LED Please!

Styling Secrets: Mirrors

Think large: For great impact, prop an oversize rectangular mirror on the floor. Doing this adjacent to a sofa or chair will make the space feel larger than it is. This works well in any space, particularly in a living and dining room.

When small is necessary: In a limited space, grouping small mirrors can make the space feel larger. The reflection captured by the collection of mirriors will add dimension to the small area you are working with. A great space to use this tip could be in a hallway between two doors or even above a bedroom dresser.

Color is one of the most effective and least expensive ways to give a room or a whole house new life. Color is a tool that demands thoughtful consideration, so keep in mind....

*Cool and pastel colors make rooms feel larger and reflect more light.

*Warm and bright colors are visually heavier than cool hues.

Here some things to think about

Choose a dominant color first then add accent colors. Limit yourself

to 2 or 3 hues in each room.

Lighting used in a room plays a huge roll in how color is perceived.

So be sure to check color choices under all lighting conditions.

A good technique to use is to paint your sample color on foam core

check throughout the day to see how the color changes with the light.

Yes, you heard right. Mmmmm-hummmm

I found this at Savor Home Blog!!!

Here is what you need.

4 tablespoons of flour
4 tablespoons of sugar
3 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tablespoons of skim milk- yep skim milk
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of baking powder

Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl and pour the batter into a normal-sized coffee mug.

Tiffany, author of Savor Home, goes on to say......

Now, here is where it gets tricky... The consistency of the cake should be cakey AND gooey. To get this consistency, it will take anywhere from 50 seconds to 1 minute and 15 seconds. It all depends on your microwave! I made it in two different microwaves over the weekend. It cooked in 50 seconds in my parents microwave. It cooked in 60 seconds in my microwave. My advice is to start with 50 seconds, then check the consistency. If it is too gooey for your taste, then cook it another 10 seconds.

Also, be sure to have your spoon and a side of ice cream and/or whipped cream ready to go as soon as it's done! It continues to cook in the mug after it's done, so it tends to get dry as it sits.

.........I am usually STARVING.

This looks yummy and easy,

my favorite combination.

Donna's Chicken

Ingredients:

2 cups all purpose flour

9 chicken breasts, washed + fat cut off + patted dry

16 cups of freshly picked spinach (or one large bag of fresh spinach)- washed + dried

2 cups heavy whipping cream

2 cups Romano cheese

sea salt + freshly cracked pepper

Directions:

Place all washed and dried spinach into a 15" x 9" baking dish.

In a shallow dish, add flour, and coat each chicken breast lightly and place on top of chicken.

Pour whipping cream onto spinach, trying to avoid pouring it onto the chicken.

Sprinkle Romano cheese on top of chicken breasts and season with sea salt and freshly cracked pepper to your desired taste.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes, or until chicken is light golden brown.

Serving recommendations: freshly baked sourdough bread, whole strawberries & a cordial glass of Moscato wine - the sweetness of the wine goes so well with the Romano cheese and strawberries (you can also have fresh strawberries with a glass of Moscato for dessert!)
