God Boxed In

    On a Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues, and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, "Woman, you are set free from your infirmity." Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God.

    Indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, the synagogue ruler said to the people, " There are six days for work. So come and be healed on those days, not on the Sabbath."

    The Lord answered him, " You hypocrites! Doesn't each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or donkey from the stall and lead it out to give it water? Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her"?

    When he said this, all his opponents were humiliated, but the people were delighted with all the wonderful things he was doing.

    But what glorifies God only infuriates the the synagogue official. To him, the service has been disrupted and the Sabbath dishonored. He rises in indignation to restore order and to make sure this breach of protocol doesn't set precedent. His words have an edge on them and come down sharply on the crowd.

    Wait a minute. Shouldn't he be rubbing his eyes rather than raising his voice? Does he somehow miss the miracle?

    No, he saw it. But his eyes were so fixed on formality and rules and time-honored traditions that he lost sight of the incredible display of power right before his eyes.

Why is it that so often the most religious are the most resistant to the power of God? Is their theology so neatly boxed that there is no room for miracles? Is their order of service so structured that there is no room to be suprised by the spontaneity of s supernatural God?

      No room.

Maybe that's the problem. Maybe that's why they close the door on the supernatural-----there's no room in the inn of their hearts for the birth of something unexpected from heaven.

“You want to build me a house? Forget it—I’m going to build you a house. The kingdom that I’m shaping here isn’t what you do for me but what I do through you. I’m doing the building here, not you. I’m not going to let you confuse things by launching a building operation of your own. If I let you fill Jerusalem with the sights and sounds of your building project—carpenters’ hammers, masons’ chisels, teamsters’ shouts— before long everyone will be caught up in what you are doing, and not attentive to what I am doing. This is a kingdom that we’re dealing with, and I am the king. I’ve gotten along without a so-called house for a long time now. Where did you ever come up with the idea that I need or want a house? If there’s any building to be done, I’m doing it. I’ve been working with you since your shepherd days, building a kingdom—a place where salvation and justice and peace can be realized. That’s what you’re here: to give visibility and representation to what I’m doing, not call attention to what you’re doing. We’ve just had one failure like that in Saul, and we’re not going to have another. There will come a time when it’s appropriate to build something like you have in mind—your son, in fact, will do it—but this isn’t the time. First we have to get the concept of my sovereignty established in the people’s imagination and practice, your kingship a witness to my kingship, not an obscuring of it. That’s the house I’m building—your kingship as witness and representation of my sovereignty. First things first” (2 Sam. 7:14-17 Message).

The Issue

    And there was a woman who had had a flow of blood for twelve years, And who had endured much suffering under [the hands of] many physicians, and had spent all the she had; and was no better but instead grew worse.
    She had heard the reports concerning Jesus, and she came up behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment, For she kept saying, If I only touch His garments, I shall be restored to health.
    And immediately her (flow of) blood was dried up at the source, and (suddenly) she felt in her body that she was healed of her (distressing) ailment.
    And Jesus, recognizing in Himself that the power proceeding Him had gone forth turned around immediately in the crowd, and said, Who touched my clothes? And the disciples kept saying to Him, You see the crowd pressing hard around you (from all sides), and You asked, who touched Me?
    But the woman, knowing what had been done for her, though alarmed and frightened and trembling, fell down before Him, and told Him the whole truth.
    And He said to her, Daughter, your faith [that is,your trust and confidence in Me, springing from faith in God] has restored you to health. Go in peace, and be continually healed and free from your (distressing bodily) disease.    Mark 5:25-34 Amplified Bible

God is still in the healing business, if you have done everything in the natural, utilized all means and funds available..... reach out to Jesus. Though the crowd may seem large He will hear you, you are not insignificant to Him.

Let Him say to you as he said to this woman "your faith has restored you to health, go in peace, and be continually healed and free from you disease".

Reach out today and be healed.

Honor Those Above

One of the core goals of my ministry is to reinstate the virtue of honor back into the body of Christ. And although I believe honor is something that we should give to everyone, including those beside us and below us, the most natural place for most of us to start is with the people above us.

My generation has done a phenomenal job at obliterating the concept of honor, especially in regards to those who hold positions of leadership. We have confused it with respect and come to believe it’s something we can withhold based on the performance or likeability of the person we’re ascribing it to.

But that’s not biblical honor. In the Bible, honor is weight. Honor is value. While respect must be earned, honor can be freely given from the heart based on the calling and potential God has placed inside of a person and the position God has given them in your life.

To show honor to leaders is to treat them as being special because in reality that’s what they are. God has placed them in a unique position over you. He has given them the responsibility of casting vision and coordinating the efforts of the people they lead to achieve it. And that includes yours.

What your leader needs and deserves then is for you to ascribe to them the weight God has already given them. To set them apart as special in your life and be willing to do whatever it takes to help them succeed. And you’ll find that by setting them up for success you’ll by extension be setting yourself up for success.

If you’re at a loss as far as what it looks like to practically honor those above you, ask yourself the following questions for a good start:
1. What is your leader’s favorite way to communicate?
-Adapt to it. Even if it’s not your favorite way to communicate.

2. What makes your leader’s day?
-Do it.

3. What does your leader dread?
-Nuke it before it ever gets to them.

4. What is the thing you can do for your leader that only you can do?
-Keep doing it and do it better.

5. What sets my leader back?

-Do everything in your power to make sure it doesn’t happen.
If you’re still struggling with honoring and serving those God has placed over you, one of the greatest things you may need to realize is that God hasn’t placed your leaders over you to make your vision come to pass. He has put you under them to make their vision come to pass. And God isn’t going to hold you accountable for their vision. He’s going to hold you accountable for your support of their vision.

Life at Nain

    Soon afterward, Jesus went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd went along with him. As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out------the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her. When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, "Don't cry."
    Then he went up and touched the coffin, and those carrying it stood still. He said, "Young man, I say to you, get up!" The dead man sat up and began to talk, Jesus gave him back to his mother.
    They were all filled with awe and praised God. "A great prophet has appeared among his people." This news about Jesus spread throughout Judea and the surrounding country.

Luke :7-11 NIV

    Nain was a thriving village, that sat on a rocky outcrop overlooking the valley of Jezreel. In spring the valley of Jezreel was abundant with grass, wildflowers and every breathe taken revealed the fruit trees in blossom.
    The windows heart however, sat in the valley of the dead of winter.
    Two losses had invaded her family. First the loss of her husband. And now her only son.
    She had faced uncertainy for years, her furture in ruins. And now she will have to face this alone. No husband or son to provide for her, she will become totally dependent on the generosity of others.
    No longer a husband to comfort her, when sadness and tears come in the night. Awakening to an empty bed every morning. No meals to prepare for. No one to share the holidays with, common days, or any other day for that matter. No husband to share the twilight years with. And no one to look after her in the Autumn years of her life.
    The only thing that remains is an empty house. A home that gave up years ago the hope of a returning husband coming home from work. And now, it waits no longer for that husband's son to come home.
    Sounds of conversation around the dinner table about the days events are silent. No laughter erupts in the home, no intimate conversations late at night with her husband. Only grief flowing from one room to another.
    All of her memories are now tied in a small bundle. These memories seemly not enough to warm her from this present loneliness, or to keep her warm in her old age.
    The coffin leads the procession to the cemetary outside of town. Following behind is the dazed and distraught mother, relatives, friends and mourners.
    As the crowd is leaving Nain, another crowd is entering. One crowd follows the coffin, the other crowd is following Jesus. The one crowd is overwhelmed with sorrow, grief and despair; the other, with hope overflowing.
    At the gate, Jesus followers stand aside for the funeral procession. Here at this point of intersection----- life and death meet. What spands these two valleys is a mothers torrent of tears, and unimaginable grief.
    The mothers heart is wrung with tears, and Jesus sees, every thought of the days events that had preoccupied Him flees. His whole attention focuses on this mother filled with grief.
    Jesus only, knows her desperation. Jesus feels the pain. Jesus sees her tears.
    And the mothers tears, are the flame that melts His heart.
    Jesus extends His hand to the coffin, the mourners stop. His concern is not that touching the coffin would render Him unclean under rabbinic law. His only concern, is for this grieving widow and mother.
                               "Don't cry"
    These words were not found in a counseling session or text book on helping those who are hurting. They came form a heart, like water seeping from cracks in a rock face, exploding with compassion. Jesus turns His attention to womans son.
                               "Young man, I say to you, get up"
    Only two words to the mother, eight to the son. But those words were enough, enough to pull the son from deaths grip, and place him in his mothers arms.
    As the young man rises he speaks, we are not sure of the words, but I am certain one of the first words from his mouth were, mother.
    The Saviors power is displayed. But something deeper, something under the surface occured at the meeting of life and death.
    A miracle was not asked for by the mother. Falling down at the Saviors feet, asking for her sons life did not happen. Great faith was not demonstrated by the grieving mother, as matter of fact, faith was the farthest thing from her mind, if at all. And as far as you and I know, she had never heard of Jesus.
    That is what is so incredible.
    There was no human intervention, no asking. This was not a class room to teach a lesson to the disciples. There wasn't even any thought of Christ diety to show skeptics the truth.
    This miracle was poured out from a heart of divine compassion. So free was the water of life. So pure from whence it came. So gentle were the hands that held this cup of living water, and brought it to the mothers lips.

I know It's Not Christmas

Luke 2:8-20

    Shepherds as evangelist? It was a job for which they had no training, no special calling, no organization backing them, and no tracts to leave behind when they left.

    The one thing they possessed, it was all they had, a divine encounter.

    They lived in an a camp outside Bethlehem. A shunned group because of their profession, were not allowed to observe the orthodox ritual of washings, so they were considered unclean. Because they were not taught in the Law, they were considered ignorant, and with know ties to the community, considered suspect.
    This knot of shepherds on the fringe of Jewish society spends the night atop a stone tower, a couple of them watching the flocks while the others are huddled around a fire, catching what sleep they can. Eusebius writes that this watch tower stood about a thousand paces from Bethlehem. Jewish tradition adds that the tower overlooked a special flock of sheep.

     Sheep set aside for sacrifices.

    To qualify as temple sacrifices, the animals had to be perfect without spot or blemish. They could have no broken bones and no scarred skin. One fall into a ravine, one encounter with a predator, rendered the sheep unfit for the altar, dropping it's premium as a sacrifice to the price of mere commodities----the going rate for wool, leather, and meat. To ensure a profit, the sheep had to be protected. That meant watching them day and night.
    This night, as the temperature drops, the men take refuge in the warmth of their sheepskin coats. Above them, the night is clear. The moon full and bright. The sky is studded with stars. and the air, pungent with the scent of sheep. Except for a few faraway bleats, the hillside is quiet. The fire is also quiet, the popping yellow blaze now whispering orangely among the embers. On top of the tower all that can be heard is an occasional crackle of conversation.
    The fire is almost out when suddenly the curtain of night is parted by an angel, spilling glory of heaven everywhere. the incandescent light wakens the men who are on their face, trembling, covering themselves with their coats.
    The appearance of the angel is terrifying, the utterance of his words are not. "Don't be afraid," he assures them, "I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people."
    From within their coats their eyes steal a glance. The angel smile, softening the lines on their squinted faces. "Today in the town of David a Savior has been born unto you; he is Christ the Lord."
    The shepherds could hardly believe their ears. Adjusting to the light, their eyes study the angel's face. And as if anticipating their question, the angel tells them how they will recognize this Savior: "You will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth and lying in a manger."
    The curtain of heaven opens wider, revealing a company of angels, their voices joining together in a chorus of praise:

    "Glory to God in the highest
            and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."

    The final syllables skip across the fields in such enchanted echoes that the shepherds rise to their feet as if to chase after them, as if to round them up and bring them back to the fold. But the echoes are already over the hills, trailing off to silence. And the choir steps back to heaven, drawing the curtain behind them.
    On these earthiest of men the favor of heaven has come to rest. To them, the glory of the Lord has been revealed, glory that had not been witnessed in Israel for hundreds of years. To them, the good news, hidden since the foundation of the world, has been proclaimed.
    Who would ever have considered the birth announcement of God's son to be sent to them? To them, the unclean. To them, the ignorant. To them the suspect.
    The shepherds stumble down the stairway , falling over each other, and run to Bethlehem, searching stable after stable. At last they find the one where a child has been born.
    As they enter, the walls of the stable are awash with shadows. The eyes of the shepherds, awash with awe. There He is just as the angel said. Wrapped in strips of cloth.Lying in a manger. And lying there amid the straw, with cloths so tightly around Him, He looks to them like a new born lamb.
    So fitting that news of the lamb of God's birth would come to shepherds. And that the reception would be hosted in a stable. A place crowded with faces most familiar to them, the faces of animals. A place where the look of their clothes and the smell of their flocks blended in. A dimly lit place, where out of place people would feel most welcome.
    That night the shepherds had gone from the most exalted of heavenly sights to the most humble of earthly ones. From a dramatically lit sky to a dimly lit stable. From a choir of angels to a chorus of animals. From an articulate revelation to an inarticulate one.

A revelation so softly spoken they had to stoop and enter a stable to hear it. Listen. Can you hear it?

    A Savior has been born. Heir to the glory the shepherds saw. Yet His only gold is that lent him by the straw. His only silver, borrowed from the moon. His only jewels, the leftover light of the stars.
    He lies there so meekly. Cradled in the most unexpected places. Coming to us in the weakest of ways. Waiting for us to come, yet willing for us not to. Waiting for us not to. Waiting for us to see, yet willing for us to turn away. Waiting for us to worship Him, yet willing for us to renounce Him.
    He is Christ the Lord. Yet he has placed himself at the mercy of His creation. At the mercy of a census to determine where He would be born. At the mercy of strangers to take Him in. At the mercy of animals to warm Him. At the mercy of mortals to feed Him, to protect Him, to raise Him. Forever at our mercy. To betray Him, beat Him with our fists, impale Him on a cross.

Yet even there He comes to us. Cradled in the most unexpected of places. Coming to us in the weakest of ways. His body once again against the wood. Lying there.

Fired Up For God

    The message that I have for you today is Hebrews 1:7 "And of the angels He says: Who makes His angels spirits and His ministers a flame of fire." (KJV) His ministers are to be flames of fire! It seems to me that no man with a vision, especially a vision by the Spirit's power can read that wonderful passage without being kindled to such a flame of fire for his Lord that it seems as if it would burn up everything that would interfere with his progress.
    A flame of fire! It is a perpetual fire, a constant fire, a continual burning, a holy flame, which is exactly what God's Son was in the world. I can see that God has nothing less for us than to be flames! It seems to me that if Pentecost is to rise and be effective, we must have a living faith so that Christ's great might and power can flow through us until our lives become energized, moved and aflame for God.

    The important point of this, is that the Holy Spirit has come to make Jesus King. It seems that the seed, the life that was given to us when we believed---which is an eternal seed " You have been born again, regenerated , not from a mortal origin (seed, sperm) but from one that is immortal by the ever living and lasting Word of God."   (Amplified) has such resurrection power that I see a new creation rising from it with kingly qualities. I see that when we are filled with the Holy Spirit, it is to crown Jesus King in our lives. Not only is the King to be within us, but also all the glories of His kingly manifestations are to be brought forth in us. Oh, for Him to work in us so that we are moved with His compassion. I see that we can come into the order of God where the vision becomes so much brighter and where the Lord is manifesting His glory with all His virtues and gifts; all His glory seems to fill the soul who is absolutely dead to himself and alive to God. There is much talk about death, but there is a death that is so deep in God that, out of that death, God brings the splendor of His life and all His glory.
    We are backslidden if we have to pray for power, if we have to wait until we feel His presence. The infilling of the Holy Spirit has come upon you: "You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you"   (Acts 1:8)   KJV. Within you is a greater power than there is in the world "Little children, you are of God, you belong to Him, and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the anitchrist], because He who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4) Amplified. Oh, to be awakened out of our unbelief into a place of daring for God on the authority of the Word of God.

    Christ, who is the express image of God "He is the sole expression of the glory of God, the light-being, the out-raying of the divine, and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God's} nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power. When He had by offering Himself accomplished our cleansing of sins and riddance of guilt, He sat down at the right hand of the Divine Majesty on high" (Heb. 1:3) Amplified, has come to our human weaknesses in order to change them and us into a divine likeness so that, by the power of His might, we may not only overcome but also rejoice in the fact that we are more than overcomers. God wants you to be "more than conquerors" (Rom. 8:37) KJV! The infilling of the Holy Spirit has come for nothing less than to possess the whole of our live. He sets up Jesus as King, and nothing can stand in His holy presence when He is made King of our lives. I feel that I need to stir you up and help you know that the inheritance of the Spirit is given to every man "for the profit of all" (1 Cor. 12:7) KJV. Praise the Lord! In the order of the Holy Spirit, we have to "come short in no gift" (1 Cor. 1:7) KJV.

    This same Jesus has come for one purpose: the He might be made so manifest in us that the world will see Him. We must be burning and shinning lights to reflect such a holy Jesus. We cannot do it with cold, indifference experiences, and we never will.
    As His servants we are to be flames. Jesus is life, and the Holy Spirit is the breath. He breathes through us the life of the Son of God, and we give it to others, and it gives life everywhere.

Jesus Is Our Life

    "And from the days of John the Baptist until the present time the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force [as a precious prize] a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought for with most ardent zeal and intense exertion" Matt. 11:12 Ampl.

    This is a message to the believer. Every believer belongs to the kingdom of heaven. Every believer has the life of the Lord in him. And if Jesus, "who is our life" (Col. 3:4), were to come, instantly our life would go out to meet His life because we exist and consist of the life of the Son of God. (see verse 4.) "Your life is hidden with Christ in God" (v3).
    If all believers understood this wonderful passage that is in the twenty-second chapter of Luke's gospel, there would be great joy in their hearts:
    "Then He said to them, With fervent desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer; for I say to you, I will no longer eat of it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God."

    Everyone who is Christ Jesus will be there when He sits down the first time to break bread in the kingdom of heaven. It is not possible for any child of God to remain on earth when Jesus comes. May the Lord help us to believe it.
    I know there is a great deal of speculation on the Rapture and on the coming of the Lord. But let me tell you to hope for edification and comfort, for the Scripture by the Holy Spirit won't let me speak on anything except the edification, consolation, and comfort of the Spirit. (1 Cor. 14:3). Why? Because we are here as Christians for the purpose of giving everybody comfort.
    I don't mean we are to cover up sin. God won't let us do that. But we must unveil truth. And what is truth? The word of God is the truth. "I am the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6). KJV "You search the scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me" (John 5:39) KJV
    What does the truth say? It says that when Christ appears, all who are His at His coming will be changed "in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye" (1 Cor. 15:52) KJV. We will be presented at the same moment as all those who have fallen asleep in Him, and we will all go together.
    "We who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.... And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words." (1 Thess. 4:15-18). KJV

    Jesus said, "For I say unto you, I will not drink of the vine until the kingdom of God comes" (Luke 22:18) KJV. Two thousand years or more have passed since the Lord broke bread around the table with His disciples. I am longing, the saints are longing, for the grand union when millions, billions, trillions will unite with Him in that great fellowship Supper. Praise the Lord! But now, what stimulation, what power, must be working in us daily until that Day appears.

For Apostles Only?

    Was the miracles that were wrought at the hands of the apostles, only for the apostles? Have signs and wonders passed away? I dare say they have not. But to be sure we will look at God's Word to determine the truth.

"And he said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (The Gospel) to every creature (of the whole human race). He who believes [that is,] who adheres to and trusts in and relies on the Gospel and Him who sets it forth and is baptized will be saved [from the penalty of eternal death]; but he who does not believe who does not adhere to and trust in and rely on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth will be condemned. And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe [not apostles only but those who believe]; In My name [Jesus] they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages; They will pick up serpents, and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will get well. So then the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken to them was taken up into heaven and He sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, while the lord kept working with them and confirming the message by attesting signs and miracles that closely accompanied [it]."      Mark 16:15-20 Amplified

We have assumed that because Jesus was talking to the apostles that these verses were intended only for those eleven since Judas Iscariot was no longer with them, and for their use only. Lets look again closely at verses 16 and 17.

Jesus said "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." Pay close attention to the first part of v17 "And these signs shall follow them that believe" "them" is future tense not only would signs follow the apostles as they were sent out but also "them that believe" going forward.       KJV

Lets take a look at another passage of scripture to help clarify that signs and wonders were not just for the apostles, but us as believers today.

"Now after this the Lord chose and appointed seventy others, and sent them out ahead of Him, two by two, into every town and place where he Himself was about to come (visit). And He said to them, (There is much ripe grain,) the harvest indeed is abundant, but the farm hands are few. Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest".  Luke 10:1-2      Amplified

So here are seventy more appointed outside of the original eleven, and Jesus told them to go ahead of Him before He arrived. Lets look further.

"Whenever you go onto a town and they receive and accept and welcome you, eat what is set before you; And heal the sick in it and say to them, the kingdom of God has come close to you". Luke 10:8-9 Amplified

"And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you".   Luke 10:17-19    KJV

Jesus goes on to tell them don't be so excited that you have power over the enemy, even though He had given the power to them who were not of the original eleven, but be excited that your name is written in the lambs book of life.

So here we have first the original eleven minus Judas Iscariot, and then Jesus appoints seventy more with the same power as He gave to the original eleven. Not only that, but while the seventy were out casting out devils and healing the sick, Jesus said He saw "Satan as lightning all from heaven."

"Therefore select out from among yourselves, brethren, seven men of good and attested character and repute, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may assign to look after this business and duty. But we will continue to devote ourselves steadfastly to prayer and the ministry of the word. And the suggestion pleased the whole assembly, and they selected Stephen, a man full of faith [that is, of a strong and welcome belief that Jesus is the Messiah], and full of and controlled by the Holy Spirit; and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmeanas, and Nicolaus, a proselyte [convert] from Antioch. These they presented to the apostles, who after prayer laid their hands on them.         Luke 6:3-6 Amplified

"And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the People. And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake Acts 6:8,10    KJV

Jesus started with twelve minus one added seventy plus Stephen then 1 more, "Mattias" Acts 1:26   KJV, to replace Judas Iscariot, plus one hundred twenty including "the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren" Acts 1:14 KJV. When the Holy Spirit was poured out in that upper room as they were all in one accord.

So to believe that believers today, are not able to partake or accomplish what the early apostles did is invalidated by the scriptures provided. If that were the case, we would need to remove those scripture passages which are supposed to apply only to the early church and apostles, which would mean God is a respecter of persons, which the scripture clearly states He is not "For God shows no partiality (undue favor, or unfairness; with Him one man is not different from another). Romans 2:11   Amplified

Holy Spirits Royal Plan

    The Holy Spirit has a royal plan, a heavenly plan. He came to unveil the King, to show the character of God, to unveil the precious blood of Jesus. Because we have the Holy Spirit within us, we can see Jesus clothed for humanity. He was moved by the Spirit, led by the Spirit. We read of some who heard the Word of God but did not benefit from it because faith was lacking in them (Heb. 4:2). We must have a living faith in God's Word, a faith that is quickened by the Spirit.
    A man may be saved and still be carnally minded. When many people hear about the infilling of the Holy Spirit, their carnal minds at once arise against the Holy Spirit. "The carnal mind...is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be" (Rom. 8:7). One time, Jesus' disciples wanted to call down fire from heaven as a punishment against a Samaritan village for not welcoming Him. But Jesus said to them, "You do not know what manner of spirit you are" (Luke 9:55).

For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life. Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.           (2 Cor. 5:4-5)

    When we are clothed with the Spirit, our human depravity is covered and everything that is contrary to the mind of God is destroyed. God must have people for Himself who are being clothed with a heavenly habotation, perfectly prepared by the Holy Spirit for the Day of the Lord. " For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven" (2 Cor. 5:2).
    Was Paul speaking here only about the coming of the Lord? No. Yet this condition of preparedness on earth is related to our heavenly state. The Holy Spirit is coming to take out of the world a church that is a perfect bride. He must find in us perfect yieldedness, with every desire subjected to Him. He has come to reveal Christ in us so that the glorious flow of the life of God may flow out of us, bringing "rivers of living water" (John 7:38) to the thirsty land.

" If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness" (Rom. 8:10).

"For all that is in the world; the lust of the fleah, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life; is not of the Father but is of the world" (1 John 2:16).

    The Spirit has to breath into us a new occupancy, a new order. He came to give the vision of a new life in Christ.

"[God] Who hath saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began; But is now made manifest by the appearing our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, adn hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel" (2 Tim. 1:9-10)

    We are "saved", called with "a holy calling" ----"called to be saints" (Rom. 1:7), holy, pure, Godlike, sons with power ( John 1:12). It has been a long time now since the debt of sin has been settled, our redemption was secured, and death was abolished. Mortality is a hindrance, but death no longer has power. Sin no longer has dominion. You reign in Christ; you appropriate His finished work. Don't groan a nd travail for a week if you are in need; "only believe" (Mark 5:36). Don't fight to get some special thing; "only believe." It is according to your faith that you will receive (Matt. 9:29). God blesses you with faith. "Have faith in God" (Mark 11:22). If you are free in God, believe, and it will come to pass.

"If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, siiting at the right hand of God" (Col. 3:1).

    Stir yourselves up, beloved! Where are you? Have you been planted with Christ in the likeness of His death, and been risen with Christ (Rom. 6:5)? If so it was beautiful planting. Be seated with Him in heavenly places (Eph. 2:6). God credits us with righteousness through faith in Christ (Rom. 4:5), and if we believe Him. Why should we doubt?

    Leave Doubting Street; live on Faith-Victory Street. Jesus sent the seventy out, and they came back in victory. It takes God to make it real. Dare to believe Him, until everything that is not of God is withere, and the life of Jesus is implanted within you.

Clothed With The Spirit

    God has a plan for us in this life of the Spirit, this abundant life. Jesus came so that we might have life
(John 10:10). Satan comes to kill, steal and destroy (v10), but God has abundance for us --full measure, pressed down, shaken together, overflowing, abundant measure (Luke6:38). This abundance is God filling us with His own personality and presence, making us salt and light and giving us a revelation of Himself. It is God with us in all circumstances, afflictions, persecutions, and trials, girding us with truth. Christ the Initiative, the Triune God, is in control, and our every thought, word, and action must be in line with Him, with no weakness or failure. Our God is a God of might, light, and revelation, preparing us for heaven. Our lives are "hidden with Christ in God" (Col. 3:3). When He "who is our life" is manifested, we will also
"appear with Him in glory" (v.4).

    For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens....For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that the mortality may be swallowed up by life. Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee. (2Cor. 5:1, 4-5)

    God's Word is a tremendous word, a productive word, a productive word. It produces what it is ---Power. It produces Godlikeness. We get to heaven through Christ, the word of God; we have peace through the blood of His cross. Redemption is ours through the knowledge of the Word. We are saved because God's Word says so: "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Rom. 10:9).
    If we are baptized with the Holy Spirit, it is because Jesus said, "You shall recieve powerwhen the Holy Spirit has come upon you" (Acts 1:8). We must all have one thought----to be filled with the Holy Spirit, to be filled with God.

Fruit of the Spirit

Galatians 5:22-23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love , joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

In order to move in the gifts or actively participate in what God wants to direct in our lives towards those saved and lost we must first understand the fruit of the Spirit.

1. Love or Charity The self-denying, self-sacrificing, Christ-like love which is the foundation of all other graces. One of the main messages that comes through loud and clear from studying our Bible is the extreme importance that God the Father is placing on that everyone learn how to love Him, love ourselves, love one another, and to even go as far as to be able to love our enemies and those who will try and hurt us.

2 Joy That deep, abiding, inner rejoicing in the Lord The joy of the Lord can really give you an incredible surge of strength in your own daily walk with God – especially when you have to take on some really tough situations. This is why each Christian should work very closely with the Holy Spirit in not only getting Him to release His joy into their system, but to also keep it running through them on a regular and consistent basis.

3 Peace The inner tranquility and poise of the Christian whose trust is in God through Christ The quality of peace should be one of the main qualities that you should try and get worked up into your soul through the Holy Spirit in the sanctification process. Without the peace of God operating in your life, you could become very easily rattled, shaken, tormented and knocked right off of your game in the Lord the first time any adversity should ever come your way.

4 Longsuffeing Forbearance under suffering and endurance in the face of adversity God operates on a much longer and slower time frame than we are used to operating in the fast paced world in which we live in. You will really have to work with the Holy Spirit on this particular quality to get it properly worked up into your personality. The reason for this is that your own impatience will start to act up and try to override the patience and longsuffering that the Holy Spirit will try and transmit to you. At times, it may become of battle of wills – your will against His will.

5 Gentleness Love for mankind, hospitality, acts of kindness, readiness to help, human friendship, benevolence, taking thought of others The quality of kindness will go hand in hand with the quality of love. Once the Holy Spirit starts to transmit His love up into you, the quality of kindness will follow right along with it. It will then become much easier for you to be able to be kind to others once the love of God starts to flow more into your personality.

6 Goodness Kindness in actual manifestation, virtue equipped for action, a bountiful propensity both to will and to do what is good, intrinsic goodness producing a generosity and a Godlike state or being Not only does the goodness of God draw people direct to Him, but this fruit of goodness operating in a believer can also draw people direct to God through the actual believer. Spirit-filled saints who are walking with many of these fruits operating through them are like a magnet. Many people who have been saved through an individual believer say that what drew them in was the love and goodness they saw shining through that believer.

7 Faith Fidelity which makes one true to his promise and faithful to his task God the Father really holds this particular quality in high esteem, and this is one quality that He will really expect you to operate very strongly in – not only in your own personal relationship with Him, but also in your other personal relationships with your family and friends. In other words, He wants you to be faithful and loyal to your spouses, to your children, to your parents, and to your good friends.

8 Meeknes Willing to pardon injuries, correct faults. One who rules his spirit well Again, Jesus is the perfect role model for all of us to study and learn from – especially with how He handled people while He was walking down here on our earth. For men in particular, His actions and behavior towards others should be a major study for all of us and we should earnestly seek to pattern our own daily walk after Him. And one of the qualities that He had operating in Him with great abundance was the quality of gentleness.

9 Temperance Calls for a self-disciplined life following Christ’s example of being in the world but not of the world Since we all live in a very self-centered and materialistic type world today, many people have very poor impulse control. If they see something they immediately want, they will do anything they can to try and get it. They will not be denied until they get what they are going after. These people are obviously very weak in the quality of self-control. They are ruled by their own flesh rather than by the Holy Spirit. That is why the Bible tells us that if we can learn how to really walk in the Holy Spirit, then we will not fulfill the lusts of our flesh.

This is why the above verses from Galatians are so powerful and so needed by every single Christian today. In these verses, God is telling us that He can transmit some of His Godly and divine qualities right up into the middle of us like filling up a new car with its first tank of gasoline. Many of God’s people need a fresh infusion of His divine qualities due to the leaks that have occurred as a result of some of the beatings His people have taken during the course of their lives.

Jesus is coming back for a Bride that will be without spot or blemish. He is calling His Church to clean up their act and allow His Holy Spirit to begin this sanctifying work in their lives. However, the choice is up to each individual believer. Sanctification is not something that can be forced upon anyone. God really respects everyone’s free will and He will never force His will or His ways on anyone.
To those of you who will decide to enter into this sanctification process with the Lord – realize that all of this will not occur overnight. The Holy Spirit will set the pace and timetable that He will want to work with you on. You can perfectly trust Him to handle each of the areas that He will want to get into.
Though some of this may be a bit painful at times, since none of us likes to admit that we have anything that needs to be changed, let the Holy Spirit take you as far as He will want to go with you in this realm – and I guarantee you that your life and your state of well-being will all be changed for the better – much better!

Pray The Price "Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread"

    Larry Lea tells the story of his experience a as a third-year seminary student who had the rare opportuntiy to dine at the prestigeous Petrouleum Club in Fort Worth, Texas. He was invited into those elegant surroundings at the invitation of a wealthy business man. After he had said the blessing, he paused as he reached for his fork, noticing in suprise that the gentleman who had invited him was weeping. This 60 year old multi-millionare with his head bowed, hot tears dripping off his chin and staining his expensive silk tie was sobbing.
   Larry asked asked softly "whats wrong? Can I help?
   Several seconds elasped as the gentlemen struggled to regain his composure. Taking a deep breath, he confided, "I was 19 years old when God called me to preach, but I said no. I wanted my own way, wanted to make a lot of money. So I refused to take my hands off my life".
   His voice broke, and more tears trickled down his face. "But I don't have any peace," he sobbed brokenly. "I missed God's purpose for my life."

   Maybe this reminds you of a story. You remeber it, Jesus on His way to Jerusalem when a well dressed young man came running up and fell at Jesus feet. "Good Maste" he asked earnestly, "what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?"
   Mark records the momentous deciscion that took place in the next few moments:
   And as he was setting out on a journey, a man ran up and knelt before Him, and asked Him, Teacher,(You are essentially and perfectaly morally) good, what must I do to inherit eternal life( that is, to partake of eternal salvation in the Messiah's kingdom)?
   And Jesus said unto him, why do you call Me ( essentially and perfectly morally) good? There is no one good except God alone.
   You know the commandments: Do not kill; do not commit adultery; do not steal; do not bear false witness; do not defraud; honor your father and mother.
   And he replied to Him, Teacher, I have carefully guarded and observed all these and taken care not to violate them from my boyhood.
   And Jesus looking upon him loved him, and He said unto him, you lack one thing; go and sell all you have, and give [the money] to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come [and] accompany Me---Walking the same road I walk. (Amplified Bible).
   God's principles are diametrically opposed to those of the world. God says, "Give and it shall be given unto you." The world cautions, "get all you can,and can all you get!" But man's ways are not God's way's.
   What a wonderful balance we see in the Lord's prayer. The first concern:
1. His name
2. His kingdom
3. His will
4. Then He tells us to pray "give us this day our daily bread"
    If we seek first God's kingdom and His righteousness, all other things will be added unto us. Jesus was not trying to transform the rich young ruler into the poor old beggar. He was trying to break the power of the greed and poverty that bound this young man's soul.
    You see, he built his life around his money, a lot of people are like that, money is their security cushion but they can't enjoy it or sleep at night for worrying about holding onto it.
    God gives us four basic requirements for succesfully praying for our needs.
1. Be in the will of God Fellowship with God through prayer and reading of the Word of God (Acts 1:8)
2. Fellowship with one another find a local church hang with true believers (Hebrews 13:17)
3. Balanced, diligent work habits work earn a living with the talents God has given you (1Thes 4:11,12)
    (1Thes 3:11,12   2 Thes. 3:10).
4. Obedience in giving to God (Malachi 3:10,11 1 Timothy 6:10) If we take care of the root of evil
    we will not have the fruit of evil in our lives.

Pray The Price "Thy Kingdom Come Thy Will Be Done"

God reigns over us when we obey Him, accept His rule and authority in our lives and become active in Jesus kingdom movement, to defeat evil, redeem sinners, and bring to mankind the blessings of God's reign. This essentialy, is what we are earnestly desiring when we declare, "Thy Kingdom Come. Thy Will Be done". We are submitting to God and calling upon Him to perform His will on earth.

God has a will for each day of your life. Instead of constantly mouthing weak prayers, begin bodly declaring God's promises. Stand in the victory that Christ has won for you. Declare that God's will shall be done, that His kingdom will come (Romans 14:17).

Priorities can get out of order, for example everyone has buttoned a shirt and then looked in the mirror and realized, they had missed aligned the order, and then have to start over. Thats how it is in our lives without correct priorities, nothing aligns and we continually start over.

Here is a better example a pastor friend of mine at one time had his priorities and time management set up something like this. His church came first, his preparation second, family was third, and communion and prayer with God came last even though he understood (Matthew 6:33). His ministry was flourishing but not over flowing a few people were getting saved and baptized, but then he realigned his priorities and God began to bring in a harvest that my friend could not believe.

Ordering your time priorities is important, but next you must establish prayer priorities:

Declare that God's kingdom come and His will be done in these four major areas:

1. Yourself- James 5:16 says, "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much". Unless you are right before God, your prayer will be ineffective. You divine wisdom and revelation if you are to properly administrate your home, business, resources. Invite Jesus to assume His rightful place on the throne of your heart and to rule your spirit. Then pray over the the task that are ahead for the day, stay before the Lord until the course of your day is set and the Spirit of God is functioning in you.

2. Your family- If you are married pray for your mate. Pray the righteousness, peace and joy will rule your mate's life. Make a declartion of faith, "Thy kingdom come thy will be done," pray over the needs of your mate until the Spirit releases you to move on in prayer. This is vitally important because if you lose your own house, your work for the house of God will be greatly hindered.
    Our families must come first. Some of the most remorseful christians you will meet are those who tried to win the world for Christ but lost their on families in the process. How should you pray for your family? If you have children, declare "Thy kingdom come Thy will be done", in each of their lives. Make specific petitions. Listen to what the Spirit of God speaks to you concerning your children. I urge you to intercede for your children and pray that they will not get out of the perfect will of God for their lives. While they are young ask God to reveal the perfect plan He has for their lives so that you may train them up in the way that they should go.Treasure in your Heart those things the Lord speaks to about your children, and claim God's wisdom for your children each day.

3. Your Church- Pray for the pastor , the leadership of the church, the faithfulness of the people, and the harvest. As your pray for your pastor, ask God to anoint him, speak to him and diretc him. Petition the Lord to give him a shepherds heart, to impart wisdom to him as he spends time in prayer and the word, and make him a pure channel through which the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit can flow.
    Pray for the leadership in your church, pray for them by name. As you pray for them one by one , the Holy Spirit will often show you specific needs. Pray for the people in your church who are ministering in ways which touch your life directly.
    Pray that the people of the church will be faithful to their families, to the vision Gdo has given your church, and to Jesus. ask the Holy Spirit to plan to plant them in the hoaue of the Lord, so they will bring forth fruit as soul winners and intercessors, pray that they will be faithful in bringing their tithes and offerings to the storehouse.
    Pray the harvest in (Is. 43:5-7) as you pray over your church speak to the principalities and powers of the air who work in the children of disobedience (Eph. 2:2). These principalities and powers hold reins over certain areas, so speak to the North, South, East and West as if it were a person and command it to release it's hold on those who are to be saved and those who are to be a part of your fellowship in your community or city where your church is located, tarry in this palce of prayer for the harvest until the Holy Spirit releases you. Finally in the Name of Jesus ask God to dispatch angels to minister to the heirs of salvation (Heb.1:13,14).
    Pray for your nation. I know we live in troubling time but God commands to "pray for those in authority" pray that our president or leader will have the wisdom of God; that spiritual leaders will walk in wisdom, be people of prayer and be kept by the power of God. Pray specifically naming your city, state and national leaders. Intercede for your country. Pray for revival to sweep the land. Also pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Ps. 122:6), so prsy for the success of Israel.

Perhaps you now realize how simple it is to pray one hour. You see, our problem has been simple. Not knowing what to say or do when we prayed, we wore ourselves out in about ten minutes. But Jesus said "After this manner pray ye", and He gave us a prayer outline to follow.

At times you are sure to get hung up in prayer, unable to leave one person. Whne that happens be very sensitive to the Holy Spirit because He knows that the person needs prayer that day, don't rush through prayer, pray until the Holy Spirit gives you release.

Exodus 3:13-14 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they sahall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say to them? v14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said , Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

Hebrew translators used consonants YHWH or JHVH which we read as Yahweh or Jehovah because His name was to sacred to be spoken aloud.

Yahweh is more than His existence, it reveals His personal intimate presence.
Jehovah speaks to His readiness to save His people and to act for them.

Jehovah "I AM THAT I AM" could read " I am with you, ready to save and to act on your behalf, just as I have always been."

The Old Testament reveals eight names compunded with the name Jehovah. These names, each of them, reveals the nature and character of God. But they also reveal the five-fold promise God has made to each of us who believe under the New Covenant or New Testament, pointing to the fulfillment in the person and work of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jehovah-tsidkenu - "The Lord Our righteousness", Jesus Christ, our Jehovah-tsidkenu was substituted for us (Romans 5:17.) The name " Jehovah our Righteousness" reveals our acceptance before God (2 Corinthians 5:21.) So when you pray "Hallowed be thy name" thank God He has
already made a decision about your sins (1 John 1:9.) Righteous equals Jesus Christ plus nothing (Colossians 2:10)

Jehovah-m'kaddesh - " The Lord who Sanctifies" to set apart for God's service, we as believers are to be different, set apart from the world,obeying God. He is holy, yet through the blood of His Son Jesus He has made us holy in order to fellowship with Him (Leviticus 20:8.) The Holy Spirit indwells you and I as believers and gives us power to live holy lives, to be spiritually and morally pure
(1 Cor.6:11; 1 Thess. 4:3,4; 1 Thess. 5:23.) So when you pray and meditate upon God's name
"Jehovah-m'kaddesh" Jehovah who sanctifies, praise Him because the Blood of Jesus took away your and broke the power of sin in your life, and the Blood overcame your sin (Romans 6:17,18; Heb. 13:12;
1 cor. 6:9-11.)

Jehovah-shalom - "Jehovah is Peace" (Judges 6:24.) Because God is our Father we benefit from the fullness of the Holy Spirit, wholeness, harmony and satisfaction in life. Jesus atonement is the foundation for peace with our Father, someone had to pay the price of sin, which was death, and Jesus Christ paid that price, and our fellowship with God was restored (Col. 1:20-22; Isaiah 53:5.)

Jehovah-shammah - is the promise and pledge of the completion of the program of redemption. At the conclusion of David's most beautiful Psalm 23 we discover this name - JEHOVAH-SHAMMAH - God is THERE. In the House of the LORD - WITH THE LORD! Moses informed us in Deuteronomy 32:9 that, "..the Lord's portion is his people". In Isaiah 43: 1-7 we have the Lord's pledge to tread the deep waters of trial with His people; to protect them when walking through the fire of trials, stating, "thou wast precious in my sight", and "I have loved thee" (verse 4). He is saying, "I am the Lord that IS THERE".

Jehovah-rophe- The Lord Who Heals" Ex. 15:22-26. From "rophe" ("to heal"); implies spiritual, emotional as well as physical healing. (Jer. 30:17, 3:22; Isa. 61:1) God heals body, soul and spirit; all levels of man's being.
Jehovah-jireh- "The Lord will Provide." Gen. 22:14. From "jireh" ("to see" or "to provide," or to "foresee" as a prophet.) God always provides, adequate when the times come.
Jehova-nissi- "The Lord Our Banner." Ex. 17:15. God on the battlefield, from word which means "to glisten," "to lift up," See Psalm 4:6. The cross was on a high place called Golgotha, the banner was rasied.
Jehova-rohi-"The Lord Our Shepherd" Psa. 23, from "ro'eh" (to pasture).

When in prayer remember to give thanks for who our God is.

    Close your eyes and imagine Jesus picking up a large bowl and walking toward a huge granite altar and from behind that altar shines a brilliant light. The Lord then empties the contents of the basin on the granite altar, the liquid poured out on that altar is Jesus own blood.

    Peter 1:18-21 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation recieved by tradition from your fathers; v19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as a lamb without blemish and without spot: v20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, v21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

    Galatians 4:4-7 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, v5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might recieve the adoption of sons and daughters. v6 And because ye are sons and duagters, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. v7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son and a daughter; and if a son or daughter, then an heir of God through Christ.

    You have received Christs forgiveness, you have been adopted and ingrafted into the family of God and are His child, able to now call Him Father because of the blood of Jesus slain from the foundation of the world and a partaker of the new covenant.

    Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and by his stripes we are healed.

    He has washed you from your sins with His precious blood.
Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ who is the faithful witness and first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth, unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood.

    Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Sin can no longer have dominion over you.

    The blood of the lamb also testifies, you can now enter into the most holy place
Hebrews 10:19 Having therefore, bretheren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus.

    The blood of the lamb also testifies your body has now become the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and is God's gift to you.
1 Corinthians 6:19 What! know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

     The blood of Jesus testifies that by his wounds and suffering you and I are healed and made whole.

1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousnes; by whose stripes ye were healed.
Matthew 8:16-17 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possesed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick; v17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the profit, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. We have been healed spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically.

    The blood of Jesus testifies that He has made you free from the law of sin and death.
Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death

    Jesus testifies that he took the curse of our failures and insufficiency.
Galatians 3:13,14 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree. v14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might recieve the promise of the Spirit through faith.

    Jesus blood testifies that you and I will always triumph in Him.
2 Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

    Finally Jesus blood testifies about our covenant relationship with God our Father, we are free from the fear of death and hell, death has been abolished and brought us life.
2 Timothy 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.

    Knowing now what Jesus has done for you and I, we can move forward in our journey to undertsand how "Hallowed His name is".
