Quando una persona clicca un annuncio più volte prima della scadenza della sessione Google Adwords registra tutti i click, mentre Google Analytics registra una singola visita&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;Un utente clicca il tuo annuncio e poi in un secondo momento visita il tuo sito usando il segnalibro salvato sul suo browser. In questo caso Google analytics attribuirà al singolo click 2 visite perché tiene in memoria la provenienza dell'utente&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;Un utente clicca sul tuo annuncio, ma blocca il caricamento della pagina cliccando sul link ad una seconda pagina oppure cliccando il tasto stop sul browser. In questo caso lo script di Analytics non riesce ad inviare i dati al server, ma Google Adwords registra il il click&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;Google Adwords filtra in automatico eventuali click fraudolenti al fine di fatturare all'utente solo click validi. In questo caso Google analytics mostrerà le visite relative per fornire all'amministratore i dati di traffico completi&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;Chiaramente i rapporti di Google Adwords e i dati di Google Analytics forniscono informazioni completamente diverse. Questo non significa che non siano utilizzabili insieme. Scegliamo le keywords, il costo per click massimo: avviamo la campagna.&lt;br /&gt;Il primo giorno tutto bene, poi lentamente il cpc minimo continua ad aumentare raggiungendo la cifra spaventosa di 8 euro a click.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;La prima reazione è insultare gli ingegneri Google. Attività completamente inutile, se escludiamo il sollievo momentaneo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In realtà gli ingegneri Google stanno comunicando con noi: la campagna ha una qualità bassa, molto bassa per non dire pessima.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Adwords è un sistema che ha guadagnato la sua fama grazie ai complessi algoritmi costitutivi. Tale segreta complessità permette alla piattaforma di fornire agli utenti pubblicità sempre strettamente correlate alla ricerca da loro effettuata (bhe diciamo quasi sempre).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Il CPC minimo è stato fissato ad 8 euro perché la nostra campagna ha un quality score molto basso. Il quality score è dato da numerose variabili, molte tenute segrete. Uno degli elementi che concorre a generare il quality score per la nostra campagna sono le landing page, le pagine di arrivo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Se il nostro cpc minimo è 8 euro sicuramente la landing page da noi scelta e sbagliata: non ha nessun legame con le keywords scelte.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3 regole d'oro per le landing pages:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1) La home non è quasi mai la migliore pagina di arrivo&lt;br /&gt;2) Una pagina di arrivo costituita da sole immagini è sempre una pessima landing page (i motori di ricerca non sono in grado di distinguere il contenuto di un immagine)&lt;br /&gt;3) Il contenuto della landing page deve essere sempre legato alle keywords scelte per portare l'utente alla pagina.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Poi concorrono molti altri elementi a deteminare il quality score. Difficilmente tale situazione è da imputare ad un malfunzionamento del sistema od ad un bug. E' stato commesso qualche errore nelle impostazioni delle campagne.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A determinare tale situazione è il &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;pessimo quality score&lt;/span&gt; attribuito da Google alla nostra campagna. In particolare alla qualità delle nostre pagine di destinazione: la loro &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;pertinenza&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;L'errore più comune è far puntare tutte le creatività alla homepage. La home può essere valutata come la pagina più importante di un sito, ma questo non la fa automaticamente diventare la più pertinente per tutti i prodotti offerti dall'azienda: diversificate le landing page.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Il secondo più comune errore è scegliere pagine &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;costituite da sole immagini&lt;/span&gt; o &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;da sole animazioni flash&lt;/span&gt;. I motori di ricerca non riescono a leggere il contenuto di un immagine, riconosco solo ed esclusivamente il testo. Poco importa se la vostra azienda è leader nella vendita di un prodotto. Se la vostra campagna adwords punta ad una pagina di sole immagini per il sistema quella pagina sarà una pagina vuota: in breve una pagina non pertinente.&lt;br /&gt;Poco diversa la situazione con le animazioni flash. Esse sono mal digerite da adwords, riesce a leggere qualcosa al suo interno, ma molto poco: in breve una pagina con pertinenza molto molto bassa.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Utilizzate il testo. Spiegate con chiarezza i vostri prodotti, non copiate le loro caratteristiche e poco altro. Esso viene calcolato utilizzando diversi fattori e misura quanto è rilevante una keyword con la creatività associata e con i termini di ricerca utilizzati dagli utenti.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Esso viene utilizzato per determinare l'&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;offerta minima &lt;/span&gt;di una parola chiave, la &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;posizione di un annuncio&lt;/span&gt; con targeting per parole chiave in una pagina dei risultati di ricerca, l'&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;idoneita alla pubblicazione&lt;/span&gt; di un annunco con targeting per parole chiave su uno specifico sito di contenuti, o di un annuncio con targeting per posizionamento,  e la sua &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;posizione su tale sito&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Per ognuno degli ambiti sopracitati vengono presi in considerazioni diveri fattori:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Offerta minima:&lt;/span&gt; (&lt;a href="http://adwords.blogspot.com/2008/08/quality-score-improvements.html"&gt;aggiornamento&lt;/a&gt;: in queste settimane Google testando un nuovo metodo per calcolare il quality score dinamicamente ogni volta che viene effetuanta una ricerca. In questo modo lo script di tracking di analytics non funzionava.&lt;br /&gt;Ho risolto inserendo un elemento di pagina HTML/javascript. Poi troviamo home page ufficiale, la pagina relativa di wikipedia, seguiti da altri siti ai quali non saprei mettere in ordine di importanza. Le dichiarazioni del cantante a proposito della libertà della rete sono relegate alla &lt;a href="http://www.google.com/search?q=Elton+John&amp;amp;hl=en&amp;start=20&amp;amp;sa=N"&gt;3° pagina di Google,&lt;/a&gt; in fondo.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;La ricerca &lt;a href="http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&amp;q=Cosimo+mele&amp;amp;amp;btnG=Cerca&amp;amp;meta="&gt;Cosimo Mele&lt;/a&gt; non presenta grosse differenze tra le due versioni, quasi a sottolineare che la rete non avesse altre notizie sul parlamentare prima del fatto descritto all'interno dei risultati.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Gli esempi di Gramellini secondo me non sottolineano problemi negli algoritmi di Google, ma portano alla luce i problemi che ha "internet all'italiana". Le notizie contro la rete, che sottolineano la sua negatività e mostrano in modo negativo la libertà propria di internet hanno una risonanza incredibile, vengono messe in prima pagina e riprese dai naviganti, attribuendogli un'importanza che forse non meriterebbero.
