This month I decided to give a different type of subscription service a try and what better one to start with than one that you can eat. Love with Food is $12 a month ($10 for the box $2 for shipping) and for every box sold they donate a meal to a hungry child. Each month you’ll receive 8+ gourmet food items in your Love with Food box.

This month’s theme was Breakfast in Bed and I don’t really think they hit the mark on the theme. Why do I want to eat cookies and chips in bed for breakfast?... Regardless of the miss on the theme I did enjoy some of the products.

Last week I told you guys about a new time of the month subscription service and today I’m going to review that subscription for you. Bonjour Jolie is $16 + shipping for feminine supplies, specialty bath and body products, gifts, teas, and artisanal chocolates.

The box arrived in a very discreet mailer and had it not been for the company sticker on the back I wouldn't have known who it was from until I opened it up. Once I opened the box I was pleased to discover that everything inside was packaged very professionally and with that special touch only a small business can provide. There was much more in the box than I had expected as well not just the necessities but products that will really pamper your period, as Bonjour Jolie says!

My first impressions of this subscription service are very good I like the packaging, the price point, and the amount of items you receive. I would also like to point out that the shipping was very fast and took only 4 days to arrive to me in California from Florida. Every month I’m spending at least $13 to get the types of tampons and liners I like so for me this box is not only a great value but also makes it easy for me to get the right combination of products I need. I know some ladies may not like that the tampons and liners do not come in their original boxes however I’m the exact opposite being able to choose the combination of products is a selling point for me. Growing up with two sisters I never really saw the boxes for our necessities anyway and had this service been around when we were all living together I’m sure it would have saved me some late night trips to the store!

I’m also impressed by the selection of edible and pampering products as some of the companies I am familiar with and some were new to even me. The 2 Chicks with Chocolate truffle set was delicious (and yes I have already eaten them all…), the Indigo Wild Geranium bath salts are fragrant but not overpowering, and I’m completely intrigued by those little Earth Therapeutics Cucumber Eye Pads.

Just received my POPSUGAR Must Have box for April in the mail and I must say I am pretty disappointed with the contents of this months box. I'm well aware that is indeed the chance you take with subscription boxes and I'm only critical of this box because I have liked many of the item I have received from this sub in the past and feel that this box just wasn't up to their regular standards. Even if they would have included one more item I think it could have vastly improved this box, as it stands I'm just not feeling it and I'm hoping next month will be better.

This image was added to the Ipsy Facebook page (2/27/13) with the above caption. My guess is some sort of Beach theme I don't think they will call it "Beach Beauty" however since that was the theme of the July 2012 Glam Bag. Possibly even something nautical or suddenly spring related?!
