O.k Seekers, I am calling you out ......

Pat over at the 11th Company has put out the request to help those who protect our freedoms and rights, and who go to where they are ordered with out question

What the 11th company is looking for is usb flash drives, or donations to help get our troops podcasts they can fill what downtime they have.

Now to help get people involved, there is a contest

Now, what is a request like this without a contest…

A set of what look like the lavapools
A crashed satellite objective
A burrowing beast (not available for purchase yet)
A set of alien mushroom looking models (not available for purchase yet)

And a TAC Template with our logo on it.

Each person donating gets their name in the hat once for each working drive or each $5, to be drawn on Episode 50, our golden anniversary.

I am going to take a page out of the Old Masters book ... the TEW guys every now and then do this thing called Douche bag of the Month This Month .. MY Douche bag of the month is Lewis Caley from www.flashbay.com

Yes I am using his full name ... yes I am naming the company ... why ... WELLL here is the story seekers

The 11th Company is running this event where they are trying to get USB drives to fill up with 40k goodness to send over to serving troops who are not able to download the shows we all love and take for granted. As it would be cheaper for them to buy new drives rather then me send some over, I thought I would try and get some support from business that make usb drives, figuring that they had unwanted left overs that they couldnt sell ... because of branding and stuff So googled Usb Flash drives and emailed a few of the first few company's off the list ... one of which being flashbay.com ... now they didnt have a contact email address, just a form to filled out ... so I filled it out, outlining what the 11th company wanted to do, and asking them if they had any "Working Seconds" that they didnt want to store and could donate.

This Douche bag Lewis emailed me back with what seems to be an auto generated reponse with price list and how they are the fastest turn around in Australia (they are a UK based company) blah blah blah sales pitch blah blah blah.

I reponsed asking if he read my message or was this just an auto generated email and the personal responce would come later .... the ASSHOLE respond. AND I QUOTE " I donated some of time to read your enquiry hence my "working seconds". " I will cut and paste his full email below ... along with mine after the sales pitch. A simple no would have done it ... not this Bullshit .... (I am pissed if you cant guess)

So feel free to email Lewis at his address ... telling him what an asshole he is ... and remind him he shouldn't fuck with the 40k universe ... cause there is a lot more of us then he knows

Well Folks,

Life has once again gotten in the way of me following throughs on my plans

As many people might know I recently moved from Victoria to Queensland (South to North) ... Now the day I was suppose to do my first live show ... I will be moving from East to West ....

For all those interested, take a map of Australia, Look in the North East corner, and you will see Townsville, now look on the West side and find Perth ... and that is the move I am making, so the planned live show is moved back again, I will post here WHEN it will happen

Notes on Briskone IX

Briskone IX was a Industrial world, with a majority of its land covered in mines, foundries, and warehouses. The five continents got along peacefully, with one supplying the others in anything they were lacking.

The world was highly industrialised. The Adminstratum Offices being in the centre of the each city with a Major Imperial Guard base attached to each one.

And then it happens. The world was in 2 colliding warpaths. Splinter Fleet Bestia, and Ubernoger's WAAGH. As the war raged on orphans, widows, all moved into a large monastery that was no longer used, The Order of Our Martyred Lady sent a small unit to help defend these people. Then the Imperial Guard started to change, beginning with small things, and escalating to attempting to raid the monastery. They had fallen to the pearls of Chaos.

The Order of the Holy Flame

OVERVIEW
The Sisters of the Holy Flame was founded by Sister Xiomara Flammula on Briskone IX during the conflict between the Traitor guard, Waargh, and the invasion of Bestia. She miraculous survived a fiery battle between the Traitor Guard, where the rest of detachment was wiped out. As she devised a way to recovered the planet, she formed a bond with many of the young women, who were all willing to die to defend the planet, and avenge those who were now lost to them. Xiomara started to train the women in the way of the Sisterhood, focusing that strong discipline that they had from their previous lives.

Soon, with assistance from an Inquisitor and other Adepta Sororita, her small order was officially recognised and was actively serving the Ordo Hereticus. But unfortunately the war to win their home planet back was not going well, the were vastly out numbered, and even with the 3 factions fighting themselves, her new order could not get the land back.

At this stage the Inquisitor order the planet to be destroyed, and help the small order launch their monastery into space orbiting the doomed planet. When the bombardment started, it did not destroy the world, but instead filled the atmosphere with highly flammable gases.

Seeing this Sister Xiomara took a shuttle and flew it through the atmosphere, igniting the gas, turning the once thriving planet into a fire ball, destroying the Traitors and the aliens in one swoop. The blast from the planet catching alight blew the shuttle into space. There was an extensive search, but the shuttle wasn't found.

Ok Ladies and Gents

My first review is in ... and thought I screwed up on the sound quality (I know .. and I have taken steps to fix it) My first review has come in

EVIL ED's This week in podcasting has given me a soild 3 out of 5 ... Thats right ... right down the middle ... and I am sure if my well laid plans (like forgetting to install the drivers for my USB sound card onto my laptop) for better quality have worked it may have been higher ... but while the score is the middle of the road, the fact that Evil Ed wants to be on the podcast (Ed if you are reading this check your email, cause instructions on how to be part of the show are there) is what I take from it as that I might have stumbled onto a gold mine

On top of that the "Mr Murdock of the 40k podcasting" Romeo (Kidding Romeo) has also agreed to be on a future show ...

So I am currently in talks with the next hosts trying to work out when I can get them both on the line, as well planing out future episodes ... as always, if there is a topic that you want me to cover ... let me know via the feed back form

Kroot Mercenaries

Sick of playing with fish, but got a lot of Kroot models laying, this is the codex you need. This well play tested codex comes from the Krazy guys guys at Kompletely Kroot. Once again cause I dont own tau or kroot models I have been proxying, but it is still lots of fun. And on top of that these guys are have been really kind and included ways to model up the units in this codex.

The layout in this codex is very much a GW clone, which is great as it means it is very easy to find the information your looking ... right to the painting examples at the back of the book

On top of that, the writers and play testers of this list are always working on it ... so far it has been revised 5 times. Something GW could take note of.

Now I could list what I have been playing , but I am not going to ... this one I`m going to let you guys work out for yourselves.

For this Dex, I am going got give it 8 out of 10 Path Finders

Over the last couple of weeks I have been looking over a number of Fan made codex and resources. To tied people over while they wait for the monthly podcast, I am going to post a review for these resources and codi (or is Codexes) ...... I will also put up a list (with links) of the resources I have reviewed

Now with out gillieding the lilly or farther ado ....

CODEX: Cult Mechanicus

Now I have been reading this codex and had a few games with and against it ... and found it quiet balanced. The fluff was good and the layout was as good if not better then a lot of the GW Codexes ... which you can get from Tempus Fugitives

Now I have been proxing models, but if you are looking to run this army with models that fit ... you could buy them from Mirco Art Studios

Now I could go through all the units, and list them ... but I am not going to insult you guys, you can read it for yourself ...:P

Hello War gamers,

Aj here, with just a quick note about my new upcoming podcast. "The Imperial Truth" will be a show that has the greatest minds from with in the 40k community discussing issues that affect 40k and war gaming in general. You can expect to hear topics covered such as "Is there really That Guy?" "Should Tournaments have soft scores?" "Comp, is it needed in the current edition of 40k?"

After each episode you the listener will be invited to put your views across here in the comment section.

Some of the guests you can look forward to ... Dan and Rich from DLT, The IVC guys, as well as others (who haven't said yes yet)
