Vidya Balan fans got a huge jolt on Tuesday, all thanks to social networking sites. The actress was conveniently married off to UTV Motion Pictures CEO Siddharth Roy Kapoor.

All we can confirm is that the two took a trip out of the country as Siddharth does on every birthday, and spent the day together.

Rumours about Vidya and Kapoor dating each other have been doing the rounds since No One Killed Jessica. Speculations only increased when the two were spotted holidaying in Goa and then in Khandala.

Salman Khan’s Shera shakes a leg for ‘Bodyguard’ item song

First Salman Khan’s former girlfriend, actress Katrina Kaif, was roped in for the “Bodyguard” item number and now his security aide Shera has shot for the much-talked about song.
Shera will not only feature in “Bodyguard Item Song”, but he will also be seen dancing and grooving with Salman.
“Yes, I have shot for the song with Salman bhai and all this seems like a magic. Salman bhai is such a huge star and for someone like him showing such trust in me is nothing short of a miracle,” Shera, who has been with Salman for more than 15 years, said in a statement.
“In front of the whole world, he said that this is my most trusted man. Isn’t that great?
“This is the first time I will be in front of the camera with Salman bhai doing this item song. He just showed me some dance steps and I did a lot of rehearsal before the final take. It was scary and I was nervous. I will never forget this experience,” he added.
Recently Salman had also made Shera unveil the first look of “Bodyguard”.
The film, directed by Siddique and produced by Atul Agnihotri, is a remake of the director’s 2010 Malayalam film, “Bodyguard”. It is scheduled for an Aug 31 release.

‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ earns Rs. 108 crore after 10 days

“Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara”, a story of the adventurous road trip in Spain of three friends, is spinning magic at the box office – grossing Rs.108 crore in 10 days.
Released by Eros International, the film starring Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol, Kalki Koechlin and Katrina Kaif has earned Rs.86 crore at the domestic box office (net collection Rs.60 crore) and Rs.22 crore overseas.
The film released on over 1,800 screens.
“We are ecstatic with the audience as well as critics’ reactions to ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’. The superb run of the film so far, especially across multiplexes, has superseded all expectations and we are expecting the film to continue its excellent performance in the coming week as well,” Nandu Ahuja, senior vice president (Distribution), India, Eros International Media Ltd, said in a statement.

Zarine Khan enjoyed her ramp stint so much that she walked for two different jewellery houses at the same event.
Zarine, who was introduced by Salman Khan opposite him in “Veer”, was the showstopper for Divya K. Ahuja’s show Monday at the ongoing India International Jewellery Week (IIJW), and Tuesday too the actress walked the ramp for Dwarkadas Chandumal Jewellers.
“The piece I was wearing yesterday had its own uniqueness and this has its own. I like both the designers, so I walked for both,” Zarine told reports here.
Explaining the piece she was wearing for Tuesday’s show, the actress said: “I feel very beautiful wearing it because it’s such a grand and opulent piece. It’s worth around Rs.1.75 crore. It’s a beautiful piece especially with the sapphire and as it is, blue is my favourite colour, so I love it.”
The 23-year-old was dressed in an Archana Kochar outfit, which was a blue corset and a colourful lehenga with thread embroidery.

Actress Katrina Kaif,who will celebrate her 27th birthday on July 16, has denied media reports suggesting that she is going to have a big party this year after a gap of three years.
One may remember that in 2008, it was at Kat's birthday bash that the infamous fight between actors Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan took place. Talking about her plans, Kat, who was in the capital recently for a Gitanjali event, said, "I haven't planned anything yet. But there are no plans of throwing a big bash. My movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is releasing on July 15, and most likely, I will be busy promoting it.

After toning down Hrithik-Katrina's sizzling chemistry for a song in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, director Zoya is acting prudish again. Buzz is that she is planning to cut the steamy kiss between the duo.

Apparently the kiss is three-minutes long and is an essential part of the script. Revealing the nature of the scene, Mid Day quotes an insider: "After a severe exchange of words, Hrithik's character Arjun leaves in a Buick. Katrina (Laila) chases him on her bike. Stopping his car, she forces him out and pinning him on the bonnet, kisses him. And it's a rather long scene, about three minutes long."

"That's why Zoya is finding it difficult to decide on how much of the kiss to retain and how much to leave out," the source says.

But Zoya is still in a dilemma, which emerged after seeing their chemistry in the Ek Junoon track.

Katrina"When they saw the first cut of the song shot during the Spanish Tomatina festival, Zoya felt that the chemistry between the two actors was too much for a group song," continues the source.

Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan has showered praises on his “RA.One” co-star Kareena Kapoor for her hard work and sincerity in completing the shooting in time.
“Finished the last few bits and pieces of ‘RA.One’ with Kareena. Want to thank her for working so hard and fast…she was such a sport. Hope we haven’t tanned her too much in the hot sun,” Shah Rukh posted on his Twitter page.
The actors were busy shooting portions of the film in Hyderabad. “RA.One” is a much-awaited superhero film, in which Kareena plays Shah Rukh’s love interest.
The movie is set for release on Diwali.

Salman to co-produce sequels to Chillar Party

They say when Salman Khan decides to do some thing, he puts his heart and soul into it. Well the same is the case with the film Chillar Party. The film, which released earlier this month, opened to rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. Bollywood Hungama has now learnt that Salman is keen on producing not one but two sequels to the film.

Speaking to Vikas Bahl, we are told, "Chillar Party opened so well that we have decided to make 2 sequels to the film. Like before, Salman will be co-producing the film along with UTV. But right now we have just finished writing the script and are currently working on the screenplay for both."

Further on the sequels, Vikas adds, "Chillar Party has since become a brand name so the sequels will be one where the entire gang decides to take Fatka to school along with all the other slum kids, while the second portrays the gang that has become famous the nation over and has now been selected as the think tank for the Olympic squad."

As for the cast of each of the films, Vikas says, "As you know children grow very rapidly, though I would like to keep the same cast, we will need to see whether they have outgrown their roles by the time we are done writing the screenplay."

Ra.1 is produced by Gauri and Shahrukh Khan, and features SRK in a superhero avatar G.One. The hotly anticipated sci-fi flick is expected to be the biggest release at Diwali this year.

Per reports Star TV has agreed to part with Rs.350 million for the satellite TV rights of the film; Salman Khan’s Bodyguard, Ajay Devgn’s Singam and Ranbir Kapoor’s Rockstar are the other films that Star TV recently acquired the rights for.

T-Series has reportedly paid Rs.150 million for the exclusive music rights of the film, and with the Senegalese American R&B singer Akon signing the headlining item number Wanna be my chammak challo, the movie’s soundtrack seems a certain bet for T-Series. A version of the song was leaked online and became an instant hit; the Ra.One team claims that the final version is much better.

Katrina Kaif has always had a long-standing desire of contributing in some way to a film’s post-production. Well, her wish has been fulfilled, thanks to Farhan Akhtar.

Katrina and Farhan became friends while filming for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. She was particularly impressed by Farhan’s multiple talents: he is an actor, he has already directed a few films, and he can sing. Katrina, too, wanted to try her hand at something other than acting; Farhan helped fulfil that wish.

While editing Shahrukh Khan’s next film Don 2, which Farhan has directed, Farhan let Katrina edit a small portion.

Katrina did well and edited the portion and was ‘thrilled’ after having done so.
