One of my favorite episodes where Allison, Derek's ex-wife came back to Seatlle Grace and Derek struggles with choosing between her and his present girl Meredith.

I can relate with how Meredith felt when Allison came back. It is hard to compete with someone from the past because you are not just competing with the person but also with the relationship and the memories they have established. This line from Derek says it all:

"Derek: [to Meredith] Look I was married for 11 years. Addison is my family. That is 11 Thanksgiving’s, 11 birthdays, 11 Christmas’s, and in one day I am supposed to sign a piece of paper and end my family? A person doesn’t do that, not without a little hesitation. I’m entitled to a little uncertainty here. Just a moment to understand the magnitude of what it means to cut somebody out of my life. I am entitled to at least one moment of painful doubt and a little understanding from you would be nice."

I think Derek is selfish, well he should have thought of that before he got in to a relationship with Meredith. But it happens...We enter into new relationships thinking that we have moved on or at least ready to move on. We think that being in a new relationship will help us forget the pains from our last one. It is not easy to just cut somebody off of your life even if they have hurt you badly in the past. It's not easy to let go of memories both good and bad.

I'm not the kind of girl who, when faced with a man who is deciding between me and someone else, will say "Pick me, choose me, love me." I firmly believe that if a man loves me, and I mean really loves me, there would be no choice for him. I would want him to feel for me in the same way that I feel for him, and when I am in love, there is no other choice but the target of my love. At the end of the day this is what I would say:

"Well, it is your choice, it's simple, her or me. I love you. In a really really big, pretend to like your taste in music, let you eat the last piece of cheesecake, hold a radio over my head outside your window, unfortunate way that makes me hate you, love you. I can fight for you but I will not beg for you to pick me, choose me and love me. I love myself more, that I would not go that far and we both know that I do not deserve that. Just remember that if you choose her, she may hurt you (again) and when she does, I won't be here." ☺

Well, that's just me...It's gonna hurt like hell if the person you love chooses the other girl but the thing is you shouldn't allow yourself to just be an option or one of the many options. Know that you the deserve someone who doesn't need to choose because there would be no other choice for him but you.
Fighting for love is a lot different from begging for it. I think that the begging and the "will do anything and everything for you just choose me over her" is only for movies or telenovelas. People may call pride, but I prefer to call it self-love and self-respect. ☺

I want to get married twice...to the same man ofcourse!!! Haha! I have 2 dream weddings and I just couldn't pick one so I have decided to post both.

My first dream wedding is a beach wedding, overlooking the ocean and just right before the sunset. It doesn't have to be grandeur and only our closest family and friends will be invited. I want it as simple and as serene as the photo below:

Now you know why I want my first wedding to be very simple. I have to save up for my ultimate dream wedding in Rome! I just find Rome the perfect place for a wedding. This again is a result of watching too much romantic movies, you can specifically blame the movie When in Rome.lol!

Day 6 - Siberian Husky

I love dogs! But the Siberian Husky is my favorite and I'd love to have one as a pet.

The Siberian Husky was originally bred as a sled dog. The Siberian Husky looks a bit threatening due it's wolf like features but like any other dogs, they're friendly and affectionate and are extremely intelligent. Most people think that they can only survive in cold places, but they extremely adaptable and can survive in warm climates. I will definitely have one as a pet..soon. :)

Day 5 - 2 Years Ago...

This was taken during Mike's birthday at Eco park 2 years ago. I couldn't think of any other picture to post.Yan yung last few months ko before ako mag resign sa etel. A lot of things have changed and happened for the last 2 years and here are just some of them:

1. I started working for a new company where I also found new good friends.

2. Moved to a new place with 2 of my best friends.

3. Started my MBA program

4. Had my first plane ride to Palawan.

5. My 1^st out of the country trip to Hong Kong.

6. My trip to Singapore

7. Took the CEP exam. Passed CEP 1 and will soon pass CEP 2. Naks! Haha

8. Lost weight

9. Gained weight..haha. and lastly...

10. Fell in love.(cheesy much!!!) hahaha J

Day 4 - My Bestfriend

That's my bestfriend Criselda. This girl has been my best friend since high school. I don't really have a favorite picture of her but this picture just perfectly describes her: Nice, sweet, bubbly, candid and I can go on with a list of all her good traits. She's the nicest person I have ever known. I can still recall nung high school ayaw nya na may galit sa kanya or may kagalit cya. Nung nagpaulan si Lord ng kabaitan halos nakuha nya ata lahat. Hehe. One of our favorite things to do ay ang pag stalk sa mga crush namin..haha! at dito nadevelop ang pagiging best researcher ko. We went to different schools during college but we still reamined friends. Now that we are both working, we really seldom see each other. I think I have not seen her for the last 2 years, but we still remain best of friends. Kaya naman excited na ako sa grant reunion namin on January. I am really looking forward to seeeing her again along with the rest of my highschool friends. And oh, another thing you have to know about my bestfriend...

Selda and Tina

She has a twin sister!! ☺. Tapos they love to wear the same outfit and confuse people!!! hahaha.That's why they were never in the same class. It took me quite a while to learn how to differentiate them. Pero the best yung isang teacher namin nung high school nalaman lang na kambal sila halfway through the school year. Akala lang daw nya nakiki klase lang sa kabilang section yung isa sa kanila. :S
