Blogshares is the fantasy stock market for blog owners. When I first signed up, I had no idea what it was really about. Now I do and it's great! The concept of Blogshares is to earn enough chips and blogshare money to be able to get more links back to your blog from other member blogs. Jack Humphrey is always providing some good advice when it comes to Web 2.0 and building links. He said to check out a different kind of web 2.0 link building technique started by Alex over at HowtoSpoter.com. This is a great chance to get incoming links if you do it right.

This is a very easy technique that I never would have even thought of. By reviewing other helpful sites, you're able to discover more information that will be useful for yourself and also that you'll be able to share with others. By sharing with others, they will click on your link which will bring you more valuable links back to your website or blog.

The key is to copy and paste each of the website reviews below in a post on your blog. Simply replace the "reviewed by" with your name that includes a link to your blog or website. Below are the list of sites that were included in the list that I came across. Before I added my name to the "reviewed by" area, I actually visited the website and came up with my own review of the site, to keep things honest. The process still works the same if it's done the right way.

We all know that link popularity is one of the most important things to have when it comes to trying to get a higher pagerank. Link popularity can be achieved in several ways, but one of the easiest ways would probably be to focus on getting one way links back to your site. You can also do a link exchange with other sites, but you should be sure that the site you would like to exchange links with is in the same niche as your website or blog.

These are just a few websites where you will find many helpful resources for your blog. These are website where you can exchange links and find useful tools for your website or blog.

1. Infowizards - This is a huge link directory with websites that are open for link exchange in every catagory. All you do is search the catagory that best fits your site or blog, find sites for link exchanges and submit your request.
Here is where you can also check your google pagerank and view your link popularity among the most popular search engines.

2. Linkmetro - This site will allow you to perform link exchange request with other websites and blogs. You can easily sort the sites by pagerank to ensure that you have the opportunity to exchange links with a site that has a higher pagerank. This will increase your pagerank and popularity with the search engines.

3. Businesskeywords -This is where you can list your site based on popular keywords.

4. 4Greatbuys - If you have a product to sell or just want to have links to your site, this is a great place to do so.

5. Zenithdesign - This is a link directory that will give you a free one way link to your website or blog.

6. Freeviral - This site places the link to your site in a list of websites and blogs that are viewed by internet users for at least 30 seconds. There's a new word in the online world's that's gaining a lot of attention. Linkbaiting has fast become a buzz word to describe a host of practices that can help publishers increase their incoming traffic.

The word linkbaiting is relatively new, but the practices it now defines are not. The term itself is used to describe a number of measures that publishers take to gain incoming links to their websites or blogs. Some of these measures are considered rather legitimate, but not all are. A few of the practices that fall under this new term's focus include creating awards programs or contests, writing comments on high-traffic blogs or forums, giving other publishers tools or links to your site, creating high-quality content and so on.

The word itself might have a shady rap in the web world, but many of the measures involved are not bad. It's a simple fact that most publishers enjoy earning incoming links since they can increase traffic. In turn, the traffic spikes can boost a site's money-making abilities. Due to this, many SEO businesses are even providing linkbaiting services to help their clients gain links. The reality is linkbaiting in and of itself isn't good or bad... it's all in how it's used.

In spite of its rocky reputation, linkbaiting has become a fairly popular practice. The reasons for this are many. The biggest is the traffic and potential income gains that can be realized. The second factor involves this practice's ability to help increase a site's page ranking. Since part of the page ranking formula involves incoming links, this practice can be very valuable.

Linkbaiting has become a "bad word" in many circles, but the basic concept behind it is really simple. Those who tend to do best with the practice are publishers that actually provide their readers with something they want.

While on my quest to get a higher pagerank with Google, I came across this very useful blog. LinkMeUpScotty is a blog which offers to exchange links with you so that you can get a higher Technorati Rank and a better Google pagerank. All you have to do in return is write a post on your blog about LinkMeUpScotty. Once you've posted to your blog just leave a comment on his blog about your post. In return, he promises to write a post on his blog that will include the link to your blog. This seems to be a great way to earn more traffic to your blog and also become better know with Google.

After almost three weeks, I've finally been paid by Bloggerwave. I wrote two post on my blog and was paid $20.00 for both of them. Once I logged into my Bloggerwave account today, I noticed that my blogger dashboard showed that I had been paid $20.00 for my two posts. I was very excited to see this. Once I checked my paypal account, I saw where the funds had been transfered to my account earlier today. What a great way to earn some extra money on the internet. I'm on a quest to find other ways to earn from my blog. My main goal right now is to get my blog included in the Google Search engine. Once I have achieved this, I know that I will be able to earn even more from my blog. Many of the paid to post to your blog sites require that your blog be listed with Google. This would be my first piece of advice. Once you've started your blog, submit it to the Google search engine to get started. Also, you should list your blog with as many directories as possible. So far I've made over $200.00 within less than two months writing articles with Associated Content.
