What is socialistic economy

A socialistic economy indicates an economic system where the main control of economic activities are under a central authority and the factors of production such as land, labor, capital, and organization are under the control of the government.

The Proponents of socialistic economics are Karl Marx, the father of German scientific socialism, and philosopher and thinker Friedrich Engels. After the Russian Revolution in 1917, under the leadership of Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanat (Lenin), socialism was first established in Russia. According to Nobel laureate American economist Paul A Samuelson, “A Socialistic economy is an economy in which society owns the means of production other than labor.” North Korea, China, Vietnam, Cuba, and Eastern Europe (Poland, Hungary, Romania) are included in Socialistic economical countries.

Characteristics of a Socialistic Economy

The main features of a directive or socialist economy are discussed below-

1. State Ownership of Resources:

State ownership remains on Land, Factories, Mines, and Other Resources in a Socialist Economy. In this case, there is no private ownership of assets.

2. Class Exploitation Absent:

As wealth is owned by the state or collectively by society, the working class is not exploited.

3. Absence of free competition in the market:

In a socialist economy, prices are not determined by competition between supply and demand. The price of each product is fixed by the central authority.

We can make our profile first and then enter into the online community. It is like representing ourselves before the digital world, which is technology based. Instead, if we are interested, we can also look into others' profiles as per our wish. It is elementary for any user. We can do many refreshing activities by using social media. Such as these media allow us to upload photos and multimedia content and modify our profiles.

Moreover, there are some measures also which provide us privacy protection also. It causes dangers; strangers can take advantage of them and trap them easily. After that, they can be kidnapped, and the strangers send threatening messages to their parents wanting money. That's why parents should spend enough time with their children, especially with teenagers.

4. Victims of prolonged cyber-bullying :

By using social media, when someone shares false information, embarrassing messages, or videos with a specific person, it is called cyberbullying. Especially students become the worst sufferers of this evil deed. They suffer from psychosocial issues such as depression, isolation, loneliness, stress, and anxiety and can even commit suicide. Sometimes they become the victims of prolonged cyberbullying.

5. Negatively affect student's self-esteem :

At present, girls follow some celebrities on Facebook and want to be slim, beautiful, and attractive like them. As a result, when they cannot be successful in being like the celebrity, they get depressed and feel inferior to them. They start copying those celebrities, and this imitation can negatively affect their self-respect. They demean themselves by doing these activities. It also hampers their studies. When they can not make a good result by getting involved in these activities, they are also insulted by their teachers, friends, and parents. Thus they fall apart and hamper their studies as well as their lives also. Sometimes it can be the reason for their committing suicide.

যেমনঃ বাঘে মহিষে এক ঘাটে জল খায়। এখানে, বাক্যে কে বা কারা দ্বারা প্রশ্ন করলে উত্তর হয় বাঘে মহিষে।তাহলে বাক্যে কর্তৃকারক বাঘে মহিষে।

২) কর্মকারকঃ কী বা কাকে দ্বারা প্রশ্ন করলে , যে উত্তর পাওয়া যায় তাই কর্মকারক।

“ঘুমিয়ে আছে শিশুর পিতা সব শিশুরই অন্তরে অর্থাৎ শিশুরাই আগামী দিনের ভবিষ্যৎ। আজ যারা শিশু আগামী দিনে তাদের ওপরই ন্যস্ত হবে দেশ পরিচালনার গুরুদায়িত্ব। কিন্তু নানা কারণে শিশুরা আজ উপযুক্ত পরিচর্যা থেকে বঞ্চিত। জীবিকার প্রয়ােজনে তারা বাধ্য হচ্ছে শ্রমদানে। বর্তমানে শিশুদের সুন্দর শৈশব ও বিকশিত জীবনের সবচেয়ে বড় বাধা এ শিশুশ্রম। পরিসংখ্যান অনুযায়ী, বাংলাদেশের আনুমানিক শ্রমশক্তির শতকরা ১৫ ভাগই শিশু। শিশুদের এ বিরাট অংশ শ্রমদান করতে বাধ্য হয় আর্থসামাজিক পরিস্থিতির কারণে। এ দেশের শতকরা ৪০ ভাগ মানুষ দারিদ্র্যসীমার নিচে বসবাস করে। এসব মানুষ বাধ্য হয়ে বাড়তি উপার্জনের জন্য তাদের সন্তানদের ঝুকিপূর্ণ নানা কাজে নিয়ােজিত করে। রাজনৈতিক বিপর্যয়, সাম্প্রদায়িকতা, উদ্বাস্তু জীবনের ছিন্নমূলতা, পিতামাতার নৃশংস আচরণ, পিতামাতার পঙ্গুত্ব ইত্যাদি কারণে শিশুশ্রমের প্রবণতা দিন দিন বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে। শিশুশ্রমের কারণে বিদ্যালয়ে ভর্তি হয়েও অর্ধেকের বেশি শিশু অকালে ঝরে পড়ে। অর্থাৎ শিশুশিক্ষার সাথে শিশুশ্রমের একটি বিপরীতমুখী সম্পর্ক রয়েছে। আবার শিশুরা কর্মক্ষেত্রে যে ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ কাজ করে, তা তাদের বিকাশকে বাধাগ্রস্ত করে। ফলে তারা কম বয়সে বিভিন্ন জটিল রোগে আক্রান্ত হয়। তারা যেমন তাদের প্রাপ্য অধিকার থেকে বঞ্চিত হচ্ছে, তেমনি জাতি ধীরে ধীরে অন্ধকারের দিকে ধাবিত হচ্ছে। তাই শিশুশ্রম বন্ধের জন্য আইন প্রণয়ন ও তা বাস্তবায়নের পাশাপাশি শিশুবান্ধব সামাজিক কল্যাণমূলক কর্মসূচি গ্রহণ করতে হবে। তাহলেই শিক্ষিত ও সচেতন নতুন প্রজন্ম গড়ে উঠবে।ফলে, তারা দেশ গঠনে অগ্রগণ্য ভূমিকা রাখতে পারবে।

বইমেলা হচ্ছে একটি প্রদর্শনী যেখানে বিভিন্ন ধরনের বই প্রদর্শিত ও বিক্রি হয়। বর্তমানে এটি খুব জনপ্রিয় হয়ে উঠেছে। এ বছর একুশে বইমেলা পরিদর্শন করতে পেরে, আমি নিজেকে খুব ভাগ্যবান মনে করি। প্রতিবছর আমাদের ভাষা আন্দোলনের সংগ্রাম ও ত্যাগের কথা মনে করিয়ে দেয়ার জন্য একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারি উপলক্ষে মেলাটি অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। মেলাটি বাংলা একাডেমী কর্তৃক আয়োজন করা হয়। আমি আমার কতিপয়। বন্ধু নিয়ে সেখানে গিয়েছিলাম। যখন আমি মেলার প্রধান ফটকে প্রবেশ করলাম, আমি একটি ভিন্ন পরিবেশ প্রত্যক্ষ করি। আমি সকল প্রকার বই যেমন- রপকথা, পাঠ্যবই, নাটক, শিশু পাঠ, রেফারেন্স বই, ইতিহাস, গল্পগ্রন্থ, কাব্যগ্রন্থ প্রভৃতি দেখতে পেলাম। সকল বয়স এবং শ্রেণির নারীপুরুষ এবং শিশু সেখানে জমায়েত হয়েছিল। আমি একটি বইয়ের দোকান থেকে আমার কিছু প্রিয় বই কিনলাম। সন্ধ্যায় অনেক কবি, ঔপন্যাসিক, লেখক মেলাটি পরিদর্শন করতে এসেছিলেন। মেলার মূল প্রাঙ্গণের বাইরে রাস্তার পাশে অন্যান্য আকর্ষণীয় জিনিসপত্রও বিক্রি হচ্ছিল। মেলায় সেমিনার ও বই বিষয়ক সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠানও অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। এই ধরনের সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান অনেককে বই আকর্ষণীয় করে এবং এ জ্ঞানকে প্রসারিত করে।এরূপ একটি মেলা পরিদর্শন করতে পেরে আমি খুবই আনন্দিত হয়েছিলাম। সেখানে আমি বেশ কিছু নতুন অভিজ্ঞতা অর্জন করেছি। ভবিষ্যতে আমি। আবারও অমর একুশে গ্রন্থমেলাতে যাওয়ার ইচ্ছা পােষণ করি।

স্বাধীন সার্বভৌম বাংলাদেশ গড়তে মুক্তিযুদ্ধের চেতনা মূলমন্ত্র হিসেবে কাজ করেছিল। এই চেতনা হৃদয়ে ধারণ করেই বাঙালি জাতি পাকিস্তানি হানাদার বাহিনীর বিরুদ্ধে রুখে দাঁড়ায়। তাদের আকাঙ্ক্ষা ছিল বাংলাদেশকে সুখী-সমৃদ্ধশালী, উদার গণতান্ত্রিক দেশ হিসেবে গড়ে তুলবে। যেখানে মানুষ ধর্ম-বর্ণ নির্বিশেষে সুখে-শান্তিতে বসবাস করবে। মুক্তিযুদ্ধের চেতনার মূল ভিত্তিই ছিল দেশপ্রেম। পাকিস্তানি হায়েনাদের কাল হাত ভেঙে দেওয়ার জন্য বাঙালি জাতি দৃঢ় সংকল্প নিয়েছিল। তাদের ইচ্ছা ছিল স্বাধীন ধর্ম নিরপেকষ একটি দেশ গড়ার। বাঙালির আশা ও প্রত্যয়ের থেকেই মহান মুক্তিযুদ্ধের উদ্ভব ঘটে। ১৯৭১ সালে গোটা জাতি মুক্তিযুদ্ধে ঝাঁপিয়ে পড়েছিল। লক্ষ প্রাণের বিনিময়ে অর্জন করেছিল বহু আকাঙ্ক্ষিত স্বাধীনতা। কিন্তু দুঃখজনক হলেও সত্য, স্বাধীনতা লাভের পর পরাজিত পাকিস্তানিরা বিভিন্ন অপশক্তির মাধ্যমে বাঙালির মুক্তিযুদ্ধের চেতনাকে নস্যাৎ করতে তৎপর হয়ে ওঠে। তারা রাষ্ট্রের মূল স্তম্ভ গুলোকে বিকশিত হতে বাধা প্রদান করে। স্বাধীনতার শত্রু এদেশের কুচক্রী মহল একের পর এক ষড়যন্ত্র শুরু করে। তারা পুনরায় পাকিস্তানি ভাবাদর্শে বাংলাদেশকেসাম্প্রদায়িক রাষ্ট্র হিসেবে গড়ে তুলতে চায়। বারবার সামরিক শাসন প্রতিষ্ঠার মাধ্যমে গণতন্ত্রকে বাতিল করতে চায়। সব অপচেষ্টার অবসান ঘটিয়ে ১৯৯০ সালে গণ-অভ্যুত্থান হয়। এই গণঅভ্যুত্থানের মাধ্যমে বাংলাদেশে পুনরায় গণতান্ত্রিক পথে নতুন যাত্রা শুরু করে। বাঙালি জাতি আবার মুক্তিযুদ্ধের চেতনায় দেশ গড়ার প্রত্যয়ে আশাবাদী হয়ে ওঠে। সেই চেতনা ধারণ করে দেশ ও জাতি এগিয়ে চলছে উন্নয়নের দিকে। এই অগ্রযাত্রা বিঘ্নিত করার সকল ষড়যন্ত্র মোকাবেলা করে বাঙালি জাতিকে এগিয়ে যেতেই হবে। কেননা, মুক্তিযুদ্ধের চেতনাই বাঙালি জাতির মুক্তির অন্যতম হাতিয়ার।
