My name is frankie and since the very early years of my life I grew up wearing stockings and pantyhose as part of my daily outfit for going to school and for going out on special occasions (weddings,parties,clubs etc). I realized how important it is to have the right kind of hosiery for the right occasion.

Fashion Hosiery emphasizes the attractiveness of a woman. It makes legs look smooth, silky and extremely sexy. On the more human side,

The term originated as the collective term for products of which a maker or seller is termed a hosier; and those products are also known generically as hose. The size for me is perfect, breathable, very light, shimmery, and i think its pretty durable as well. Moreover, there is reinforced toe instead of sandal one if u prefer them like that. These are nice sheer hosiery nylons that don't run easily and arereasonably cheap, and if you are not looking for something really fancy. . I was not expecting much for the price i paid for them, but was pleasantly surprised by the quality.

Some things to look out for: Sheer hosiery can run like crazy. You have to be careful when you put them on and they can then be ruined in a second. This is both expensive and annoying. Opaques last far longer and are far less easy to damage. Also, if you have forgotten to shave your legs for a couple of days, opaques cover a multitude of sins. Sheers show everything like your beautiful legs.

Some people say chivalry is dead. Well many are killing whatever is left of it. Nowadays it is so important how your boyfriend or your spouse thinks about what you are wearing and what you buy in the fashion stores especially when it come to lingerie and hosiery shopping.

I for one love wearing hosiery...either pantyhose or thigh high's. I agree with you that they make legs look better and who doesn't want that. I must be one of the few because I don't consider them to be uncomfortable....they really make my legs feel good. Maybe because I mostly go shopping for wear better lingerie and hosiery brands (L'eggs, Donna Karan, Victoria's Secret).

My husband often comes store shopping with me for lingerie and hosiery and he is one that does not give me a hard time about caring what I wear. I think it is very nice of him. Moreover, girls and women love it when a guy shows real interest in the way she looks, feels and what she wears. If you go hosiery shopping with him and he remarks 'my gosh, you would looking amazing in this!' and recommends you a nice dress or hosiery you will be sure to blush. A girl just loves it.

I think that men can be a great help sometimes on the choice of lingerie and hosiery women tend to purchase but they have to really participate in the shopping and not just say superficial things like 'omg omg omg. That is totally your color!' On the contrary it has to be a sincere point of view based on what really looks good on you and what is really comfortable.

When shopping for lingerie and hosiery, is not as simple as it seems. I mean you can choose which type, style you like and then read the size chart and get the right size and you should be good. You may even have to buy a couple different ones until you get what you like and feel comfortable in, because I do not care what they say, one size does not fit all.

well, I am not the MOST sensible of women when it comes to shopping for clothes, but for example I found velvet hold ups that look lovely and comfy and warm, but i also wanted stripey pirate opaque hold ups and some replacement black opaque hold ups with red bows at the top. The next thing you know, I am spending a lot of money on lingerie and hosiery, with the idea they will keep me warm this winter well, that is what I tell myself anyway and it all seems a bit ridiculous my hubby says so he tries to keep me in line.

And sure the bottom line is, there are many men you may meet who will tell you that they have a preference to whether or not you wear lingerie and hosiery, and there is no way you could convince me that there are more in the majority who prefer bare legs. I understand the needs for comfort, but if you never get used to heels they'll probably always hurt like a lot and this is what us women have to bear for the sake of wearing fashion hosiery.

After wearing them my conclusion is unless you belong to the category of miss long legs (like those of Taylor Momsen for instance) you might make a mockery of these tights.

There is something about a woman who wears fashion hosiery. An air of sophistication perhaps? Definitely sexy beyond belief. Women who wear pantyhose or stockings are usually quite sophisticated, very particular about their legs, and are more inclined to be shaved, creamed and pedicured than the bare leg prep types. The reason they wear stockings is to showcase their legs and make them look even better.

There are so many women that assume that women who wear fashion hosiery do so because they do not shave regularly and I am so tired of reading that the women who wear nylons do so to hide unpedicured feet and unshaven legs.

Some women wear $300.00 suits and $200.00 shoes to work every day, and the fashion hosiery they wear bring an air of sophistication and professionalism, that exposing your freshly painted toes will never have. They have payed attention to the type of leg creams, shoes, including sandals, and the kind of hosiery to put on.

Sometimes my legs are mildly pricy, when I plan on getting fashion hosiery to wear. I always itch after I shave for some reason. Some girls hate the way their legs feel after they do not shave their legs for a while. you can see the hair if you do not shave so if I were them I would go ahead and shave. As for the itching you could try putting lotion on afterwards this should help.

I wear fashion hosiery to work every day, and although I don't spend $20.00 a pair, I do spend $11.00. I go to the spa every 2 weeks, and always get a pedicure and manicure, along with a ton of other goodies that are included in the package. I will go bare legged when out casually in shorts and sandals, but its when I put on my stockings that I get all the leg and shoe compliments. I have to tell you that bare feet, unless it is next to a pool, or on a beach, are not that appealing to most individuals. And bare legs in a formal setting are unwelcome.

To those of you that do indulge....just know there are those of us out here that do appreciate it. The truth is I have found women who wear nylons are impeccable with their hygiene and fashion sense. It is those who go around in cheap pantyhose that think they can go for three days without shaving, and because they are too cheap to purchase a good pair of fashion hosiery in the form of pantyhose or stockings, and also cannot afford to maintain a good pedicure, and certainly won't take the time to do it themselves.

What to Wear: Pantyhose or Knee high Stockings with pant suit ?

They have searched many stores with no luck, and it does not matter whether they are pantyhose or knee high stockings as long as they cover their legs in the right way.

First of all, wearing any close toed shoes barefoot is out of question. What looks better typically depends on what one is used to. Some wear knee high stockings, and others prefer pantyhose with their pant suit which are better (or worse) in terms of shaping the body. I can't tell in the mirror, but would others be able to tell I'm wearing something that is tightening one's shape? Or should one just stick to the knee highs?

Normal pantyhose will not do much to shape your body, unless maybe you wear heavy support pantyhose, which isn't very comfortable. What to wear under pants is a matter of personal preference. I would go for pantyhose over knee high stockings, since they make the pants fir more comfortably, slide on and off easier, and prevent the pants from sticking to your legs when it is warm. As an added bonus it is a very enjoyable feeling to have your legs in sheer smooth pantyhose.

It really comes down to your choices and level of comfort, since people are not going to notice if it's pantyhose or knee high stockings when it comes to your pant suits. Pantyhose doesn't really do anything to tighten your shape, unless you went for the control top pantyhose. But it does have the ability to enhance the look of your legs when you do get to wear a dress or skirt along with a pair of heels.

I've noticed a difference when I wear pantyhose with my pant suits. On top of that they keep my pants from sticking to my legs throughout the day. Wearing pantyhose will help tight pants slip on better if you wear them without panties no panty lines and control top will suck in the tummy some which in some cases could be very welcoming and no comparison to knee high stockings.

On a personal note, if I wear pants, I wear pantyhose with no undies so I have no panty lines, although I never use control top because I actually enjoy breathing. Pantyhose vs knee high stockings? Nobody will know what you have on under your pants, so ultimately it's personal preference. Don't go too much crazy over it.

As of late, there has been a big discussion about patterned tights being too complex design wise. It is not so much colored tights that we should be wondering about but how to wear them with the rest of the attire. I think you should keep your outfit simple, and your length short, and make the tights your personal statement. I also think any bold colored tights or patterned tights tend to look at their best when using a tone-on-tone technique, or pairing with a neutral color such as: black, grey, navy or even black.

And to date I have got got about twenty different pairs ranging from blue, red, purple, you name it. I think tights look very good with a fall/winter skirt. I usually wear my blue ones with a almost-to-the-knee winter skirt and its very pretty.
