Pnoy SONA 2011: Noynoy delivers his 2nd SONA |Video

2011-07-26T00:56:00.000-07:00

President Benigno Simeon Aquino III - PNoy delivers his 2nd SONA July 25, 2011 at the House of Representatives.

Where is the direction for the next 5 years? What are in store for the Filipino toiling masses? For the majority of the Filipinos ? Where are we heading? Are we heading to the economic prosperity or at least the economic stability the people who voted Noynoy to the presidency are dreaming of and expecting? These are the important questions that should be address by Pnoy.

The Pnoy SONA 2011 is the continuation of wang wang politics of Noynoy. No economic plans. But semi-political bashing, blaming the past administration of Gloria Macapagal Arroyo for the poor (sorry) state of the Philippine socio-economic situation.

Noynoy also appoints Conchita Morales as the new Ombudsman and praises some of his cabinet secretaries for the job well done... raising the foreign credit rating, less importation of rice, accurate weather forecast... Comments are needed. Be the judge of this Pnoy administration.

Heidi Mendoza spilled the beans, pork and sauce | pics video

2011-02-04T16:18:00.000-08:00

Heidi Mendoza spilled the beans on the generals of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). What a lady with guts and probably with balls! She surely wins the heart of the Filipino public with her courageous acts of exposing the graft and corruption in the military establishment. She even said that she will run naked in Quezon City.

Heidi Mendoza a former employee of the Commission on Audit (COA) researched and studied the well known graft and corruption of the armed forces.

General Carlos Garcia who made a plea bargain that was taken immediately by the Sandiganbayan headed by Merceditas Gutierrez, an appointee of former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. The public was not pleased with the antics and stand of the Sandiganbayan chief, the protector of the public interest or the protector of the generals?

Heidi Mendoza told the House committee on justice chaired by Iloilo Rep. Niel Tupas that she had uncovered irregularities that included missing funds in millions of pesos and dollars despite the difficulty of sorting through the improperly maintained records of the AFP.

Among the missing funds, she said, was the P50 million that was taken from the P200-million United Nations fund representing reimbursement for peacekeeping operation expenses, and another $5 million representing UN reimbursement for equipment.

Where did the millions went? In the pockets and bank accounts of the generals and top officers with their pasalubong and pabaon (send-off) gifts. The top echelon of the militar is very generous to the higher ups while the foot soldiers, the ordinary rank and file members of the armed forces in the frontline, have no boots, limited ammunitions, less provisions, just like what the Magdalo group were saying during the Oakwood mutiny.

Pnoy as the commander in chief of the whole armed forces should have political will with this Heidi Mendoza expose.

Heidi Mendoza spilled the beans, pork and sauce, like a can of my favorite pork and beans, on the the Aquino administration. Let's see how Pnoy will handle the powerful generals.

Brittany Murphy autopsy results was delayed for 1-2 weeks. But some sources said Brittany Murphy died of cardiac arrest. And she is suffering from type 2 diabetes that complicates her heart not to function properly.

The Brittany Murphy death photos does not exist when I searched the net. But maybe later on when paparazzis might have the chance to photograph the dead body of the young, beautiful and talented Brittanny Murphy.

Noynoy Tops Survey for May 2010 elections: SWS

2009-12-15T07:27:00.000-08:00

Noynoy tops survey according to Social Weather Station (SWS). Noynoy Aquino, the son of the late senator Benigno Aquino and late President Cory Aquino still tops the survey with 59%, ahead by some points to presidential aspirant Manny Villar of Nationalista Party with 45%, and former President Erap Estrada with 18%.

Senator Chiz Escudero backout of the presidential race after sensing that the Nationalist People's Coalition will endorse DND Secretary Gilbert Teodoro, a Danding Cojuangco nephew. Blood is thicker than water. The nephew is thicker than the godson.

Senator Noynoy Aquino of the Liberal Party catapulted to presidential candidate after the massive show of sympathy and support of the people during and after the burial of his mother President Cory Aquino. Public opinion in favor of Noynoy led Senator Mar Roxas who had already announced his presidential bid give way to Noynoy and became the vice-presidential bet of the LP.

Critics of Noynoy, among media practitioners and people who favors the other presidential candidates said that Noynoy is not like his father and mother. According to them, Noynoy just sits at the Senate doing nothing as a legislator.

Well critics are critical of course, because Noynoy carry the popularity of the Aquino family and the one to beat in the 2010 elections.

But the figures show (the survey results) that Noynoy is the popular choice of the people as of now, several months away from the May 10, 2010 national election.

But is the SWS survey credible? SWS led by Mahar Mangahas is a well respected and credible survey firm. How about Pulse Asia survey, who's leading or what it shows? Let's wait for their survey. What is your guess? Villar leading or Noynoy's lead going down?

For now, Noynoy tops survey for May 2010 election according to SWS.
