Oh, the passing of time. It goes by so quickly! I had to actually write "post on blog" in my agenda! I'm so busy with ten million things. I never really understood it before when my mom would always say that.

Tomorrow is my 16th birthday. WHAT?! I've been counting down the days since day 69. It's unbelievable. I will finally be able to drive {duh}, but also date! :) I've looked forward to this day for forever! Can't wait! Just got a bouquet of flowers in the mail! I'm truly sorry I never post. I really want to but have no time! I'll keep trying!

I've always loved the librarian pin from Fred Flare which is on sale for $5! I want to buy it and pin it on my blazers. I think it would make life a wee bit more spectacular. ;) I was thinking of what to wear if you were really to act as a librarian and this is what I came up with.

I first looked for a blazer and saw that the Floral Dictation Blazer was perfect for a library setting. Next, a little texture which would be the True Friend Top. And then the Khaki in the Day skirt keeping it simple and knee grazing.

Then, I saw the name-fitting Bookstore Belle Skirt. I could definitely see a librarian wearing the skirt. Then, the perfect cozy cardigan, A Little Bit Bunny Cardigan. And the perfect flats to help the visitors find what they're looking for, the Bow-mance Flat.

There's a perfect quirkiness to these outfits that makes me want to become a librarian.

I now totally want to go to a library. It's a dreary day today and I'd love to snuggle up with some books.

Going back to school has been a huge transition. Lots of homework, figuring out friends again and again, finally regaining my creativity with outfits {which I somehow lost in the summer}, being super tired, and scheduling everything.

My sixteenth birthday is coming up soon! AHH! I'm scared and excited. I'll not only get to drive but be able to date. I'm trying to decide whether or not to have a big bash. In years past, friends with stronger personalities than me have taken over my parties and made themselves the center of attention. What my dream was for this year to be a big band theme with everyone dressing in 40s and 50s clothes and we would all just dance outside at a park at twilight till later in the night. That sounds perfect to me, and I've been dreaming of it since I was about thirteen. So maybe, somehow I can pull it all together.

EVENTUALLY, I'll sort through my 500 pictures and videos from the Philippines and post some. That was a month ago--unbelievable! And I'll also post on my summary of my summer.

Yeah there is really no excuse anymore. But! I started school last Monday and I've been running since I got back from the Philippines on August 4th. I came back to show choir camp that I had missed, then a welcome home party for my brother, school starting, homework, just so busy all the time I can't even handle it. But things are going great! I'll supply this now measly blog with my awesome Philippines videos and pictures as soon as I can. This weekend, I'm going out to Utah to go to my brother's wedding. I realized, this summer I've been a world traveler. It was the best summer I've ever had. Hope you're doing well. :)

Simple white tee with my "mom" jeans as friends call them. And then a handmade painted rainbow clutch. Humidity does no good to my hair. You can't be outside for longer than 2 minutes without your whole body sweating profusely.

I'm off to the Philippines tomorrow morning. I'll definitely update while there. I've been told it's 20 times worse than Tennessee. No looking pretty there. ;)

So, I finally got the camera I've been wanting for forever! I'm so psyched to take tons of pictures all the time, especially for my family's trip to the Philippines next week to pick up my brother whose been there for two years on a mission trip for my church. It will be a blast. I apologize for the lack of anything this past month. I've been extremely busy with friends, family, trips, and my babysitting job. Now, that summer is sadly coming to an end pretty soon, {school starts August 8} I'll have more time and more motivation with this sweet camera.

Wore this on Sunday to be a little festive for church. I got this little outfit on a shopping spree at Goodwill on Saturday with my friend! It was a blast. I didn't get really any good pictures of this outfit except for me twirling around in it. Tonight we had a intimate friends and fam party with tons of food and then fireworks and then we went and saw Larry Crowne with Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts. Such a great, funny movie. Perfect end for the day.

I've totally not posted for a week. I've been super busy dogsitting, babysitting, responsibilities, and hanging with friends. It was a little break, but now I'm back! Sorry!

I rarely wear jewelry and it makes me mad. I barely have any to work with. But one of these days I will go and buy just jewelry, nothing else. {yeah, right}

These shoes make me feel totally 80s/90s.

Last night, I had a sleepover with some girls from my church. And I totally wish I would've have taken some pictures! I'm the oldest out of all of them {which is odd, cause I've always been the youngest until now}. So weird. Most of them are in middle school! And I'm going to be a junior. We ate pizza, made s'mores with this little fire pit my mother and I put together, told scary stories, ate & ate, played Apples to Apples {which I won}, painted nails with my insane collection of nail polish, and watched one of my top favorite movies, Phantom of the Opera. I'm not one to cry very much. I'm not very sappy, but I always cry at the end of Phantom. It is the most tragic story. I would've gone with the Phantom. Way more attractive. Way more sexy. Love his little lair. The summer of when I was 11 {totally wrong way to say that}, I discovered Phantom with my cousin. We watched it ten times a day, at least. That's when I realized I was a high soprano. My oh my, I love that movie.

All of these clothes are coming from two stores: T.I.L Darling and Karmaloop. I wanted to feature just these two stores to a) challenge myself to put outfits together and b) because they need to be more well known! They've got way cute stuff! It was a long process but a fun one.

Pretty much all of these outfits I would never wear because I always wear knee-length, short sleeve clothes. I'm much more comfortable like that. But if I were to wear them, I would probably pair them like this. Seriously, check out these stores!

I love any excuse to get dressed up. Such a simple color palette but I love it! It's odd how the shoes worked out perfectly with the cardigan and top. I'd practically given up on these shoes. I bought them last year for no reason really. {it was before I even really wore heels} But the other day I realized, huh these are cute. Some things you have to look at in a different way. So, I'm about 6'1 or 6'2 in these. I don't ever really think I'm that tall but I am, even flat footed.

This was Saturday's outfit, by the way. My outfit posts are not always on the day of. Just in case you were wondering.

Today I practiced driving with my mom. I've got three more months till my license and I've practiced TWICE. It was going great till I tried pulling into my garage. My driveway is on a steep hill and it was hard straightening back up to get in so I almost took off one of the mirrors. Did I mention I was driving a huge Tahoe? ;)

What a bummer. This outfit looked cuter in real life. It popped it a lot more. And I thought I looked decent looking. These pictures show I did not. Blah. I just ended up looking wide in the makeshift skirt.

Sometimes I just lay in bed and stare. And think and think. For hours I can do just that, until I'm too scared to get up, afraid of all the possibilities. I've been known to be too much in my head for my own good.

Lately I've been worried for my lack of desire for wanting to do real anything. My outfit-creating block. My goals that still aren't attained after many years. My blog layout, which is killing me because, let's face it, it's ugly and I just want something new, something fresh that isn't same old same old. I'm able to do stuff like this but Blogger is a whole different story.

Found this cute little walking place that was once a road by my house. I enjoyed walking along it on a little adventure. It would be a cute place to go walking hand in hand with someone at dusk and sit and talk on the little benches there. I'm a romantic.

I love this outfit. I find myself always wanting to wear maxi skirts, maxi dresses. I'm very prone to 70s things. And that's ok.

Don't hate me cause I still haven't commented back to anyone. For some reason my mac won't let me and so only when I have access to my other computer can I comment back, which will be soon.

Remember how I said I was going to get a nice camera like a month or two ago? Well, it is not happening now because of the cost. So, now instead of making my parents pay, I'm saving up. Nope not London, Oklahoma of all places. I was on the OU campus for my cousin's dental school graduation and there were telephone booths everywhere. My mom was like "oh we have to take some pictures by the telephones for your blog!"Oklahoma was interesting. I got to hang with my best friend and meet all of her new friends there. It was great!

Absolutely love this outfit! The skirt was a dress that I cut to make a skirt which I love better. Unfortunately nothing else looks as good with this top, so I've been a repeat offender with this outfit. At school the entire year, I never one exact outfit more than once! It was a little thing I loved just recreating outfits over and over! :)

Now, every morning I'm making a goal to do workouts I've found from Self Magazine and Seventeen Magazine. I'm trying to eat good and be super fit! Let's see how that goes.

Don't you love my tan line on my nose?

I felt like a goddess in this little getup. The skirt was actually a $10 maxi dress from Forever 21 that I cut off to make into a skirt. And I love it! I've always loved this mint color. As I came downstairs my mom asked, "Does that shirt go with that?" Why, of course it does! I love the mix of pastels together. So refreshing and light. The skirt gets wrinkled super easy, only complaint.

~~What's on my head?~~ They call it the milk maid braid. And they as in the ladies of The Beauty Department. {one of them being Lauren Conrad} The Beauty Department is a blog I came across that gives tips and tutorials for makeup, hair, face, etc. I love the blog! Very neat. I tried out the Milk Maid Braid. Didn't do so perfectly as they did, but sufficient enough.

New York...best time ever! Pictures coming. Not that they're any amazing-ness. I'm planning on moving there actually once I'm done with college or something. ;) I totally just loved the vibe there. What did my two aunts, my cousin, and I do while we were there? Shop and eat ,shop and eat. And that's the best place to do so. I gained a good {well-worth it} pounds. I got some cute clothes. {orange and purple pants...} It's so crazy and high maintenance there, but I love it! Once I got back, I've been working out {which I've never steadily done in my life before, so my body freaked out and went back to my weight before New York. yay!} and having been eating fairly well.

Now I'm off to Oklahoma for the weekend where I'll hang with some family and catch up with my dearest friend who moved there in December.

Oh, how I love crop tops! But I'm not that willing to show off skin, so I make it work out that I can still wear them but not show skin-YAY! LOVE this awesome cut-out heart top from RomWe! It's so cute! Even though I got some weird looks due to the pants, all the girls were loving my top!

After a week or so of no posting, I'm glad I finally can! I've felt so guilty that I haven't! Last weekend, I had three show choir shows, then this week I had to practice and then perform a play I was in, and then I had end of course testing, and now this weekend I have Hairspray the Musical which I helped choreograph and now I do makeup and backstage crew stuff at nights. I'm so tired and my body has been doing crazy stuff cause I'm so stressed. BUT, thankfully after this weekend it will all be over there and in about two weeks-school will be done! YAY!

So, I bought this awesome jeans from Yoox (they looked more coral online) and they are so fun! I've never had bright pants before! They're kinda paint streaked and reddish/corally. I can't wait to try out more stuff with them! What I love most is that I got them for $36 when they were originally $145! Wow!

This is what I wore Sunday for Easter. I would've posted sooner, but I've been busy up the wazoo!

I realized that this beautiful arrangement of polka dots outfit only cost around $33! The cardigan was on sale at Target for $8, the silk blouse for $4 from Goodwill (I get all of my vintage clothes from Goodwill), the perfect-in-every-shape-and-form skirt (seriously, so well made!) I got from good will for $7, the bag from Goodwill was $4, and the shoes from Urban Outfitters were on sale for $10.
