हा खेळ बाहुल्यांचा! :)

पत्रकारितेच्या दुसर्या वर्षाला असताना संशोधनासाठी एका विषयाची निवड करायची होती तेव्हा, “Emoticons” म्हणजेच आपण कॉम्पुटर, SMS वरून बोलताना वापरणाऱ्या :) :-( सारख्या चिन्हांचा अभ्यास करायचं ठरवलं. लेखाला नाव देताना ढोबळमनाने emoticons ला बाहुल्य बोललं आहे; पण तरी emoticons हेच नाव संयुक्तिक ठरेल.

बऱ्याच संधोधाकांचे शोध निबंध वाचताना लक्षात आलं की, भारतीय भाषां मध्ये काहीच साहित्य नाही, म्हणून जमेल तेवढी माहिती मराठी मध्ये उपलब्ध करून देण्यासाठी हा लेख.

Emoticons ला मराठी मध्ये नवीन नाव न ठेवता त्याच नावाने संबोधित करून त्यांचा जन्म कसा झाला ते बघू. स्कॉट फाल्ह्मान, हे संगणक संशोधक १९ सप्टेंबर १९८२ रोजी,यांनी गमतीत, कार्नेगी मेलॉन विद्यापीठाच्या मेसेजबोर्ड वर एक संदेश पाठवला होता त्यात, सर्वप्रथम emoticons चा वापर केला होता. मजेचा भाग असा की हे मेसेज गहाळ झाले आणि सापडले ते १० सप्टेंबर २००२ रोजी.

emoticon चा शब्दशः अर्थ म्हणजे भावना व्यक्त करण्या साठी, हावभाव असलेली चिन्हे. दैनंदिन जीवनात आपण emoticons ना इतका ग्राह्य धरलंय की ते संगणकाच्या माध्यमातून संवाद साधण्याच्या व्याकरणात जावून बसले आहेत हेच आपण विसरतोय (म्हणजे वाक्य संपवताना पूर्णविरामाच्या जागी :) हे). फेसबुक आणि whatsapp वर गप्पा मारताना नुसते शब्द वापरून संवाद निरस वाटू शकतो. त्याच्या ऐवजी अक्षरां बरोबर emoticons वापरले तर रंजकता वाढू शकते. समोरा समोर बोलताना, जसं चेहऱ्याच्या स्नायूनचा वापर करून आपलं म्हणणं, भावना अधिक चांगल्या प्रमाणे समोरच्या पर्यंत पोहचवता येतं; तसंच emoticons चा वापर करून chatting करताना कराता येतं. ह्यात सुद्धा smilies आणि emoticons वेगळे बरं का! emoticons म्हणजे चेहर्याचे भाव दाखवणारे आणि smilies म्हणजे बाकी चिन्ह.

तुम्हाला गंमत वाटेल पण emoticons मध्ये सुद्धा बराच संवादाच्या अंगाने खूप नाही तरी बर्यापैकी संशोधन झालाय. अगदी, आपले बोलण्यातले हावभाव emoticons मध्ये येतात का? इथपासून ते, सर्वात जास्त emoticons कोण वापरतात? इथपर्यंत. एका संशोधनात तर असं आढळलं की, पुरुष हे महिलावर्गा पेक्षा अधिक emoticons वापरतात, ह्याच्या मागचे साधं कारण म्हणजे सर्व तथाकथित प्रगत (?) समजात, पुरुषांनी भावना व्यक्त करणं हलक्या दर्ज्यच समजलं जातं! ह्याला पर्याय म्हणून खाजगीबाब असणाऱ्या chatting मध्ये emoticons मधून भावना व्यक्त करणे.

ह्या emoticons मध्ये सुद्धा विविधता आढळते. जपान च्या emoticons, ईमोजि (emoji) मध्ये जास्तभर डोळ्यांच्या संवादावर असतो, उदारणार्थ >. <, ^.^ हे बघा आणि :) :( हे बघा, गूगलवर तुम्ही शोधलं तर असे बरेच फरक सापडू शकतील. वरच्या उदाहरणात पहिला प्रकार ईमोजि आहे, जपान सारख्या, बोलताना दुसरयाविषयी आदरभाव दाखवणाऱ्या संस्कृती मधून आलेले हे ईमोजी डोळ्यांनी जास्ती बोलतात. त्याच्या विरुद्ध म्हणजे नंतरचे अमेरिकन emoticons, ज्यात चेहरा दाखवण्यावर जास्त भर आहे.

emoticons च्या बाबतीत एक मजेशीर गोष्ट म्हणजे, सकारात्मक संवादा मध्ये emoticons वापर जास्त होतो, असा आढळून आलं आहे. रोजच्या जगण्यात आपल्याला कितीही त्रासिक चेहरा करून काम करावं लागलंतरी आभासी जगात उत्तम दिसावं हि तर ह्या मागची भावना नसेल? वापरकर्त्याला संवादासाठी स्वतंत्र आणि खाजगी वैयक्तिक जागा पुरवणाऱ्या chatrooms ह्या नवीन व्यक्तिमत्व तयार करताना दिसतात.

आपण बोलताना जसं जवळची व्यक्ती असलीतर अधिक मोकळेपणाने, हातवारे करून बोलतो तसंच emoticons च्या बाबतीत. जेवढे नाते अधिक घट्ट तेवढा emoticons चा वापर जास्त. ह्यात एक नकारात्मक बाब अशी की, संवाद्कर्ता प्रत्यक्षात एखादी भावना न-अनुभवता ती emoticons द्वारे व्यक्त करू शकतो. भावना खरी की खोटी हे ओळखणे कठीण आहे. आभासी जगाचा थोडातरी प्रभाव ह्या तंत्रद्याना वर हवा ना ?

समोरच्याला चाचपडून संवाद चालू ठेवण्यसाठी emoticons ची गरज आहे, आणि ती वाढत राहणार आहे. क्रिश३ च्या वेळी सुद्धा त्या चित्रपटाचे smilies, facebook वर दाखल झाले होते. अर्थात बाजाराला सुद्धा emoticons, smilies प्रकारांची दखल घ्यावी लागते हे विशेष. शेवटीकाय समोर समोर कोणाला डोळा मारायचा झाला आणि मारता येत नसेल तर सरळ chatting करताना, ;) पाठवून द्यावे, एवढी सगळी पोपटपंची झाल्यावर आपलं काम झाल्याशी मतलब :p

आता इथेच थांबतो, जसे नवीन मुद्दे वाचनात येतील तसे टाकत जाईन.

“कोवळे दिवस"-व्यंकटेश माडगूळकर, एक अस्वस्थ अनुभव

आपल्याकडे आत्मचरित्र वगैरे लिहिताना आपण कसे स्थितप्रज्ञ आणि बाकीचे कसे रस्खलानशील हे दाखवण्याची सवय आहे. स्वतःविषयी लिहिताना त्या मध्ये कथा गुंफून कादंबरीचे रूप देणे विरळा. ह्या सर्व आधुनिक आणि उत्तर आधुनिक तंत्रांचा खुबीने वापर करून अभिजात कलाकृती निर्माण करणारे व्यंकटेश माडगूळकर ह्यांची “कोवळे दिवस” हि स्वकथन वजा कादंबरी नुकतीच वाचनात आली त्या निमित्ताने थोडेशी खर्डेघाशी.

व्यंकटेश माडगूळकर हयांच लेखन वाइन सारखं आहे; चढ़त नाही, पिनारया ची चवं सुधारून जातं. जेवढ़ं जुनं, तेवढ अजुन गहिर होणारं. माडगूळकरां सारखं परिस्थिती अणि तीने निर्माण केलेले प्रश्न सूक्ष्म अणि तरल दाखवणं कठीण आहे. विकीपिडियाच्या माडगूळकरांच्या लेखात असलेला त्यांचा जीवनपट आणि “कोवळे दिवस” ह्या कादंबरीत येणारे वर्णन बऱ्याच अंशी सामायिक आहे; त्या मुळे हे त्यांचे स्व-कथन आहे हे मानण्यास थोडा का होई ना वाव आहे. कादंबरीचा नायक राजा, स्वातंत्र्य पूर्वी दहा-पंधरा वर्षे आधीच्या तरुणाईचे प्रतिनिधित्व करतो. लहान वयातच हा क्रांतीची आणि स्वातंत्र्याची आशावादी स्वप्ने घेवून बहार पडलाय आणि कट झाल्यावर आता भूमिगत देखील झालाय. समाजातील तथाकथित उच्चवर्गातून आलेला राजा भूमिगत होवून त्याच्या गावी आला आहे. त्याचं गाव संस्थानात मोडत असल्या मुळे पकडला जाण्याची टांगती तलवार म्हणावी तेवढी धारदार नाही. गावात करण्यासारखं काही नसल्या मुळे रोज गायीला चाऱ्याला घेवून जाणे आणि कोणेकाळी शिकलेली चित्रकला कॅनवास वर उतरवणे हेच काम आहे. मोकळ्या कुराणान वर गायीला मोकळं सोडून वर निळ्या आकाशा खाली त्याचं विचारविश्व भिरभिरत; त्याला त्याच्या आंदोलना च्या काळात घेवून जातं, दुसऱ्या महायुद्धा च्या वेळी सैन्यात भारती होण्या साठी केलेला प्रयत्न, रामोशी मुलां बरोबर जंगलात केलेली मस्ती, त्याची बालमैत्रीण यमु सगळं.

राजा परत आला आहे तेव्हा गाव बदललय, त्याच्या बरोबर चे काम करणारे बाप्ये झालेत. त्याचीही दृष्टी बदलली आहे. अश्यावेळी एकलकोंडा आणि भूमिगत झालेला आपला नायक चित्रकला आणि चिंतन ह्या दोनच गोष्टी करतो. यमु बद्दल त्याला सुप्त आकर्षण आहे पण त्याने ते मैत्री च्या पातळी वरच ठेवले आहे. राजा ला चळवळीच्या कामा साठी गाव सोडावं लागतं; दरम्यानच्या काळात त्याची गायही हरवते आणि यमुही. मजल दर मजल करत राजा नव्याने वसवलेल्या उद्योग नगरातल्या प्रेस मध्ये चित्रकाराची नोकरी स्वीकारतो. तिथे स्नेह्यांच्या घरात राहताना राजा ला घरात नुकतीच आलेली यजमानाच्या बायको ची बहिण, उमा आवडते. तिला मॉडेल म्हणून चित्र काढता, काढता दोघांचे बंध जुळतात पण एकदा प्रणय प्रसंगी रंगे हात पकडल्या नंतर राजा ला हाकलून देण्यात येत. नोकरी सोडून राजाला शहर सोडून जावं लागतं. Warrant असलेला राजा पोलिसांकडे अटक होण्या साठी जातो तर तो पर्यंत कटामधील लोकांना सोडण्याचं फर्मान निघालेलं असत. स्वतंत्र मिळूनही असहाय, अगतिक झालेला राजा नोकरीच्या शोधात मुंबई ला गर्दी चा एक भाग बनून जातो, चित्रकलेचा ब्रश सोडून पेन घेवून शब्दांचा चित्रकार होतो आणि आठवणींवर खपली चढवत लिहिती राहतो.

वर वर भंपक आणि सवंग लोकप्रिय वाटणारी गोष्ट माडगूळकर ह्यांच्या सामाजिक भान आणि माणूस ओळखण्यची कला ह्या मुळे गहिरी झाली आहे. क्रांतिकारकांचे सामाजिक रूप दाखवताना कौटुंबिक, व्यक्तिगत अधिक स्पष्ट बोलायचं झालं तर लैंगिक आकर्षण ह्या घटकांवर जास्त बोललं अथवा लिहिलं जात नाही. कार्यकर्ता हा देखील माणूसच असतो पण आपण इतिहासबाजी, राष्ट्रपुरुष ह्या सारख्या संकल्पना, गोड झापडं लावून माणूस समजण्याचे बाकीचे दरवाजे बंद करतो. असं करून आपण कोणते संस्कृतिरक्षण करतोय? सत्याचे कि ढोंगीपणाचे? राजा ची यमु बद्दलची ओढ, उमा बरोबरचे संबंध व्यक्तिरेखेच्या आवाक्यानुसार आले आहेत. कथे मध्ये नाना पाटील आणि त्यांचे पत्री सरकार, क्रांतीकारांच्या टोळ्या उल्लेख वेळोवेळी येतो. वाचनाची आवड असलेल्या राजाला स्वताची वैचारिक चौकट आहे, त्या चौकटी मध्ये राहून विचार करण्याकडे मग भलेही ते व्यवस्थेच्या विरुद्ध का असेना करण्याची प्रवृत्ती वेळोवेळी योग्य प्रसंगांनी दाखवली आहे. (उदाहरणार्थ, पत्री सरकार च्या लोकांना,` तुम्ही विहीरी का खणत नाही? विचारणे, आपण क्रांतिकारक आहोत ह्याचा जरा सुद्धा पत्ता उमाला लागू न देण, इत्यादी इत्यादी.) कथेत आलेली माणसं, त्यांचे वाक्यप्रचार, हेल, स्वतःविषयीच्या कल्पना १९३०-१९४० मधल्याकाळातीलच वाटतात. जातींचे आणि त्यांच्या व्यवसायांचे संदर्भ राजाच्या स्वागता मध्ये बेमालूम पणे येतात. लेखक म्हणून बदलत जाणारी राजाची नजर आणि त्याला कारणीभूत असलेल्या घटना ह्यांची सांगड उत्तम घातली आहे. आधी असलेला आदर्शवाद आणि खऱ्याखुऱ्या चळवळीच्या काळात येणारे प्रश्न आणि भविष्याची चिंता ह्या सर्व परिस्थितीच्या फ्रेम मध्ये आपला नायक उभा राहतो, लेखक होतो, क्रांतीचा जल्लोष संपतो आणि उरते फक्त राहून गेलेल्या प्रेमाची आठवण, ताजी आणि दुखणारी.

व्यंकटेश माडगूळकर ह्यांची “कोवळे दिवस” हि कादंबरी अभिजात आणि मराठी माती प्रमाणे अस्सल आहे ह्यात शंकाच नाही. जो पर्यंत राज्यक्रांत्या होत राहतील, समाज व्यवस्था आणि ती बदलण्याची स्वप्न पाहणारे आणि ते रोखण्यासाठी जीवाचा आटापिटा करणारे सनातनी हे सर्व घटक राजा सारख्या अनेकांच्या कोवळ्या दिवसांचे मध्यस्त आणि साक्षीदार असतील.

Death and dimensions -part one

Death has been fascinating me from the childhood .I used to read stories about wars , in every story one king or his troop kills opposite site , some people die and some becomes martyr.The question haunted me is that how come dying from winning side makes you martyr and dying from loser side makes you dead.Individual performance in war never gets noticed over the group performance.Historian differentiate while destiny treats equally .
I never seen actually people dying , I read , seen , experienced them from others .Hindu death rituals involves certain things which could make child feel like death is something which is disgusting and dangerous. (I know hindu rituals so I am commenting on them ,to comment on others I need to know them ).Death is such a beautiful thing as life , if nature has given us life that we consider is beautiful but practically it involves tensions , struggle so the thing which ends all these must be beautiful .Interesting thing is that we think life is a gift by nature which involves struggle for survival and we hate death which releases us from the tension .
People fear from the death .Try to avoid by chanting religious scripts ,taking medicines , now we even secure our death by taking life insurance thinking that we family will get something and survive .Nothing wrong in this , every one wants to live ,very few wants to die for their goals like bhagat singh and conveyed their philosophy so this ना सीरत दे ना सारत दे ,
बस तेरे वतन पे मर मिटने की चाहत दे .These people have really understood death that it is certainly not the end , it can be the end of our physiological and biological existence but thoughts prevail .Death is just beginning of another journey ,that path has been debatable but mysterious.

” मातोश्री वर अर्धी रात्र "

तेंडुलकरांनी लघु कथे साठी राजकीय भाष्य करून समांतर इतिहास हा फॉर्म प्रथम मराठी मध्ये आणला होता.
दुर्दैवाने ज्या काळात मध्ये ह्या कथा प्रकाशित झाल्या त्या काळात राजकीय दाबावा पोटी आणि राजकीय नेत्यान च्या दांभिक दैवाती करणा च्या मुळे ह्याना व्यासपीठ मिळाले नसावे

.
आता ते नेते हि नाहीत आणि तेंडूलकर हि नाहीत , तरी तेंडुलकरांचे सामाजिक भाष्य आजहि लागू पडते.

आपली कथा मध्यमवर्गीय अशावादा मध्ये अडकून न ठेवता तेंडूलकर हे वास्तवाशी तोंड ओळख करून

देतात .ह्या कथा संग्रहां मधल्या बर्याच कथा आणि तेंडूलकर हे जगलेले आयुष्य ह्यात साम्य आहे . प्रत्येक कलाकृती हि कलाकाराने जगलेल्या घटनांचा अविष्कार असते असे म्हणतात पण तेंडूलकर त्याची वास्तवा शी सांगड घालून तो मुद्दा अधिक नाट्यमय करतात .

मुंबईतला समाज तेंडूलकर जितक्या ताकदीने उभे करतात , तो फार थोड्या लेखकांनी केला आहे.

मुखवट्या मागचा माणूस तेंडुलकरांना बरोबर दिसतो , मातोश्री वारीन अर्धी रात्र घ्या गोष्टीचा विचार ह्या लेख मध्ये करूया . एक सामान्य मासज वाला मातोश्रीवर साहेबां कडे ,ते देखील दस्तुरखुद्द साहेबांचा “आदेश “ आल्या वर जातो आणि त्याच्या नजरेला ज्या गोष्टी दिसतात त्यांने वर्णन आहे .हा मसाज वाला सेनेत नसलेला पण सामना वाचणारा आहे , साहेबांची भाषण ऐकणारा , त्यातून स्फूर्ती घेणारा आणि साहेबांन बद्दल भयंकर आदर असलेला आहे .त्याला , त्याच्या समाजात राहून मिळालेली आकलन शक्ती चे दर्शन तेंडूलकर सहज घडवतात.

बाळासाहेब आणि मसाजवाला ह्या व्यक्ती आपले सामाजिक , आर्थिक , राजकीय वर्तुळ सोडून जेंव्हा , एकमेकांशी गप्पा मारतात तेव्हा जो संवाद होतो तो सर्व कृत्रिम परिमाण ओलांडून नैसर्गिक होतो , जेंव्हा बाळासाहेब मसाज साठी उघडे होतात तेव्हा त्यांचा कृश देह बघून महाराष्ट्राला आदेश देणारा हाच माणूस का असा प्रश्न मसाजवाल्याला पडतो .

माणसाला माणूस म्हणून बघणारे दृष्टीकोन फार कमी लोकांकडे आढळतात , स्वताला अभिजन समाज्नार्यानकडे तर कमीच ,अश्या स्थितीत तेंडूलकर आणि त्यांची पात्रे अगदी खरी आणि भाबडी वाटतात.नवीन अनुभव घेण्या साठी वाचाच .

Coincidence or miracles?
Miracles happen but to those who believe in it, but coincidence can happen with anyone. Recently I have experienced such a thing.For me miracles are imaginary things for religious and romantic people to live happily. Let me narrate one incident
I was traveling with my family, we were coming back from marriage in our wagon R car.Marriage was in Borivali, we attended marriage and left. A day before we had little problem in our car 's battery, we and mechanics were unable to fix on that day, so we decided to leave for home as early as possible as soon after the ceremony. We left Borivali nearly at 5pm and reached Dombivli MIDC manpada at 7 pm.As we entered the city we encountered major traffic, well aware of a situation that battery is not working properly my dad shut down the air conditioner (to save the battery in traffic) .We started moving slowly with the other vehicles. We were moving extremely slow in traffic along with many undisciplined two wheelers and rat race loving four wheelers. At one point our cars 's engine stopped suddenly. It made me sad not just because it was our car but also now I am suppose to push the car out of the traffic. Fortunately we had one uncle in our car to accompany me. We both starqeted pushing the car when my dad sat infront of driving wheel.
We parked car near one corner, my dad and uncle went to search a mechanic leaving me near car to guard it.
I waited there for 30 minutes with patience then after slowly my patience began shaking. I my slef now decided to call my dad to ask their status, as I dialed my dad I came to know that my balance is too low. I was in mess, left in traffic corner, my eyes were started searching for recharge shop but I could not find. I need to stand near my car so could not left the place. I prayed for a while and forgot about it.I started giving miss calls to my dad and his friend who was with him, which they did not reply .Time was passing and I was becoming more helpless.
In 5 minutes I received a message saying my account balance is refilled with 50 rupees. I stunned and surprised, I got what I wanted without asking others to help me. Later I came to know that while I was guarding a car my mom and aunt went to home meanwhile she refilled my account.
Point here is these little coincidences make life interesting so when some people call them miracle rational should not criticize because incident like this encourages people to believe on something which is better than not believing on anything!

Serial to study — big bang theory

Big bang theory - best television serial ever
When we think of television serials we indians imagine absurd Indian TV serials which many times depicts the more or less same story with loud sound effects , close ups ,noisy acting.I was having this big bang theory episodes but I had not seen them , thinking that it would be same double meaning comedy but when I saw big bang theory show it baffled me and proved me 100% wrong ,show is as brilliant as scholars in this show .
This is a story of 4 scholars Sheldon , Leonard, &Howards ,Raj it would be offensive to call them geeks because after watching many seasons you will fall in love with the characters and could not call them geeks.
I wont be discussing story here , any one can find story on the wikipedia .I will be interpreting the show .First of all coming up with such kind of show in which typical comic characters wont work need courage and creativity . These four guys are scientist so dialogues are written keeping that in mind .The basic essence of a plot is how extremely brilliant people behave in society , what makes them so different from common people .We have heard stories of Isac Newtons , Einstein and many scientist how they got puzzled in common circumstances same things reflects here . Sheldon is smartest of all , who's aim of a life is to win noble prize dedicated and always worried about his health (like great picaso) , Leonard is stud amongst them all who smart enough to talk and hang out with woman , Raj is Indian who thinks he cant talk to women unless he drinks alcohol basically he is shy to talk to women and gives this excuse , Howard is wanna be to who thinks he is handsome and always trying to impress girls .The Unique selling point of a show is its difference , unlike other american shows it showed the people as they are .(in all other shows handsome people are shown protagonist unlike this one)
Bachelor life of these people shown beautifully and realistically , their crush , emotions , breakups are shown . Now sixth season is airing, over the seasons story went forward , many characters came in , Howard is married , Sheldon found his girlfriend with the help of Raj and Howard , Leonard is dating panny after having two breakups with her and one with another As story moves the friendship , bonding of these characters are shown . It is common in showing people kissing on screen in US television shows unlike Indians .
American lifestyles can be seen through this serials , bachelors living away from home finds it strange when Howard decides to stay with his mother .For Americans sex marriage is not big deal .
Penny is a girl lives girl next door to Leonard and Sheldon , who is positioned as thread between these guys intelligent world and common world .In earlier seasons ,penny was siding character over the episodes she has became the lead actress .Every character in the serial has unique personality , show makers has given enough time and episodes to develop them with meaningful scenes , characterisation is excellent .Show makers filled little details in every characters life and made audience to guess , judge the characters upon their own terms which is biggest success of the show .Camera work is nice unlike Indian in which focus is on the face , with several panning effects .This show is shot in studio with live audience to get the sound of their laughter
The show is also well marketed , it has well maintained web site , wikipedia has enough content on the show .In the show guys are shown addicted to comics , super heroes so to take advantage of this , it makets the show with help of merchandise .Indian show can learn lot from it.

Finding the rapist -

On 16 December a girl was raped in a moving bus by group of people , next day news came out and went on national level and the issue is burning till now , However the news stirred the whole Indian society this article is an attempt to unfold the events .

Union Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh's remark that the country needs more toilets than temples has stirred a political row. The last year in 2011 when India won the world cup after that there was empty space in media at the same time there was campaign by this group of NGO's started in Jantar Mantar to amend Lokpal Bill. Delhi based news channels give exclusive and wide coverage to their protest , surprisingly after the ,media exposure supporters drastically increased and the movement went become mass movement ,there are some more points to look out
1) Electronic Media's helping hand -
After the media exclusive coverage and time to time update about the movement it became "event" were some people came just to get opportunity to screen on TV, there were food stalls ,people came in freedom fighter's attire, celebrity turning up on the stage shouting slogans against corruption , By seeing this drama many people posted this video on social networking sites ,discussing started over it this all happened because of electronic media's attention.
2)Anti Politician Attitude
Generally we are told in India politics is last stop of all gunda's so many people just hate politics and politicians , they dont vote and completely negative approach towards he system unfortunately that class is middle class and upper middle class .IAC put forwards this thought only in different tone of Lokpal and asking government to change the system
3)Organizers’ failure
The movement did not have clear cut ideology or program to give to their supporters .The only demand was for Lokpal bill and to punish corrupt politicians but movement did not talk about corruption in the other fields may be to secure their funds .Failure of these resulted in violence against media who showed faults of the movement from the battle ground ,many considered shouting slogan or candle march will work to amend lokpal and to punish the corrupt politicians but it did not worked . Organisers and leaders were only busy in gathering more and more people and gaining media attention and to remain in lime light , they fail to give ideological , long lasting structural base to the movement which will keep the spirit even if movement stops.
4)Political Party
After constant criticism on the system by the agitators , many asked them to come in the system and change then gave them challenge and it was necessary after the point when IAC was possessing extreme cynicism about the system .Many of the leaders want to work as a pressure group which will not join politics but look after the politics and take center stage to guide the common people and raised voice as a watchdog or whistle blower. Mostly senior members like anna , justice hedge , kiran bedi were not ready for electoral politics.The young blood in the organisation want to challenge established politicians by bringing so called common man in electoral politics , Kejrial by that time became important leader of the IAC .Many of political activist advised him instead of working as mere pressure group they need to join politics and give their supporters option in election in order to bring reform they want to. Forming political was never on the agenda of the movement agenda was amending lokpal to reduce corruption .

Marathi play written by vishnu vaman shirwadkar in 70s.Play is about stage actor who once remained superstar of Marathi theatre.The play was written in 70's . I only was recorded version of this play .I have not seen the original play . It was played many well known actors in marathi industry , i saw video version of the play in which prominent marathi actor shriram lagu played protagonist.
Play starts with monologue which resembles to be dialogue of old veteran marathi stage actor Mr.Belvalkar to his audience after getting life time achievement award .On that day he gets 40,00 rupees which in which 10K he donates for charity and rest divide n his son and his wife and daughter and her husband and apparently becomes empty.On the same day he gifts gold necklace and expresses his love to her.Mr.Belvalkar then starts living in his son's posh flat which he took from the money he got from his father.Further living with his son he has dispute with his daughter in law , she does not like his raw behavior with her daughter and asks her husband to scold him.Mr.Belvalkar and his wife mutually move out and stays with their daughter .While living in son in laws house he ask son in laws boss move out of the house which came to him to discuss theater and abuses his idols .later Mr.Belvalkar's daughter doubts him of stealing money from her house.Belwalkar collapses with this accuse and decides to leave his daughter;s place and move out .Mean while in travelling he losses his wife and met different people , express his grief with the help of dialogues from the theater plays which he had played .Finally his family spots him , after seeing all he refuses to comes back and delivers one of speech , which he does regularly not purposefully but due to his mental illness. After his speech he gets heart attack and he dies .

Play is broadly based on king lear , King Lear is a tragedy by William Shakespeare. The title character descends into madness after foolishly disposing of his estate between two of his three daughters based on their flattery, bringing tragic consequences for all.Video version of te play however took advance and showed monologues dream sequences.Sometime Music was too loud for the scene ,Tv usually does this trick to attract audience.The play came on stage in 70s all the elements are perfectly shown , dresses , language used according to contemporary time and it has done excellently.Philosophy told in this play is basically shakespearan philosophy based on his drams romeo-juliet , King lear ,Macbeth,Hamlet .Protagonist comapres his life with the characters of Shakespeare and recites the philosophy.However this is the story of true theater artist who wants to spend retirement with his wifeand his past experiences but unfortunately he could not let the things happens all the time and tragedy happens to him .

Analysis of Magazine advertisements

Comparing magazine ads from 1980 and 2000, the content analysis showed an increase over time in visual prominence and openness. The increase in visual prominence was indicated by an increase in visual surface area, a decline in verbal copy (both surface area and average amount of words), and a decline of ads with the headline or body copy above the visual. The increase in openness was indicated by a decline in both visual product depiction and verbal references to the product, an increase in cropped and unrealistic images, and a decline in verbal anchoring and guidance towards an interpretation. These findings corrobate previous studies which identified a trend towards visual prominence based on an increase of ‘mainly pictorial ads’ and a decline in verbal-copy volume. In addition, our findings are in accord with previous studies which suggested a trend towards more openness based on a decline in product portrayal in magazine ads between 1978 and 1988, an increase of rhetorical figures requiring closure, and a decline in verbal anchoring. In conclusion, the results of our content analysis supported our expectations regarding the trends towards visual prominence and openness, extended previous research results for the years 1980 and 2000, and strengthened previous indications because the present study used more specific measures. Moreover, our findings showed that the increase in visual prominence and openness were found not only in the total sample, but also in each of the four magazines selected for this study, and additionally in each of the four product types that we were able to extract from our sample of advertisements. Our finding that the trends towards visual prominence and openness are general across four magazines and four product types is not self-evident, because advertisers might be expected to address different target groups in different ways (Cook 2001; Leiss, Kline and Jhally 1990). Our findings suggest that the trends are general and not confined to specific magazines or products, though they may be stronger or weaker for specific magazine types and product categories. For example, this trend might be particularly strong in trendy magazines because these are generally highly visually oriented.

BJP-led NDA will hold a country-wide protest or "Bharat Bandh" on 20th September 2012 protesting against the central government's decision to hike diesel price and allow FDI in multi-brand retail. Announcing the alliance's decision here, BJP leader LK Advani said, "The NDA on Sep 15 decided to hold a nation-wide strike on 20th of this month. I am sure that the suffocation felt by the people for a long time is about to come to an end."

In a joint statement, SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav along with Left parties, JD(S), BJD and TDP alleged that the UPA government has "stuck cruel blows on the people one after another" by raising diesel price, limiting subsidised cooking gas, opening up of multi-brand retail and disinvestment of PSUs. "Let us all unite to stop these measures which will further burden the people and ruin their livelihood. Let there be a powerful protest on September 20 through hartals, picketing, demonstrations and court arrest programmes," the statement said. Besides Yadav, the statement was signed by H D Deve Gowda (JD-S), Prakash Karat (CPI-M), S Sudhakar Reddy (CPI), Naveen Patnaik (BJD), Chandrababu Naidu (TDP), Debabrata Biswas (Forward Bloc) and T J Chandrachoodan (RSP). BJP-led NDA separately announced that it will hold a nation-wide strike on the same day, September 20, to demand rollback of FDI in multi-brand retail and the Rs 5 hike in diesel prices.

More protests were held across the Muslim world on Friday against the film made in the United States that criticises the Prophet Muhammad.

The Muslim Brotherhood cancelled planned rallies across Egypt, opting instead for a smaller demonstration at Cairo’s Tahrir Square.

Security remains tight outside the US embassy in the city. A concrete barrier has been erected around the building to ward off further attacks.

Nasser, a Cairo resident, deplored the violence that the film has sparked.

“We have other ways to protest. We shouldn’t have burnt the police cars. We shouldn’t destroy our property and waste our own money like that,” he said.

Demonstrations were also held in San’aa, the capital of Yemen.

The country’s government has long been an ally of the US in its fight against Al-Qaeda in the region.

European cities have become the target for anti-U.S. protests. Police in Antwerp in the north of Belgium sealed off an area after a group of around 200 young Muslims took to the streets. Some of the protesters carried black flags often associated with Salafi radical Islam. Their chants included, ‘Obama go to hell’.

Police used pepper sprays and arrested a number of people who its understood were later released.

Its reported the demonstration had been organised through SMS messaging on Friday. Muslim women held a separate protest a short distance away.

Pepper futures traded marginally higher after having fallen in the previous session. Reports of steady demand from the domestic market supported the price rise. However, overall lower offtakes from the domestic and overseas buyers capped the sharp price uptrend. Also, higher production estimates for the current year too added pressure to the price. India’s pepper production for the year 2012-13 is estimated to be 55000-60000 tonnes as against 43000 tonnes produced last year. The crop from Kerala and Karnataka is expected to hit the market during the month of November-December. However, the demand from domestic market which is expected to pick up ahead of festivals could limit the price fall in near term.

Foreign direct investment -
Multinational retailers like WalMart, Carrefour of France and Metro of Germany already have stores, but they are not allowed to sell to walk-in customers. They deal with smaller retailers, like the family-run shops in most localilities. The government had last year cleared 51 per cent FDI in multi-brand retailers for cities with populations of more than a million. But it had to rollback that decision after huge protests led by allies of the UPA government and the opposition, broke out across the country.
Importantly - and the government has underscored this provision - the policy allows state governments to decide whether to allow FDI in multi-brand retail or not. So, the government says, if opposition parties don't want the FDI, they can make that choice.
