young couple with a 50's spirit thru and thru. I mean let's start with their venue Old School Square such a historical and dated site, so fitting for this couple's personality and their I-Do's. By the way, this venue, used to be a school.

For event colors they chose peaches, pinks, blacks + whites, and a whole lot of gypsophila. Can't say that I've ever worked with so much gypsophila before, I mean it was all over the studio, so much so that I became suddenly in love with this not so often requested filler flower whose botanical meaning is "lover of chalk" . Wow!! I wonder if she knew that, Lisa is a school teacher...It all fits together perfectly!

There were Peach David Austin's, Alabaster Garden Roses, Soft Pink Majolicas, Peachy Pink Ranunculus and some Anemones. The collection when put together was totally vintage, inspiring and amazing with their footprints all over.

Lisa + Will you are an amazing couple, thank you for entrusting me to design your wedding as you've envisioned! I feel incredibly lucky to be part of your special day. Wishing you many "happy days" and years as you continue to Rock the 50's!! Much Love and Appreciation - M -
