रागनी: केवल लोक-मनोरंजन नहीं

हरयाणवी रागनी को प्रायः लोकगीत अथवा लोक-मनोरंजन की परंपरा से जोड़ा जाता है। किंतु रागनियों के विस्तृत अध्ययन से इनमें भाषा, काव्य-विधान, मुहावरेदार अभिव्यक्ति, लय, रूपक, दार्शनिक चिंतन, नैतिक प्रश्न, सामाजिक अनुभव और सांस्कृतिक स्मृति के अनेक स्तर दिखाई देते हैं।

इसी दृष्टि से HRSDC रागनी को साहित्यिक, भाषिक और सांस्कृतिक evidence के रूप में दस्तावेजीकृत करता है।

73 चयनित रागनियाँ

इस corpus में HRSDC–0001 से HRSDC–0073 तक 73 चयनित हरयाणवी रागनियाँ सम्मिलित हैं।

प्रत्येक रागनी में मूल हरयाणवी पाठ को केंद्र में रखते हुए उसके साथ literary English translation प्रस्तुत किया गया है। अनुवाद का उद्देश्य केवल शब्द-दर-शब्द अर्थ देना नहीं, बल्कि मूल रचना के अर्थ, भाव, बिंब, स्वर और साहित्यिक spirit को व्यापक पाठक-वर्ग तक पहुँचाना है।

जहाँ आवश्यक है, वहाँ scholarly commentary, Pingal एवं poetic observations, selected language notes और literary assessment भी दिए गए हैं।

परंपरा और समकालीनता

HRSDC की एक महत्वपूर्ण विशेषता यह है कि इसमें पारंपरिक रचनाओं के साथ समकालीन काव्य-स्वरों को भी स्थान दिया गया है।

हरियाणवी रागनी केवल एक लोक–गीत शैली नहीं, बल्कि जन–जीवन की धड़कन है। यह वह विधा है जिसमें शब्द गाए जाते हैं, भाव मंच पर जीवित होते हैं, और संस्कृति स्वर बनकर बहती है। परंतु इस पूरी रचनात्मक प्रक्रिया की एक अदृश्य, किंतु अत्यंत सशक्त नींव होती है—पिंगल शास्त्र।

जब रागनी में पिंगल का समुचित प्रयोग होता है, तब वह केवल कविता नहीं रहती—वह लयबद्ध अनुभव बन जाती है।

पिंगल शास्त्र क्या है?

पिंगल शास्त्र भारतीय छंदशास्त्र की वह प्राचीन विधा है, जो काव्य–रचना को मात्राओं, लघु–दीर्घ वर्णों, यति–गति और तुकांत संतुलन के आधार पर संरचित करती है।

चाहे “किस्सा भगत पूरणमल” का गहन वर्णन हो या वीर रस की गर्जना—
पिंगल ही उसे अनुशासित और प्रभावी बनाता है।
